Las Vegas Homes For Sale
Las Vegas, often celebrated for its vibrant nightlife and entertainment offerings, also boasts a dynamic and diverse residential market. As more people are drawn to the city for its economic opportunities and unique lifestyle, the demand for homes in Las Vegas has seen a significant uptick. This article explores the trends, opportunities, and considerations for those interested in Las Vegas homes for sale.
The Appeal of Las Vegas Real Estate
Las Vegas is more than just a tourist destination; it's a place to call home. The city's real estate market is characterized by its variety of options, from high-rise condos and luxurious single-family homes to comfortable townhouses and affordable starter homes. This diversity makes Las Vegas attractive to a wide range of buyers, including young professionals, families, and retirees.
Economic Growth and Market Trends
The economic landscape of Las Vegas is a significant driver behind its real estate market. With a growing tech sector and a stable tourism industry, the city offers numerous employment opportunities. This economic stability supports a strong real estate market characterized by steady appreciation rates and a competitive environment for buyers.
In recent years, Las Vegas has experienced a surge in real estate prices, yet it remains more affordable compared to other major cities like San Francisco or New York. The median price of homes in Las Vegas has been on the rise, yet the market offers better value per square foot, especially in newly developed areas.
Neighborhoods and What They Offer
Las Vegas is home to a variety of neighborhoods, each with its own character and amenities. Summerlin, located on the western rim of the city, is known for its planned communities and access to outdoor activities. It's a favorite among families and outdoor enthusiasts. Henderson, on the other hand, offers a more suburban feel with plenty of parks, schools, and shopping centers, making it ideal for families.
For those who prefer a more eclectic and urban lifestyle, the Arts District or Downtown Las Vegas provides a vibrant arts scene, unique boutiques, and a range of dining and entertainment options. Meanwhile, the Lakes community offers waterfront properties unusual for a desert city, featuring man-made lakes and a luxurious ambiance.
The Buying Process in Las Vegas
Purchasing a home in Las Vegas involves several steps that potential buyers should be aware of. Firstly, it’s advisable to get pre-approved for a mortgage to better understand your budget and strengthen your position in negotiations. Given the competitive nature of the market, having financing in order can make a significant difference.
It's also wise to work with a real estate agent who specializes in the Las Vegas market. They can provide valuable insights into different neighborhoods, upcoming developments, and market trends that might affect your decision. Additionally, they can help navigate the sometimes complex negotiations and paperwork involved in real estate transactions.
Investment Potential
Las Vegas homes not only serve as primary residences but also offer significant investment opportunities. The city's constant influx of tourists and business travelers drives demand for short-term rental properties, which can provide a steady income stream for property owners. Moreover, as the city expands, there are new development projects constantly on the horizon, potentially yielding high returns on investment for early buyers.
Challenges and Considerations
While the Las Vegas real estate market offers numerous opportunities, there are also challenges to consider. The city's popularity can lead to high competition for desirable properties, sometimes resulting in bidding wars and above-asking price offers. Additionally, the hot desert climate and water scarcity are environmental factors that potential homeowners should consider.
Conclusion
Las Vegas homes for sale offer a compelling mix of affordability, variety, and investment potential, set against the backdrop of a dynamic and growing city. Whether you're looking for a bustling downtown lifestyle, a family-friendly community, or a luxurious retreat, Las Vegas has something to offer. With the right preparation and guidance, buying a home in Las Vegas can be an excellent investment in your future.

FLORIDA
2021 Nov 1 (Mon) – I am back from New York.  My trip was 11 days.  I stayed with my sister, Susan, for most of the time and a couple of days at my daughter, Miranda’s, place.
I was inducted into my high school Hall of Fame on October 22.  The next day, the inductees (7 of us along with the entire baseball team of 2006) marched in the Homecoming Parade.  It was very interesting.  The school principal was so impressed with my speech that he asked me to be the key note speaker at the graduation ceremony next year.  I said yes.  We will be in Pennsylvania the first weekend in June with our WWII Reenactment Caravan so the location works.
I made the rounds with all the “ologists” – oncologist, radiologist, ophthalmologist, etc.  I added a new ologist this trip – a pulmonologist.  The last two PET/CT scans I have had have shown a spot on my lung.  The oncologist ignored it and never even mentioned it but since it has shown up twice, I felt I should consult a lung specialist.  He didn’t think it was anything to worry about but suggested that I get another CT scan next month then come back to see him in January.
The oncologist was new.  I met her for the first time.  We will have a telehealth appointment in two weeks at which time she will decide what our next step is.  I want to stop the chemo but she doesn’t feel that would be a good idea.
The ophthalmologist says I have glaucoma.  He referred me to a glaucoma specialist in his office.  He made an appointment for me for next month but I wasn’t planning to return to New York until January.  I’ll have to think about it.
2021 Oct 19 (Tue) – Packed up and left Tyndall AFB at 10:30 a.m. It was later than we usually move but we only had 100miles to go today.  For some reason, it took us 3 hours and 15 minutes for the drive which was mostly on interstate roads. We already passed a time change to Central Time when we came to Tyndall.  I don’t know. Weird.
We are staying at Eagles Landing RV Park in Holt.  It’s way up in the panhandle and close enough to the border that DISH network thinks we are in Alabama.  The park is very nice.  There are straight rows, all pull through, with wide inner roadways.  Not much in the way of trees.  Paul thinks it’s a fairly new park as there are small trees planted here and there.
I leave for New York tomorrow.  I’ll be back next month.
2021 Oct 18 (Mon) – We did the laundry today then ran out to do some errands and get fuel for tomorrow’s move.
2021 Oct 17 (Sun) – We watched the church service back in Islip this morning.  There was a baptism and nobody was wearing a mask in the church.  They had a yard sale yesterday and said everything went very well. Sheba seems to be herself today.   She tried to eat some dinner last night and is looking to go out today.  Looks like she is returning to normal.
We had a delightful drive to Panama City Beach this afternoon.  We parked and tried to take a walk out on a long pier but they were charging $3 a person.  Seriously?  So we walked out on the beach.  The sand was so fine that it was like powder and white as sugar.  I put my feet in the Gulf of Mexico as we walked along the beach. We saw two dark patches in the water. As I was looking at it wondering if it was a patch of sea grass, some gulls dived on the patch.  The water shimmered and a few fish jumped up in the water.  Then the dark patch began to slowly move.  It was a school of fish!  That is the first time that we have been able to see a school of fish from the shore. We stood and watched the two dark patches undulate back and forth as large fish and gulls attacked the group.
Tumblr media
There were condos, apartments and hotels up and down the beach. We calculate that there must be a million people on the beach at the height of the season.  Along the main road, there were tourist attractions and shops. We stopped at Pier Park which was like an outdoor shopping center much like the mall in Lake Havasu.  There was also a huge sky wheel like in Las Vegas.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
On the way back to the campground, we stopped at Winn Dixie and picked up some groceries.
2021 Oct 16 (Sat) – We drove onto base today.  I had to mail off some letters.  We couldn’t find the post office.  It was torn down.  There were signs of devastation everywhere.  The area was hit by Hurricane Michael three years ago and the base is recovering very slowly.  We passed an old housing area with abandoned and damaged homes still standing.  There was another area where new housing had been built.  Lots of construction was ongoing next to damaged buildings.  At the rate they’re going, it will take years to fully recover. We saw huge tracts of land with broken and downed trees.  Large areas have just been abandoned.
We had to drive off base to find a post office.  We also stopped at Applebee’s for lunch and both of us had salads. The experience was less than satisfactory.  Sheba is still off today – not eating and sleeping all day.  I am getting a little worried.
2021 Oct 15 (Fri) – We stayed around the campground today, just hanging out, walking the dog, and enjoying the relaxed atmosphere.  UPS delivered our forwarded mail.  It’s kind of like Christmas when we get the mail. We go through the piles of envelopes together, looking for the good stuff and throwing out the bad stuff. I got my membership card for the American Legion and Paul got his ATM card.  There were two checks from SMART as reimbursement/refunds.  Sheba was very logey all last night and today.  She hasn’t eaten a thing all day.  I guess she’s having a reaction to her shots.
2021 Oct 14 (Thu – My Birthday) – Wow!  Here I am at age 70.  Although I always say I’m going to live to 100, it is still strange to say that I am 70 years old.  That sounds really old.  We went out to Los Antojitos in St. Andrews for lunch.  We had margaritas and Mexican food.  Everything was very good. We broke the diet for the week but enjoyed every minute of it.
We brought the animals to the veterinarian today.  The charge was over $1,300!  We came home with a bag full of medicines – pills for Bonnie’s liver, pills for Bonnie’s arthritis, pills for heartworm and fleas & ticks. Add in x-rays for Bonnie and vaccinations for Sheba.  Ouch!
2021 Oct 13 (Wed) – We went food shopping at WalMart today.  We checked out the veterinarian where we are going to take Bonnie and Sheba tomorrow.  The office is about 15 minutes away.  The diet continues to go well.  I lost 2.6 pounds in this past week.  Whoo hoo!
2021 Oct 12 (Tue) – We walked over to the office and paid for 8 nights here (they were closed yesterday for the holiday).  It was $175 for the week plus $30 for the additional day. Not bad considering costs have been skyrocketing these past few months.  We both got COLA raises on our NYS pensions that comes to about $20. Very little to offset these increased costs.
2021 Oct 11 (Mon – Columbus Day) – We left Panacea at 10:30 a.m. It was just 100 miles to our next destination so we took our time.  We arrived at Tyndall AFB Raptor Ranch Campground at 12:45 a.m.  The office was closed and we checked in with the camp host. We are in the overflow lot (again). We were here in March of 2020 and had to stay in overflow then, too.  The sites are very tight but we have FHU so it’s all good.
Tumblr media
2021Oct 10 (Sun) – I made Banana Lover’s Flourless Pancakes this morning.  First batch was messy but I soon got the hang of it and the next batch came out pretty good. The meal was delicious!
For lunch, I made a Weight Watcher’s sandwich of roast beef.  That was also delicious.  After lunch, we took a ride to the Gulf Specimen Marine Lab Aquarium.  It was interesting but needs attention.  Placards were missing from many of the tanks, some tanks were overcrowded, others were empty, one tank was leaking with a bucket underneath to catch the water. There were many fish, crabs and turtles. Two tanks had large sharks in them. Some of the sharks were red.  We’d never seen that before.
When we were done wandering the facility, we went to the St. Marks Lighthouse.  The lighthouse was not open for exploration.  There was a plaque saying when the lighthouse was built and describing its history.  There were a swarm of dragonflies drifting nearby.  It was interesting to watch them.
Tumblr media
After we returned to the campground and fed the animals, we went across the street to Angelo & Son Seafood Restaurant.  It was the most delightful meal!  We sat out on the patio and the sun was setting just as we were finishing our meal.  Our meal was delicious; cooked to perfection.  And our waitress was great.  Everything was just right.
2021 Oct 9 (Sat) – I spent the morning checking the cabinets. I took all the canned goods out, inventoried what I had and reorganized the shelves.
We went to Myra Jean’s Restaurant in Wakulla for lunch.  We were on our way to go food shopping and it was the closest store to Panacea (about 20 minutes).  What. A. Wait.  It took 45 minutes to get a chicken Caesar salad and a buffalo chicken salad.  They had a sign up that said they were not a fast food restaurant, but the wait was excessive.  Certainly not worth 45 minutes!
After lunch, we went food shopping at Winn Dixie.  Now we are all stocked and ready to follow the Weight Watchers diet.  I am amazed at how good the food has been so far.  Very different from the diet of years ago.  This will be easy to follow.  And tasty, too.
We spent the evening finishing up the plans for the World War II Reenactment caravan next year.  Now it’s all follow-up with the various venues.  The campground is already in place.
2021 Oct 8 (Fri) – We packed up and left Margaret & Rich’s at 9:30 a.m.  It was a four hour drive over 189 miles to Ochlockonee Bay in Panacea.  We are staying at Holiday Park Campground.  It is full and sites are tight.  They advertise themselves as Big Rig Friendly but if anyone has hesitation about maneuvering in close spaces, they shouldn’t come here.
2021 Oct 7 (Thu) – We stayed at home all day.  Rich had to go into the hospital to have his defibrillator replaced.  One of the wires broke somehow.  The doctor was supposed to just reattach the wire but it turned out the new wire didn’t fit his machine so they replaced the whole thing.  He was feeling pretty groggy at dinner but recovering just fine.
2021 Oct 6 (Wed) – We ran out this afternoon to do some errands. Got fuel, shopped at WalMart for groceries, stopped at a pet store to get food, and mailed off a package to Travis. Margaret made a delicious dinner tonight of shrimp and broccoli.  She even made a dessert of butterscotch mousse.  This Weight Watchers diet is pretty tasty!  I signed up for it.
2021 Oct 5 (Tue) – We packed up and left Walt Disney World at 10:30 a.m.  The drive was 84 miles to Hernando where we are staying at Margaret & Rich’s house for 3 nights.  They have a nice set up under cover next to their garage.  We have electric and water hook up.
Margaret cooked stuffed turkey breast and potatoes for dinner. It was very good and turned out to be a Weight Watchers meal.  We got to talking about diets and she made WW sound very appealing. I think we will give it a try.
2021 Oct 4 (Mon) – We spent the day in the campground.  Ran out to get fuel for tomorrow’s trip.  I tried to buy a lottery ticket for the $600+ million jackpot but it turned out that Disney does not sell any lottery tickets anywhere in the park.
At 5:00 p.m. we caught the bus to EPCOT.  The sidewalks were empty walking in and there were not many people in the first park, Future World.  We rode the Nemo ride, peeked in the fish tanks, and took the Spaceship Earth ride (they updated it to include Steve Jobs’ invention of the personal computer). When we got to the World Showcase, it was so crowded.  It seemed people were everywhere!  The food and wine festival is going on now and we stopped at a couple of kiosks to try out their specialties.  Hawaii had a Spam hash.  It was mostly potatoes with a couple of pieces of Spam.  Kenya was way to spicey.  FW Alps was a Swiss cheese on ham with a piece of bread.  The cheese was melted into one big glob and the ham was very tough.
All in all, though, we enjoyed our tour of EPCOT. At 9:45 p.m. the fireworks came on and it was a very spectacular show!  There were laser lights, intense colors, and incredible fireworks.  We enjoyed it very much.  Again, there was trouble with the buses.  When we got to the station, there was a long line of children and strollers.  They filled up the bus.  We and another older couple decided to wait for the next bus.  It was almost an hour before the next bus arrived.  We got back to the campground near midnight.
2021 Oct 3 (Sun) – We went to Disney Springs with George & Linda. The balloon wasn’t going up today because of winds.  What an amazing number of shops and restaurants in that place!  We wandered around for a while.  Stopped in the House of Blues for drinks.  Had lunch at The Boathouse.  The food was good and very filling.
Tumblr media
We got back to the campground around 3:30 p.m.  Took naps.  Fed the animals.  Walked the dog.  At 8:30 p.m. we drove to George & Linda’s campsite, parked, and we all walked over to the boat dock.  We caught the boat to the Magic Kingdom intending to go over to watch the fireworks. The boat was held out in the water waiting to pull into the dock when the fireworks went off.  We watched the show all while on the boat.  When everyone else got off at the Magic Kingdom, we moved to the front of the boat and rode back to the campground.  It was perfect!
2021 Oct 2 (Sat) – We went to Hollywood Studios with George & Linda today.  We got to go on rides none of us had been on before – Millennium Falcon, Rise of the Resistance, and Mickey’s Runaway Railway.  We also rode the new cable car system (The Skyliner) from Hollywood Studios to the Riviera Resort and back.  George & Linda treated us to lunch at the Brown Derby restaurant.  We left the park around 3:30 p.m. and returned to the campground.
Tumblr media
During the day, Paul realized that his credit card was missing.  He changed pants this morning and thought maybe it was in the pocket of yesterday’s pants.  When we got back, he checked his pockets and found the card was not there.  So, I called the Rainforest Café where we had lunch yesterday and the last place he remembered using the card.  Sure enough, they had his credit card.  We got back on the bus and rode to the Animal Kingdom.  When we came out and got on line to wait for the bus, we were told Disney is experiencing a shortage of drivers.  The driver who was supposed to drive our bus back had driven 11 hours.  This is the limit a driver is allowed per day and he was not allowed to drive any more. In fact, we were told that all of Disney staff have been put on extended days because of the worker shortage.  A driver next to us going to the Wilderness Lodge offered to take us there and we could catch a shuttle from there to Fort Wilderness.  We turned the offer down and continued to wait on line for the bus to our destination.  A supervisor came by and said he found a driver in the bathroom and he would drive our bus.  Shortly after, the bus pulled up and we got back to the campground around 8:00 p.m. It was a long day.
2021 Oct 1 (Fri) – We had to wait almost 40 minutes for a bus this morning.  It is officially the birthday of Walt Disney World and two parks were sold out (EPCOT and Magic Kingdom) today – we suppose it was because there’s some kind of special celebration taking place in those parks.
We went to the Animal Kingdom.  The Mount Everest and the Dinosaur roller coasters were closed.  We went on the Navi’ River Ride and the River Rapids.  We got really soaked on the rapids ride.  Lunch was at the Rainforest Café.  That place is always interesting.  We strolled past some of the animal enclosures and took the Safari ride through the Serengeti.
Tumblr media
We returned to the campground at 2:30 p.m.  George & Linda sent us an email saying they would be arriving at the campground tonight and we made arrangements to have them come to our campsite for dinner.  Paul cooked a pork tenderloin on the grill.  I cooked rice and corn.  It was all very good and we enjoyed our visit.  We made arrangements to go to Hollywood Studio tomorrow.
2021 Sep 30 (Thu) – We went to EPCOT today. Since the park did not open until 11:00 am, we enjoyed a leisurely morning with showers and I paid bills before leaving.  We drove to the transportation station at the front of the campground, parked then caught the bus to EPCOT.  We got there early – at 10:00 am.
They are doing major changes and renovations at the park.  We walked quite a distance into the park with walls on both sides of the walk.  Some of our favorite rides/attractions are gone.  We got into the park one-half hour ahead of the regular attendees because we are resort guests.  We walked directly to Space 220 to see if we could get a walk-in.  We waited almost 2 hours and never got near the door.  There was a long line of people waiting on stand-by.  Turned out they did a media event yesterday and cancelled everyone’s reservations.  If they wanted them today, they got them.  So with the people who had already booked and the people who had been allowed to rebook, there were no available tables for anyone.  It was a bitter disappointment.
We walked over to The Land and rode Soaring then ate lunch in the café. Then it was a ride at the Test Track. That’s a great ride!  And there was a very short wait time.  I don’t know if it’s the pandemic or being off season, but I am enjoying the lesser number of people here in the park.
We left the park at 2:30 pm.  We waited too long on the line this morning and our backs were very sore.  We did not go back for the fireworks tonight.
2021 Sep 29 (Wed) – We went to the Magic Kingdom today.  The main street is decorated with pumpkins and orange banners.  Many of the campers at our campground also have Halloween decorations out.  Sadly, the Railroad is not running.
Tumblr media
We started on the left at Adventureland and stopped at the Tiki House show.  That’s one of the very first shows we saw when we first came to Disney World in 1973. We were so impressed with it that we named our next cat Tiki.  Next was a ride on the Pirates of the Caribbean.  Then we stopped for a quick snack and drink.  The park was not overly crowded and wait times were minimal.  We got to go on Big Thunder Mountain Run Away Train with a 10 minute wait.  The Haunted Mansion wasn’t even 5 minutes to wait.  The longest wait was at the 7 Dwarfs Mine Train where we waited 45 minutes. But we got to talking to another couple on the line so the time went quickly.  Plus the lines are strung out and you seem to keep moving so you don’t notice the wait.
Tumblr media
We went to Be My Guest Restaurant for lunch.  It was a price fixe meal.  The food was good but sooooo expensive - $62 per person PLUS tip.  Who pays $137 for a lunch???  The transportation system is a little aggravating. We have to catch the internal shuttle bus to a switch station.  Then we catch the bus to whatever park we want to go to.  We tried taking the boat rather than the bus.  It still took us an hour to get to the park.  We don’t want to drive the truck because parking is $25 a day.
We were at the Magic Kingdom until 2 pm, then we came back to the campground, walked the dog, took a nap, fed the animals, and returned to the park to watch the fireworks.  They were beautiful but apparently the last night for them.  Tomorrow marks the beginning of the Spectacular Show – still fireworks but somehow different.
2021 Sep 28 (Tue) – We packed up and left ACOE Ortona South Campground at 9:45 a.m.  The weather was clear and the traffic not too bad.  We got to Walt Disney World Fort Wilderness at 1:00 p.m.  We checked in, got our assigned campsite, and drove into the campground to find it.  When we arrived, we found another camper in the site.  I called and reported this and the agent said they would pass the information on.  WTH? We drove back to the front office where I went in to speak with someone.
After some finagling, we were assigned a new campsite.  We had to also ask for a list of the cable TV channels and a print out of days the parks are open early to Disney resort guests (we should have been given these when we checked in).  They did not have a print out of the early days and advised us to go online.  The list of cable TV channels they gave us does not match what you get on the TV. WDW has never been this bad.  They seem to be relying very heavily on digital information.
Tumblr media
After we got set up, we had a quick lunch then drove to Shades of Green – the Military resort.  We went to the ITT desk and bought two 5-day tickets to the parks.   We rode around a bit looking around the campground and stopped at the camp store to explore.  Then we came back to the campground and spent hours trying to access the website to find out about the parks.  We made reservations for each day (you have to make a reservation to get into one of the four parks) – Magic Kingdom on Wednesday, EPCOT on Thursday, Animal Kingdom on Friday, and Hollywood Studios on Saturday.  Friday, October 1st, has two parks closed or filled to capacity and not accepting any more reservations.  That’s the start of Disney’s 18 month celebration of their 50th anniversary.
They appear to have stopped the Fast Pass option.  They have something called a Virtual Queue but the website said that was suspended for now.  All parades and public venues are also suspended.  Paul was able to reserve lunch times at 3 parks.  We wanted to get into the new 220 Restaurant but it was booked solid.  We’ll try to do a walk-in when we’re in EPCOT.
2021 Sep 27 (Mon) – Paul puttered around the RV today.  I searched for campsites in PA and found 2 more available.  It was a real challenge to reserve them but I did it!  After lunch, we drove to Winn Dixie to pick up groceries and pet food. We don’t want to be running out of anything while we are in Disney.
2021 Sep 26 (Sun) – Paul surprised me this morning with an “executive decision.”  We are going to Disney World for a week!  Since our cruise Australia got cancelled and Hawaii is closed to tourists, we will celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary in Disney World.  They are also celebrating their 50th anniversary.  They are offering a really good deal for the campground and the military tickets are almost a third a price of the regular tickets. We tried to get information online but the Internet just wouldn’t cooperate today.  We couldn’t research anything.  I tried calling MWR but they are all closed on Sunday.  The 2020 military tickets expire today.  We will miss the special of a 6-day ticket at $51 a day.  The 2021 military ticket is only offering a 4 or 5-day ticket.  Too bad we found it so late.
We didn’t go out today.  We spent a frustrating day trying to get the Internet to work to research Disney tickets and caravan events.  There was a small light show in the distance tonight.  For the most part, he skies have cleared up and the stars are out.
2021 Sep 25 (Sat) – Spent most of the day in the camper working on a caravan for next year.  I made 20 reservations at a state park in Pennsylvania for the WWII Reenactment Weekend in Reading.  I still have to get 5 more campsites locked in.
At 1 p.m. we drove to the next town to Tractor Supply to pick up some items for Paul for maintenance of the camper.  He greased the wheels and did some cleaning and repairs around the camper.
We had another night of Mother Nature shows with heat lightning. This area is like a bowl and the clouds surround us and flash with lightning without any sound.  It’s ethereal.
2021 Sep 24 (Fri) – We tried to lay out plans for a caravan next year but got frustrated because the internet was so slow and all the campgrounds we called were already booked.  We decided to put that caravan off until 2023 and began looking at making plans for a shorter one next year.  Things weren’t going well with those plans either so we took a break.  We drove into town to WalMart and picked up a few things then stopped at the gas pumps to get some fuel.  Mother Nature put on another show of heat lightning tonight.  The area around us is open without tall buildings to interfere with the view.  It went on for hours.

2021 Sep 23 (Thu) – We packed up and left Pembroke Pines at 9:45 a.m.  I tried to get pictures of the gangs of lizards as we left but none of my pictures came out.  I couldn’t believe the number of lizards that roam about that campground!
We pulled into the ACOE Ortona South Campground in Moore Haven around noon.  We stayed here in February.  It is a lovely campground right on the Caloosahatchee Canal.  Right across the water from us is the lock that allows boaters to navigate the falls.  It looks like there is a 14’ difference.
The campsites are roomy with concrete pads, a picnic table and barbecue.  We have water and electric hookups with a dump station.  Because we have the Senior Pass, we only paid half price - $15 a night. There are 51 campsites and each as nice as the next.  Most sites are back-in but there are a couple of pull-thrus.
Tumblr media
At sunset, we watched hundreds of birds fly by and land in a field behind the campground.  It looks like some kind of bird sanctuary.  There was a fantastic show by Mother Nature.  Heat lightning lit up the clouds for over 2 hours.  There was no rain and low rumbling in the distance. It was great!
2021 Sep 22 (Wed) – It rained again today.  It’s rained and been mostly overcast almost every day. Yet they say the area has experienced less rain than usual.
Tumblr media
We did some laundry.  Then we drove into town to get some fuel.  Unfortunately, the first station was too crowded and the second was a lone pump standing on the side with no credit card slot.  Not only does Paul hate going inside to prepay for fuel, but we don’t get the 5% back with our credit card (it has to be used at the pump). Aggravated, we left and didn’t get any fuel.  We then stopped at Office Depot to get printer ink.  I have been getting notices that my reward points are going to expire at the end of the month.  I wound up only paying $0.66.  Lol. Last stop was at WalMart where we picked up a few groceries.
2021 Sep 21 (Tue) – Today is Kenny & Miranda’s wedding anniversary.  I sent them a note of congratulations.  We spent most of the day finishing up campground reservations.  We even got to schedule in stops at a few friends’ homes. It will be fun.
At 2 p.m. we ran out to PetSmart and picked up food for the animals. Later this afternoon we had a heavy downpour.  This campground has a bevy of lizards – big ones, little ones, and huge ones.  It’s amazing that there should be so many here.
Tumblr media
2021 Sep 19 (Sun) – It was a quiet day.  We stayed in the campground all day.  I put together a diet plan and we went shopping at Publix for groceries.  We start a diet tomorrow.
2021 Sep 18 (Sat) – We drove to Homestead today to tour the Coral Castle.  It is a mysterious area where a 5’ tall man from Latvia carved over 1,100 tons of coral in secret over a 28 year period of time.  He began his carvings in Coral Gables then moved the pieces to Homestead when he heard Route 1 was going to be built.  He bought property then sold part of it to the government so they could build the road.  Very clever. There was a 3 ton rock balanced on a rod that I was able to push with one hand.  The 26 year old man proposed to a 16 year old girl back home.  She initially said yes but then broke off the engagement the day before the wedding.  Broken hearted, he came to America but all his creations are wrapped around a Sweet 16 theme.  He never married.
Tumblr media
After the Coral Castle, we decided to go into Miami to the Bayfront Marketplace, rated #1 of more than 350 attractions in the town.  Unfortunately, we couldn’t find any parking (that big ass truck can be a pain in the ass sometimes) so we wound up just driving on. Stopped at a Latin American café to get some lunch then returned to the campground.
I finished up reviewing the cookbook.  We changed the front cover and proofed the recipes.  It is now in the publisher’s hands.
2021 Sep 17 (Fri) – We packed up and left the Florida Keys at 9:30 a.m.  It was a long drive along the one main road leading in and out of the Keys.  There were several bridges connecting the Keys to each other and a long stretch of nurseries and garden centers at the top of the Keys, all of them Cuban owned.  We continued along the east coast, up past Miami to the north, and camped in Pembroke Pines.  It is a Broward County park.  I’ll say one thing for Broward County – they have really nice parks.  There are tennis courts, racquetball courts, basketball courts, a concert center, a water park, a walking/biking trail, etc. with lots of trees and open grassy areas.
Tumblr media
We set up and made lunch.  At 2:00 p.m. we drove to the AMC theater across the street and watched the new Clint Eastwood movie, “Cry Macho.”  It was not Eastwood’s usual good works.  The story was slow and plodding.  I don’t think the main characters were adequately fleshed out.
After the movie, we went to Olive Garden for salad and soup.  When we came out, we saw that it had rained. The sky was still overcast and threatening.  Shortly after we got back to the campground, the sky opened up and it poured hard for an hour.
2021 Sep 16 (Thu) – We met Tim at the Dolphin Research Center in Marathon.  It was pretty interesting.  They have several lagoons with the dolphins divided into categories similar to the way they live in the wild.  There is a maternity pool, a youth pool, and a bachelor pool.  We watched while they ran the dolphins through their paces. There are a total of 25 at the center. Three came from an aquarium in Massachusetts that was going to redo their dolphin exhibit and asked the Research Center to hold the dolphins while they did it.  Then they decided they didn’t want any dolphins and asked the center to take them permanently, which they did.
Tumblr media
After the visit to the Research Center, we went to lunch at the Big Mouth Eatery, a sandwich shop.  The sandwiches were expensive – 3 sandwiches, 3 drinks, a cucumber & tomato side salad, and a bag of chips were $40.  And I didn’t think my sandwich was that good either!
When we were done eating, we drove to Tim’s favorite bar, the Dockside. We each had a margarita and visited for an hour.  Tim really didn’t want to see us go.  Now he has to deal with the fact that he is alone.  It must be scary for him.  We said goodbye and left.  When we got back to the lodge, there were two more trailers in the campground.  There is a wedding taking place tomorrow and apparently the guests are all staying in campers.  And they appear to all be rentals.  Guess it’s cheaper than staying in a hotel.
2021 Sep 15 (Wed) – Tim came over about 10 this morning.  We showed him the memory book we put together for the NY caravan as well as other books from other caravans.  Then we watched the video Paul put together for the Utah caravan.  At noon, we left to drive to Key Largo for a ride on a glass bottom boat.  We stopped at a pizzeria for a quick lunch. Unfortunately, we are down south and they weren’t as fast as we needed them to be.  We wound up taking our pizza slices with us to the boat and chowing down quickly before boarding.
The boat left at 1 p.m.  Masks were required downstairs in the viewing room so we went topside and rode out to the Molasses Reef up there.  The weather was perfect.  Nice and cool with a balmy breeze.  When we got to the reef, a member of the crew narrated the story of the reef and described what we were seeing.  The reef had very little color to it.  There were not a lot of fish and what was there was also bland in color.  We caught sight of a nurse shark and several brown colored jelly fish.  A barracuda rode under the boat.  The narrator said it used the boat to camouflage itself while hunting.  I didn’t like her.  She was very preachy, almost berating the passengers for things that have happened to the sea.  The temperature is high – 86 on the ocean and 96 in the Gulf.  The higher temperature is affecting the reef and sealife. People throwing garbage in the ocean is leaving plastic that breaks down into micro pieces that fish consume.
Tumblr media
We all came back to the Lodge and went in for dinner and drinks.  At 6:30 and 7:30, they had a drawing for the Queen of Hearts.  Nobody won and the pot rose to $8,427.
2021 Sep 14 (Tue) – It was a quiet day.  It rained off and on this morning.  We didn’t go anywhere.  At sunset, the clouds promised to give quite a show and we walked down to the water to watch.  The clouds didn’t cooperate and we didn’t get the show we wanted.  There were little gnats stinging us.  It was terrible!  You couldn’t see them but you could certainly feel them.  After about 15 minutes when it became clear that we weren’t going to get the colors it looked like it was going to do, we retreated back inside the camper.
2021 Sep 13 (Mon) – We drove to Skipjack’s Resort this morning to meet Tim, Sue, Greg & Chris for breakfast.  We visited for an hour and a half, then they left for home and the airport.
Tumblr media
After bidding everyone safe travels, we stopped at Anne’s Beach Park on the walk back home and took a stroll along the boardwalk.  There were cabanas along the way and stairs where you could walk down to the beach.  There were loads of sand crabs and hermit crabs scrabbling around in the sand.  It was fun trying to get pictures of them.
Tumblr media
We did laundry this afternoon.  At 4:30 p.m. we drove to Lorelei Cabana to meet Tim for dinner.  The sky was threatening so we sat undercover.  Lorelei’s has most seating out on a deck overlooking the Florida Bay.  We caught a seat under the overhanging eave.  I had fried shrimp, Paul had red snapper, and Tim had a burger.  The food and drinks were good.
2021 Sep 12 (Sun) – Tim had a Celebration of Life service for Joe today.  We drove to meet him, Greg, Chris, Susan, and George & Linda at the Marathon Community Church.   About 6 or 7 people showed up to join us.  Tim had pictures up of Joe when he was young and pictures of the last few years.  He also had 2 pictures of his other son, Chris, who died last year.  It was so sad.  The minister was a very short woman – not a dwarf, not a midget, but still only about 3’ tall.  The sky opened up and it poured hard throughout the service, stopping when everything was over.
Tumblr media
After the service, we all went to the Steak & Lobster for a late lunch/early dinner.  Susan passed her phone around and we all recorded a video for her daughter, Shay, back home. The menu had way too many options to choose from.
Next stop was to Tim’s boat where he was planning to put Joe’s ashes in the gulf.  Paul drove back to the camper to walk Bonnie and feed the animals.  Since the drive there and back is one and a half hours total, we went out without him.  A co-worker of Joe’s, Jimmie, also rode out with us.  He had the strongest Irish brogue.  So much so, you couldn’t understand anything he said.
We motored about 20 minutes when someone asked Tim if he brought Joe’s ashes.  With a great expletive, he whipped the boat around and returned to the dock to get them. Back on the boat again, we motored out to the Gulf of Mexico.  It was very choppy with 2’-3’ swells.  When we got to the designated spot, Tim made a brief speech then dropped half the ashes over the side.  He will take the remaining ashes to Massachusetts some day.  Tim constructed a unique water cross on a buoy.  He had Joe’s name, date of birth, and date of death on one side and Chris’ on the other side.  It was a very unique looking piece.
George had brought some large mortar fireworks and we shot them off. Tim had a great time blowing them off and we were glad to distract him for a while.  Once we were done with everything, the water calmed down.  It was probably Joe saying goodbye in his own way during the service at the church and on the water.  Paul had driven back to the Sunset Grill at the foot of the 7 Mile Bridge and said he couldn’t see the boat but he was able to see the fireworks we set off.
Tumblr media
2021 Sep 11 (Sat) – We pulled up stakes at 10 a.m. and headed out to the Florida Keys, arriving at the Elks Lodge in Tavernier at noon.  We had a little trouble maneuvering into our campsite – it’s on a grass surface with no markings – but we finally got it. The lodge was closed until 3 p.m.
Tumblr media
After set up, we texted with Tim and my cousin, George, who arrived at his campground last night.  With a bit of three-way coordination, we finally agreed to meet at the Seven Mile Grill. It is a small dive at the foot of the 7 Mile Bridge.  Lunch was good (although we had already grabbed a bite to eat back at the camper).  When we were done, Tim invited everyone back to his favorite haunt, the Dockside Inn.
We drove back to the Dockside and had drinks, then sat and visited until 5:30 p.m. We had to get back to the camper to feed the animals. It was a 45 minute drive back to the lodge.  The memorial service for Tim’s son, Joe, is set for tomorrow at 2:00 p.m.  We will go early to help him set things up.
2021 Sep 10 (Fri) – We left Mims at 9:15 a.m. and drove 190 miles to Sunrise.  We are staying at a county park – Markham Park Campground.  This is quite a county park.  They have a shooting range, very large dog parks, fishing, boat ramp, well-manicured lawns, and loads of other amenities.   The first site they gave us was too tight.  There are six camping areas arranged in a wheel.  In the center of the wheel, they have several palm trees planted.  Between negotiating around the palm trees in the center of the wheel and the overgrown trees abutting the campsite, we just couldn’t get in.  I called the office and was given another campsite.
Tumblr media
After set up, we went into town to get some DEF for the truck.  We also picked up some groceries and fueled the truck for tomorrow’s trip.  We then stopped at Cheesecake Factory for dinner.  The waitress seemed spacey.  She would rush in, ask a question, and rush off before hearing the answer.  My salad was scrumptious.  Paul thought he was ordering a light lunch but got a full salad, a big bowl of chowder, and a good sized flatbread pizza.  We took leftovers home.
We are waiting for a good rainstorm to check for leaks.  It turned out that the leak we had was from two screws that had backed out of the strip holding the roof on.  Paul popped the cover strip and examined all the screws. He reinserted the screws with some spackle to hold them in.  Now we just have to see what happens during the next rainstorm.
Tumblr media
2021 Sep 9 (Thu) – We left Brunswick, GA at 9:30 a.m.  It rained a little during our drive but, otherwise, was uneventful.  We arrived at Crystal Lake RV Resort at 1 p.m.  The campground is behind a BP gas station and you have to drive around the back to get in.  The sites are tight and the roads narrow.  There is a small lake where they boast large bass.  It rained here last night and the ground is soaked with lots of puddles and deep treads in the grass.  We have full hookups on a grass surface.  There is a pool and a dog park in the campground.
Tumblr media
After set up, we grabbed the packages we made up to mail out to our caravan participants.  Each pack has the memory book, a DVD and a thumb drive with a video of the caravan. I also mailed off the treasurer’s books to SMART HQ along with some other things.  We also sent the caravan jackets to the two couples who cancelled out of the caravan at the last minute.
Next stop was at Dixie Crossroads Seafood Restaurant for lunch. All of their food was too spicy for me and their margarita was bitter.  Paul seemed to enjoy his meal just fine.

I had never applied for car insurance, but was wondering how much money my policy would afford me in case of an accident. I had just purchased before an accident and was driving at a high speed because of an accident I’ll be reporting and looking at the report on the dashboard. I did this just moments ago because I just saw the email on my computer. The email I sent to the agent is a form letter that I haven t received yet. I know how difficult it is to get some kind of compensation, and so my insurance premium is $955 from what I’ve paid in for the policy as it is. Find Travel Bargains by Thinking Outside of the Travel Box
Tumblr media
There are a number of deals in travel for the individual who knows where to look and how to take advantage of existing programs. Of course, I'm not talking about taking a winter vacation to Galveston Texas and spending your weekend in a cardboard box on the beach. I'm also not referring to a tree house on the shores of Lake Michigan in the dead of winter.
Where Do You Search For Travel Bargains?
Only a few decades ago, travel shoppers could visit their regional travel agency to find discount travel providers and discount travel packages.
Lots of individuals have known for many years that in case you get a plane ticket from the airline business, then odds are solid you will always pay full price for this ticket. However, the ordinary travel agency can get that exact same plane fair at a reduction - in essence so the travel agency can benefit from the gap, but a lot of travel agencies will pass those savings to the customer.
Travel agencies also provide another benefit to customers because they have the capability to check at airline fares from several different airlines. Often it can be a lot cheaper to fly to Chicago and change planes to catch another flight to New York City, than it is to take the direct route to NYC. Travel agencies have the capacity to see those reductions that others won't see.
Discount travel packages are usually available by grouping a set of individuals into precisely the identical vacation plan. The retired and elderly most commonly benefit from this option, but they're not the only ones. From Las Vegas, folks will join together to fill a bus for the ride to Hoover Dam or the Grand Canyon. All around the nation, people will board a bus and ride it to a casino closer to home. Tour groups frequently catch a flight to Europe and discuss a bus excursion tour around Europe.
By getting three-dozen distant strangers to share the expenses of a specific tour program, travel prices can be reduced. Costs are reduced because the tour can be priced based on the actual costs of the travel, instead of the inflated prices designed into a bundle to cover the empty seats. But, you might not want to construct your next holiday around the rigorous schedule designed by the tour operator?
What Should You Don't Need to Talk about Your Vacation?
The fact remains that there are loads of travel savings available for men and women that are somewhat more independent than the men and women who fulfill tour buses.
To pose the question as to where to have actual travel savings, lots of people in this age and day turn to the Internet travel companies for travel discounts.
The travel businesses are in a grand marketing struggle, fighting for your business. Expedia, Travelocity, Yahoo Travel, Travel.com, Orbitz, Priceline and many others are fighting for your travel dollars. But, who really provides the best travel deals?
People have lots of opinions about who has the best travel deals available online. If you listen to William Shatner, you'd look no farther than Priceline for those travel deals. However, I am here to tell you that in case you want the actual travel deals, do not stop at Priceline.
Big Dollar Advertising Requires Big Dollar Revenue Markups
Consider this. In order for Expedia, Travelocity, Yahoo Travel, Travel.com, Orbitz, and Priceline to be household names, they must spend millions on advertising to place their names into your subconscious mind.
How much of your travel package cost will be used to market their services to another person? To put it differently, how much are you overpaying for traveling, to be able to understand who these companies are?
If you know what to look for and where to look, you will find travel packages which are not as expensive than you can get with a tour operator or the top six travel companies shown above - and you won't need to talk about your trip with three dozen people you do not even know and probably won't like.
To prove my point, allow me to give you a couple examples.
On the Pacific side of Baja California Sur, in the town of Cabo San Lucas, Las Cabos, Mexico, There's a 5-Star Resort known as Hacienda del Mar Vacation Club. At this hotel, you can find a one-bedroom condo for 2 days and 7 days, and you can spend your days and nights overlooking the Pacific Ocean. At Priceline, this bundle will cost $2088.38. At Travelocity, this identical package will cost $1976.59. If you know where to shop, you can find the identical one-bedroom condo for 2 days and 7 days, for a mere $645.
Located on 600 acres in the greater San Diego, California region, Welk Resort San Diego offers exceptional accommodations in the kind of vacation rentals with many different amenities and hotel activities. You can find a one-bedroom villa package at the most complete hotel setting, which gives you a golf course and a personal theater. For an 8-day, 7-night bundle at Welk Resort, Expedia will cost $2064.43; Orbitz will cost you $2236.40, and Travelocity costs $2063. If you know where to shop, you can find this package for as little as $298.
In Conclusion
There's a little known secret that could literally save thousands of dollars on your next holiday, perhaps even measure up the value you get in exchange for your holiday dollars.
Work From Home in the Home Based Travel Business
There are basically 3 types of travel home based business opportunities.
1. Becoming a certified travel agent. 2. Marketing and Renting promotional vacation certificates. 3. Marketing travel membership clubs.
1. Becoming a travel agent requires licensing. You may book travel under the umbrella of a registered travel business using their travel agency IATAN number. After a certain quantity of sales and commissions earned you may apply for your IATA number. As a travel agent you can reserve your customers' travel using travel consolidators and marking up the cost to make a commission. Travel agents need to be bonded and licensed. Some hotel chains need the travel agent to complete their own travel brokers exam online so as to claim travel agent benefits. Becoming a home based travel agent is now a sought after home based business within the travel arena. Some members don't have the capability to use travel consolidators and may only use their own replicated travel portals sites to book travel. The commissions here are extremely low and the primary income comes from recruiting other members. Other travel agencies instruct the members to become fully fledged travel agents, where possibly the commissions on bookings can be a lot higher.
2. The certificates could be resold to businesses or businesses but generally can't be offered to the end user. Promotional items have become a part of the marketing arena and create consumer loyalty. If the promoter sells the certification to the end user a permit is required in most states and provinces in Canada. Everyone loves a fantastic bargain but many certifications have black out dates and need the spouse or partner to travel with the individual registering the certificate. Some certificates need a timeshare presentation. As a work at home business, the promotional certifications generally generate smaller commissions.
3. Some even provide concierge customer service, have access to huge databases of hotel vacations, cruises, flights, car rentals and much more. Some home based travel businesses have the additional bonus of earning money on travel booked from business portal sites. So as to resell traveling, the home based travel business must be a certified reseller of travel and should have their license number visible on their site. These discount travel memberships are popular not just as a means to make money from home for many thousands of members, but can also be popular as a real way to get deeply discounted rates for the educated and frequent traveler. The commissions on travel memberships can be extremely large, many businesses offering direct sales bonuses of over 50%.
Unlike other home based businesses and work at home opportunities, the travel business provides a product with market recognition. Everyone knows what a holiday is and what a cruise may entail. Traveling is a $7Trillion business and is still a growing market with no signs of losing steam. Additionally it is packaged as a fun market. When requested, a dream holiday is among the most desired items atop a wish list.

Friday, March 29, 2019
Because of time change I awaken three hours before anyone else.  Falling back asleep, terrible dreams.
A visit to the Strip.  A new football stadium is being built to accommodate the Raiders (much to the sorrow and rage of the fans in Oakland).  N. says there will be many new bars opening to accommodate the fans.
Those vast empty lots in the suburbs.  Signs indicating (I have written about this elsewhere) that new condos will appear where there is presently only dirt and rocks.  "Get in on the ground floor!"
There are "Las Vegas Strong" bumper stickers.  Ah, the shooting.  The bump stock shooting, bullets raining on concert goers.  There is still belief, I am told, that there was more than one shooter.  But...huge billboards announce a coming Gun Show.
Saturday, March 30, 2019
Trip to Lake Mead.  Everything looks so unfamiliar...then realize by following the signs we are on the newish Interstate. Returning we take the older route and go through Bolder City.  Huge signs: "SALE...Fifty Percent Off!"   The alternate route will kill off their businesses (much of which I the sale of Native American gewgaws).  It is already happening.
Sunday, March 31, 2019
A trip to the old part of the city.  What was Freemont Street, if I have this correctly, is now a vast pedestrian mall.  There is zip lining for those brave enough to try it.  Zip liners lie in prone contraptions and speed high overhead.  It is like watching bats in flight.  A couple of small stages have been set up  for four piece rock bands (with the sound cranked up to teeth rattling volume).  Kids playing for whatever ends up in the tip jar.  (We think back on the days, before all of the shows went to tape, that Vegas had quality music and top line musicians.)  Some of the old funkiness remains. As we are about to leave we see an Elvis impersonator, in full black drag, climbing out of his car, beginning his shift.

The real Property Warfare On The West Coast That鈥檚 Tearing Vancouver Neighbourhoods Apart
In this fashion the federal government socialized housing making it potential for everyone that wanted one to at the very least buy a condo. My job is to assist my purchasers purchase and sell Vancouver Real Estate. Instead of telling you what properties promote for now, it tells you what they averaged over time. We hear tales of properties with 1000:1 value-(monthly) rent in components of Larger Vancouver. 36.2 million property has set a new actual property file for North Vancouver. Vancouver鈥檚 actual property board is the home of the original Frankenumber, the MLSLink庐 Housing Value Index (HPI) composite benchmark price, blatantly meant to easy out peaks and valleys, giving the impression of an eternally stable market. To allow them to typically point out small things that can make a difference. We are here to make your property shopping for expertise one to recollect! He says his residence is in a popular neighbourhood, 鈥渟hows well鈥?in actual estate jargon and garners compliments from everyone who walks within the door.
You don't want the potential buyer to wonder about the individuals who live within the home. It stands to motive that you simply is not going to want to move someplace-- no matter how many sunny days they experience in a year-- if they don't have first rate, efficient, accessible well being care sources. Sure, these will show you how to even when you prepare in one of the "extremely-posh" gyms around the globe. China's sudden prominence, based on this view, will cut back the clout of America, Europe and different rich democracies within the developing world. Though the whole world is curious about investing in Canada, and funding has risen significantly over latest years, it is the Chinese language investment within the country that has really turned heads. Unfortunately on this nation the most recent financial disaster has brought about many firms to not only decrease or cease their employer matches utterly, but in addition terminations of outlined contribution plans are on the rise. In the US, the sub prime mortgage crisis has slashed prices in many desirable communities as a flood of houses come onto the market. Nevertheless, rising oil and gasoline costs and predictions for extra, Texas could also be your hottest state going by way of the summer. However, it doesn鈥檛 indicate that they should not rejoice a Monthsary.
Salt Lake Metropolis, Denver, Tampa, Dallas, Cape Coral/Naples, Charlotte, Las Vegas, Houston, San Diego, and Grand Rapids have great employment outlooks. At the least, it鈥檚 unthinkable for some that booming markets in Los Angeles, San Fransisco, Sacramento, San Jose, Seattle, Denver, Las Vegas, Dallas, Charlotte, Boston and Miami may probably collapse. They are often full of conflict, misperceptions, and plain old rudeness. In consequence, you can use it as a hyperlink to different pages of the identical webpage or maybe other websites. A lush mattress of grass additionally assists in maintaining the whole structure from eroding and plants operate exactly the same method. Phishing began about the identical time, or shortly thereafter. More owners than renters: Two-thirds (65%) own their present residences - fifty four per cent of that are detached homes - but a quarter (26%) are renters, and nearly two-in-five of these (38%) are content material to keep renting indefinitely. While you pony up the dough, they steal your bank card quantity, after which load the "virus cure" which is extra malware. Purchasing and eating places are nearly at your doorstep! A credible hair salon in Albuquerque would certainly have a good social media presence and online critiques are one thing that you possibly can belief.
New-house costs have gained 5 per cent since March, the most important three-month increase since 1990, knowledge launched earlier this month show. Despite this, the charges of listings haven't eased. A lot of the Keurig machines are restricted to a 10 oz or less cup dimension. There are many assist wanted signs up in numerous retail areas. Many of the homes in Hastings are positioned close to speciality companies, galleries and espresso retailers good for working adults and young adults. Remax Fairness Group is the main real estate firm working in Portland OR Houses for sale and Vancouver WA Houses for sale. Is Vancouver in an actual Property Bubble? An in-depth clarification of the duties and obligations a real estate agent owes -- and that the client should expect -- depending on the actual "company" relationship he has with that shopper. At all times inquire your revenue agent to demonstrate you the unit space inside of the total floor strategy. Second is that oversupply this time round might all but guarantee a return to fundamentals. CREA鈥檚 Chief Economist, Gregory Klump, likens this forecasted price decline as the equal of eradicating the basketball staff from a Grade eight class. The surprise announcement came the morning of June 21. The federal government minimize the utmost size of an insured mortgage back to 25 years, effectively ending much of the experimentation of the previous six years.

Find Travel Bargains by Thinking Outside the Travel Box
Tumblr media
There are lots of bargains in traveling for the man or woman who knows where to shop and how to take advantage of existing apps. Naturally, I am talking about taking a winter vacation to Galveston Texas and also spending your weekend in a cardboard box to the shore. I am also talking about a tree dwelling to the shores of Lake Michigan in the dead winter.
Only a few decades past, traveling shoppers would go to their own community travel service to get discount travel services and discount travel packages.
Many others have known for a long time that in case you purchase a plane ticket by the airline organization, then odds are solid you will always pay full price for this ticket. Nevertheless, the normal travel agency may acquire that identical airplane fair in a reduction - in nature so that the travel service can benefit from the difference, but many travel bureaus may pass those savings to the consumer.
Travel agencies also offer additional benefit to consumers in that they have the capacity to consider air line bookings from many of different airlines. Usually it could be far cheaper to fly into Chicago and shift airplanes to catch a second flight to New York City, than it would be to take the direct approach to NYC. Travel agencies have the capacity to observe those discounts which others won't see.
Discount travel packages are usually available by group a group of people in to exactly the exact same vacation plan. The retired and elderly most commonly benefit from this program, however they're not the only ones. By Las Vegas, people will join together to fill out a bus to the ride into Hoover Dam or the Grand Canyon. All round the nation, people will pursue a bus and ride it to your casino closer to the home. Tour classes often grab a trip to Europe and talk about a bus trip tour around Europe.
By getting three-dozen distant strangers to share the expenses of a particular tour program, traveling costs can definitively be lowered. Costs are lower as the excursion can be priced in line with the real expenses of their travel, rather than the inflated charges designed to a package to pay for the empty seats. However, you might not want to construct your upcoming vacation round the strict schedule designed by the tour operator?
What If You Don't Want To Share Your Vacation?
The truth is that there are a great deal of traveling savings on the market for people who are a bit more independent than the individuals who fulfill excursion buses.
To pose the question again as to where to acquire actual travel savings, many people in this age and day turn to the Internet travel businesses for traveling discounts.
The travel organizations are at a grand advertising struggle, fighting your company. However those who really offers the best travel deals?
People have lots of opinions concerning who has got the best travel deals available online. If you listen to William Shatner, you'd look no farther than Priceline for all those travel deals. However, I am here to let you know that if you want the real traveling deals, don't stop at Priceline.
Big Dollar Advertising Requires Big Dollar Sales Markups
Consider this.
How much of one's trip package cost will be utilised to sell their services into the next individual? In other words, just how far are you overpaying for travel, in order to understand who these organizations are?
Cheaper Travel Can Be Found When You Escape The Beaten Path
For those who know the best way things to find and where you can look, you'll find travel packages which are not as expensive than it is possible to get with a tour operator or at the top six travel companies displayed above - and you will not have to talk about your trip using three dozen people that you don't even know and probably won't enjoy.
To prove my point, let me provide you with two or three examples.
About the Pacific side of Baja California Sur, at town of Cabo San Lucas, Las Cabos, Mexico, There's a 5-Star Resort called Hacienda del Mar Vacation Club. At this resort, you're able to find a one-bedroom condo for 2 days and 7 nights, also you'll be able to spend your days and nights overlooking the Pacific Ocean. At Priceline, this package can probably cost $2088.38. In Travelocity, this same package will probably cost $1976.59. For those who know where to shop, you will find the exact one-bedroom condo for 8 days and 7 nights, for a mere $645.
Located on 600 acres at the greater San Diego, California area, Welk Resort San Diego provides exceptional accommodations in the kind of vacation rentals with a variety of comforts and resort activities. It is possible to find yourself a one-bedroom villa package at probably the most complete resort setting, which gives a course and a private theater. Knowing the best place to search, you could possibly find this package for less than $298.
There's a little known trick that can literally save tens of thousands of dollars in your next holiday, but perhaps even measure up the value you get in exchange for the holiday dollars.
