That is also why I didn’t include everyone’s Pokemon, (including Jezz’s). I also didn’t include characters that died before The Journal: Jezz takes place. I won’t list them for spoiler reasons.

They're just one of few of them..not sure if I'll draw any of them, I drew them because..I'm bored

I have a grumpsona in mind..but I'm not finish with it's design

I guess I'll explain them

Amly Ductforce(I'm bad at names) came to Snaktooth island because they were bored and needed a vacation from their "job"

He's gender-fluid and doesn't mind people getting his pronouns wrong when he doesn't feel that gender, but some just call him a "They" and that's fine by him

One thing that she's really good at, is lying and stealing. When she came to Snaktooth Island, she started her hobby right away and stole some things from Wambus which got him pretty upset

He gives everyone nicknames despite not liking anyone besides Cromdo

She likes order yet enjoys chaos, sometimes, she would plant random objects that belong to the residents in each other's huts to start up something

When the town split, he went to the Boiling Bay due to the nice warm yet cold feel to it and because she wanted to steal stuff from Floofty

They're probably in their late 40s early 50s

Her and Cromdo get along for the most part as long as she doesn't steal anything from him

In their hut, they have a lot of stolen objects, most from Wambus

Their hut is beside Liz and Egg's hut but is to the right of the beach

If he was in the game, then you'd meet them the same time you meet Floofty

She doesn't like Lizbert because she always calls her out on the stuff she steals, same for Beffica

Due to his hatred to Lizbert, he shares the same hatred towards Eggabell but doesn't go out his way to steal from her, seeing her as too fragile

He's scared of Chandlo(because he would snap her like a twig), Shelda(because she acts like a cult leader), and Gramble(because he's too nice)

If they get caught stealing, they lie about it and theres a 90% chance it'll work due to their confident sounding voice and being a bit manipulative

"She's just a thief, no wonder her and Cromdo work so well together, they're nothing but squeebs."

"She stole my banjo and said she wanted to play a song, but then she threw it off a cliff! I'm so glad I have fast reflexives."

Snorpy:

"All they do is steal stuff! Then lie about stealing that stuff! I haven't gotten my inventions back in 3 months!"

Cromdo:

"Ah..that grump is something all right..greatest business partner ever, she and I are gonna rule the money world!"

Triffany:

"Oh..Amly? I don't come in contact with her often but Wamby doesn't like her."

Chandlo:

"After they stole my balls AND Snorpy's inventions, I promised to never speak to them for the rest of my life bro!"

Floofty:

"I don't appreciate them stealing my leg or my notes. If given the chance, I would experiment on them."

Shelda:

"Do not speak of thy name who gladly would turn his back on us if given the chance!"

"Nope. I don't like her at all..she's not that attractive..and she hangs with Cromdo."

"I really don't like it when she tries to remove my arm..it hurts my feelings.."

"I like stealing their stuff but if I offered to help them, I think they'll kill me."

"Now THAT was a refreshing beveridge, thanks doll!"

"So, ya want me to come back to town? Well, I might need some convincing, I want ya to find out what that Filbo kid does when nobody's lookin, I could use it for..things."

"HA! Are you serious?! Oh jezz, and I thought he couldn't be more of a squeeb! HAHA! Goodness..that's a laugh I needed..ha!"

"Good to know theres some things to see in town, but I'm more interested in WHAT is in town."

"For ya final task, I want ya to steal Beffica's diary..then rip out some pages that are interesting, and give them to me. Easy."

*You grab the pages*

"Sweet! Good job my messenger grump!"

"*sigh*, I think I'm ready to go to town..but..first I want you to get Cromy in town."

"Get Cromy in town and I'll follow right behind, deal?"

"Wow! That was..slow but it'll do!"

"Interview? That sounds fun! I'm in."

"Amly Ductforce, it's pronounced Aim-ly. Strange. I know."

Why come to Snaktooth Island?

"I heard of Lizzie's stupid conspiracy on TV, I was about to change the channel when I heard there was an island involved, and I just so happened to be looking for a place to host my vacation. So I packed up and lied about being interested in her expedition."

Vacation from what?

"My life. My job. My family. Everything basically."

Thoughts on Bugsnax?

"I guess they're ok, the names could be better..but some taste pretty good. Note, keep away from the Aggroll."

Why?

"Because those things will break some bones and the flavor isn't even worth it! Also because it's named after someone I'm not found of."

Why did you leave town?

"I could handle the drama between Wamby and Gram, but once Cromy left, I had no reason to stay. I wanted to follow him, but I decided to live near the beach instead, so yeah."

What do you think about Cromdo?

"Me and him have a pretty decent relationship, I give him what he wants and he takes the fall for me. Simple business."

Are you planning on betraying him?

"No way, he's cool, I don't consider him a friend, but he's still great to work with."

Any info on Lizbert?

"Liz..I grumping hate her! She keeps saying I stole stuff from her, I would never do such a thing! If she didn't have that little obstacle beside her, I would burn her hut down!"

Woah, calm down. Who's this obstacle?

"I am calm..just speaking out my mind. And I'm talking about Eggabell. The doctor? Lizzie's girlfriend? Eggy bell? Yeah. She and her are like..two papers in a file. Theres nothing you can do to separate those two."

What happened to Lizbert?

"If we're being honest, I'm not sure."

Are you lying?

"Heh. For once in my life, no. I really don't know what happened to Lizzie, she went up that mountain and didn't come back."

How do you know she went up the mountain?

"I saw her."

Why didn't you tell anyone?

"I did. Nobody besides Cromy believed me, guess that's the price being the best liar in the world."

AHHH KINDA IMPORTANT MESSAGE!!!!

I’ve posted about my fanfiction ‘The Journal: I am Jezz’ on here before, usually providing a link. If you liked/reblogged/have any interest in this fic, do me a favor and don’t read or reread it until I have some major edits done to it. Basically, I’m telling people to NOT read my fic. (Not yet, anyway). I want to make it the best version I can. I am shortening it by erasing fillers words/ unnecessary info. I’ve fixed up to chapter 4 and I already deleted about 3,000 unnecessary words. I also fixed dialogue tags, used better (more accurate) vocab, reworded stuff, and put slightly more emphasis on the foreshadowing. My fic is almost done. Updates are several times a month. It’s long but after edits, it will be shorter. The ending is already written. Almost there!

I want to add that because my beta is only a part-time unpaid worker, I would love constructive criticism, WORDED KINDLY WITH NO COPYPASTA. 

I have already been told to:

use more canon characters

use fewer italics

don’t center text

reduce fic size

work on tenses

less infodump

edit title (now it’s called The Journal: Jezz)

I’ve been working hard to do all of this for y’all. It’s far from perfect but it’s better than it was before. 

Most if not all of the edits will be finished by mid-summer 2018. Please follow, like, do whatever if you are interested and please revisit in July.

I have been looking for volunteers to read my story which is titled The Journal: I am Jezz.

I began writing this story over a year ago, though I can say it’s been years in the making. The official summary I have written for it is very vague and short and I feel as though it doesn’t’ capture what the story represents or what the contents are about.  

 It’s a Pokémon fanfiction, though the Pokémon themselves are not the focus of the story, rather the focus of the story is one these human characters that live in the Pokémon world and this story is about some of the misadventures these people have.

 This story takes place in the future—dates are specified within the contents.

 The protagonist is named Jezz. He is the son of a person who is a personal enemy of Jessie and James ‘Morgan’ of Team Rocket. His mother is in prison when she gives birth to him, so he ends up being raised in various homes but spends most of his time in this strict academy that shapes his disposition quite significantly.

 Jezz keeps a journal of his unique experiences and some of the major events in his life starting from when he is about six years old until the present. In the present, he is in his early twenties and is reflecting on all of this as he works on publishing the journal contents into a book for others to read.

 The reason he does all of this is because some of his famous friends encourage him to do so. He talks a lot about who these famous people are and how they have helped him, both in the past and in the present.

 Jezz is a preteen when he meets the children of Jessie and James, Ash and Misty, Cilan and Iris, Brock and Autumn, and several other canon characters from the Pokémon anime and games. This happens at the Indigo Plateau by coincidence. Jessie and James’ son Jay is attracted Jezz and his quirkiness and invites him to spend time with their family. As Jezz spends time with them, he opens more about some secrets he has been keeping, even though overall, he knows little about his origins.

 A spy/friend of the Morgan family helps him find his roots. His friends help him confront them. That is the crux of the journal’s contents.

 In the present day, which I refer to as the ‘main storyline’, adult Jezz grapples with these issues as well as new challenges and catastrophic events that occur while he is amid transcribing his journal’s contents into a memoir. He had maintained and strengthened the relationships he formed as a preteen and uses them to keep himself together.

 The story has a lot of LGBT themes which I don’t boast about in the summary I have posted on fanfiction.net even though a lot of it is directly relevant to what I am writing. I have major characters who are transgender, gay, asexual, bisexual, pansexual, aromantic, and/or questioning. I am a feminist so I don’t default to gender norms either. I think that this has prevented some people from reading my stories, though my point is not to preach but rather to help represent a community of which I am a part.

 I also try my best to present healthy relationships alongside toxic ones because I do not agree with abusive ships.

 I am a new writer, but  I have focused a lot on making this readable and semi-professional, so while I certain that I have made some mistakes, I also know that I have improved a lot since my first story, “Stand by You”, which I have posted about on this site before.

 I want feedback because:

1.  I crave attention because I worked hard on making this and I am human.

2. I have positive messages and awesome characters that are often missing from fanfics and I want people to know that not all fanfiction has to be straight, abusive,     violent, or rated M to be enjoyable. While I have come across fics that do not do these things and are still great, I feel they are greatly outnumbered by lemons and abusive ships.

3. I want to know what I should do in order to improve my writing skills.

4.  I want to boost the Rocketshipping and Pokeshipping communities because I love these characters/ships and I want to support them.

 Even one review letting me know what I am doing right and what I am doing wrong will help. I am also open to reading other peoples’ stories, so if you send me a PM on either this website or to my fanfiction.net account ‘chipotlepeppers’, I will 100% read and leave at least one review, though I usually write more than one review if the story has multiple chapters.

 March 9, 2033

Last night I talked to Perry and Hauana about my day with Jay, Jocelyn, Amber, Takeshi, Soledad, and June. I gave them generic answers, like 'they were nice', and 'I had fun'. This time though, I wasn't lying, not really. The others kids were really nice. They treated me like a normal kid, like a boy who was like all the other boys. I did have fun. That is why I went over again today.

This time I met more people. Jay's mother Jessie and Aunt Rumika, Aunt Lucy, and his uncle Meowth were also around. Yesterday some of them were busy and the others just didn't want to interrupt our playtime. Rumika lives farther away, in a big mansion with tenants, but she visits all the time since she doesn't have any other family and is really close to the Morgans.

Rumika joked and said that I could be her evil older sister's child, and Jessie and James got mad at her. Not really mad, but I can tell they were annoyed. They must not like Rumika's older sister if they think she is evil. After that happened, I ask Jay:

"Why did Rumika say that about her sister? Is her big sister really evil?"

Jay scratched his head and looked in both directions before he leaned in to whisper. He covered his mouth with his hands so that no one could even try to read his lips.

"Usually, that's a sarcastic expression that people use, but in this case, Rumika's older sister 'Jessiebelle' really is evil. She is in jail and everything. My parents don't want me talking about it, so I will tell you later in secret."

"Okay. Thank you, Jay."

I discovered something amazing

I found a site that allows you to create an anime avatar using different games. These are common, but this one I think is the best. There are many more options than one would expect from this kind of game. Since I am not good at drawing (though I tried) I decided to make a few of my characters from my Pokemon fanfictions on Fanfiction.net (search: chipotlepeppers) using  this game. I wish I had found it sooner!

You have been posting/reblogging a lot of writing/study tips and such lately but I thought perhaps you were giving up on writing Journal: I am Jezz because it's been almost three weeks since you posted and you used to post twice a week. So, are you still truckin?

Of course! I have never given up on a fanfic, never will. I have been posting/ reblogging more writing-related posts because I am giving myself a refresher course on how to write well. The reason I have cut down the frequency of my updates is because:

The number of reviewers has dropped significantly. I am not going to rush to post if only two or three people are going to review before my next planned update. Even though The Journal: I am Jezz has over 400 reviews so far, these reviews almost all come from the same seven to eight people, and many of them haven’t  reviewed in a while. 

The Journal is a super long fic and this makes updating twice a week unrealistic.  I only updated twice a week for the first twenty or so chapters because I had already spent over a month revising and proofreading them. Also, shorter fics have updates on a near daily basis because I do not have to invest as much time into perfecting them to the best of my abilities.

I need a bit of a mental break from writing so I have been reading more novels, looking at online resources on Tumblr and beyond, making fanart, and beta reading for people.

 Thanks for the ask. It’s been a while since a fellow Tumblr talked to me😊
