The journal entries for Liminality ARE for a fic. It's a the same title I was planning on using for a Ryan story WAAAAAAY back when, but I never ended up writing that one - and so I'm reusing the title and some of the plot points for a new one.

It's interesting that you went to zombies - it's definitely supernatural in nature, but all of the 'weird' stuff on here is definitely very much alive... and thriving.

I miss you and hope you're doing well, too. I was thinking of you over the weekend while I was in LA. <3

It was absolutely killing him that turning off his hearing aids didn't work against ghosts. He opened his eyes, staring blankly up at the by now familiar shape floating above him. The look in the spectral eyes was infuriatingly soft.

"Come on. One little walk. And I won't give you any grief about your meal choices tonight."

"It's still light out," he gritted, too tired to even raise his voice. "And you can't make me."

The shining eyes narrowed. "Not yet I can't, but I'll learn. And I bet I'll be able to start chucking bottles of vitamin D at your head long before I'm strong enough to move your sorry ass."

"I did you a favour, you wanted this. And this is the thanks I get?"

Somehow the chill turned warm for a second while the ghost smiled with his whole face. "Yeah. I'm paying it forward."

He pulled the couch pillow over his head. "Go haunt somewhere else."

"Or, you could leave and go for a-"

"Fine, I'll go for a damn walk."

The ghostly laughter followed him all the way to the door and for a second it felt like the grey sludge gave way—

everyone is obsessing over the honda odyssey scene and the trouple, and like, I get it, but I'm obsessed with Logan and Laura. Like, this is not her Logan, and as far we know, he doesn't personally know the Laura of his world (let alone if she even existed by the time deadpool pulls him into earth-10005), and he did get most of his aggression out by the time they met, but I'm obsessed with how quickly he fell into family mode with her. His behaviour is immediately very different with her compared to everyone else, he does push her away when she sits down to have a chat, but only dismisses her once, and rather politely at that, especially compared to how he keeps swearing at everyone else and telling them they're fucked. And he then shuts up and listens when she tells him to. Plus it's her who motivated him to get in the damn car and do some hero shit. And the way he used his whole ass trauma against Cassandra, as much as I love poolverine, bestie did not give Logan the juice to use THAT as a tactic. she even showed up in his motivation, save the world montage sequence, and he spent at most a few hours with her! This guy saw his mini-me and immediately went, I'm a dad now I guess, fuck.
