What Real Bravery Actually Looks Like And How It Can Change Worlds
I’ve watched recently some videos of police as they face gunmen shooting up schools. Armed and doing their duty, they charge into these situations clear of dangers they face. And while those are brave acts, there’s a higher order of bravery I’d like to discuss: The bravery that looks like living one’s Charmed Life and what that looks like.
Sure, it’s one thing to charge into a building you know a gunman awaits. But is that really brave? Or is that responding to the what-is-ness of life? If we can create any reality we want, why not create a reality in which a person needn’t experience such things?
A while ago, I experienced something which showed me what real bravery looks like. What happened back then forever changed my life. Real bravery looks like living authentically. That means creating a life that looks nothing like what others are doing.
And the most honorable life is one that reflects the pure positive state of All That Is. A state of pure love for everyone and everything. There, a person must enjoy an experience of life that reflects that love back at the person. That’s what I learned a while back when I had the experience I’m about to share.
Anger personified
One day, I was out and about, enjoying life. I walked through downtown, greeting everyone I made eye-contact with with a twinkle in my eye and a smile. Meanwhile my positive focus emanated from me. I felt on top of the world.
I stopped to catch the lightrail and, while I waited, a young man came walking down the platform. It was obvious he was houseless. He walked with slumped shoulders, his eyes cast to the ground.
But something must have prompted him, because as he got near me, he looked up and caught my eye. I gave him a dose of positive energy and greeted him silently with my smile. What happened next was astounding.
“What you looking at faggot,” He said with hostility. “You wanna die today?”
When he said this, I felt no fear, no threat. I didn’t even have time to think about what he said. Immediately from my lips came a response that, even today, startles me. But what he said in response to that, startled me even more.
“You wanna die today?” he asked.
“Do you?” I asked in return and he turned his hard stare from me back to the ground. As he did so, without missing a beat, he said “Yes”.
Violence is a cry for help
At first, I couldn’t believe my response just as much as I couldn’t believe his. So surprised I was, I did a double-take. I wasn’t sure what just happened. Apparently, the young man wasn’t sure either, because as distance grew between us, he kept looking back towards me, a look of surprise in his own eyes.
I’ve said this many, many times. Rage, seething and violence are all cries for help. A person willing to wage violence on another does so out of their disconnection from their Broader Perspective. So disconnected are they, they see the world around them as frightening, threatening. It’s no wonder they feel the need to wage war against it.
The appropriate response to such people isn’t meeting them with violence. It is meeting them with understanding. Hopefully doing so well before violence becomes their last resort.
Tumblr media
^^Abraham describing how no one connected to All That Is would ever resort to violence.
The trouble with our world today, if there is trouble, is so many of us live our lives so disconnected from All That Is that we perceive the world as scary, random and out of our control. When, in fact, our individual experience is 100 percent our creation.
Think I’m “victim blaming”? Read this.
And since all of us come into the world through people who came before us, it’s almost a given that we’ll adopt those people’s fears and insecurities as our own.
So real courage, real bravery isn’t about running into an active shooter situation to kill someone who themselves is so disconnected they kill others. Real courage is short circuiting the notions that make people think it’s necessary to arm themselves then shoot up a school in the first place.
The power of invincibility
Invincibility is another matter entirely. Invincibility looks like moving through the world knowing nothing in the world can harm us. Including houseless strangers, school shooters or any other violence.
Indeed, it’s knowing everything in the world reflects back to us our inner state of being. A chronic Positively Focused state reflects back to us only things that nurture and delight and surprise us. There, even a threatening houseless youth or armed attacker reveals who they really are: someone in pain. Someone harmless to us.
These days, I move through the world worried about no one. Instead I see the world and everyone in it as my creation. And the world indeed reflects that knowing to me, in the form of people who express kindness, love and warmth. Those with rage-full hearts can’t find me. Because I’m on a totally different vibrational level.
This is what the Charmed Life creates. In addition to a life one loves, it creates a world that reflects back to us the charmed state of being we nurture internally. Creating that life takes a while. Only because nearly all of us have adopted bogus beliefs from those through whom we came into the world.
And it is an act of courage to reach beyond those bogus beliefs. To reach for that state of being consistent with what we knew before coming into a body. The courage to go our own way, live authentically, then transform life from what others think it is, to what we want it to be.
It is to be the change we want to see in the world.

DONT IGNORE ASSUMING ITS A SIMPLE POST. I AM FEELING ALONE SO I EXPRESSED IT HERE,KINDLY READ IT.
I think that two people are linked at the heart, and it doesn't matter what you do, who you are, or where you reside; there are no boundaries or barriers if two people are meant to be together. Having gone through a long one-sided relationship, I never call it a relationship to start with as it was always one-sided, but the man I was with always gave me a vibe that he is into it.
Being a small-town girl stepped into a City, with eyes full of dreams to pursue the career of my interest. I was brought up with a mindset purely dedicated and devoting my hours to studying, and progressing each day. I am someone who used to think relationships are waste of time and worthless, they include a lot of fights, ego clashes, and Cryings cause that's how I saw my friends in toxic relationships. I made up my mind to never enter into a relationship once I step into Med school. I cleared my medical entrance and got into one of the very best Med schools in my country.
That came as a sudden hit but gradually we started talking more and more and our conversations over call lasted for 5-6 hours, eventually, I started gifting him whatever he asks for, and in 3 months the worth of the gift reached whooping USD$3500. I never regretted the amount I spent on him, but he is embarrassed to be with me in public, he gives a statement that I am not like all boys to be clingy when others are watching, he maintains that distance, he never texts me, I have to crave for his time, he kisses me or used to become physical with me, shower love up on me whenever I give him a gift!! We drifted apart for our internship in our final year of medicine that was when I realized that he was using me cause he never called me, I have to call him, but he never texts me, I have to be the first person to text him, he never misses me, I am the one who says I love you he simply smiles at it and never replies back. After 4 years of dilemma, I got clarity he was never connected to me, the reason why it took 4 years cause he used to say he loves me and he got connected to me but he can't take a relationship, he doesn't want a relationship and he used to flirt with other girls give attention to them, text them, it felt humiliating. I used to crave and long for his attention, and time, I made my entire world like him, and never gave attention to friends, I was solely lost in his thoughts, loving him and being obsessed with him. It's taking me so much courage to come out, even now I look at notifications on my mobile craving for him, I didn't speak to him about this I didn't say him I want to move away from him even now I am getting fooled by him, cause I got addicted to him.
Tumblr media
There is an existence outside of a bond. And, unfortunately, that is the reality we take for granted. We devote almost all of our efforts to mending our love lives, nurturing, preserving, and hoping for them. And in the process, we disregard what is deeply intimate to us, our own lives. And this isn't just true for individuals who are desperate for someone to say yes. It is also true for individuals who are already in a partnership. They are so short-sighted that they cannot see beyond their relationship. What about your own life, personality, job, goals, mental peace, development, happiness, nightmares, and space? Do you ever settle down and reflect? No. I'm not suggesting that compromises and adjustments are terrible in a bond. I applaud you for being so adaptable and caring. My issue is that you did not appreciate that individual in addition to yourself. Why did you stop appreciating yourself? Why have you become so... unrecognizable? Don't you want to be yourself again? Don't you think so? Think.

Sixth Sunday in Ordinary Time
Leviticus 13: 1-2, 44-46
Here we have the instructions given to lepers which isolated them.
Psalm 32
The Psalmist speaks of God’s forgiveness.
1st Corinthians 10:31-11:1
Paul reminds the Corinthians to do all for the glory of God.
Mark 1:40-45
Jesus heals a leper who begs for healing.
The plight of a leper living in Jesus’ day was so painful.  Our first reading from the Old Testament goes into detail about their behavior.  “He shall dwell apart, making his abode outside the camp.”  The fear of contagion and the power of the religious purity laws separated these poor souls from the community and those they love, and gave them a life of begging and poverty.   Such isolation happens as the text says, “If someone has on their skin a scab, or a pustule or blotch which appears to be the sore of leprosy.  They could a face isolation at the decision of one of the priests.  Some authors share that there were other skin disorders that got lumped into the leprosy category and the impact on people was so hard.
Think of the courage of the leper to approach Jesus, begging for a cure.  Jesus’ reaction had to shock any one around him.  “Moved with pity he stretched out his hand, touched him, and said to him, ‘I will do it, be made clean.’”   Jesus reflects deep pity for the man and actually stretches out his hand and touches him.  He exposes himself to the disease and ritual impurity.  Amazing!
Jesus tells the healed man not to tell anyone but to show himself to the priest who would confirm the cure.  I wonder if Jesus did that to secure the man’s new place in the community or to show the priests what Jesus’ ministry is all about.  But the healed man ignored Jesus’ instructions and became a “publicist” for this new healer.
For many of us who are old enough, we remember how men and women with HIV/AIDS were also feared and isolated.   I remember that during the height of the AIDS/HIV epidemic, the Sisters of Mercy began a support group for families who has a relative infected with HIV/AIDS.  They and their loved ones felt so isolated from the community, and often did not tell anyone what they were facing.  But many doctors, nurses and other advocates tried to reach out and touch the infected ones, and their families to support them.
Perhaps these days we may not face such unusual cases but often families and individuals are silent about difficult issues.  But there is another painful dimension this Gospel shares with us.  It is not only the pain of leprosy that is tragic, but its communal effects.  Isolation from families and communities while the fear is understandable, it had to be very painful.  Separation from those one loves and depends on is difficult.
Sr Miriam Pollard writes that Jesus’ response to the leper’s statement is powerful.  “If you wish you can make me clean,” really is more than we imagine.  Jesus’ response “I do will it, be made clean” goes much deeper than physical healing.  “Look, I give you back a place, a family, respectability.  I give you back the give-and-take of love.  I give you back yourself.”
This Gospel invites us to ask ourselves, “Who are the isolated ones in our communities these days?  Who does the community try to avoid?  Who are those denied a place in the community because of their race, gender, culture, or sexuality?  How do we match these actions to the words said at creation that “God made us male and female in God’s own image?”  How can we in small ways give someone “back to themselves?”

Scripture Verse
Tumblr media
Matthew 16 verse 24: “Then Jesus said to His disciples, ‘If anyone wants to come with Me, he {or she} must deny himself {herself|}. take up his {or her} cross and follow me’.”
To be a follower {Christian}, we follow the example of Our Lord, Our Redeemer and Our Friend, Christ Jesus. This verse comes in the same chapter as Peter’s revelation of Jesus as The Messiah.
Matthew 16 verse 24; Jesus tells us what a follower must do.
“Then Jesus said to His disciples, ‘If anyone wants to come with Me, he {or she} must deny himself {herself}, take up his cross and follow me’.”
At the time of Jesus telling His disciples this, they didn’t understand what was going to really happen to Him, the cross represented Jesus dying in theirs and our place, so we could be free from the power of sin.
Galatians 2 verse 19 and 20:
Verse 19; A follower who has taken up his or her cross, has been crucified with Christ.
Verse 20: The result of which I {we} no longer live but Christ lives in me {us}. The life I {we} now live in the flesh I {we} by faith in The Son of God {Christ Jesus}, who loved me {us} and gave Himself for me {us}, but us individually.
.We have been crucified with Christ which means we have come to the cross and have reflected on the dying form of One who suffered there for us. Our response to our reflection of this great loved He displayed for us, is we turn aside from the kind of life we once live, and take our stand at the foot of the cross.
A relinquished life. We take up our cross, so we can die to self and partake of the New Life, that Jesus obtained for us, through His dying on The Cross and rising again in Newness of life.
A relinquished life, surrendered to His purpose for our lives and it takes courage but the rewards are everlasting.
God Bless.

A Little Magic - Every Part of The Spell
Tumblr media
TW for magical amensia drugs, angst, foul language, descriptions of violence, blood, and death. These go across the series and each part has individual warnings for that specific chapter.
Nature is power, power can be tamed, and those who know that crave it all the more, as Y/N, Demetri and Castor are about to find out.
Part 1: A Little Magic
Nature is power, power can be tamed, and those who know that crave it all the more. When your power is revealed to the wrong people, events seem to spiral out of control and beyond your comprehension. It quickly becomes apparent there is a much larger game being played, one in which you and Demetri are mere pawns, but how can you win when you don’t know the rules?
Part 2: A Game of Cat and Mouse
After being cast out by the Grand Magister a game of survival ensues, one pitting tracker against witch in a race to reach each other.
Part 3: A Book and A Bargain
Demetri’s knowledge of you is woefully inadequate and he vows to change that. Though he strives to find out more about your world, it only makes him more uncertain about his place in his, and certain revelations lead him to strike a desperate bargain that will ultimately make or break you both.
Part 4: A Moment Made For Us
A month is a fleeting moment, a sliver of time that is inconsequential to a man who has forever. To Demetri, every precious moment of the month he’s spent with you is engraved in his head and heart. In other words, this is how the vampire and the witch fell in love.
 Part 5: A Spindle Prick
After being separated for months becomes too much for either of them to handle, a supposedly simple visit takes a drastic turn for the worst. Y/N, Castor, and Demetri find themselves thrown into the first of many trials as unknown forces conspire against them.
 Part 6: A Witch’s Wrath
Castor is unconscious, but his parting gift to Demetri has allowed him to track his mate. The tracker is desperate to bring justice to those who would dare harm his mate, but the events he sets in motion have lethal consequence that will refract throughout nature…
 Part 7: A Revelation
While recovering from a barbaric attack carried out by Merida, an unexpected visit from the High Council puts everyone on edge.
 Part 8: A Message In A Bottle
Elder Oili gave Y/N a message only she would understand, forcing her to lie to the Volturi in the process. With tensions rising, Y/N attempts an enlightening journey that will put her at the heart of everything, while knowing nothing.
Part 9: A Lesson In History
Y/N and Castor have finally found the red door, but behind it lies a web of lies so dense that to unravel them it means to unravel the very reality they have lived and believed for centuries...
Part 10: A Truth To Tell
After a night of passionate distraction, Y/N reveals the truth to a dumbstruck Demetri, resolves to make amends with a prideful familiar, and makes an unlikely ally.
Part 11: A War Cry
Desperate for a means to defeat Seren, the group travel to the Athenaeum, where the entire history of magic lies at their fingertips, and their enemies wait in the shadows.
Part 12: A Deluge of Discoveries
The Ancestors reveal a terrifying truth, and Y/N finds herself forced to take extreme measures to use the moonstone as needed.
Part 13: A Peacock’s Tale
Unlocking the secrets of the moonstone will take all of the wit and courage Y/N has. Can it truly reveal a way to stop Seren?
Part 14: A Time For Everything
With Merlin's aid, the trio have a moment to reflect on everything that's happened and everything yet to come.
Part 15: A Full Circle
This story ends the way it begins, with you and Demetri in the middle of a massacre.
Part 16: A Soft Epilogue (Coming 4th December, maybe later depending on how messy my birthday is...)
The world must rebuild and time must move on, however much you wish you could stay in the moment.

Thank You, RBG
We are heartbroken. Supreme Court Justice and gender equality hero Ruth Bader Ginsburg died on Friday, Sept. 18. Her death is a painful loss for our country. She was a fierce and unapologetic warrior for equality, and her achievements are endless. As we mourn we’re also embracing our gratitude for her service to our country.
Tumblr media
Cherishing RBG’s Legacy
Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg committed her life to protecting the rights, freedoms, and health of people across the country — in particular women, communities of color, and others whose voices too often go unheard. She was a true trailblazer who inspired millions of girls and women to fight through sexism and discrimination to make American a better place to work, to live, and to love.
Her powerful words over the years, including her razor-sharp dissents, helped push our nation toward freedom and opportunity for all. Her spirit, values, and words will be deeply missed.
Tumblr media
A Modern Revolutionary
Some revolutionaries shook up a society with anger burning and guns blazing. Others studied hard, knocked down an unfair system one peg at a time, and spoke truth to power while wearing a lace collar. That was Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
She got two mottoes from her mother, Celia Bader (who marched for women’s suffrage):
“Be independent,” take care of yourself without being financially beholden to a man, and
“Be a lady,” don't allow emotions like anger to be so consuming they get in your way.
When Ruth Bader Ginsburg saw anything repugnant — like systemic discrimination — she would get straight to work. It wasn’t easy. Over decades, Ruth Bader Ginsburg faced a slew of indignities. But she harnessed courage and resolve to strategically break down America’s sexist, unethical laws and institutions.
To honor the Notorious RBG, we’ve collected our seven favorite facts about her life and her legacy.
7) RBG was defiant in the face of entrenched sexism in college and law school.
Most colleges didn’t accept women in the 1950s, and Ruth Bader was one of the first to break the gender barrier. At Cornell University, she was sexually harassed by a professor, who offered answers to a test in exchange for sex. She confronted him: “I went to his office and I said, ‘How dare you? How dare you do this?’ And that was the end of that.”
At Harvard Law School, she and the eight other women in her class of more than 500 students were ogled, ignored in the classroom, excluded from the library, and asked by the dean how they could possibly justify taking a seat away from a man. But that hostile environment didn’t stop her.
She fought it with brain power and superhuman physical endurance. She was so obsessed with the law that she’d regularly stay up until dawn studying. Well into her 80s, she retained her reputation for working until 3 a.m. and living on just two hours of sleep.
While she was kicking butt at the top of her classes, she was also taking care of her young daughter and sick husband. Martin (Marty) Ginsburg contracted testicular cancer and had extensive radiation therapy, which kept him from going to his own law school classes. So, RBG organized his friends to attend his classes, worked through their notes with Marty, and typed up Marty’s papers — all while doing her own schoolwork on top of it.
She tied for first in her class from Columbia Law School in 1959. She also was the first person to become a member of both the prestigious Harvard Law Review, and the Columbia Law Review — one of many of her unprecedented feats. She proved to those elite schools that a woman could succeed.
Tumblr media
6) RBG showed the world what a partnership looks like in a husband-wife relationship.
Ruth Bader met Marty Ginsburg while they were both at Cornell University, and they forged an equal partnership from the beginning. He learned to cook so she didn’t have to. Later, he lobbied for her seats on the Court of Appeals in D.C. and on the Supreme Court. And he gave up his law firm in New York to follow her to Washington — a shocking move at the time.
Here’s how she put it at her 1993 Senate confirmation hearing:
“I surely would not be in this room today without the determined efforts of men and women who kept dreams of equal citizenship alive. I have had the great good fortune to share life with a partner truly extraordinary for his generation. A man who believed at age 18 when we met that a woman’s work, whether at home or on the job, is as important as a man’s. I became a lawyer when women were not wanted by most members of the legal profession. I became a lawyer because Marty supported that choice unreservedly.”
5.) RBG won a whopping five cases before the Supreme Court — and they all advanced the Constitutional protection of equal rights for all Americans.
As smart and accomplished as Ruth Bader Ginsburg was, no law firm would hire her after she graduated from law school. Law firms slammed the door in her face time after time because they only hired men. She realized that “being a woman was an impediment.”
As Ginsburg navigated the legal working world in the 1960s, she saw how thousands of state and federal laws were treating women as second-class citizens. At that time, most states’ laws allowed employment termination for pregnancy, and let banks deny credit to women without a male co-signer. The Supreme Court had rejected every challenge to laws that treated women worse than men.
All this gender discrimination fueled Ginsburg’s drive for social justice. In the early 1970s, she followed the strategy of NAACP civil rights lawyer and Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall, who helped dismantle Jim Crow laws case by case over many years — leading to Brown v. Board of Education of Topeka, which outlawed racial segregation in schools in 1954. Like Marshall, Ginsburg centered her arguments on the 14th Amendment to the Constitution, which says all persons should be treated equally under the law.
Throughout the ‘70s, Ginsburg led the ACLU’s Women's Rights Project, for which she argued and won five landmark gender equality cases before the Supreme Court. As she said in the 2018 documentary RBG: "I knew that I was speaking to men who didn't think there was such a thing as gender-based discrimination, and my job was to tell them it really exists.”
These cases set the foundation for the country’s laws against sex discrimination, and helped eliminate being male as the criteria for employment, pay, and benefits:
Two cases in 1975 and 1979 established the requirement that women serve on juries, recognizing that they should enjoy both the benefits and the responsibilities of our judicial system.
“The vaunted woman's privilege viewed against history's backdrop simply reflects and perpetuates a certain way of thinking about women. Women traditionally were deemed lesser citizens.”
—Ruth Bader Ginsburg, arguing before the Supreme Court (Duren v. Missouri, 1979)
An employment benefits case in 1973 required the U.S. military to equally distribute family-based benefits for service members regardless of sex.
“In asking the Court to declare sex a suspect criterion, we urge a position forcibly stated in 1837 by Sara Grimke, noted abolitionist and advocate of equal rights for men and women. She said, ‘I ask no favor for my sex. All I ask of our brethren is that they take their feet off our necks.'”
— Ruth Bader Ginsburg, arguing before the Supreme Court (Frontiero v. Richardson, 1973)
Two cases in 1974 and 1975 threw out gender-based distinctions in survivors’ benefits, granting widowers the same benefits as widows. RBG argued that while giving widows special treatment sounded nice, it wasn’t. Withholding benefits to widowers devalued the work of their deceased wives.
“A gender line...helps to keep women not on a pedestal, but in a cage.”
—Ruth Bader Ginsburg, arguing before the Supreme Court (Weinberger v. Wiesenfeld, 1975)
Tumblr media
4) At her confirmation hearings, RBG openly declared that abortion access is a Constitutional right.
At her 1993 Supreme Court confirmation hearings, Ruth Bader Ginsburg showed what it looks like to uphold constitutional rights. Unlike recent Supreme Court nominees, she affirmatively declared the Constitutional right to safe, legal abortion. When Sen. Hank Brown (R-CO) grilled her about her views on abortion, she declared:
“But you asked me about my thinking about equal protection versus individual autonomy, and my answer to you is it's both. This is something central to a woman's life, to her dignity. It's a decision that she must make for herself. And when Government controls that decision for her, she's being treated as less than a fully adult human responsible for her own choices.”
Tumblr media
3) RBG wrote the historic decision ruling that state-funded schools must admit women.
In 1996, Justice Ginsburg wrote the Supreme Court’s majority opinion in United States v. Virginia, which ruled that the Virginia Military Institute’s men-only admission policy violated the 14th Amendment’s equal protection clause. Justice Ginsburg destroyed the Institute’s argument that its program wasn’t suitable for women. Instead, she wrote that:
“[G]eneralizations about ‘the way women are,’ estimates of what is appropriate for most women, no longer justify denying opportunity to women whose talent and capacity place them outside the average description.”
The school has admitted women since then, and — as Justice Ginsburg predicted — they have made the school proud.

2) RBG’s dissent from the majority in Lilly Ledbetter’s case led to the passage a fair pay law.
In 2007, Justice Ginsburg dissented in the ruling against Lilly Ledbetter — a tire factory employee who learned, decades into her tenure, that she was being paid much less than men in the exact same supervisory role: She was making $3,727 per month, while her male counterparts were making between $4,286 and $5,236 per month. However, she lost the case because the Civil Rights Act had a statute of limitations for reporting on discrimination.
In her scathing dissent, Justice Ginsburg wrote that gender discrimination can be hidden for a long time and “the ball is in Congress’s court” to change the rule. In 2009, Barack Obama signed the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act, which extended the Civil Rights Act’s statute of limitations and guarantees women equal pay for equal work.

1.) RBG put the smack down on TRAP laws in Whole Woman’s Health v. Hellerstedt.
In the landmark Whole Woman’s Health v. Hellerstedt case in 2016, the Supreme Court — including Justice Ginsburg — ruled that two abortion restrictions in Texas were unconstitutional because they would shut down most clinics in the state and cause Texans an “undue burden” on access to safe, legal abortion. The case exposed the lie that anti-abortion politicians have been peddling for years: that it’s somehow “safer” when the state imposes medically unnecessary, onerous targeted restrictions against abortion providers (TRAP) laws.
In her concurring opinion to the majority, Justice Ginsburg wrote:
“Given those realities [that keep abortion access out of reach], it is beyond rational belief that H.B. 2 could genuinely protect the health of women, and certain that the law ‘would simply make it more difficult for them to obtain abortions’... When a State severely limits access to safe and legal procedures, women in desperate circumstances may resort to unlicensed rogue practitioners... at great risk to their health and safety.”
With this historic decision, the Court reaffirmed the constitutional right to access legal abortion. This decision was a triumph for abortion access. And when one of the restrictions that Ginsburg helped strike down came up in another lawsuit this year, Ginsburg again helped lead the Court to protecting abortion access in a major Supreme Court victory for reproductive rights.
Ruth Bader Ginsburg rose for all of us. How will we work together to rise for her?
From day one, Justice Ginsburg recognized our constitutional right to control our bodies and our destinies. That is a legacy that cannot and must not depart with her.
Justice Ginsburg stood up for us. Now it’s our turn.

Are you going to make a part 3 for the Neji one where he has a crush on the branch member and ten ten and Lee find out. You don’t have to but I really enjoy it!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Well it took me a lot longer than expected but I say that about all my work now, lol. Sorry everyone I’m a slow writer. But I hope you all enjoy the final piece to this fic.
Part I  Part II
Welp! The secret is out, Neji: Part III
The look in Neji’s eyes of pure unfiltered irritation was a look that Tenten would never forget. The minute that you stepped out of the room, Neji had quickly fixed his glare on the two of them. His voice left a chill in the air as he told them to get out with the most even tone. Lee began to apologize, fumbling over his words in his stark surprise.
Tenten’s eyes had snapped way from the cup of tea Neji knocked over in Lee’s hands purposely while your back was turned. She couldn’t believe her eyes and her head was still trying to wrap around the events that transpired. She had to grab Lee to leave when she saw Neji’s fists tighten while he closed his eyes. She knew in that moment that Neji did not want any apologies. He was holding back his anger, so she made a quick getaway towing Lee with her, even while he was still apologizing.
Tenten could only hope that Neji would find it in his heart to forgive Lee for spilling the beans. She knew how private of an individual Neji was; especially, when it came to expressing feelings. She was afraid that this might be the last time he would trust them with his secrets. She sighed, knowing this was a delicate situation.
Lee was currently wailing about his woes while they waited in the training fields for Neji and their sensei.
“I can’t believe I spoke so carelessly.”
“It’s alright Lee,” Tenten tried to console, half-heartedly. “I’m sure Y/N didn’t catch on” at least Tenten hoped and she hoped Neji wouldn’t hold a grudge for too long about the incident either.
“How will Neji ever forgive me?” Lee continued to whine, but then jumped up at an idea. “I know! I’ll offer to do his laundry, or I could buy him some tea.”
“I don’t think Neji’s going to let you touch his laundry.” Tenten shot down, knowing Neji probably had a precise way of doing it and who’s to say if he would really let his whites be washed by Lee. “And… I don’t think tea would be a good gift after what just happened,” she mentioned thoughtfully.
Lee slapped his forehead and exclaimed, “Of course! Not tea! That would definitely remind him of my transgressions. But what can I give then? What can I do?”
“Well…” Tenten started but she was a little lost too.
Neji wasn’t much into sweets, nor was he really into gifts of any kind. Tenten had placed her hands on her hips and was continuing to think of what could appease Neji when he appeared on the training field. Both team members were surprised.
“Neji!” they both exclaimed but Tenten was the first to stutter out a response.
“You’re back so soon.” That had her worried. They barely rushed out thirty minutes ago.
“Yes.” Neji’s tone was flat.
“Is everything okay?” Lee asked, concerned.
“Perfectly,” He spoke shortly. His eyes sharp, but his expression was blank. “Lee shall we get started?”
Neji spoke so coolly that Tenten felt a chill run up the back of her neck. Lee easily agreed to start sparring with Neji; wanting to do anything to please him at that moment. However, Tenten could easily see that Neji was not at all at peace. His strikes were fierce against Lee. It was obvious that Neji wanted to pacify his anger and direct it at Lee. Training was the perfect guise for that.
Lee took everything that Neji had. He would block hits and strike with his own but there was a lack of effort on Lee’s part. He fell to the ground many times but kept getting back up to take what Neji had in store for him.
During their skirmish, Gai arrived and stood beside Tenten. He spectated his pupils with interest and noticed right away something was off.
“My intuition is telling me something is off between the two of them.”
“Your intuition is not wrong,” Tenten replied. Her brows were furrowed down in concentration. Her teammates were typically rough with each other, which is why she had little concern, but she was worried about Neji holding a grudge over them for a long time.
“Say you wouldn’t happen to know what this is about, do ya?” Gai questioned. “Neji’s attacks seems to be very targeted at Lee with blunt force and normally, Lee holds a better stance than that and seems to be putting in less effort as if he’s conflicted.” He reasoned, his voice calm.
Tenten sighed. “You’re not off point. Lee accidently confessed to Neji’s crush that he liked them. I don’t think Neji was ready to tell them yet.”
“Ah, yes. A young man’s love can often stir up the fire in his being,” Gai nodded to himself for a moment, stroking his chin. Then once he came to a decision, he patted Tenten on the shoulder and gave her a thumbs up. “I got this.”
She sweat dropped, not sure if her sensei would make things worse, but before she could say anything Gai was already breaking up Neji and Lee’s sparring session.
“Alright that’s enough. Lee why don’t you continue training with Tenten. Neji, come and walk with me,” Gai directed. He put a hand on Neji’s shoulder briefly to signal for him to follow, leaving Lee and Tenten to their own devices.
Neji followed out of respect. He was still feeling grim and annoyed on the inside. When the two of them were far enough away from his teammates, that’s when Gai addressed the issue.
“So, I hear Lee had spilled the beans to the one who has your affections”
“I think Tenten should not be repeating Lee’s mistake and learn to keep her mouth shut.” Neji’s eyes narrowed and his voice was cold once more. He knew exactly who had informed Gai about the situation and it annoyed him further.
“Tell me about the one that ignites the fire inside your being,” Gai prompted, not at all bother by Neji’s display.
“I rather much not talk about it. Especially after today's events,” Neji mumbled, his cheeks tinting slightly red. This was something he did not want to talk about with his sensei of all people.
Gai nodded, understanding Neji’s hesitancy and ignoring it. He understood how Neji operated after three years of training him and he doubt his other students meant to cause such trouble for him. Their intentions probably meant well but a small slip of the tongue probably left Neji in a very unwanted situation. Gai knew that the Hyuga clan which Neji belonged to highly respected privacy and lacked open affection.
His face was serious and did not scold or reprimand him in tone when he continued.
“When I was a young man, I found one such as you did that ignited the fire within my loins. They were beautiful and caught my eye. Not only was my eye caught, but others as well stared at their beauty. I wanted so badly to catch their attention like they caught mine, but alias, my rival had won them over before I could. Yet! I knew to not give up the chase and at least make my affections known.”
“And?” Neji asked simply, not sure where his sensei was going with this. “Did they return your affections?”
“No,” Gai answered and Neji deadpanned.
“Then what is the point of your story?” Neji asked a bit impatient due to feeling uncomfortable.
“That you never know how someone feels unless you try. The one who caught my affections never carried the same affection for me, but their affections were also not returned by Kakashi either. My courage in telling them (despite how they had felt about me) gave them courage to make known their own affections. One just has to come forward in order for any two to be together. You see what I mean Neji?”
“Yes…” He admitted.
“If you like this person, there will never be nothing more if you never tell them how you feel. You’re young and with the life we live, you never know when your last day is coming. It’s better to say all that is on your heart now, than to have it on your mind during your last breath,” Gai mentioned somber.
He stepped forward towards Neji and patted him on the shoulder, giving him an encouraging smile.
“Now why don’t you skedaddle and take a moment to reflect. Come back when you have settled what is in your heart. And try to forgive Lee and Tenten.”
With that Gai took his leave and vanished into the trees.
Neji took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. He was still slightly annoyed but not so much anymore. He knew Lee didn’t mean to say what he had on purpose and he knew Tenten only wanted to help and make peace of the situation. His teammates were cavalier at times, but they were good and honest friends of his. What had really annoyed him was himself for not telling Y/N how he felt sooner and not knowing if you even felt the same.
He hated to admit it but Gai was right. He had no way of knowing how you felt unless he were to confess his own feelings first. He wouldn’t have been so bothered if he didn’t let the fear of the unknown keep him from revealing himself. He could never be with you, if he kept his feelings locked inside unless he had the courage, or you did.
With that, Neji took a slow walk back to the Hyuga compound. He was stalling as he was mauling over what to say to you. He wanted to make things right for earlier as well. He had upped and dashed. He caused a spill you had to clean up. He felt guilty and rude for doing so.
He passed by some wildflowers on his way and picked a few white and yellow daises. He twirled them in his hand, wondering if that was sufficient as his mind ran. When he got to the Hyuga compound, he headed towards his personal corridors and went to his kitchen, looking for something meaningful. He grabbed a tray and started preparing an array of snacks on said tray. He then took an extra step to start squeezing some lemons to make lemonade for you since he knew you did not care for tea. Lemonade was your favorite drink. He grabbed two cups to place on the tray next to the pitcher and the flowers he picked for you neatly placed along the snacks.
When he was ready, he took the tray and headed to your quarters. He knew exactly where you resided. He braced himself as he stood in front of your door. He knocked, trying to steel himself.
When you opened the door, you took his breath away. You weren’t dressed up, but your natural beauty and lovely lavender eyes made him lose himself slightly. You had appeared in your normal attire that you were wearing before he left, your curse seal left uncovered. Your hair was down and cascaded round you.
“Neji?” You questioned, surprised to see him at your door holding a tray out to you. “What is this?”
“An apology for earlier.”
“Oh, you didn’t have to.”
“I do, because I had created the mess earlier when my teammates were here,”
Your eyes grew wide and your mouth formed an o-shape.
“But that’s not all,” Neji continued. “I wanted to do this for you because I like you.”
“I…” You were stunned and felt your heart flutter at the confession. “I like you too, Neji.”
“Would you like to have refreshments with me?” Neji asked more confidently, but there were still butterflies flying around in his stomach.
You smiled in awe at his gesture and were overwhelmed with joy. “Yes.”
With that you followed Neji out into the courtyard, where you two sat and got to know one another better and enjoyed the fresh lemonade he made especially for you. You were finally happy to have gotten answers, that the one you always admired had you written in his heart. Both you and Neji being grateful to his teammates for letting the secret out.

See my partner’s ( @maybemacdc ) wonderful artwork that goes along with this!
Get up.
I hear the faint sound of an alarm clock, its signals the start of my day. I know I need to get up but the warmth of my bed and the peace in my bedroom cuddles me in a soundless lullaby.
Get up now.
The cold morning air hits my skin as I reach my arm out of my covers to turn off the alarm making me a bit more aware of myself than before but not enough. I decide to curl up in my bed once more, savoring the cozy air that my blankets trapped during the night.
You’re going to be late.
As I finish rubbing off the sleep from my eyes and brushing off the black hair strand stuck in my mouth I peak my head out of the covers. While staring into the celling, waiting for the moment I have enough courage to leave my warm bed, I hear two calm knocks on my doorframe like there were right on cue.
“Good morning love, come help me with breakfast when you’re ready~” I hear my mom call out as she walks away from the doorframe.
I sit up on my bed and I admire the sunrays peak through my window. Little particles of dust dancing in the stationary air as they bathe in the sunlight.
I walk over to my closet and change into my freshly clean school uniform. It’s your typical sailor middle school uniform with the red bow tie, white shirt with a blue collar and a matching blue skit to go with it. I make sure I wash it every night so it dries overnight. I briefly enjoy the softness of the fabric as I straighten the skirt with my hands, getting rid of any wrinkles that were created when I put it on.
Now that I’m dressed, I head over to the mirror. I stare back at my reflection, my messy from sleep black hair begging to be brushed.
My hair has always been pretty boring. It has no color and no texture, not to mention that its so short that I can’t do any fun hair styles with it. Not that I have tried any. Maybe I can try something today?
As I think that, I open a box of ribbons I’ve been collecting for years but never worn. I first try on a big red bow, I then try a blue one, and then a bright pink ribbon but they all make me look stupid. This is stupid.
You’re stupid.
I finish trying on my last ribbon which is a white thin ribbon. This one I put it across my head like a hair band. It looks okay I guess but what would people say? I bet they wouldn’t stop pointing it out and making fun of me.
“That looks cute! Are you wearing that?” I get startled by my dad’s voice. I turn around to see him frozen in his tracks as he was walking pass my bedroom door.
“I’m not sure…?” I tried to say no but something about his loving and warming smile told me that I wanted to hear his reply to my hesitation.
“You should” he simply said and then left.
Dad would never lie to me and if he thinks that I look cute with it then I guess the ribbon isn’t that stupid.
Maybe I should wear it.
I think I will.
--
After deciding to leave the ribbon on and finish getting reading for school, I head downstairs and help my mom by setting the table while she prepares breakfast. I see my dad sitting on the TV-couch with his laptop and a bunch of work documents scattered all over the coffee table. We all are busy with our morning tasks while the morning local news is playing on the background.
First it was politics news but I’m too young to care and stress about that yet so I don’t really pay attention to it. Then it’s the bad story news which this time was something about how the police just arrested an abusive father who hurt his kids physically and mentally.
What a way to start the morning. Did the news anchors really need to say such graphic and gruesome details?
As always a feel-good story gets told right after, this time is about some rescued stray-kitty-siblings that were adopted by this high school girl or something, I honestly didn’t pay enough attention to it, I couldn’t stop thinking about the prior story.
I try to picture it but I can’t imagine my dad turning violent on me and doing me harm, how could any dad do that to his kids? The idea of not only not having my mom but also getting physically harmed by my dad made me feel nauseous.
“Darling. Stop playing with your food, you’re going to be late.” My mom snaps me out of my dark train of thought.
That’s right, my parents are both here and they will never hurt me no matter what. They love me and will protect me. I don’t have to worry about any of that. But I actually do worry because I’m about to be late if I don’t hurry up and eat. And with that I devour my food as fast as I can without getting a stomach ache.
--
“Ittekimasu!” I yell at my mom as I close the front door feeling the cool but not cold spring air hit my skin.
“Itterasshai!” I hear my mom faintly yell back to me.
I head down the streets on my way to school. As I walk I take in my surroundings; I hear some birds singing, some cars driving by, some other kids heading to school and some old lady gossip. I pay extra close attention to the gossip. Ever since I started walking to school on my own I realized that I didn’t know much about the world outside of my notebooks so this is the only way I keep up with the world beside the morning news my dad puts every other day.
Today’s gossip isn’t the usual though. The ladies are also talking about that horrible gruesome story the local morning news covered, I hear them talk among themselves how they actually knew the wife before she committed suicide.
“I don’t think she did” one of them comments while looking over her shoulder as if she was about to say her most guarded secret, “and with the most recent news I’m pretty sure he killed her.” She finishes while nodding her head as a matter of fact.
Gasps roar among the ladies and I find myself gawking at the possibility as well.
“He wouldn’t do that” one interrupts the buzzing gossiping that had been unleashed. “The husband was really in love. She was his whole world. I wouldn’t be surprise if he went crazy with grief because of her death.” She tries to defend the man from the accusation of killing his own wife.
The ladies continue their gossiping but by now I’m too far to hear it anymore. My thoughts remain stuck in that conversation while I make my way to school. A husband so overwhelmed with grief that he took it out on his own flesh and blood that he raised since they were babies.
Imagine being the kids, they were around my age if I recall correctly. Just thinking about how I could be living that nightmare makes me feel sick to my stomach. Not only were they dealing with the loss of their mother, but also the loss of their father. The pain and the fear they must have felt while seeing their dad turn into that monster as the days went by. The uncertainty of being chosen as the punching bag that day. The hopelessness and loneliness they must have felt.
Thinking about it almost feels too real. I feel my palms become sweaty and my heartbeat drowning any noise from the outside world. I urge myself to take in deep breaths and to remember that that is not my life. That my dad is not like that.
Thank the gods that my dad is not like that.
--
I arrive to school and I see Nana and her group waving at me, waiting for me at the front gate. They tell me to call them my friends but I’m not used to having those yet. You see, I’ve always focused on school and academics first and I never gave the idea of having friends even a consideration so this is all really new to me.
Nana is my favorite of the 3, she’s the one I can easily talk to. Turns out she and I are pretty similar in the sense that we both like to be right and get in fights because of it. Of course, she gets into physical ones while I only do intellectual ones…. for the most part. Look, it wasn’t my fault that one time with Yukine.
Sure, I did throw in the first punch but he started it when he said I copied from him. Well, he really didn’t said it, but he insinuated it and if you ask me that’s more than enough reason to get punched. Besides I would never copy him. I don’t need his second-best-in-school answers because I have my own first-best-in-school answers, so ha!
According to him he caught me “starring” at him “several” times which is not true. Why would I stare? Maybe he was in my field of vision but that doesn’t even make sense because just the sight of him is annoying, it always has been. Ever since we were 6 with his “I’m going to one-up you” attitude he always had with me. Ugh, so annoying!
And there’s nothing about him worth looking at either. There’s nothing eye-catching about physique like his unusual golden locks. And why on earth would I stare at someone who is so focused in whatever test question he’s answering that you can’t help but admire his soft expression as he solves the math problem? It doesn’t make sense.
It kind of does.
Whatever.
But all that is in the past now and if I’m being honest I’m really happy I fought with Yukine. Because of that fight I met Nana and her fraternal twin brother Shiigun and I’m also closer to Yukine now than before. My life has definitely become a lot more fun than before.
Thanks to Yukine’s better social skills I get better along with everyone in school including teachers and staff. I really like that about him. I think that’s the main reason why he is so nice to me too. I really admire him for it.
Yukine and I are still rivals though, don’t get me wrong. We are still argue and fight but now we know each other a little bit better so we know that we don’t have to be better than the other at everything. Even though I will always better than him in academics even he says otherwise. I’ll let him have his spotlight with social stuff.
--
The lunch bell rings and I immediately take out my study notebook and start studying for history, the exams are next week and I need to be the best. I would prefer to do homework right now but there isn’t enough time to properly do it so a quick overview of history will do for now. I can always do homework in the comfort of my home where no one can bother or distract me.
“-chan you need to give it a rest. It’s not good for you.” Nana interrupts my study time as she rests her hand over my notes to take my attention.
“Both you and Yukine are overkills, I swear you guys are the biggest nerds in the whole school- no, the whole world!” Shiihgun has a talent to sting me where it hurts. I know he doesn’t mean it in a mean way but I’ve always been insecure about how I’m perceived by others and he doesn’t help one bit.
I try to laugh it off as I’ve seen Yukine do it before since I’m guessing that’s what I’m supposed to do. I hope my laugh seems genuine and not painful or forced. Please, don’t let my discomfort show.
Yukine turns my way as we’re laughing off Shiigun’s mean joke. I guess acting isn’t my thing because as soon as our eye meet he casually makes his way to my desk, leans in (invading my personal space if you ask me) and in a whispers tells me that he thinks it’s pretty cool of us to be the biggest nerds of the whole world. If the coolest kid in school says so then I guess we are pretty cool.
I realize that I’m too distracted to focus back on studying and Nana has a point I need the break, so I guess I’ll take her advice and rest during lunch time. As I start putting my notebooks away I realize that I forgot to pack my bento box. I guess I was too distracted when I left home this morning.
“Eeh?! You forgot your bento?” I wanted to pretend that I didn’t forget my bento, that I wasn’t looking for it and that I wasn’t hungry but apparently once again my acting skills failed me because now Nana saw right through me.
“I didn’t forget it. I’m trying to eat less.” I poorly try to act casually. Maybe I should stop acting.
“Here. Have one.” Yukine offers me one of his onigiri. “I always bring enough to share.” He reassures me as he notice my hesitation.
I reach my hand out to take the onigiri, as I do I start smelling a scent. A scent with the smell of… toothpaste? That’s weird.
I take a bite of the onigiri and I’m reminded of that winter afternoon where Yukine sneaked freshly made onigiri from his home to share with me. I remember how we ate them under a bridge while I did paper boats out of leaves and trash that I found under the bridge. I remember that I was feeling upset for some reason, what was the reason? Something to do with my dad? But…. I wasn’t even friends with Yukine in winter.
This doesn’t make sense.
I shake off the confusion and decide to focus on the argument Nana is having with Yukine about who would win in a physical fight. I would bet this onigiri that Nana would beat Yukine.
--
After a long day in school where I couldn’t study as much as I would have wanted I thought I would have gone straight home to study everything that I couldn’t during the day but instead I’m walking in the direction of the river bank on my way to play badminton with Nana, her brother and Yukine. As I was getting ready to head home Nana stopped me and asked me to come with them.
I wasn’t sure at first if I should go but Yukine told me that if second best in school was taking some time to have fun then the best could also do the same.
On our way to the river bank I try to make some casual conversation with Yukine so I ask him what made them invite me to come along with them.
“We always wanted to invite you- well, I always insisted on inviting you. But you always seems busy.” Yukine explains.
“I was also busy today.” I challenged his logic.
“But not busy enough to say no.” he retorted with a cheeky attitude. After I gave him a look with an eyebrow raised he continued “But also last week this homeless creepy dude approached us asking if he could be our fourth player so we want to avoid him getting any ideas.”
“Was the dude in his twenties, had black hair, bright blue eyes, and wore a smelly sweaty dark track suit?” the image of the dude suddenly popped in my head with such a clarity that I had to ask.
Yukine looked at me with an extremely puzzled look. “No… Where did you get that from? Is there someone like that where you live?”
Now that I think about it, the man I just describe isn’t anyone that I know or seen. I wonder where did I get that mental image in my head. I must have seen him on TV.
“I don’t know..”
--
As we’re approaching the river bank we make a quick stop for snacks. The store where we stopped by is owned by a very lovely and young married couple. Yukine tells us that he sometimes works here on weekends helping move the heavy stuff and because of that he gets free snacks whenever he comes by.
“Yuki! You came!” A young lady with bright pink hair yells out in excitement as she rushes to bear-hug Yukine. I’m guessing that’s one of the owners.
“Yuki! Great timing! Can you help out this Saturday? The roof needs to be repaired.” A scary looking man asks while he gets the young lady off Yukine.
It seems that Nana and Shiigun also know this odd couple because it takes them no time to start chatting amongst themselves. Because of that I start doing what I usually do and entertain myself with whatever catches my eye.
I first focus on the discount signs they have scattered in different parts of the background, I then notice how they have some fresh fruit as well but what really catches my eye is the magazine and newspaper shelf they have, one usually doesn’t see those anymore and even less in a small store such as this one.
I start reading the magazine covers and I eventually drift to the headlines. As soon as I do I feel my heart drop.
It’s that news again.
To be fair, it’s to be expected. It was in the morning news after all. But that doesn’t make it any better. While I read that particular newspaper I notice that there’s more details about that story than what I had already heard in the street gossip and in the morning news. Now I’m learning that the man actually killed the daughter who was my age and the older brother manage to run away and he was the one that call the authorities.
Props to the journalist that wrote this thought because it feels so real that it feels like I’m actually that girl that got killed. Good thing that my father is a sane person, that my mother is alive and well and that I don’t actually have a brother.
“-chan, they are talking to you.” For the third time today I get startle back into reality. I turn around to see Nana who grabbed my shoulder to get my attention.
“What?” I asked confused turning to look at the pink hair lady who I guess was the one that talked to me.
“Say hi to Yato-chan for me!” She excitedly and with confidence said as she waved us goodbye.
Yato-chan?
“Bye Kofuku! Bye Daikoku! Thanks for the football!” Yukine yells back as we leave the store owners flirting to each other.
I try to question Kofuku’s comment but between everyone else already walking away, the already said goodbyes and my confusion I couldn’t say anything. Why did she talk to me like she knew me? Why did no one else think that was weird? And who is Yato-chan?
--
We arrive at the river bank and Shiigun and Yukine start playing with the football apparently Daikoku gave Yukine while Nana and I set up the badminton net. Nana instructs me where to stand with the other side of the net and then teaches me how to anchor the net on the grass.
“Come on, guys. We’re ready.” Nana calls out as she goes to the bags she and Shiigun carried out here to take out the rackets and the bird so we could start playing a match. As she calls out I finish anchoring the net to the grass. I would be lying if I said I wasn’t having fun being out here with my friends, just hanging out. I might even say that this is more fun that history homework.
Might.
I approach Nana and Yukine who were already tossing a coin to choose who got what side of the net. Shiigun had gone to retrieve the ball that had been accidentally kicked far.
“Look out!” I hear Shiigun panic at the top of his lungs followed by a hit to my head that knocked me down so hard and fast that I didn’t get a chance to do anything other than fall like a wood plank. My vision went black, my consciousness faded as I heard Nana and Yukine faintly scream my name.
--
Get up.
I hear a high pitched ring in my ear, the throbbing headache bringing me back to my senses. I know I need to get up but a piercing pain in my back freezes all my movements. The hard cold floor isn’t doing any favors either.
Get up now.
The cold wind hits my skin as I reach my arm up to feel my head.  I feel a warm liquid gushing through somewhere in my skull but I can’t really feel exactly where. I wish I could become more aware of myself than before but between the sharp pain in my back and the dizziness this headache is giving me I decide that I should probably go back to sleep and not think about the pain.
You’re going to die.
A jolt of electricity rushes through my spine. My eyes shoot open as if I were to die if I kept them close for a second longer. My body is screaming in pain as I try to sit upright.
Between the grunts and cries of pain that scape my mouth my eyes start noticing things that… I’m pretty sure they weren’t there before.
There’s a man standing over me. He looks like he’s in his late teens even though he feels older. As he’s wiping his sweat and what it looks like blood from his jaw with the back of his left hand I notice that his hair resembles a lot to an almond.
He doesn’t look injured where he’s wiping the blood so… whose blood is it?
I glance at his right hand and I see him holding a long black staff-looking thing. The staff is thin and black with a spiral form on one of its ends. It looks very rigid even though it feels like it can be bend and molded if it so desired. I notice that the same end that looks alive was dripping with blood.
My blood?
I turn back to this man’s face and I realize that he’s been looking directly at me this all time. His eyes move to focus on the different parts where I feel the most pain as if he were looking at something worth admiring. He then turns his eyes and looks directly at mine. His expression turns into what an angry but disappointed father would look like. As he did that I felt disgusted at myself. Is he upset that I got injured? But he did this to me!
That’s right. Father did this. I started recalling everything that happened before I lost conciseness. Memories come flooding back increasing the pain that I feel from the headache. After I had arrived with Hiyori to where Father and Yato were fighting- Father was so angry. He was so… ready to kill Yato. It felt terrifying but also familiar. It felt like those times where Father punished me for Yato’s behavior but somehow this time it was worse.
I don’t know what came over me when I rushed in and pushed Yato out of the way. Maybe I just wanted to return the favor of all those times he took the bullet for me or maybe I didn’t want to see him get hurt again at the hands of Father. Maybe I just didn’t want to deal with Hiyori after the fight, maybe I just wanted someone to get the life that they wish to have.
But now look at me. I don’t even know if Yato is even alive, I left Hiyori’s side and now I’m even wishing the end of this endless torture. Everything I do, everything I am is a waste.
Pathetic.
Hiyori said I’m allowed to make mistakes, that I’m human. I’m not and I never was. The bare thought of making a mistake and being looked down upon eats me up inside until my outer shell breaks leaving me no other place else to hide.
I wish I could let myself believe that excuse, I wish I could believe in myself, believe that it’s okay to not be perfect, that its okay to fail, that its okay to not be okay. But the fact that I fail at even accepting the reality that I can’t be perfect goes to show how big of a failure I truly am.
I wish I could blame him for making me think this way but this is all on me and that would have never changed.
I did try to change, that’s why I’m here right now dying at the hands of the one I once called father. I did try to be the person Hiyori wanted me to be. Be myself. I really liked her because of that. That’s why I here instead of her.
Ironic isn’t it? The person I hate the most, the person I fear the most, is the very person I never want to let down. Maybe that’s why I’m always so scared whenever he's near. Scared to be asked, scared of a conversation, scared of not doing what’s expected of me, scared of not being enough, scared of my own shadow, scared of myself.
Maybe I don’t hate him, maybe I just hate me.
I feel whatever this life I’ve had vanishing from existence, not even leaving a dead corpse behind. It’s pretty unfair right? I got two shots at life. Two opportunities. Most don’t even get one. But not me, I got two chances at live and in both I was unwanted, despised and casted aside. Maybe third time’s the charm? If there’s even a third time.
If.
“If only” right? Those are the famous words. If only there was a third chance at life. If only I needed just the first one. If only I didn’t die so young. If only Sakura didn’t showed up. If only she didn’t succumb to god’s greatest secret. If only I had instead.
If only the gods treated me better, if only I didn’t become a nora. If only someone wanted me. If only Yato didn’t rebel. If only I was a better sister to Yato. If only Yato didn’t replace me with Yukine. If only I was less judgmental of Yukine. If only Yukine and I had met while we were both still alive. If only I had friends. If only I went to school. If only I had met my parents. If only father didn’t take me in. If only father accomplished his revenge sooner.
If only I was allowed to live like a normal girl. If only I was born.
.
.
.
But I wasn’t.

Note
I'm sorry if this counts as a retread of your first sensei post, but I laughed at Bang's view of Saitama as a teacher. Not that he's wrong. But do you think he ever figured out what Genos is getting out of his apprenticeship?
I don't think Saitama is ever in any danger of understanding why. It's not immediately obvious even from a great height.
If I had to put a finger on it, I would say that it's because Saitama has nothing to sell Genos.   If you can pay, 'you don't need what I have' are words you will almost never hear out of a  salesman, whether they're selling apples or their experience.  The ones who don't want money are the most dangerous; they're evangelists and really really believe in their solution.  Just about every character has something to sell. If you ask Bang, he has *his* martial arts to sell you.  If you ask Atomic, he has *his* swords skill to sell you.  If you ask Dr. Genus, it's genetic engineering you want. Dr. Kuseno is very successfully selling Genos the benefit of his understanding of mechanical engineering.   Whether it's in an individual's best interests to buy what they're selling, that's not *their* problem.
Saitama is different.
Instead, Saitama has inspired Genos.  Saitama's strength is unphysical. There is no relationship between the power he puts out and his physique.  It is obvious that if you have the right parts, or the right genetics, or the right muscles, or the right abilities, then you will be strong.  Then Saitama comes along and rebukes all that.  Saitama has Something Else.  The idea that that kind of unphysical strength is possible has inspired a guy bound so, so firmly by the bonds of the physical.  Even if he has no idea how to make it happen. Some readers laugh at Genos for trying so hard when some terrible set back is sure to lie in his future. Genos's view point is that you don't achieve transformation by holding back to what is safe. He takes the courage to strive his utmost, each time. And that's hard to do.
As Saitama puts it, "Today too, let's try to break [our limits]."
More profoundly than that, when Saitama takes this incredible strength and lives as an ordinary citizen with great and unfeigned humility, it has left an incredible impression on Genos. The fact that Saitama invited him in, sat him down, gave him a cup of tea and asked him what his problem was has probably been the single biggest impactful moment on Genos's life. He's still been thinking about how to truly reflect Saitama's teachings in his life and for the moment, he's come to the viewpoint that the truest expression of power lies in one's capacity to be kind.
Heavy as doing so is, Genos isn't hesitating to walk forward.
Tumblr media
I don't know if Genos is going to come to a good or a bad end. I don't know if he's going to achieve what he'd deem success. I don't know if he'll find fulfilment or happiness. But I know that he won't stop moving forward thanks to the inspirational example of Saitama.
The courage to chart one's way in life is an incredible one. Most of us turn aside for some safe harbour long before we achieve all that we can.

Somewhere Only We Know
Captain Rex x Reader
Word Count: 2654
Summary: Rex get’s the happy ending he deserves. Based off of the song Somewhere Only We Know by Keane.
Warnings: Okay writing, Fluff, Dad Rex, Dad Rex, Dad Rex, Dad Rex, Dad, Rex, Dad Rex, Dad Rex....
Tumblr media
Finding love was impossible for a clone right? Wrong.
It was never impossible to find love no matter were you came from, or who you were. Rex was once property, he belonged to the republic, bred and raised to be nothing more than a solider that could be disposed and replaced with a snap of a finger. There was no chance of falling in love or feeling like a human when most civvies viewed them as aliens or just clones, not viewed as individual people. They were only soldiers to civilians.
Everything changed when he had met you, a Jedi. The thing he admired about you was not only your beauty but how you treated them, you treated them like they were people, like they were men.
He fell hard for you, as the two of you grew closer that’s when things turned for the better for him.
After the war ended, everything changed for him and his surviving vodes. Rex and his brothers were now free, they no longer felt the burden of being constantly reminded that they were only made to fight, to be just soldiers and nothing more. They felt human, for once they would be able to travel freely throughout the galaxy, be able to settle down and start a life even a family if they were lucky enough.
Rex so happened to be the lucky one, he’d gained the courage to ask you to be his;
And you said yes.
Both you and Rex along with most of his closest brothers from the 501st settled on Naboo. Padme worked hard to get the approval from the senate that all clone troopers were to be given a home on any desired planet they chose to settle.
Instead of being given a home, you and Rex both decided on building one from the ground up. Yes it was questionable at first, but you both just wanted to do something for yourselves for once.
It was worth the struggle, worth the hard work that you both put into your home. Your home was warm and welcoming, not too big and not too small, it suited you both. You specifically wanted your home to be far from the city and Rex agreed. You both decided to locate your home next to a meadow alongside a clear blue river with a medium sized waterfall, greenery with sorts of colorful plants, flowers and plenty of trees. The best part was the sunrises and sunsets that Rex seemed to always watch. He loved watching the sunrises more, it reminded him that he survived, he lived to see another day.
1 Year Later
Rex sat in front of your home on the grass, he rested his chin on his hand, waiting for the sun to rise over the horizon. This fell into a routine, every morning he’d wake up early enough and watch as the dark blue sky would slowly turn into an orange-red shade as the sun risen.
You were woken up from your sleep, feeling the small kicks in your abdomen that was forcing you awake. You looked over to the empty spot of the bed, you smiled to yourself knowing where your lover was. You found it amusing and cute at the same time when Rex would take the time out of his sleep to stand in the cold or warm weather and wait for the sun.
For the past eight months you chose to just sleep in till whenever you’d wake up, it seems today would be different. You sensed that you children were a lot more active than usual, this meant you wouldn’t be able to go back to sleep.
So you decided to join Rex and admire the sunrise. What was interesting was that your un born twins would somehow wake you around this exact time for some unknown reason, right before the sunrise. You didn’t think much about it at first, you’d always end up falling back asleep. You’d like to think they learned the routine of their papa waking up around this time.
You got up slowly from the bed, rubbing the sleep from yours eyes, wincing slightly from your back pain. Carefully you stood up and waddled over to your closet, grabbing your black robe and wrapping it around your body.
You carefully made your way downstairs taking small steps at a time, once you’d reached the bottom of the stairs you rested finding the soreness of your feet and your back taking a massive effect on you. Kix had recommended you to be on bedrest, you went against his wishes and kept yourself on your feet. It felt unnatural having to be forced to do nothing and stay in bed all day.
Opening the front door you saw Rex sitting down on the grass slightly hunched over. Seeing Rex like this warmed your heart, this was a completely different side of him that he never truly had the time to express or shown as often. This made you happy.
A shiver ran down your spine, feeling the cool morning breeze. The breeze caused the front door to slam shut, Rex whipped his head around, tense at first but soon relaxing as his gaze landed on your figure standing on the porch looking at him from afar with a small smile on your face.
Rex scrabbled to his feet, tripping over something he didn’t care much to look back at, he finally met you on the porch.
“Cyare what are you doing up this early?”
“The little ones were quite eager to get the day started earlier than usual...or they just missed you” you smiled, Rex grinned and placed his two hands delicately against your swollen belly, feeling small kicks from your twins now that they sensed their father.
“So much for having force sensitive kids huh?” you joked, resting a hand onto of one of his. Rex snorted, pecking your lips before kneeling down and scrunching up the shirt you were wearing till he could see your bare belly. He started placing delicate kisses and whispering Mando’a into your abdomen:
“Soon mhi'll cuyir able bah emuurir watching haar sunrise together bid a aliit”
You caressed his fuzzy head, adoring how delicate and loving he was being.
Rex looked up at you with adoration in his eyes from where he was kneeling, he stood up and cupped your face with his hand. He leant in and gave you a chaste kiss, resting his forehead against yours. His light brown eyes looked into yours lovingly.
A source of light caught both your attentions, looking over towards the horizon the sun started to slowly rise. It was always a breathtaking sight to see, even if you’ve seen so many times, but it was still astonishing.
The sun rays felt like warm kisses against your skin, it brought light to your surroundings, the sun reflected off of the river, creating a shimmery effect beautifully.
Finally bringing your attention back to Rex, he was already looking at you. The sun had brought saturation to his light brown eyes, brightening them to a beautiful amber color with gold flakes scattered about. His brown skin glowed in the natural lighting, he was beautiful.
Rex was in a daze admiring your beauty, the way the sun perfectly lit your face, enhancing all of your features that he adored.
“What?” You let out a breathy laugh, Rex used the pad of his thumb and lightly rubbed your cheek.
“Nothing” he paused for a moment “You’re just so beautiful cyar’ika” your heart swelled at his compliment, you felt so giddy and bubbly on the inside, something that you’d never felt before till now.
You hummed admiring him, trying to remember every single detail of his face in the sun light. You leant in to his touch, and grinned at him.
“Has anyone told you how handsome you look in the sunlight?”
“No one but you cyare” he smiled, you grabbed both his hands into yours, in-twining your fingers together.
“What do you say we have breakfast?” You rocked on your feet slightly
“What did you have in mind?”
“I could eat almost anything...as long at has chocolate in it” Rex laughed, rolling his eyes playfully
“I see we’re either makin’ chocolate pancakes or waffles again hm?”
“You don’t have to eat the chocolate pancakes or waffles if you don’t want to”
“Aren’t you tired of having chocolate? Why not have something else?”
“Well sorry for my specific cravings, why don’t you ask them instead” You pouted, gesturing to your swollen abdomen.
Rex huffed dramatically before grabbing your face delicately into his hands and started placing kisses all over your face
“Rex!” You giggled, a grin formed on his lips while he continued to kiss your face
Oh how much he just loved you
***
Three months had passed since you brought your two little bundles of joy home. Your son Apollo and your daughter Myra, they both resembled Rex so much. They got Rexs brown skin, eye color, born with a full head of dark curly locks, but the one thing they did inherit from you was the force.
Rex was currently rocking his daughter Myra in his arms, she’d woken up crying which Rex was quick to respond for his ade. Myra was a mini version of Rex while Apollo was a mini version of you. Myra was a light sleeper like her father, which made things a bit more difficult, any sudden noise she’d instantly wake up in a fuss or in a crying fit.
Rex knew he wouldn’t be able to get his baby girl back to sleep, she was wide awake in a fit of little babbles and giggles. Just as Rex thought it couldn’t get anymore complicated Apollo had woken up and started fussing. Rex was quick to check on his son who had quieted down seeing his papa hover over his crib. Apollo looked up at his father and gave him a toothless smile and moved his arms in a happy gesture.
“We don’t wanna wake your buir up do we?” Rex asked softly
Apollo started to kick and squirm, a sign that he wanted to be held.
Rex carefully switched Myra to his left arm, while he scooped up Apollo in his right. Rex lightly bounced them both in his arms to get them both situated in his arms.
Rex had come to realize how his ades would wake up at the same time he use to wake before they were born. They’d wake up early enough before the sun rise everyday since they were brought home. Rex being the incredible buir he is, he spent his early mornings tending to the twins rather than watching the sunrise.
Rex thought momentarily, before he knew it he was halfway down the stairs, navigating himself through the house, and finally opening the front door to the porch as best as he could. He carefully closed the front door with his foot to not startle you awake, Rex made his way down the three steps and walked on the rock pathway over to the spot he’d always sit. He carefully settled down and made himself comfortable on the bench that you both decided on getting two months ago.
The two little bundles babbled and squirmed slightly in his arms. Rex leant down and kissed their small noses that caused them to turn into fits of giggles. He smiled down at the both of them, and looked up just in time to watch the sun make its way up over the horizon as it always did.
Apollo and Myra stopped their fits of giggles to watch the sunrise, even if they were just 2 months old, they found the rising sun interesting. Their little faces brightened seeing the gorgeous, radiating view that made them feel warm inside.
You stirred awake, reaching over to feel for your lover, only to feel a cold and empty spot. You sighed feeling guilty that Rex had to get up this early knowing it was your day to tend to the twins. You walked to the room next door, you poked your head through the door to see no sign of your kids nor Rex. Your mom instincts kicked in, not seeing the three people you loved so dearly gone was a bit concerning, quickly you made your way down the stairs.
Before you could look throughout the house and call out for Rex, you noticed a figure sitting outside through the window
You sighed in relief seeing the man you love, you made your way out the front door and quietly closed it behind you. You took a moment to admire the sight of the beautiful sky, and listen to the little laughs your twins made, along with Rexs voice.
Rex noticed the sudden change in his kids, just by how both Myra and Apollo’s face lightened up and started to move their smalls limbs as to show they were happy or excited, he knew that you were close by, from the corner of his eye you sat next to him. You rested your head on his shoulder and you looked down at your little loves that squirmed in Rexs arms.
You kissed Rexes cheek feeling the texture of stubble on your lips, Rex turned his head slightly to get a glimpse of you.
“Good morning my love” you said softly in your still tired voice.
“Good mornin’ cyare” Rex said softly, leaning in towards you and capturing your lips with his, the twins started making little noises that caught both of your attentions causing you both to pull away from each other. Myra had put her small fingers in her mouth, while Apollo attempted to make grabby hands at you, you stood up in front of Rex and carefully picked Apollo up from Rexs arm, making sure to support his little head and rocked him in your arms.
“Good morning to you my little prince” you said in a playful voice, Apollo attempted to reach up and touch your face with his little hands, you carefully held his hand and kissed his little palm. This caused him to squirm and make incoherent noises, you placed kisses on his little forehead which made him laugh and smile.
Rex smiled at the sight of the two of you. He brought his attention back to his ade who looked up at her papa with those beautiful amber eyes. Rex carefully caressed her small face, rubbing his thumb against her chubby cheek.
Rex still couldn’t believe this was real, his family was real. Everything he’d ever wished for became a reality, the pain, the agony, was all gone.
You sensed Rexs emotions shift, you glanced over at your love and noticed how tears formed at the brim of his eyes. You watched as a single tear slid down his cheek.
You sat down next to him, carefully shifting Apollo in one arm, being sure to support his head. You wiped the tear from his face before grabbing his free hand and bringing it up to your lips, carefully placing delicate kisses against his semi scarred knuckles, then kissing his temple.
You rested your head on his shoulder, while he rested his head on yours.
“Just know you’ve always deserved this kind of life....you’re such an amazing, kind, caring, supportive man” you said softly “and I’m glad that I’ll be spending the rest of my life with you because I love you so so much” Rex felt himself tear up even more “I wouldn’t have it any other way” you finished, his bottom lip trembled, Myra sensed how her papas mood had shifted, on instinct, her little hand wrapped around his thumb. Rex felt his ades little hand wrap around his thumb, just this simple act made his heart swell and he cried happy tears.
Captain Rex finally felt loved.
Translation:
Soon mhi'll cuyir able bah emuurir watching haar sunrise together bid a aliit

eyes in liminality
(also on ao3)
The galaxy sees Obi-Wan Kenobi as the exemplary Jedi of the Order: calm, collected, and carefully detached. The galaxy sees Obi-Wan Kenobi as the aloof, accomplished being that he is reported to be: defeated a Sith when he was but an apprentice; training the Force’s son right after his knighting.
But if the galaxy truly has eyes, it would see that the child Kenobi is in his heart is not quite that much older than the child he carries under his wing. If the galaxy has eyes at all, they would see that deep inside Kenobi’s closet, hidden behind boxes and neatly folded clothing, there lies a redwood box that has not been opened in years. They would see inside the redwood box, where a coppery-auburn braid coils around a late Master’s lightsaber, silently reaching for its green Kyber core.
The galaxy does not have eyes.
——
The Council exits the Chamber of Ceremony in murmured chatter, leaving only the pair of former Master and newly-graduated Knight. Obi-Wan looks to his student, now a grown Jedi, with such pride in his chest that he cannot help but smile. Anakin is flushed and grinning ear-to-ear at him, bathed in the streams of early afternoon light that flow freely through tall windows. For a fraction of a second Obi-Wan wonders what it feels like to be Anakin right now. What it feels like to be knighted by your Master’s own warm hands and have them squeeze your shoulders as you think of a good gift-wrapping sentence to give them the severed braid in your hand.
Anakin fiddles with the golden cord of hair, twists it between his fingers. He has never been able to hide his fidgeting, and it isn’t as though Obi-Wan minds. It’s not quite proper, yes, but it is harmless. And quite endearing, although Obi-Wan would keep this remark to himself.
“Shall we walk back?”
Anakin nods, and shuffles closer to him as they traverse the hallways. Silence is barely noticeable between them, silken as a spring breeze and warm as a morning kiss. Anakin’s hands are firmly tucked into his sleeves, where Obi-Wan imagines he’s still wrapping and unwrapping the Padawan braid around his fingers. Obi-Wan stops himself before he could start wondering to whom Anakin is going to gift it. A Padawan’s severed braid is the most cherished, tangible remnant of their apprenticeship; the physical embodiment of their will and wits; the culmination of years of blood, sweat and tears. It is no small matter to decide who to entrust it, and it is often the case that a newly-knighted Jedi would place it in the hands of their former mentor as a token of gratitude and a treasured memento.
It is a privilege to be able to do so.
But, evidently, it is by no mean a mandatory practice. Some former Padawans do give their braids to their closest friends. Legends even have it that one old Master was known for having encased her braid in amber, like a pendant, and put it around the neck of her beloved varactyl. While uncommon, it isn’t unheard of that a former apprentice gave their Padawan braid to someone other than their Master. It is ultimately the decision of the individual fresh Knight, and they have no obligations to disclose the destinator of their braid nor the reason therefore. It should be keenly noted that not receiving their former apprentice’s Padawan braid does not reflect a failing on the part of the Master.
So Obi-Wan tells himself, when Anakin never comes to him with the golden braid.
It has been months after the ceremony, and he still wakes up some mornings wondering why.
He shouldn’t. It is utterly unbecoming of a Jedi to be so mired in such small matters. He knows better than anyone else that Anakin, his apprentice, his student, his friend, and often his mission partner, does not owe it to him. The fact that he is not Anakin’s first choice only means that somebody else has been cherishing Anakin better than he did. That is not, strictly, a Master’s failure. A personal failure, perhaps, but such a line of thoughts is unbearable and so opposed to the Code that Obi-Wan has little choice but to forfeit it. Moving on and living in the present is the only way, especially for a Jedi Master of his station.
And if he cannot, if the buried wounds fester and ache on lonesome starless night, then he has only himself to blame.
——
“Knight Skywalker… Skywalker!”
“I’m sorry,” Anakin dodges a hapless stranger who’s caught in the chase. He hops towards the stairs. “I need to go. I swear I’ll be back by this evening!”
“You have never kept that kind of promise in your life!” The healer who’s chasing after him is breathless and exasperated and, well, angry, although anger is unbefitting of a Jedi. “Knight Skywalker, come back here!”
“Sorry!” Anakin yells, without much thought, climbing over the spiral stairway’s railings. He drops himself down. Air reels through his hair as he free-falls, and he lands on his feet, only mildly aching where his shoulder has just been bandaged.
The ground is a little dented, but that’s not his problem.
He dashes across the corridor and catches a lift tube before the healer can send someone after him. Usually, this is where they give up - no use wasting so much time and effort on a runaway patient when there are plenty others in need - and Anakin is fairly sure this time it is the case too. He just has to be safe. He needs proper time, this time.
Because Obi-Wan has just gotten back to the Temple, and Anakin is finally ready.
He can just follow his Master’s light - he can do that even when they’re separated on an unknown mountainous planet covered in perennial fog, much less here in the Temple where the Force sings in their veins. He runs so fast he’s nearly gliding through the air, feet barely touching the ground. Obi-Wan’s signature beckons him in the most innocuous way, their bond glowing despite the conclusion of his apprenticeship about half a year ago. Maybe it’s because he hasn’t done what all former Padawans are meant to do; although Anakin doubts the dissolution of a decade-long mental link is as simple as giving away one piece of yourself. He’s going to do that now, in any case.
(He hopes that doesn’t do anything to their bond, really.)
The door to their quarters slide open and Anakin hurries in, already smiling to feel Obi-Wan so near. Obi-Wan’s pack is still on the couch, and his shuffling in the kitchenette can be heard all the way from the main door. Anakin makes a beeline for it.
“Master,” he greets, so sure that Obi-Wan has also picked up on his presence that it surprises him a little to see Obi-Wan turn around slightly wide-eyed as if unaware. Still, his Master nods with the subtlest smile under his whisker and a tilt of the head. And then immediately he furrows his brows.
“Anakin, those are infirmary robes. Did you just—”
Anakin cuts in; there’s no time. “I have something I need to give to you.”
Obi-Wan stares at him for a blank moment. “Is it something so important that you felt the need to cut your own treatment short for?” He gestures, eyes already intent on the bandages peeking out from under the too-loose vee of Anakin’s tunic.
“It is.” Anakin nods firmly.
He bids Obi-Wan to stay and wait and disappears into his bedroom. He’s kept it in a little leather pouch with suede drawstrings; dark and nothing elaborate, but sturdy and waterproof. He would have embroidered it if he had the time; although, if he thinks about it, it might be better this way, purely practical in a way that Obi-Wan would have appreciated more. Anakin’s not sure, really. He is working himself into nervousness and he needs to get out of this room before his courage fails him in the most crucial moment.
His Master is still standing in wait in the middle of the living room by the time he returns. Briefly Anakin wonders why Obi-Wan doesn’t take a seat; but there isn’t any time to question that now.
(Maybe if Anakin is any less distracted by the fluttering in his stomach, he would have noticed Obi-Wan’s hands bunched beneath his great sleeves, the way he always does to hide his own anxiety.)
He positions himself before Obi-Wan, almost stilted with his sudden compulsion for solemnity. He blinks, and smiles, and he thinks he has whispered Here it is, or he might’ve only thought the words and hoped Obi-Wan heard them too. Either way, he opens the pouch, gingerly pulls out the item. He takes Obi-Wan’s hand, and presses into it a bracelet.
A bracelet made of Anakin’s braid.
Gentle light sheens on the golden cord. Strung onto it are a few Japor beads that has taken Anakin quite some time to find. They rest snugly against the old bands - red, for piloting, and blue, for mechanics - that Obi-Wan has tied on with his own hands years ago. The ends of the braid are secured with lightsaber-steel caps and connected to a clasp. It lies serenely against the valley of Obi-Wan’s palm, almost glowing in the early afternoon sun.
Silence. Anakin peeks at his former Master’s face from under his lashes, chewing the inside of his mouth. He’ll be the first to admit that he has gone the unusual route. He can already imagine some other Master calling it frivolous, even. Not that he cares. He doesn’t care about anybody’s possible comment or side-eye at this moment, or ever. Just Obi-Wan’s.
And Obi-Wan’s eyes are wide and his lips are parted, but that is about it. Although surprise has never shown itself so blatantly on Obi-Wan’s face, it’s still such an understated display. Anakin’s bravery is slowly seeping down the drain, his heart thumping madly all the way to his trembling fingertips.
“I, uh, I made it,” he says, just to say something. Obi-Wan’s lashes flutter as if he is only blinking himself awake then. Anakin swallows thickly, and continues, “I figured that, um, this way, you could wear it if you wanted to. You don’t have to wear it, of course! You can keep the pouch. I mean you can keep it with the pouch. Keep it in the pouch.” Anakin winces, tripping over his words. “I’m not going to take it back, it’s still my Padawan braid which you—”
“Thank you, Anakin.” Obi-Wan smiles, and Anakin freezes. His Master’s warm hand with all of its familiar calluses closes around his own, squeezing around his knuckles in a clear display of affectedness. There’s that flush across Obi-Wan’s face too, tinting his ears pink.
“You’re welcome. Sorry it took so long.” Anakin grins, even as the corners of his lips wobble and his eyes sting because Obi-Wan is unclasping the bracelet right then and there. He intercepts. “Here, Master, let me put it on for you.”
So he takes Obi-Wan’s hand and he rolls down the undertunic sleeve a little bit; he secures the braid around his Master’s wrist and he pulls the sleeve above it, safely concealing that part of himself on Obi-Wan’s person. He pats the spot and can’t bring himself to pull away.
Obi-Wan doesn’t, either. He leaves out a moment before speaking up so tenderly: “Anakin?”
“I just…” Anakin struggles. He lingers in the liminality between apprenticeship and knighthood even as they stand as equals, tethering himself onto the former Master with whom his bond still shines. “I need a moment.”
Obi-Wan holds his, and now both of their hands are linked together, fingers upon fingers, closing around each other like layers of mutual protection. Their hands are about the same size now, aren’t they? There was a time when his whole spread hand would fit into Obi-Wan’s palm like a tiny starfish, no more. Anakin brushes a thumb over this one scar on the back of Obi-Wan’s hand. He can’t remember who saved whose life that time. It’s not like there is a difference, anyway.
“...So do I,” says Obi-Wan, so quietly. Something wavers in his voice and glistens in his eyes and Anakin can see it. Anakin sees it all.
——
Perhaps, the galaxy does have eyes.

2023
Time is an element that can generate contradictory feelings, in barely a millisecond it can change your life without you even realising it.
His surroundings were full of uncertainty, the foundations he had laid in the years that followed had just cracked, offering him a blank map for his future. Just a few seconds ago his destiny was shared with the person who had saved him from his darkness, from his inner demons, yet that person seemed to have lived a life in which he had not been present.
A few yards away sat an individual on a bench near the lake, his changed appearance suggesting that time had passed over his features, but he had no doubt that it was him. Sam, standing firmly by his side, approached him first, for he himself did not know if he had the courage to face the situation. A brave choice, he thought, as well as a bold one, but always made from the heart, as was everything his old friend did.
A knot formed in his stomach, wondering why the decision had been made, and only the word 'love' connected to the name 'Peggy Carter' came to mind. His eyes glazed over as a shy smile formed at the corners of his lips, prompting him to consider the life Steve had had.  His good fortune to be able to return to the past and to have lived with the person he truly loved gave him a sense of well-being filled with anger at himself. It was an opportunity that he had contemplated and wished for during his years of lucidity and which he had firmly recognised was merely impossible.
His hands balled into fists inside his jacket pockets relaxed as he watched Sam, after a few minutes, rise from the bench, inviting him to take his place. Bucky bit the inside of his lower lip nervously as he ducked his head, watching his restless feet. Sam positioned herself next to him, placing her hand on his shoulder, their eyes made a brief connection in which hundreds of words were exchanged, but he knew it would be alright after observing Sam's relaxed countenance.
A nod to himself and again he formed a fist in his hands and slowly approached the stone bench, where a figure sat with his back to him at all times. Whitish grey hair was visible in his hair, accompanied by a slightly hunched back. They barely looked at each other, for there was so much to express that it was better not to say anything. Their eyes were absorbed in contemplating the horizon reflected in the blue waters of the lake.
The peace in the air slowed Buck's heartbeat and he let the air out of his lungs with a sigh. Steve kept his hands folded in his lap, the wrinkles expressing the long existence he had had. His friend couldn't help but turn his gaze slightly towards them, causing a feeling of gratitude to settle over him, for the fact that after so long Steve had returned to them meant so much.
"I have to admit she was a really beautiful woman," said Steve, causing the silence to break at last. His voice was faint and had changed over the years.
Bucky smiled quizzically as his eyes roamed over the face of his friend, who was still staring straight ahead. His mind recalled with a hint of difficulty the figure of Sergeant Carter, but the fact was that she was blissful in beauty, as well as in ruggedness and courage. Before he could admit it and agree with his partner, however, Steve intervened again.
"I didn't have the pleasure of knowing her, but she sure was a great woman," Steve's blue eyes, over which his expression lines fell, made a connection with Bucky's, which after hearing those words became impassive.
A lump in his throat formed as his pupils dilated and became watery with the multiple feelings he was feeling. In no instant would she have expected those words to come from Steve. Talking about her out loud, even remembering her in his mind, generated a lot of pain inside him, but the fact that his friend had seen her or knew about her, due to his return to the past, and remembered her after so long was a fact to be thankful for.
Steve didn't mean Peggy Carter, no, he meant Michelle.
"I couldn't help it, it wasn't my duty to do it either" he urged turning back to gaze at the horizon "But you can change the course of your future."
Steve's trembling hands parted to pull an object from inside his jacket, Bucky was still at a loss for words but he was paying attention to his old friend's every gesture. A large white envelope, that was what he pulled out, its size was similar to that of a sheet of paper, however inside it seemed to contain a series of documentation, barely visible due to its opacity. The aged hands handed him the envelope, which James looked at with suspicion and fear of what might be inside it.
"What is this?" a trickle of a voice came from within him, hesitating to ask the question.
"That which will give answers to your many doubts."
Steve placed his hand on Bucky's back, trying to comfort him and give him strength to face the path that was about to begin, and that unfortunately he could not be by his side "Now it is your choice. In those documents you will find all the information gathered by SHIELD, from the HYDRA documents to the present day" he turned to his right and picked up a white box. "I suppose you'll want to have this as well."
The uncertainty that had been wandering in his mind for the last few years might cease to exist the moment he opened that white packet, but was he really ready to face his greatest fears, those that had kept him from sleeping peacefully for years and that still lay before him when he was awake?
Time seemed to stand still, neither of them uttering another word on the subject at hand, yet their closeness spoke volumes. Bucky's hand clenched tightly around the envelope, trying to contain all the rage that burned inside him. He hesitated whether to open it now or wait, wait until he had the courage to fight, but he had waited so long for that moment that he decided to open it, releasing his worst fears.
Inside it coexisted a series of documents, gathered in a folder of light blue colour, he extracted it presenting it in front of his own eyes and emphasizing what some red letters informed that it would be its content.
"PROJECT LIEUTENANT WELLS - CONFIDENTIAL FILES"
His jaw closed impassively as his right hand clenched into a fist and he would say it to his lips in an attempt to stop a sob. His eyes closed, for as he himself had predicted, he did not feel up to the task of coping with all that it meant.
Steve, who was watching the situation closely without having taken his hand off his friend's back, said those words that would always be true: "I'm With You Till The End Of The Line".

Skeletor Ain’t Heavy
Two brothers seek out a community, and Wrong Hordak reflects on the past. More Skeletor stories, if you want ‘em!
*
Two brothers walked the hallways of Bright Moon palace. They were Horde clones, cautious, curious, and concerned.
“Are you sure this is the right way? I’m certain we passed that decorative waterfall twice already,” the shorter clone complained. He had swept-back ears, and two extra eyes that would never open.
“Don’t be rude,” the other chided. Tired wrinkles hung at the corners of his eyes and mouth, but he shared the same chestnut shade of hair as his brother.
“Not only do you trespass in my domain, but you insult me as well! I know the way, I’ve been there before,” squawked the gangly robot guiding them. He strutted purposefully ahead before halting at an arched entryway. “Ha! Here it is! Now, with this magic spell, we shall open a gateway to an evil, little-known dimension!”
He knocked on the door. It swung open.
Wrong Hordak stood on the other side, bouncing on his feet and wearing an effervescent grin. “Hello, Skeletor!” he said to the robot. “And welcome, brothers! Please, come in!”
The exuberant clone stepped aside and beckoned the other two through the door. They followed, and found themselves in a modest space filled with a number of other Horde clones. The flock milled comfortably about the room, striking up conversations, taking fruit slices and coffee from a table in the back, and gradually getting settled around an open ring of chairs.
“Is it your first time here?” Wrong Hordak asked.
The older clone nodded. “Yes. I am named Sunder, and this is Zed. Skeletor told us about your support group for former members of the Horde. May we join you?”
“Of course!” Wrong Hordak beamed and motioned for the newcomers to join the circle. As they did so, the only other person in the room who wasn’t a clone — a prim-looking lizard — quirked an eyebrow in Skeletor’s direction.
Double Trouble, a plate of honeydew in hand, sauntered over to where Wrong Hordak stood. “I thought Skeletor left with the princesses on that big interdimensional field trip?” they whispered, bemused.
“Oh, he couldn’t find a pet sitter for Relay,” Wrong Hordak replied, gesturing to a small robotic puppy sitting happily on a pillow in the corner. Skeletor gathered it up lovingly and almost seemed to smile.
“Stop licking my face, you dratted dog!” Skeletor whined as Relay greeted him enthusiastically. “Gah! You’re drowning me!”
He made no motion to put the mechanical mutt down.
“What? But that doesn’t… oh, never mind.” Double Trouble sighed and wrapped themself around Wrong Hordak’s arm. “In that case, darling, we may as well get started. I want to hear from the fresh meat!”
They joined the group. Wrong Hordak gave a short clap to bring the session to order, and the ring of clones hushed. They watched him expectantly.
“Welcome, everyone!” Wrong Hordak began. “Thank you for coming. Today we are joined by two new friends. Brothers, are you willing to share your stories with us?”
Zed nodded. “We’ve been living in the Crimson Waste since the end of the war, under Huntara’s protection. We were both on the Velvet Glove when it became, ah…”
“The Space Tree,” one of the other clones supplied.
“…The Space Tree, thank you. I am — was — being grown as Horde Prime’s next holy vessel. But I decanted prematurely when he was defeated by She-Ra.” Zed looked guiltily away from the others. “I have never known a world without freedom from Prime. Yet his evil will always mark me.”
“Whereas I,” Sunder continued, “served the Galactic Horde for many years, and committed many atrocities in Prime’s name. There was even a time when I imagined myself his top general, though I have since learned that this was a lie he told to many of us.”
Several of the clones nodded sympathetically.
Sunder touched the wrinkles on his face. “But even we clones grow old. I was scheduled to be decommissioned, until Prime fell and awakening came upon us all. His death granted me new life.”
“Hello, Sunder!” the group greeted in cheerful unison. “Hello, Zed!”
“Thank you for sharing, brothers,” Wrong Hordak commended. “Is there anything you wish to ask of us?”
Sunder shifted uncomfortably in his seat. “There is. I came here because I want to know… how can I live with what I have done? How do any of us atone for the pain we caused under Prime’s control? We’ve worked as hard to heal the planet as anyone, but is it enough?”
“And how can we be sure never to harm anyone else?” Zed cut in. “How do I know I will not make the same mistakes that created Prime?”
“My goodness! Such pathos,” muttered Double Trouble, not unkindly.
“I also have this fear,” one of the clones volunteered. “My sleep cycle is often interrupted by unpleasant fantasies. I imagine myself saying, ‘If Horde Prime created me in hatred, am I not doomed to hate?’”
Wrong Hordak nodded in understanding. “It is not shameful to have such thoughts. And I also know what it is like to have memories that… no longer give me pride.” He narrowed his eyes. “I served Horde Prime in many battles on many planets before I met the liberator Entrapta and her friends. Regretfully, I can remember most of them.”
“Yes, I have such memories too,” said Sunder. “Sometimes I wish they could still be taken away from me, but I know that is not the way.” The old clone had an earnest expression. “Please, what rituals may I perform to calm the storm inside my mind?”
“I have found that nothing works for every one of us without error,” Wrong Hordak replied, glancing around at the gathered individuals. “Yet for many of us it is beneficial to think of choosing love instead of hatred. It is not an easy task, of course, but it is still our greatest power, to choose.”
“You are who you choose to be,” Double Trouble stated sagely, their features flickering for a few moments.
“As for my memories,” Wrong Hordak went on. He took a deep breath, as if he had been pondering what he was about to say next for a long time.
“Looking back, I find most of my life acceptable and good — and most of it I wouldn’t change. I can see the surprise in your face! But yes, I would choose the same progenitors, the same siblings, whatever their flaws or mistakes. I would fall in love with the same person and plan the same future.”
He shared a warm look with Double Trouble. “So the regrets — and there are many of them — are not a rejection of fate. They are essentially hindsight. If I know them.”
Wrong Hordak spoke the if with conviction.
“Now certainly, if I had just been decanted, knowing what I know now, I would have behaved differently. I might imagine that I should have done this, could have become that, and my life would have been richer, more governed by love and concern for others, more full of life, spirit, humor, adventure, experimentation, risk-taking.”
He gave Double Trouble another knowing glance. “However, in those moments I am looking at my life as the director of a play might look at the script. They might say ‘cut that awful scene’ or ‘have him act more compassionately.’ But they are the director. They know the end of the story! Whereas I, an actor, had to grope along, trying to find the right way, and trying to find the courage to do what I should have done.”
Wrong Hordak sighed. “So now, I suppose I have to forgive myself for being a messy infant. For being afraid of bullies, for not understanding others, for wasting time, for feeling negative and discouraged, for not expressing love more effectively, for not opening myself to the experience of what others were willing to give me.”
Zed and Sunder were leaning forward, listening intently. Nevertheless, something in their expressions still seemed uncertain.
“I don’t understand,” the older clone ventured. “Wouldn’t you still change the past if you could?”
“And how do you know what to do now?” Zed added.
“I don’t,” Wrong Hordak shrugged. “I have imagined, if there were an all-powerful being, and they told me, ‘Very well, I shall grant you another try,' and if I lived the same life over, only better, what would happen? At the end, would I feel satisfied? Proud?”
“Yes?” Sunder tried.
“Maybe?” Zed guessed.
“I would not,” Wrong Hordak replied, gently. “Because there would still be an entire universe of variables! As a result of the experience of the second attempt I would only cry out, ‘I’ve failed again! Now, as a result of the second attempt, I clearly see how it should have gone! Oh please, let me stay for one more try!’”
Sunder contemplated this. “And how would your hypothetical omnipotent being respond?”
“They would say, ‘It is no use, Wrong Hordak. Nothing can be perfect. The third attempt would only bring an increase in wisdom and a completely new set of regrets.’”
Zed and Sunder sat back as they took this in. Then they looked at each other, and seemed to reach an unspoken agreement.
“I believe we have much to discuss,” Sunder said eventually.
“Do you meet at the same time every week?” Zed asked.
Wrong Hordak smiled.
*
Later, after the group had concluded their meeting and most of the attendees had left, Wrong Hordak paused thoughtfully while he stacked the chairs and cleaned up the space.
“Witless fools, do I have to do everything for you?” Skeletor muttered, passing by with the mop.
Double Trouble noticed and approached their clone lover. “That was a lovely speech you gave today,” they said. “Would you really not change anything in your life?”
“There are many things I might have done differently,” Wrong Hordak admitted. “But if the events of my existence had not transpired exactly as they did, I would not be where I am now. And I like where I am now very much.”
“Bravo,” Double Trouble applauded.
They embraced.
“Hmph! That’s your opinion,” Skeletor grouched. “I don’t do things for humanity, I do them for me!” He shook his head. “Oh, why do I surround myself with fools? Even the robots are smarter than you!”

🌕 2/27/2021 - Full Moon In Virgo & Horoscopes For All Signs🌕
The Virgo Full Moon, where do we even begin? This is going to be an amazing time to take stock on what all is in your life. Where the New Moon is about setting new goals for yourself, the Full Moon is a wonderful way to reflect on what all has happened over the last month and how to be more in your own integrity. Are your current circumstances aligning with what you know is right for yourself and your Divine Purpose on this planet? This energy of rumination on what has transpired, and how this has either bettered your life, or made you a stronger individual, is almost palpable and you could very well be feeling it's effects days before the actual Full Moon itself.
Some might be feeling a little emotionally charged and might feel as if it's easier to judge yourself a little too harshly as Virgos can be very detail oriented about themselves.  They can tend to be way too hard on their own projects, while being comforting and loving to other's. Show yourself and your dreams this same unconditional love and understanding that you would show others. Don't stoop to making self-deprecating jokes in the presence of others in the heat of the moment or setting the bar low on how you should be treated. Give yourself your dues – you deserve it for always pushing forward so courageously. No more cutting yourself into bite sized pieces to be more palatable for others. You are the spiciest, warmest, and most comforting cup of tea; but not everyone is a tea drinker. Some people enjoy coffee or hot chocolate and that's okay. Remember even though you might not be everyone's cup of tea, there are still a heck of a lot of tea drinkers out there in the world. Respect what sets you apart from others and what makes you different. These are things that others can't replicate even if they tried as they are unique to you. Embrace your uniqueness and authenticity with this Full Moon, and go into the month of March feeling empowered and strong.
Remember; this is a heavy time for everyone, so make sure that you're reaching out to those that you care about and seeing how they're faring with these newfound energies. They will be ecstatic that you took the time for them.
Rituals that you can do during the Virgo Full Moon:
Some of the best rituals to be doing for the Full Moon in Virgo are actually the most simple.  We are going to discuss a few of the different ways we can utilize the energy of the Full Moon. Take what you feel called to, and don't feel as though you have to accomplish everything on this list. We go over a few so there are many different ways for many different lifestyles. The most important thing to take away from this is to be kind towards yourself during this Full Moon, and not to be so hard on yourself. Give yourself credit where credit is due, and respect your boundaries! If you're tired, take a nap. If you're hungry, get something good to eat. Which speaking of; Eating better such as making yourself a home cooked meal is a wonderful way to honor yourself during the Virgo Full Moon. Work with your Clairgustance and allow yourself to go all out when cooking yourself something. This could even include eating a bit cleaner – more water, more vegetables, and more fruits. It sounds so simple, but it's a great ritual to take part in on the Virgo Full Moon. Learning new recipes and offering some of the food to your ancestors is also a wonderful way to not only honor yourself, but also your bloodline that has come before you. This energy will be transferred to your living relatives as well, protecting and providing to both you and your loved ones. Virgo also reminds us to take some time to honor our living friends and relatives with a cooked meal, too. Sometimes we get so comfortable with them being around, that we can take them for granted. Do or say something kind ; remember, “a kind word can keep someone warm for years.” On that same note, volunteering at local charities and rescues would be another incredible way of utilizing the momentum of good karma coming your way over the next moon cycle. Remember, Full Moons are about reflecting on what we have had over the last moon cycle, while honoring that we are stepping into a brand new space yet again.
Baking some breads would also be a wonderful way to honor the Full Moon and the harvest it has brought into your life over this last month. I would love to suggest a braided bread with 3 strands. Each strand of dough will represent something different ; One being in reference to all that has been brought into your life, One Strand being what you are Currently Thankful for, and the Last Strand is going to be what you want to manifest into your life over this next period. There are many yummy bread recipes online, might I also suggest Butterswim Biscuits, Sweet Bread, or Gluten Free Socca bread. (There are many great ways to turn a regular recipe into a Gluten Free one as well, I love to make my dog's cookies using Chickpea Flour as they have sensitivities to gluten.) On the subject of our pets/babies, this is a wonderful time to make them treats or snacks of their own! Honoring your Fur-baby (Or Scalebaby, Featherbaby, etc) is a wonderful way to also bring in this Full Moon.
Cleaning your space and getting things in order is going to be incredibly beneficial for you also. You'll feel recharged and more inspired when your space is cleaner. For some in particular getting up earlier in the morning and making your bed is going to make you feel more encouraged to do other things. Remember to give yourself a pat on the back for all that you do though. The Virgo Full Moon wants us to remind ourselves of all that we do on a daily basis. Just getting up in the morning and pushing forward is so commendable and brave – and both The Universe and I couldn't be prouder of you, Darling!
Furthermore, this would be a wonderful time to work on getting into an exercise routine too. This doesn't have to be a super intensive workout session, but something that gets you going for the day and gets those endorphins going. Some are going to really do amazing with yoga, and this will bring you a more peaceful energy while you are practicing poses that provide mindful moments. Express yourself over all during this Moon Cycle, loved one.
Horoscopes for Each Sign over the Full Moon in Virgo:
(Please make sure to check your Sun, Moon, Rising, and Venus Signs as they might resonate with your current energy)
Earth: 3 of Pentacles – Working with others is going to be amazing this month, Earth Signs! You're going to feel excited to cooperate and share ideas with those around you. This is going to bring in eye opening conversations and you're going to really appreciate bouncing ideas off of those around you and have their input. Teamwork truly does make the dream work this month, Earth Signs. There might also be someone who wants to extend you a job opportunity or maybe wants to go in on a business with you. For some this could be a friend that gets you a job interview at their place of work, and you're feeling grateful to know them. Others might just be finding it easier in general to get along with coworkers or peers – even those coworkers that aren't always the easiest to work with. This is going to have you feeling more open to fellowship and conversations with like-minded individuals. Make sure you're not hiding yourself away as these connections are going to be incredibly important to you later on in life. The Virgo Full Moon is bringing things in that are meant to stay for the long-term, so don't be scared to be vulnerable with these new people joining your energy space. For a few Earth signs, The Universe says “Don't judge a book by it's cover.” Give new individuals a chance to be a part of your life. You won't be disappointed – that's for sure.
Taurus: 7 of Wands – You're fighting for what you want, Taurus, and now is not the time to back down from what you truly desire! What you hope for is in the homestretch, which might be adding to the surmounting feeling of needing to finish things up. You might be wanting to tie up any loose ends, but those around you might be giving you a little bit of a hard time to do so. Some Taureans are discovering who is really in your corner and supportive of you this month, which is going to be both liberating and a bit frustrating at the same time. When someone tells you 'No', you're going to laugh in the face of danger and show them what you're really made of. No one quite accomplishes those goals like Taurus does, and it's time you show them who is really boss. Some might be deciding to pursue an entrepreneurship with a craft of hobby that you are incredibly skilled at. Spirit wants you to disregard any of the naysayers and keep striving forward towards those dreams. A select few Taurus might feel as if they have been taking one step forward and two steps back, but The Universe wants you to know that this was for a reason. “If we gave you all your abundance at once, what would there be to fight for?” is their message to you, Taurus. Don't stop believing!
Virgo: The Star – Wow! You are feeling very hopeful with this Full Moon in your sign, Virgo! This energy is going to uplift you and make you feel excited to take action in many different areas of your life. No longer feeling stuck or stagnant, you're going to feel as if there is truly nothing holding you back or could get you down. You will be feeling very creative this month too. Some are going to be feeling hopeful in regards to business endeavors while others might be deciding to branch out in their hobbies. Now is a wonderful time to learn a new skill and to share your intelligence with others. Know that good fortune and incredible luck is coming your way. Some Virgos might be called to start writing as well, so if you have any ideas during this full moon phase be sure to write them down. Get out in nature too as it will inspire you, Virgo. You might be feeling called to sit near a small stream or take a long hike to clear your mind – and it will! This is going to be incredibly beneficial to you. Spirit keeps showing me that some Virgos need to clear their Solar Plexus Chakra, and loosen up their body – for some there is a need for a better posture as your neck and back have been aching. Take priority in yourself now, Virgo ; do your hair, sing in the shower, laugh loudly! The hardest part is now over. Now is the time for healing and honoring your space. You might have been carrying around stress for a while, but it will feel as if you've finally let out a breath you were holding in. Good for you, Virgo!
Capricorn: The Magician – You're manifesting great things into your life, Capricorn! Have you been working with the Law of Attraction more? If yes, then your harvest is coming in a lot faster than you originally anticipated. If no, The Universe wants you to start working with the Law of Attraction and Affirmations as soon as possible as this will really help you in so many aspects of life, Capricorn. Saying Affirmations that confirm that you are That-Bitch™. Know that you are worthy of achieving all your dreams as you're not just a snack; You're the entire Buffet. The Universe also wants you to know that you have all the resources that you need in order to achieve your goals. Anything that you can dream of can be birthed into being – you are the creator of your world, and someone who knows how to get things done. Mixing both your Logical mind with your Intuitive mind will help balance out decisions you have to make. Some Capricorns are manifesting a call on their cellphone from an Air or Fire sign. This is working, and you can expect some kind of a call very soon as this person has genuinely been missing you. Stay optimistic and envision yourself doing good in every scenario you desire, Capricorn. This is the key to manifestation. Your high vibration is going to bring your fruition in sooner than you could even begin to imagine.
Air: The Hierophant -  Air Signs are being called to get back to basics and ground themselves. This could be through more mindful moments or actually meditating. Bringing a new plant into your space is a wonderful way to freshen things up and get some positive energy into your room. Someone might have recently gotten a succulent or have been planning on getting one – this is your sign to do so! With this plant offering some perspective you'll be able to take a hard look at your life in where you need to grow yourself. Some Air Signs are going to be receiving some sound advice from a Authoritative figure. This could be someone with a strong Paternal/Masculine Energy (Regardless of Gender), this means this person wants the best for you. They are protective, and want to offer you some words of wisdom on where to go next. Don't see this as the end all be all, but do take the moral from their story on whatever they're telling you as it might be incredibly important regarding where you're going in life. For some this is going to be a Grandfather, Father/Step-Father, or your Boss. Some might also be longing to follow tradition, perhaps getting connected with their heritage and culture. Some Air Signs are wanting to deepen a connection and having a stronger commitment. Stability is the name of the game right now, and something that is weighing you down a bit. Other Air Signs might be longing to have a promotion at work as well and step into your own position of Authority. As you already know, Air Sign, you are a natural born leader who is capable of doing so quite easily! You're going to be offered the chance to prove yourself worthy of what's next – either to a boss, the Universe, or someone shady. You've known your worth this whole time – it's about time they get on the same page. ;) One Air Sign in particular has been mulling over in their head if they are going to branch out into something new in regards to career. You're being asked to go towards what you know and are amazing at. This Air Sign in particular has dark hair with blonde highlights and beautiful eyes. You might want to start a Spiritual Youtube or Social Media account and Spirit is telling you to go for it as you truly have a gift for connecting with the Divine. Let nothing hold you back, Air Signs!
Aquarius: Knight of Pentacles – You're really making sure to take your time with something, Aquarius. You're deciding to stay very practical and not to just dive in head first to something. You're choosing to be cautious with everything that you do. You're seeing every angle of a situation or reading all the fine print. It might feel a little meticulous, but it will be something you'll be glad you spent the extra time on. For some Aquarius, you might be focusing more on your material wealth and finances. Some are very excited about a job they have, but they're having to learn how to pace themselves better. There might be a lack of boundaries that you have had in the past when it has come to job situations, and you're learning how to work smarter – not harder. You're feeling determined to do a job well done though, and who better to call for the job than you, Aquarius? Others are in a relationship that they might be wanting to pump the breaks on a little. This isn't out of lack, but wanting to regroup and have a bit more of a 'Slow-Burning Romance'. You might be saying, if it's meant to be they will wait for me. It seems as if you want to get your ducks in a row first before you proclaim a commitment of forever as well. There might be a Aquarius in particular that wants to get back to basics as well. Go for it!
Libra: 3 of Swords – You might be feeling a little down in the dumps about something, Libra. What has been getting you down? Was there an ending of something? Are you grieving something that you miss from the past? For some you might be feeling nostalgic, but it pains you to have to think about it. The Universe wants you to honor the memories, but honor yourself first. When you feel overwhelmed, feel your emotions, but then spend time picking yourself up again. Taking care of yourself, having a nice meal, watching that new series on Netflix. For some Libra, the song “Had to Lose You to Love Me” by Selena Gomez is going to resonate. Look up this song or read the lyrics as I feel it could pertain to your situation. It's not always easy to have to move on from a situation, a person, or a relationship – but not everyone is meant to be in your space forever. Some are meant to just be lessons in your life. For some Libras there is going to be a Dark Night of the Soul that makes you really look at what you've been doing leading up to this point. I see this card as the Soul Growth card as well – each sword representing a different cycle in our life that we are going to experience. The Maiden, The Mother, and The Crone all have their different lessons and morals to learn. You might be having a Coming Of Age or 'A-Ha!' moment that ushers in a brand new energy with new opportunities and blessings around the corner.
Gemini: King of Swords – Gemini, you're taking a logical approach to everything you're doing over the Virgo Full Moon. Some are taking a look at their obstacles or problems with a fine toothed comb – really seeing where they can improve or grow. This Full Moon is going to make you feel as if you are in your power and you're trusting yourself more. You might be focusing on your studies a lot more as well, and really putting your nose to the grind stone in order to make big waves. Even when trials or tribulations come your way over this period, you maneuver it with such ease that others are going to be shocked in this. You are going to see life as a beach with waves, and when a large one comes your way instead of panicking you're taking your surfboard out and riding this out. How incredible, Gemini! You're going to be focusing on yourself and the things you enjoy a little more as well, maybe not having as much time to just has conversations with anyone around you. You're being more discerning on how you spend your time or where your intention goes into. For some Gemini's you're going to be putting up better boundaries. There's a blue haired Gemini that is going to be stepping into their integrity and inner truth – this is going to bring new opportunities. For a blonde Gemini spirit is showing that you might be receiving a lot of signs and synchronicities through flowers. Make sure to look up the kind of flower you are seeing repeatedly in order to gain the full message. What an exciting time, Gemini!
Water: 4 Of Wands – Wow, Water Signs! That's all I can say right off the bat. Good things are coming your way – and fast. This could be in the form of stability, firm foundations, celebrations, homecomings, and inspiring thoughts. This is an amazing card as it shows people all together,  celebrating the beauty of life and love. You yourself might be invited to celebrations yourself – perhaps baby showers, weddings, or birthday parties. Of course a lot of these might be virtually as well, because of the pandemic, but it will still be a good way to get you out there. For some Water Signs, it might be Bittersweet as you are wanting these things to come into your life also. So while you might be genuinely happy for others, you might feel a bit left out or contemplative on how to bring this into your life. Don't stress it, Water Sign. It's coming into your life when you least expect it – and that's the beauty of it. To manifest something, the Law Of Attraction asks us to let go of what we truly desire to be in the moment. This will bring more chances of what you want entering when we don't hyper-focus on 'when' or 'how'. Let the Universe work it's magic! In the meantime, enjoy basking in the celebrations and connecting with those that you love! I'm hearing the song 'Bittersweet' by Panic! At the Disco, so this might be a sign for some Water Signs.
Cancer: 9 of Swords - Are there worries on your mind that are keeping you up at night, Cancer? You haven't been sleeping very well, and this might be causing you to hyper-focus on or analyze the things that scare you. The Universe wants you to change the way you're seeing your situation in order to solve whatever this might be. Are you worried about someone in particular? Or are you missing a Passed Loved One? Are you worried about a Job position even? In the words of Newt Scamander, “Worrying is just Suffering twice.” Know that if this Job/Partner is meant to be yours, it will come your way no matter what. Get some good rest tonight and clear your mind. Know that you will also be able to think about it tomorrow when you start your day. To prepare for this, set your alarm 45 minutes earlier than usual to be able to think over everything that has been stressing you out. It will not only give you a quiet space to be alone with your thoughts, but also a dedicated time just to deciding what you're going to do going forward. Other Cancers feel as if something is on the horizon and just about to enter their life. This is causing you undue stress, because you might not be able to pinpoint what exactly it is. This makes you feel on edge and uncomfortable, but why not shift this energy to excited? Know that you are headed towards another new adventure, another new perspective, or another new connection. Be proud that you're going through another cycle in life! Some Cancers might be reminiscing on memories you spent with a passed loved one that you miss dearly. Your loved one(s) with you no matter what, in every walk of life, guiding you to something better. They want you to take care of yourself, and honor yourself too just as you honor them.
Pisces:  2 of Pentacles – Do you feel as if you have been juggling for a while, Pisces? There might be two different energies that are calling you in different directions. Some are struggling to divide their time between their loved ones and their studies or work. With all of this trying to be in many different places at once, you might be feeling a little unbalanced. Grounding yourself will do wonders over the Full Moon in Virgo. Some Pisces might be feeling a little drained. Spirit is showing me someone who feels as if they have ran an entire marathon – exhausted, sweating, but feeling excited for all the progress they've made. Victory theirs as they know their hard work wasn't in vain. Know that yours wouldn't have been in vain either Pisces. With this constant pushing forward or juggling you may feel pulled between what you want to do versus what those in your energy expect or desire you to do. You might feel as if something is going to have to give sooner or later. You're highly underestimating your phenomenal juggling skills though, Pisces dear. You have all the resources to get through this period of trials and tribulations. Others are trying to find balance between their logical mind and their emotions. Some Pisces have noticed that in the past they would over-react with others, but now they're realizing this came from a place of needing healing. You're pulling your energy back and honoring yourself more over this Full Moon – which is fantastic! You're more mindful about where you're putting your intentions – and this is going to bring a lot more happiness your way.
Scorpio: 3 of Cups – Your friends are thinking about you, Scorpio! Have you been wanting to spend more time with them? Or to get away from such serious, stagnant energy towards more productive and lighthearted fun? That's totally fine! Spirit is telling you to go for it now! Allow yourself to reach out to those that you care about; they're going to be extremely excited to hear from you. You might be wanting to hang out more with family members too during this time, perhaps wanting to play board games or have more family nights. Other's might be craving to have a drink with their longtime buddy. (Remember to be mindful with the pandemic, of course) This could be someone that you haven't talked to in a long time and you're wanting to change that. Regardless of what you've been manifesting, people are wanting to connect with you just as much as you've been wanting to connect with them. It's looking like setting aside a whole day to livestream a movie with your group would be more conductive and beneficial right now than constant working – so make time to find joy in your day. Some Scorpios are going to benefit from hearing other people's point of view. For one Scorpio in particular you might have a friends group with two friends, one with blonde hair and the other with auburn (you yourself might have dark brown hair). Something exciting is going to enter into you guy's space. You might have an opportunity to safely travel to see one another, or have a chance to come together through online video calls.
Fire: 2 of Cups – Fire Signs might be getting a deeper level of commitment! For some you might be going on a date with someone who makes you feel on top of the world. This person is supportive, kind, and they encourage you to do better in every aspect of your life. You both understand each other on a level that you've never experienced before, and it's both alluring and a bit terrifying at the same time. You two might be a lot like yin and yang. The Universe is highlighting for someone in specific “Sometimes Opposites Attract”. They are showing me a battery, and how there is a Negative and a Positive. You can't have one without the other, and this might be the same for you two's union. Let this love come in naturally. For Leo's especially there might be a solid offer of love headed your way. Fire Signs are also being asked to be flexible between Divine Masculine and Divine Feminine energy – to be comfortable with switching between being nurturing to protective, or logical to emotional, without missing a beat. This is going to get you the most out of every situation you find yourself in, so make sure to go with the flow. Don't be scared to be vulnerable with people around you. There are so many people that value your thoughts and want to cherish you, Fire Signs, allow others to celebrate you during this time.
Aries: Ace of Swords – Clarity is on the way fast, Aries! Have you been hoping for clarity in a situation with something or someone? Perhaps this is clarity on what you want to go towards or achieve during this next Moon Cycle. The Full Moon is going to make you reflective on where your energy has been going, and where you might have been overextending yourself. You're getting into the Driver's Seat and taking the wheel, which Spirit is very proud of! You're being asked to look at things logically right now when making decisions. For some Aries, you're deciding if you want to go back to school and pursue a different line of study. This could be something completely different than what you originally thought you would want to go towards, but it will be a better fit overall. You're going to decide to chase your intellectual endeavors in whatever means possible. This is going to inspire other people around you as well to do the same thing, and how amazing is that, that you are going to be making others strive ahead too? Some are deciding to finally cut energetic cords to people or places that no longer serve their highest good. You'll know when something isn't serving you, Aries. You're incredibly intuitive, and you know when to stay in something or when to disengage.
Leo: Seven of Cups – Leo, you are going to have a lot of options coming in very soon, but this might leave you feeling a little confused. With all of these opportunities, you might be feeling as if you could potentially make the wrong decision. There is never any wrong decisions in life, Leo. As long as you believe in your goal and yourself, you will always be able to make the right choice for what is correct and aligns with your integrity. Some Leo's might be confused on what it is that they want to pursue going forward into the month of March. Spirit also wants to remind you, Leo, that choosing to not make a decision is still making a decision. So make it count where it matters most! Again, there is no wrong decision. If you decide not to act towards the opportunities coming your way, know that better ones will come. Others are finding a way to get away from self sabotaging tendencies, and are taking a realistic look towards their life. Spirit says, “Someone is dropping the Rose Colored Glasses, and Seeing things the way they Actually Are.” The Universe wants to remind you that when someone shows you their true colors – don't paint them to be something else. Someone better will come in, but right now the name of the game is combing out the tangles in your life with a fine-tooth comb. This might feel a little tedious, but the meticulousness will pay off – I promise, Leo.
Sagittarius: Six of Wands – Victory is ahead, Sagittarius! Do you see it in the distance? It's a lot closer than you realize, and it might be a bit surprising. Some might be getting money for something that they put effort into a while ago, and it's finally paying off. Others might finally be receiving recognition at a job which will lead to promotion. Whatever these opportunities are, Sagittarius, one thing is for sure; it's finally coming full circle! For those that have been struggling, there will be relief and smooth sailing. Others are going to have a new mindset of 'Only Up From Here' – this is a perfect perspective to have, Sag! The Six of Wands also reminds us that whatever we set our mind to is definitely something that can be achieved. You will definitely be getting a lot of praise and recognition for all that you do though. Those around you are going to want to lift you up and honor you over the next few weeks. Are you ready for this? This recognition has been a long time coming, with some Sagittarius in the past feeling overlooked or overburdened, and it's something that you have been in the works manifesting in for yourself. There is an energy of not having to compromise your ideals or dreams in order to achieve amazing things either. Don't worry - Let the chips fall where they may, and know that a glorious outcome is yours, Sagittarius.
