"Isn't she gorgeous?"
Natasha Romanoff x Reader
Requested
Warnings: 18+ content, breast sucking, fingering (R receiving), orgasm denial, strap-on use (R receiving), cock-sucking, vaginal sex, degrading, praising, profanity
Summary: Your husband, Steve Rogers, has been romantically and sexually starving you ever since he became an Avenger. After borrowing money from notorious crime leader, Natasha Romanoff, she breaks into your house to get what she's owed. However, when she finds you, his gorgeous wife innocently asleep next to him, you catch her interest and her plans change instantly.
Pairings: top dom!Natasha Romanoff x bottom sub!reader, Steve Rogers x Reader (nothing romantic or sexual happens)
Trigger Warnings: blood, gun wound, reference to implied SA (blink and you'll miss it).
“Y/n?” you nearly sent the plate in your hand flying to the floor, dropping it into the washing bowl before spinning around to see your husband in the doorway. You shook your head, sure that your eyes were deceiving you. He was never here even when he promised, never mind three weeks early.
“Steve,” you said, drying your hands and rushing over to him but before you could pull him into a hug, he caught a hold of your shoulders to stop you. His touch sent a stab of pain into your chest and you were snapped back to reality, falling away from the lingers of a past moment you had momentarily forgotten wasn’t your present. You straightened your figure and took a step back, looking up at the man that had once been the light of your life, a guide in the darkness, someone special to share all the good with but now, he could’ve been a stranger.
You had been married for three years, together for five and the first few years would be the most treasured moments of your life. But ever since he had become an Avenger, it had consumed his sole purpose.
Steve was always out fighting, carving his mark, making the world proud of his heroism while you stayed at home doing chores and completing mindless activities to pass the time. There was once a time where you could’ve sworn you saw Universes in his eyes. Now, his skin had been drained of colour and his eyes were rimmed with red as if he were a ghost that was forever cursed to haunt his loved ones. “What are you doing here?” you quizzed.
“I’m sorry," he said, bowing his head, “I’ve got into a bit of trouble, I wanted to make sure you were safe.” You frowned.
“What trouble?” you questioned, “is there a villain after you? Can’t the Avengers help you?” You didn’t even bother hiding the bitterness in my voice. They were clearly everything he ever needed, what use were you to him? He sighed.
“Not exactly,” he said, “we should probably sit down.” You followed him into the dining room with caution in your steps, not taking your eyes off him. The walls were a fading, off-white, elaborate flowers twisted between leaves and detailed patterns, wooden panelling running along across the bottom. The light fixture in the centre was brass with three upturned light bulbs, the dining tables and chairs a polished rosewood. Steve had wanted the room like this because it reminded him of his Grandmother. It was awkward to clean and there was always a build of dust in here. You took a seat opposite him.
“What’s going on?” you said. He scratched the back of his neck.
“I know what you’re going to think but… alright I’ll just tell you. I took out a loan from someone a bit dodgy and I haven’t quite paid them back.” You raised an eyebrow.
“What’s ‘haven’t quite’ supposed to mean?” you said, raising your voice.
“I haven’t paid them back, okay?” he exclaimed, “look, all I wanted to do was buy you a new house, I wanted to make you happy since you hate this one so much. I don’t see anything wrong with wanting to spoil my girl.” Generosity – the easiest attainable remedy for guilt.
“Well, I see something wrong with borrowing money you can’t pay back, especially from somebody that can put you and other people in danger,” you said, pushing yourself onto your feet, “what were you thinking Steve?” He slammed his fists onto the table and you jumped, your heart thumping against your ribcage.
“Listen, I thought I would have the money by now. It’s not my fault I can’t see into the future, you know I wouldn’t have even thought about it if I knew.” You closed your eyes, exhaling a long breath, trying to keep your composure. There were a hundred things you wanted to say to him right now but it wasn’t worth it. You either lived in peace or chaos; either way, nothing changed.
“I thought I knew a lot of things about you but they turned out to all be wrong,” you said, “so I don’t know anymore. Nothing you do surprises me.” You stormed back into the kitchen, not wanting him to waste anymore of your time. You had dishes to do and by now, the water would’ve gone cold.
“Y/n, come on. You haven’t seen me in three months and this is how you’re going to treat me?”
“I have dishes to do,” you said, picking up the plate you had dropped before, polishing it until it shone in the dim light peeking through the curtains, “someone has to keep the house clean.” And clearly, it wasn’t going to him. You felt a firm hand on my shoulder and all the muscles in your body tensed.
“I know you’re mad at me.” You scoffed. Mad wasn’t the right word – it was an array of messy emotions tangled together that had been fraying for years. There was more than just anger here, that was just an old friend that had withered and grown back into something much more cruel now. “Just please… let me make it up to you. I could die on a mission one day you know, you never know when one of these moments could be our last.” He had tried guilt tripping you before – it was a simple yet effective way of shifting blame onto the other person to ease your conscience. These games were getting so predictable.
“And I’d be the last one to know,” you said, “maybe if I was lucky, I’d see it on the news.” You placed the last plate on the drying rack, emptying the washing-up bowl before walking away to leave him standing in the kitchen, alone.
..........................................................................
You had avoided Steve as if he were the plague for the rest of the evening, only tolerating him in the same room as you when you went to give him his dinner. If you were nothing but his little housewife, you may as well play the part and poke it in his face. While you were getting ready for bed, you had paused by his chest of drawers, remembering the divorce papers you had hidden beneath the shirts he had outgrown or didn’t like anymore. Most of them had been bought by you and you could recall a memory with your husband in every single one. Maybe another day.
You couldn’t sleep but you kept your eyes tight shut when you heard him enter and move around the bedroom. Why didn’t you just sleep in the living room?, you thought as he slipped under the covers beside you. You figured he’d probably leave before you were awake so in his mind, you wouldn't even know. Dickhead. You didn’t know how much time had passed but you must’ve fallen asleep because the next thing you see is blinding white.
“Steve, turn the lights off…” You let out a scream when a gunshot sounded through the room, colliding with your husband’s cry of pain. Your eyes flew open and immediately fell on the figure standing at the end of your bed, her ravishing, blood-soaked hair curled onto her shoulder, her eyes glittering with shattered pieces of jade. Your heart seemed to freeze in your chest. Natasha Romanoff – the most notorious leader of crime in the world. And she was here, in your bedroom.
You turned to Steve and let out a strangled sob, the sight of scarlet soaking into the bed sheets making you dizzy. You heard the click of heels behind you and Natasha took a fistful of your nightgown before you could even process what was happening, pulling you away from him as if you were a mere feather. You screamed again and if it wasn’t for her strong grip on you, you would’ve collapsed to the ground.
She waited until you were steady enough to stand on your own two feet, gripping your hips and pulling you flush against her body. She was wearing a dress that emphasised all her curves and showcased most of her skin, your body flooding with dread. This woman was able to shoot Captain America without any protective clothing like it was nothing. There was no way out of this situation. We were doomed. I felt something hard in her crotch area, confused as to why she was carrying such a bulky item in her pockets.
“Leave her alone,” Steve whispered, his voice faint and overshadowed by anguish.
“Get on the floor and don’t say another word unless I ask you a question or she’ll have to watch you die,” she snapped, “neither of us want that to happen, do we?” With resentment, he hobbled away from the bed, stumbling over to the wall and sliding himself down it, his hand clutched to the gun wound in his stomach. “Good.” She ran a finger down your cheek before beginning to trace your features, her head tilted to the side. “You didn’t tell anyone you had a wife, Rogers. Isn’t she gorgeous?” You shivered in her hold, her voice low and seductive. “What’s your name, pretty?”
“Y-Y/n,” you trembled, wishing you could strangle the butterflies in your stomach that her touch had provoked. This was insanity – she had just shot your husband and she was threatening to murder him yet she was making you nervous, in a romantic way. God, if only Natasha wasn’t so beautiful, this would be a whole lot easier.
“Y/n Rogers?” she said, giving you a fake pout, “that doesn’t sound very nice, does it? Y/n Romanoff has a much nicer ring to it.” A crease formed between your eyebrows. What the hell was she implying? “Rogers, I’m willing to strike up a deal with you. But first, I’m going to fuck your wife until the only name she’ll remember is mine.” His eyes widened in horror and you let out a cry.
“Natasha, that’s assault. You can’t,” Steve said. She smirked.
“Oh there won’t be any need for that,” she said, “it won’t take much for her to beg me for more.” She pushed you down onto the bed and straddled your lap, a pool of wetness already forming between your legs. This was so fucked up. “Give me consent and I’ll make you feel so good baby, better than you’ve ever felt. All you have to do is say the word.”
You considered all your options but it didn’t take you long to decide since you only had two. You either let Natasha fuck you or you watched Steve die. You could treat it like a one night stand, you thought. You had never experienced one yourself but you’d read it in books so surely you would be able to do it.
Though you knew deep down, part of you wanted this. You were desperately touch starved and the thought of Natasha fucking you made you groan, heat rushing to your cheeks as the sound escape your mouth. You nodded and she gripped your jaw.
“Words bitch.”
“Yes,” you said, looking away from her in shame but she forced you to look back at her.
“Good girl,” Natasha said, lowering herself onto you and colliding her lips with yours, setting all your nerves alight. Her lips felt like velvet against your own, melting against you and setting a slow pace, letting you get used to the sensation. You couldn’t remember the last time Steve had kissed you, never mind like this.
When your hand moved to her chest, she knew she’d won and she began kissing you with more passion, her teeth sinking into your bottom lip. You gasped and she took the opportunity to slip her tongue between the gap in your teeth. You didn’t even bother fighting against her, wanting Natasha to take full control and use you however she pleased.
She separated your lips and began kissing your neck, her teeth ruthless against your skin as she began to mark you, leaving a trail of garnet blotches that would be seen by everyone. “Tell him how much you like this.” As much as you wished it wasn’t true, you were very much enjoying this. It was a terrible thing to admit to your husband but you had to remind yourself that his life was at stake here.
“I love it, I love being marked by you,” you said, “please don’t stop.” She pulled away when she reached your chest, reaching down and taking hold of your nightgown.
“Can I take this off angel?”
“Please,” you said, ignoring that Steve was in the same room as you. You wanted this, you needed this, you hadn’t had sex in so long. Too long. She lifted herself off your waist for a few moments so she could discard you of your nightgown before continuing her path down your chest, stopping right before she reached your breasts.
“So beautiful,” Natasha said before taking one of your nipples between her fingers and rolling it, earning her your loudest groan yet. She began to fondle the other roughly and the pain was soon replaced with pleasure that went straight in between your legs. You were a moaning mess beneath her, your forehead glistening with sweat and your breaths loud and sharp. “Listen to that, Rogers. Does she make these sweet, sweet noises for you? Do you Y/n? Tell me.”
“No,” I said, “only for you.” She tutted.
“Oh sweetheart, he doesn’t deserve you,” she said, “it’s okay, I’m going to take care of you now.” She ran her hands down your stomach and attached her mouth to your hardened nipple, your mind unable to decide what to concentrate on. She slipped her fingers beneath your panties and began snapping it against your skin, causing you to start bucking your hips into her.
“I need you,” you said. You expected her to make you wait but her expression softened as she began sliding your panties down your legs, throwing them in Steve’s direction. “Look how she ruined them for me. If you weren’t so neglectful, this could’ve been you, Rogers. Don’t you ever forget that.” You gasped as the palm of her hand pressed against your cunt, brushing against your swollen clint. “So wet.”
“Natasha, please…”
“Beg,” she said, running her fingers through your folds and collecting your arousal, “let him hear you.”
“Please Natasha,” you said, “I need you to fuck me so bad. I need you inside of me, please make me cum.” Your words made her groan and you whimpered as you felt her push two fingers inside of you, giving you only a few seconds to adjust before she began thrusting in and out of you at a quickened pace. You felt a burning sting, grabbing her wrist to try and slow her down. “Nat, it’s too much, it hurts.”
“What do you mean sweetie? Does he have a small cock?” There was a cruel glint in her eye when the realisation dawned on her. “He hasn’t fucked you in a longtime has he? How long has it been?” You were struggling to form coherent sentences at this point.
“Six months,” you admitted. He visited so little and he was always exhausted when he did, hardly even giving you any affection, never mind fulfilling your physical needs. You had shamefully been trying to fuck yourself for over a year now but you were either too embarrassed to keep at it for long or you were eventually forced to give up, too inexperienced to make yourself cum. You had never used more than one finger so you weren’t used to the stretch at all.
“You’re telling me your husband had access to this cunt anytime he wanted but he chose not to fuck you for half a year?” What a waste of such a perfect pussy,” she said, “shh, it’s okay, it’ll feel so good in a minute.” As if to prove her point, porn-worthy moans began to spill from your mouth as you were drowned in overwhelming bliss. She knew she had found that one spot inside of you when your noises became more intense and more wetness gushed from your entrance, the squelches of your arousal echoing around the room. You took fistfuls of the duvet beneath you in your hands, your walls began to clench around her fingers. But just before you reached your high, Natasha slipped her fingers out of you.
“No,” you cried, “I was so close.” She placed a kiss on your forehead.
“Not just yet,” she said, “I want you to cum on my cock.” You blinked up at her in confusion, not understanding what she meant. Was she perhaps intersex? “Get on your knees.” You scrambled to obey her command, your thighs glistening with white and she smirked. “Such an obedient thing. Open your mouth and stick out your tongue.” You did so without hesitation and she lifted up her dress and threw it on the floor, leaving her in a lacey bra and boxers. Your eyes fell onto her breasts that were full and sat perfectly, wondering how they’d feel in your hands and in your mouth. You were too distracted to pay attention to Natasha pulling down her boxers until a large, red strapon sprung into your face.
You were sheltered and didn’t have many friends so your knowledge on how two women had sex was low. You had accidentally come across some brief information about strapons while scrolling through social media, closing the app immediately and uninstalling it. You had never told anyone you liked women so any mentions of the topic made you panic and run in the opposite direction. Natasha noticed your hesitation.
“It’s just like sucking a cock,” she said, “you’ve done that, right?” You shook your head. Steve was a very traditional man so you’d never done anything outside of the very basics. You had always wanted to explore more interesting options but you were too ashamed to ask or discuss any of your preferences with him. “God, so vanilla. Once I show you what you’ve been missing you’ll never want to go back. Do you want to try симпатичный (pretty)?” Her Russian Nickname for you sent a lustful thrum through your body despite the words being foreign and unknown to you. You knew there was only one correct answer to her question but you liked being able to show Natasha how much you desired to follow her orders.
“I’d love to try,” you said, “anything to please you.”
“Good girl,” she husked, nudging your mouth with the strap-on. Her other hand dug into your shoulder as she pushed it inside of your gaping mouth, your eyes rolling to the back of your head.
Natasha kept going even when you started choking, tears slipping from your eyes and smearing your makeup. The sight of you, a perfect housewife she had ruined and made a mess of, only made her thrust the toy into your mouth faster, desperately turned on. When she was satisfied that you’d wet it enough, she pulled out, showing enough mercy to let you catch your breath. “You’re already such a good cock-sucker.” She ran her thumb over your plump lips. “Aren’t you glad I put these lips to good use, hmm?”
“Yes,” you gasped, “thank you Natasha.” She placed a kiss on your forehead.
“So polite. Get on all fours and look at your husband.” You hesitated a little this time, suddenly remembering Steve’s presence. You turned around and followed her commands, your gaze meeting with his. Steve’s pupils were drowned in pain and clouded his emotions so you couldn’t identify them, blood still gushing from his gun wound.
“Natasha, I think he’s going to die,” I said, “his stomach…” She looked over and saw that he was on the verge of passing out, his blood loss now critical.
“I fear you’re right,” she said, “I thought we’d have more time with him, shame. Don’t worry милый (darling), he’ll be alright soon.” You heard footsteps thundering up the stairs before the door was flung open and several men dressed head to toe in black burst into the bedroom. You wondered how she had summoned them so quickly but you were too horny to dwell on the thought for long.
You tried to cover your exposed body, feeling vulnerable all of a sudden but Natasha slapped your hands away. “They won’t look my angel, they wouldn’t even dare. Don’t let them distract you.” You felt something prodding your entrance and you whimpered.
“Please,” you breathed as she circled your entrance with the toy, collecting your arousal.
“You’re somehow even wetter,” she cooed, “did you really love your face being fucked that much?” Before you could answer she began to push the tip inside, your soaked walls showing no resistance. She didn’t give you anytime to get used to the stretch, pulling out before slamming back into you seconds later. The pain only lasted a few moments before it dissolved into pure pleasure as Natasha pounded into you like a wild animal. You arched your bark, the dirtiest sounds you had ever produced spilling from your mouth and echoing through the room. You somehow managed to lift an arm and point it towards Steve’s shirt drawer.
“There’s divorce paper,” you strung together between gasps, “in that drawer. I already signed them.” The men followed your finger and moved towards them, aimlessly throwing Steve’s shirts onto the floor. You saw a pang of hurt in Steve’s expression but you didn’t care. He should’ve seen this coming and even if he didn’t, it was his fault anyway.
As the divorce papers and Steve were dragged away, you moved your hips in rhythm with Natasha’s to try and get the strap-on deeper into you, every brush against your walls sending electricity through your body. She gripped your hips, encouraging your movements, grunting each time you slammed back against her. Your groans changed when she found your g-spot again and after that, she made sure to keep hitting it, a knot beginning to tighten in your stomach for the second time that night.
“I need to cum,” you said, “can I this time, please?”
“Such a slut,” she said, “soak my dick baby. Go on.” You screamed her name as you released all over her cock, stars blinding your eyes as your body shook with bliss, each new wave stronger than the last. After the longest orgasm of your life, you finally finished cumming, liquid staining your thighs. But Natasha didn’t stop, moving her hands up to your ass and massaging your cheeks.
“Natasha, I’ve already cummed,” you said, expecting her to finally pull out but instead, she tutted.
“We’re not finished yet,” she said, “If I wanted to, I could have you cumming all over this cock all night. We’re done when I say we are. You are all mine after all, gorgeous.” After the initial discomfort faded away, you were soaring back up to cloud nine, ready to do whatever Natasha wanted.
“Of course,” you said, “I’m all yours now.”

where do you stand with living in the moment, feeling grateful, and how do you personally approach it?
It's interesting, I actually struggle a lot with staying in the moment even though I also tend to notice small things so easily--I could be having the worst day of my life but I will always notice the veins on a leaf, for example, or how light falls into the train carriage, or a patchy section of grass erupting between the footpath and the street.
More than anything I think that, even if I struggle with staying centered, the thing for me is making sure I find these individual pockets to slip into and you really can find them everywhere: watching steam rise from a cup of warm milk, a slant of afternoon sunlight in mid-winter, tree roots buckling the tarmac along a footpath, overgrown patches of ivy, a flower stall in the middle of the high street etc. They don't even need to be traditionally "romantic" or pleasant or picturesque things, either: there's something in a moment of sympathy for a pigeon hobbling across the tram tracks with an injured foot, or the patterns made by paint peeling off a dilapidated door, or even the geometric cross-sections of electricity wires against the sky (whether blue, or pink, or grey).
It's not necessarily that I actively root myself deeply in these moments (as I said, actively quieting my mind is hard for me to do), but more that, because I always notice them, and because I always take note of myself noticing them, because I feel something for them, even just fleetingly, they create a kind of interruption to whatever was going on before. The interruption might last a second and no more, but I've noted it for that second. It doesn't automatically make a bad day go away, but it's a nice reminder that a bad day doesn't have to be all consuming. There's always going to be something new to see, even if you have seen it before because each time you see it is it's own unique event. I'll be going through it and see a pigeon huddled by a window as the bus passes and when it's out of sight I'll still be going through it, but I'll be going through it having just seen a pigeon and there is a kind of momentary lull in that for me. The easiest way I can describe it is like a dark and empty room where all you've done is lift a single blind. The room is still empty, but also it's not--does that make sense?
In any case when I am trying to stay present my favourite thing is to try and find some kind of immersive activity--this could be a small craft like origami or braiding bracelets, but my favourite is to just go on walks along the beach or through a park and pay as much attention to things as I can: the smell of vegetation when I pass the wild compost heap, or if the grass has been cut, or the gulls picking their way along the sand, or the faraway voices of people and dogs. Sometimes, if I really, really need to calm my mind I'll narrate everything I do: now I am walking up this hill, now I am crossing the grass, now I can feel the mud because it's rained, now the hill is steeper and my legs are pushing harder and I feel it in my thighs etc.
Gratitude, I think, is maybe partly tied in with the whole noticing every little thing--it's not a conscious decision, but I think it does open space for it in a way even if I'm not thinking "I'm so grateful I saw that toddler dressed as Sonic the Hedgehog". It's like the open blind in the dark and empty room again: there's space for something, even if the room itself doesn't change.
But like the rest, there are a lot of things I struggle with where I do need to train myself to be actively conscious of gratitude: I have a series of cue cards tacked over my bed and one of them is, literally, "choose gratitude, bitch ❤️" (heart included). The rest involves me not letting my inner voice doom-monger my life as much which is difficult, but I try. By far the most important to me, though, is trying not to counter the compliments people close to me give by going "actually, I'm really not" or something along those lines. It's not about whether or not I can see these things in myself (some days I can, a lot of days I can't) but about acknowleding that I can't dictate what others see or feel: rejecting their kind words is, in essence, the same as rejecting them, and I don't want to do that.
None of this is to say they have all been failsafes for me or that I don't struggle with things because I do--but they're the scaffolds I have and use the most and that make the world what it is for me. Granted, I think I've always been like this, even as a childhood (I was the very opposite of an apathetic teenager)--so maybe I'm always tuned up this way already and that makes it a little easier; but, again, it doesn't make you immune to the world or to your own troubles so while it isn't necessarily a conscious thing, the older I get the more aware of it I become, and the more intentional I try to make my approach to things, if that makes sense 🤍

I'm pretty clueless to fashion production; is there no way you can produce a "decent" facsimile of that camo by taking a digital pattern and sort of printing it onto a similar match of fabrics? I actually have some stake in something like this existing, because there's a lot of discontinued aloha shirt patterns I wanna claim for myself.
you can, technically, and for reproductions that’s usually the easiest solution. if you look up “michell pattern camo for sale” you’ll find a variety of shops selling cheap dropshipped commodities, usually outsourced, in every pattern under the sun from the emblematic, like M81 woodland, to the esoteric, like 1945 German Leibermuster. all of these are polyester shein-esque clothes tho, with all the quality of a halloween costume and made at the cheapest price possible. to truly recreate a pattern as authentic to the originals as possible, one not only needs quality fabrics to print on but a similar machine to those that existed in the factories 40, 60, or 80+ years ago, and to replicate the printing process. camouflage is typically printed in layers, similar to silkscreening though at an industrial scale, and to a discerning eye this can produce distinctions in the final product. as one might expect, none of these factories still exist, their tooling has disappeared into time, and the manufacture process was likely either never recorded or kept secret. that said, some modern companies do seek out old tools, of which Buzz Rickson’s became famous with their bomber jacket repros, and it’s not like it’s impossible to make something that looks nice with new methods. however, even if a cunning tailor finds a solution or negotiates with a textile mill to produce a pattern, such manufacturing steps are often time consuming and expensive, and the commodity itself is only appealing to a very niche market. thus, old camo patterns are either not worth it to businesses to try and recreate, or have a dizzying price tag when they do.
Aloha shirts are actually a very apt comparison, not only are the patterns themselves somewhat of a civilian equivalent of camouflage, but the trends in production and reproduction are similar. Companies like Sugar Cane are well renowned for their Hawaiian shirts, but, like with military apparel, because the tooling doesn’t exist anymore many of the best new-made garments are made with vintage dead-stock fabric.
all that said tho, i’m not an expert on such things so all of the above is more or less what i’ve learned or intuited through exposure, there are likely more erudite articles on the subject.

How to get rid of boredom once and for all? (If you an average person)
Have I finally found an antidote to one of the most unpleasant feelings that exist? For some of you, definitely. For others, maybe not...
The utility of the following information completely depends on your will. The will not only to understand it but also to apply and actually change old patterns.
I am never bored. And can insist that I know what I'm talking about because:
1. Either way, it definitely works: we can assume that all actions I take in life are leading to not being bored. 2. Either way, I was born with a natural capacity for receiving more emotions (or just having a higher range of them) by doing daily life things - therefore just not needing additional stimulation. 3. I can also assume that it was one of the ways I've been taught. If you have nothing to do, usually equivalent to boredom, my mom would give me tons of home chores to do (because there's always an infinite amount of it :) ). So it might have played a crucial role, but that's not the only reason for sure.
Right now, if it sounds a bit confusing, just keep in mind that we are at a basic level. No need to think of complicated theories; instead, think of how you don't get scared while watching a horror movie, and your mom does. Here you are: different people experience a different range of the same emotion. And it's either a life experience or either an innate predisposition that led to it.
In fact, this made me curious about why people around me experience it so often, while I haven't thought of it once (or at least haven't been using this exact term to describe it). While they're struggling with it, I would have a list of things to do and always be lacking time (it started being a problem at some point until I understood 'the concept' of priorities).
So, boredom is a lack of intellectual and/or physical activity. Activity leads to brain stimulation, which will elicit emotion in response to this outside stimuli.
So, that's what you have to determine on the first place. What exactly are you lacking?
1. Is it a daily routine that is eating you alive (distinctive features are: being okay with your life but finding it all dull and not interesting)? 2. Or have you just mentally overworked (here you're sick of your life, want to be a rebel, just do things to feel something)?
For the first case, an intellectual activity is key. For the second, a physical one.
Two things you can do are:
1. Create a list of potential activities (I heard of people with ADHD doing that - to help manage their attention).
2. Think of it on the spot - and benefit from an element of surprise if it's crucial for you.
That's already what you're doing already, but from now on, just try to be more self-conscious about it. You are already choosing from the activities you know, so the choice is very limited. Probably (since our brain is really lazy - which is actually a good thing! Sometimes :) ), you're choosing the easiest high-dopamine activity such as scrolling TikTok or Insta, masturbation, eating, or less often going out with friends and getting drunk (which is less probable because of the effort required).
Instead of that, I propose you diversify your choices and make it less self-destructive; in fact, even use this time beneficially.
Do not think that I'm telling you to eliminate 'chill' time and work only. NO! Because, for sure, it is really important to have time when you don't consume any information and just do nothing (processing and structuring your thoughts only).
The list should be divided into two categories:
I need an Intellectual activity:
- Become good at something - Favorite study - Math - Talk with people - Express feelings for people - Create something of your own (this works only if you're already good at something; if it's not the case, go back to the first activity proposed). - Make money
I need a physical one:
- "Life dangerous" (without actual life danger - but the one our brain considers as the catalyst for turning on the Basic Survival Instincts), such as swimming, cold shower, etc. - Favorite sport - Quick sport - Sex - Do absolutely nothing (I mean actually just look around you and think about random stuff)
The last piece of advice is: Keep in mind that you know yourself the best, so you have to look at this information through your preferences - only this way you'll be able to create a strong pattern system that is going to work for and not against you.
And keep in mind that: you are the only one responsible for your life.
Bonus for nerds:
So instead of doing top-down decision-making, you're going to be doing bottom-up decision-making. These are the notions Elisabeth Filips (source down below) has been using for describing a simple self-conscious analysis (the ability to understand what we actually need in this particular moment - to be more efficient and actually have control of ourselves and our actions). She introduced it while explaining how to stay focused and avoid any distractions. And by distractions, she meant scrolling = wasting time = procrastinating, while being scared of the upcoming deadline. In our case, there's no deadline, but a need for a pleasant activity. And a lot of people, in order to get it, seek it from sources (social media) that only give half of satisfaction compared to others (moving/thinking).
It's like washing your hands without soap because of not knowing that it exists or being too lazy to use it. So doing that is literally twice less efficient than properly washing them. Not particularly smart, right?

Irresistible Force - Part 4
Tending Towards Zero
Rating: M
Characters: Jakob, FCorrin, Xander, Silas, Camilla.
- They dance -
PART 3 | PART 5
---
Jakob found himself settling into routine before he even realised the month had ended and it was time to turn in his first report to Xander. Corrin was perhaps one of the easiest assignments he had ever been given – she was transparent and cooperative, and any potential threat to her safety seemed to be minimal at worst.
And yet at the same time, this job was in fact the most difficult thing he’d ever had to do. No matter how many times Jakob tried to school the jumble of inappropriate thoughts in his head into submission, it was painfully apparent that the more time he spent with Corrin, the worse his crush on her became.
At first, he tried to fight it, skirting the idea like the time bomb that it was, trying to convince himself that the frantic fluttering in his chest he felt when she lit up at the sight of the coffee he brought her every morning was the effect of the first few sips of his espresso, and that he only reason he had to swallow the heavy feeling he had on evenings where she dismissed him early was because he didn’t like the idea of having to commute on the trains during rush hour.
But it wasn’t duty that made him stop her at the door so he could retrieve a coat and make her put in on before he drove her to university, or any written clause in the contract they’d signed that required him to impulsively buy her flowers under the guise of “brightening up the place”.
“You’re always underdressed,” he complained, helping her into a long tan coat.
“I don’t remember the weather report. You’re my reminder.”
“What happens one day, when I’m not around to remind you?”
She grinned. “I’ll freeze and die. So you’d better be around.”
And it was at half-past eight, on a gloomy Wednesday morning, standing by her front door with her silk LV scarf in his hands, late again for classes, that he decided that he couldn’t fight it anymore.
Not when she spoke so thoughtlessly – empty, playful comments that made him wish for more time, more contact, more closeness. Not when her smile ignited something in Jakob that made him feel like everything inside him was alight, burning until it consumed every last beat of his heart, every last breath.
I love her, I love her, he realised, and it felt like someone had held a gun to his head and blown reality away.
---
The younger boy was nervous and Jakob suspected that he might have been intimidated by the prospect of confrontation, but once he finally found the courage to speak, it was clear that the subject of discussion was what had him on tenterhooks.
“Are you into her? Corrin, I mean.”
Jakob peered over the rim of his drink at him. He took another swallow. It was a sorry virgin substitute for a gin and tonic – the bartender had given him a very confused look when he asked for tonic water with a squeeze of lemon – and it was awful. But not as awful as this conversation he was being forced to have.
“Why?”
“Why do you think?” And all of a sudden, Silas was angry, his eyebrows scrunching, the corner of his mouth turning down. It overrode his nerves, but only served to make him look less anxious and more irrational. “You follow her around everywhere, it’s freaking weird. Every time I call her, she’s either with you or she says she’s gotta take you with her. What is hell is up with that?”
“It’s nothing,” Jakob replied simply.
Nothing. Just a contract.
He looked to where Corrin bent over at the pool table, lining up a shot as her tongue peeked out at the corner of her lips in concentration and her skirt rode up to where her patterned stockings faded at the border of the top of her thighs.
“I don’t have friends here. My mother wanted her to make sure I wasn’t spending my time alone.” Sometimes, he surprised himself with how easily the lies came to him.
“Oh,” Silas blinked, visibly relieved at the explanation.
“You know how Corrin can be.”
Silas nodded, unsuccessfully hiding a smile with a large swallow of beer. He picked up the coaster and folded it in half. “Sorry. I didn’t mean to imply –“
Jakob waved him off. “It’s fine.” God, he hated not being able to drink on the job.
“I mean, I thought it was pretty weird anyway, being her cousin and all, but if you were into her,” he chuckled awkwardly, “how messed up with that be?”
More than you could possibly imagine.
It was a mess of lies, a mess of secrets, a mess of emotion, a mess when he thought about her for too long while he lay in bed alone.
“Quite,” Jakob agreed.
But it wasn’t as messed up as this. The boy would take this as permission, of course, confirmation that it was acceptable to go ahead and sweep her off her feet, and Jakob had just given it himself, while still barely getting his head around the fact that the idea of her spending time with someone else – falling in love with someone else – made him feel sick with despair.
“Well, um, thanks for that.” Silas raised his beer at Jakob. “You’re not too bad, you know? Just need to cheer up a little. You’re always so serious.”
Jakob tilted the drink in his hand, watching as Corrin leaned back and gave a small victorious pump of her fist. She turned and caught his eye, flashing him a smile that made his heart twist with longing.
“You’re not the first to tell me that.”
---
Corrin was tired.
She couldn’t remember exactly when it had started to build up, but all of a sudden, midterms had arrived and she had three other assignments due within the week of each other, two quizzes worth ten percent of her final mark and no time. All of it seemed to blend into an endless, indecipherable blur of late nights and a constant feeling of dread, like something was chasing her and the moment she let her guard down, it would seize her and shred her to pieces.
Her only comfort lately had been, ironically, her own bodyguard. When Xander had insisted that they hire a new one, she had tried to talk him out of it. She was old enough; she could look after herself, and besides, no one knew who she was anyway. It wasn’t like the Paparazzi were camping outside her apartment.
But Xander would not relent. She had to either get a bodyguard or move back home. Defeated, Corrin asked for a compromise: she would accept another bodyguard if she was allowed to choose the person protecting her. Xander agreed to let her accompany him downtown to the offices of Northern Fortress, and there, a block away from the conversation she would have with Gunter over a bunch of files, she met Jakob for the first time.
She shouldn’t have been surprised when his photo came up – of course the tie and the black bomber was a uniform – and once it did, she immediately lost interest in every other guard she had seen. He was handsome even in the standard headshot, his pale hair pulled back neatly to reveal the strong lines of his jaw, his blue gaze dark and solemn, and she knew the voice that passed those lips was accented in a way that gave her butterflies when he spoke.
I want him.
And he turned out to be more than just a firm hand and a handsome face. He was intelligent, efficient, serious to a fault, but also incredibly witty, and she found herself more and more prone to laughing in his presence. He was thoughtful. After she had commented on his coffee on the first day of semester, he brought her coffee every morning, a tall, strong latte that she knew he ordered hot so that it would still be warm by the time it reached her.
He was attentive. As the weather grew colder, Jakob wouldn’t let her leave the house without putting on a coat. The first time, it was genuine forgetfulness on her part – Corrin liked to wear skirts and dresses, and with the heating running at her apartment almost constantly, she never knew what the true temperature outside would be. But when he briefly vanished and reappeared with a coat from her wardrobe and then proceeded to put it on her and slowly button it up to her collar, she felt herself flush pleasantly from the feeling of his hands on her.
Every morning she forgot afterwards was entirely deliberate.
Jakob stood close when he did this, and she could smell the faint, fresh scent of his cologne, momentarily imagine that all this was happening in reverse and he would undress her, take her to bed and do things with his pretty mouth that would make her lose her mind.
He was kind. The one time she panicked at the sight of a spider, he had come running, so suddenly wrenched from his own evening that his hair was still damp from the shower she had clearly interrupted. But he still helped her even though he didn’t have to, and he’d even stayed afterwards to make her dinner. Corrin had pushed the limits of what was appropriate that evening, going so far as to try and get him drunk, but he was still, infuriatingly, a gentleman, even with almost four glasses of wine in him, and she had drunk too much herself to do anything other than fall asleep on the sofa. It was a small miracle that he’d woken her to get her to go to sleep properly and then somehow made it home without killing himself.
The only thing she’d really gotten out of that had been the fact that he used to be a ranking officer in the Royal Marines, and the thought of him in uniform only helped elevate her daydreams to a level that left her agitated and distracted.
It was almost ridiculous, how quickly and desperately attached to Jakob she had become, even though she knew he had nothing but a professional interest in her. Despite his ability to be constantly and consistently wonderful, he always seemed to be standing an arm’s length away from her, and it drove her crazy how someone could be near her every single day, and still not be close enough.
In fact, if Corrin took a step back from the sheer physical attraction that clouded her judgement, she found that she craved conversation with him the most, the hilariously dry banter that he would toss her way to bat back, the way he sighed when she said something nonsensical, the very rare smiles he would occasionally turn away to hide. She wanted to know him, not just be beside him, and it frustrated her to no end that it was impossible, given his role in her life.
Still, there were moments where these lines blurred and she couldn’t quite tell if Jakob was carefully toeing some sort of boundary, or if she were simply choosing to see it that way. He had brought her irises one morning, beautiful and so blue that they made his eyes almost look violet, and her heart had leapt excitedly into her throat at the sight of them, even though he said it was for no reason other than the fact that her apartment looked too dull and grey for his liking.
Lately, he had taken to the habit of remaining for just an hour or so after he drove her home from the university to make her dinner. She had told him it really wasn’t necessary, but he simply continued to do so, going so far as to set the table, before leaving for the day.
The only time Jakob stayed to eat with her, she had asked him to explicitly, sick of how empty her apartment felt after he was gone, hungry for more time in his company so she could tease him and hopefully this time, get him to laugh.
“Are your tests and assignments done?”
She sighed heavily. “Almost. I’ll be done by the start of next week.”
He moved another helping of green beans onto her plate. “Make sure you eat. Drink plenty of water, rest. And not at your desk. Go to sleep in your bed.”
“Yes, mum,” she rolled her eyes.
He cleared his throat, but it might have also been a noise of amusement.
“Would I… be able to help you at all?”
She looked up at him and saw that he had stopped eating, watching her almost uncertainly as he waited for her response.
“You’re already doing plenty.”
“Well,” he sighed quietly, “let me know if I can do anything else.”
You could kiss me, she wanted to say, but it was absurd, because he was just being nice, and she was being monumentally stupid about all this, letting her mind run away with deliberate misinterpretations, just because he had agreed to have dinner with her.
“Thank you, Jakob,” she said instead.
He shooed her to the study after dinner and insisted that he would do the dishes. By the time she returned to check on him, he had already left.
---
It had been almost five whole minutes since he had shut off the engine, but in the darkness of the basement garage, he sat without moving, his hands still on the wheel as he watched her sleep.
Gently, ever so gently, he reached across to push the hair away from her face.
She looked peaceful, beautiful enough to break his heart.
“Corrin,” he whispered.
Her eyelids fluttered open.

oh I have so many thoughts on this. The halloween bags specifically are only a small part of the picture here, and it’s honestly brilliant.
So Neopets has a few events that happen more or less every year at the same time and follow the same basic pattern—e.g. there’s a “Negg Festival” around Easter and this trick-or-treating event on Halloween. Normally, the team creates a whole set of new items for each of these events, ranging from common to rare/collectible. So, for example, previous years’ trick-or-treat bags would have common drops that were fun little items that didn’t do much, and then one or two rarer drops like a new stamp, book, or gourmet food—all consumables that are guaranteed to go up in price, due to constant demand and only being available at this one point in time. (Paint Brushes are also commonly used as rare prizes, even though they’re not event-exclusive, since demand for those is widespread and “evergreen”.)
It was important to participate in site events, because holding on to these items was the easiest way to make money (neopoints) in the long run. You would jump through whatever hoops the event entailed, and then sock away your prizes for a few years until they mostly stabilized, since there’s a huge difference between “released for free last week” and “released for free a year ago” but not as much between prizes released 5 vs. 6 years ago.
However. The site has been suffering from wild inflation, largely due to botting/hacking, but also because of an old gambling “game” called Food Club whose payout scales based on the age of your account, with no cap (there is a cap on winnings from one bet, but it’s high enough that it’s usually irrelevant). 20-year-old accounts can make about 100k a day from it on average with minimal effort. Keep in mind that Flash games—ostensibly the main way to generate neopoints—pay out just 1k max per play, and you can only do that three times per game per day. 100k would have taken hours of effort even at the site’s peak when all its games were available. And the Food Club money faucet is being exploited by the site’s horde of botters—bots have generated hundreds of billions of neopoints through FC, according to someone with access to site logs.
All this is to say that, like in any economy experiencing inflation, it’s lately been better to invest in assets than to keep liquid cash. People don’t want to sell their old, exclusive event items, because those could be worth ten times as much in a month. So it’s hard to buy anything even as an established player, and new accounts that can’t make as much from Food Club have almost no way to catch up. The inflation has even affected very rare items that are not event exclusives, especially since botters have an advantage snatching those up too.
So the site’s economy is in dire straits. The new CEO has his work cut out for him. What are they to do?
Well.
Since the new guy took over, the site events changed tack a bit. Like the OP mentioned, the last event (Faerie Festival) included loot boxes with a small chance to drop rare items, but only the ones that are still technically available in NPC shops, if you can buy faster than a bot. However, the event ALSO had two other components that granted items—one was a daily item giveaway, and the other was a prize shop where you can redeem participation points—and the pools for both of those, which normally would be stocked with event exclusives, instead were stocked completely with items that already existed on the site. Many were normal items of medium-high rarity, but quite a few were previously exclusive to a certain event or item code from years ago.
And the pattern has continued for this Halloween event, AND the “daily/weekly quests” feature which launched the same day (triggering the worst lag I’ve ever seen on the site). Previous event prizes, even those at the highest tier, are no longer exclusive. Nothing is off the table.
This is genius for two reasons: we know the site is running on a shoestring budget, so reusing items to save artist, designer, and programmer time is shrewd. It lets them do more with less. And, of course, it sends a clear signal to hoarders that their investments carry risk. Buying up a bunch of event items while they’re cheap is no longer a guaranteed profit, because the team may just rerelease them next year! Might be time to sell off that uber-rare vintage stamp/weapon and diversify a little, because the biggest-ticket items are now the biggest targets!
Ultimately they still need to address the botters, cheating, and site security issues; this is only a partial fix. But it’s a huge step in the right direction, and I’m looking forward to seeing what they do next.
god i wish i wouldn't have to explain the intricacies of the neopets economy to you guys to give the full context for this but. the new neopets team that took over from jumpstart pledged that they were going to curb the inflation of rare items, which is great because a lot of rare items are worth literally hundreds of millions of neopoints, they are unbuyable unless you've been playing actively for 20 years. they did this earlier with a site festival that included random loot boxes, some of which had Unbelievably Fucking Rare And Precious items worth 200 million neopoints apiece.
well.
today they have gone a step further. by releasing this year's trick-or-treat bags. and having the trick-or-treat bags be stuffed to the brim with unbelievably fucking rare stamps, weapons, paint brushes, defense magic, and other unbuyables. (all prohibitively expensive and in-high-demand types of items.)
jellyneo, the premier neopets website, has recorded prices of some items plummeting from 2,000,000 neopoints to 4,000 neopoints IN THE LAST THREE HOURS. this is when most people haven't even heard about the event or OPENED THEIR BAGS YET.
and of course. cherry on top. 20-year-old account holders are crytyping on the site events neoboard about how mean and cruel it is to make rare stamps part of the prize pool, because their entire identity hinges on being part of the neopian bourgeoisie, and they are having MELTDOWNS over their assets being devalued until they're part of the lowly proletariat.
this is a children's game for children btw.
none of the money is real.
i'm having such a good time.
#neopets#I am a little sympathetic to people who got blindsided by the first exclusive item rerelease#but they had to rip that bandaid off at some point and it’s for the good of the site as a whole#your stamp won’t be worth a billion if the site goes bankrupt anyway

Why Digital Signage Solutions Are Best For Restaurants
As a restaurateur, you would want your eatery to be people’s first preference. The tremendous rise in competition, however, may make it challenging. Even if your eatery is a cut above the norm, how would people frequent it unless they know about it? So, Digital Signage solutions for QSRs/restaurants can be one of the quickest, easiest and most cost-effective solutions. But, digital signage does a lot more than just promote a restaurant.
Inform and engage customers
The combination of a digital signage solution’s hardware and software components will help you play audio/visual formats to share information and entertain. If your restaurant is at a shopping mall or a city square, people may walk past it and also a plain print ad. Electronic signage, however, can make your restaurant stand out and attract customers with the visuals of mouth-watering food combined with great deals or special meals.
Quick decisions for the customers
In the quick service restaurant (QSR) market, digital signage with a trusted partner such as Waulite will prove to be a significant tool to keep consumers informed, delighted and attracted to screens at strategic locations. Hungry customers can make quick and educated selections as digital menu boards will be at their easy disposal. Fast service makes them happy and you can serve more people. Eaters can also order food through QR coded menus on the screen. Ordering food through QR code menus placed at easy accessing points also proves to be a swift way to save service staff’s time and increase productivity.
Customisable Menu
You can quickly customize the menu as per your kitchen’s feedback or change things if you run out of a dish or ingredients. Edit the menu in the background and keep the customers in the loop. After all, no one likes getting hyped about a dish only to find out it’s unavailable.
Run News, Sports, weather information
Keeping news, sports or weather information running will entertain the guests, and make them spend more time at your restaurant. They won’t get bored or frustrated while waiting for their order or standing in a queue. Don’t we know how unforgiving customers can be if the service is slow for any reason!
Localize Offerings
You know the pattern of orders and your customers’ choices. So, you can produce and distribute different localized menus and information based on your target audience’s preferences and interests.
Share recipe and cuisine Information
People like knowing the recipe of their favourite dish and its nutritional value. You can display the culinary information and nutrition suggestions to educate your clients and win brownie points.
Grow Social Audience
Display social feeds and encourage customers to like and share material, increasing your media presence. Customers can give comments and evaluations in exchange for vouchers or freebies. Testimonials by other satisfied customers can also increase sales.
Employee Training and motivation
You can educate and train employees easily to increase productivity and motivate them by highlighting top performers, high achievers, and other examples.
Sign up with Digital Signage Solutions and have complete control of your QSR chain at all the outlets of your franchise right from your head office. Customise menu boards across locations and do a lot more to delight your customers.

Okay so the reason Pitbulls can be a dangerous dog is because they're terriers with a relatively strong bite force.
There are other breeds with much stronger bites that aren't considered as dangerous because the strength of the bite isn't the main issue.
You see, terriers as a breed were created as rodent control.
Quick bit of background before I get into why that's an issue.
Wolves have a predatory motor sequence that follows this pattern
orient > eye > stalk > chase > grab-bite > kill-bite > dissect > consume
When we started creating different dog breeds for different jobs we started playing around with emphasizing or deemphasizing different parts of that sequence. For example collies, as a herding breed, have a heavily emphasized Chase, a greatly deemphasizes grab-bite and the rest of the chain after that is all but extinct. When whatever he's chasing stops moving my smooth collie just stops and waits for them to run again!
Coming back to terriers and their job of rodent control. When you've got a lot of rodents to get rid of you don't want your dog wasting time with the dissect > consume portion of the sequence and the grab-bite is much less important than the kill-bite. Essentially what you've got in a terrier is See > Chase > Kill-Bite, and maybe a de-emphasized grab-bite before the kill-bite, ad infinitum until all the rodents are gone.
How this translates to why terriers are dangerous when it comes to people? It's a breed that was created with a mentality of bite to kill and keep biting until it's killed then move on to the next target.
There's really just no space to pause and breathe where the sequence can be more easily interrupted.
And this holds true for all terrier breeds! Not just Pitbulls! A Yorkshire terrier isn't as large though, and while an Airdale terrier is larger they aren't very common.
Pair this with the breeding of Pitbulls for aggression for use in dog fighting rings, their intimidating looks making them a popular choice for people who want a dog to act aggressively and are likely to abuse the dog, and a general misunderstanding and mismanagement of the dog and you've got Public Enemy Number One despite the fact they are the biggest damn sweethearts in the world. Those eyes! They get me every time.
People will leave their Pitbull alone with smaller pets, or even children, and something will trigger the predatory sequence and the dog will be over-threshold and unable to think rationally (think fight/flight mode) and start biting and won't stop until whatever they're biting is dead. And then they'll blame the dog when they're the ones that shouldn't have left the dog unsupervised in the first place.
Is a Pitbull dangerous? Every Pitbull has the potential to be dangerous, yes, regardless of how well they are trained or how much they've been spoiled or how loved they are.
It is our job as owners to mitigate that potential danger and the easiest and most impactful thing we can do is never leave them unsupervised around anything or anyone who can't manage them if their predatory sequence is triggered. If there's no one to supervise, crate them until someone can be.
The dog isn't the problem. They were bred to do a specific job and nine times out of ten aren't receiving enrichment for those instincts either!
But people who don't understand the temperament of the dog they're bringing into their home assume that genetics doesn't impact behaviour, or that training can negate genetic influence and come home from work to a mass murder scene in their living room.
So, are pitbulls a dangerous breed? Absolutely! Are Pitbulls the problem? Absolutely not.
Do you know what the consensus on pit bulls is? Some people say the negative stereotypes surrounding them are unfair, while others insist they’re inherently dangerous dogs that shouldn’t be kept as pets. Both views are biased to some degree, so I don’t know which to believe.
they're just. dogs.
and same as german shepards, same as huskies, same as dalmations, they have specific breed requirements and aren't right for every home! also like all dogs, they have to be trained to be a reliable and safe pet. but with their needs met and good training, they're about the same as any other dog in their size range (with individual exceptions for personal history and trauma of course)
#for what it's worth I don't leave my collie unsupervised#around anything he shows a desire to chase either#i trust he'd never try to hurt it#but why take the risk?#recently learned that if another dog is involved and increasing that excitement level#he'll at minimum move to the grab-bite part of the sequence#(he and the papillon were chasing ducks and she was hyping him up and encouraging him and raising the excitement level well past his normal#(and he grabbed the poor duck)#(who is completely fine btw)#(there were multiple adults around to intervene)#basically always assume your dog can go there#and you'll reduce the likelihood they ever will

How to Incorporate Black and White Wall Decor into Any Interior Design Style
Discover the power of black and white wall decor in transforming any space. Explore ideas, tips, and tricks for incorporating this classic color scheme into your home with our expert blog.
When it comes to wall decoration, there's nothing quite as timeless and versatile as the classic black and white color scheme. Whether you're going for a minimalist look or something more bold and dramatic, black and white wall decoration can work wonders. In this blog post, we'll explore some ideas, tips, and tricks for incorporating black and white wall decoration into your home.
Create a Black and White Gallery Wall
One of the most popular ways to decorate a black and white wall is to create a gallery wall. A gallery wall is a collection of art pieces, photos, or other wall decor items arranged in a visually appealing way. To create a black and white gallery wall, start by selecting pieces that have a black and white color scheme. This can include black and white photographs, abstract art, typography prints, or even black and white tapestries. Arrange the pieces in a way that is visually balanced, either by arranging them in a grid or by creating a more organic arrangement.
Use Black and White Wallpaper
Another way to incorporate black and white into your wall decoration is to use black and white wallpaper. This can add a bold and dramatic look to your space, especially if you choose a patterned wallpaper that includes both black and white. Alternatively, you can choose a solid black or white wallpaper to create a more minimalist look. Keep in mind that wallpapering an entire room can be quite time-consuming, so it's best to start with a small accent wall or even just a section of a wall.
Mix and Match Black and White Decor Items
If you're not ready to commit to a black and white wall decoration scheme, you can still incorporate black and white into your decor by mixing and matching black and white decor items. This can include black and white throw pillows, blankets, curtains, rugs, and even furniture. The key is to find a balance between black and white, so your space doesn't feel too heavy on one side or the other.
Add Texture with Black and White Wall Hangings
Another way to incorporate black and white into your wall decoration is to use textured wall hangings. This can include black and white macrame wall hangings, woven tapestries, or even black and white string art. These types of wall hangings can add visual interest and texture to your space, while still keeping the black and white color scheme.
Keep it Simple with Black and White Typography
Finally, one of the easiest ways to incorporate black and white into your wall decoration is to use black and white typography. This can include inspirational quotes, song lyrics, or even just simple words like "love" or "home". You can use vinyl decals, stencils, or even paint to create your typography, making it a simple and affordable way to add a black and white touch to your space.

How To Get The Most Out Of Your Push Up Resistance Band Workouts
As we examine it more closely, it becomes apparent that it has a vast and complex history that is worth exploring push up resistance bands.
Push up workouts are a great way to get your heart rate up and improve your cardiovascular health. But they can also be tedious and time-consuming, which is why many people prefer to do them at home. Luckily, there’s an app for that! Push Up Trainer presents a simple interface that lets you set the intensity of your workout and track your progress. So whether you’re a beginner or an experienced exerciser, check out Push Up Trainer for a challenging yet efficient push up routine.
How to Add More Resistance To Your Push Up Resistance Band Workouts
Resistance band workouts are a great way to add more resistance to your push up workouts. Adding resistance will make the exercises more challenging, and help you increase your workout intensity. Here are three ways to add resistance to your push up workouts: 1. Use a heavier weight. This is by far the easiest way to increase your resistance level. Simply pick up a heavier weight and complete the same number of reps as you would with a light weight. 2. Use smaller bands. If you don't have access to a heavy resistance band, you can use a smaller band instead. This will also give you more variation in your workouts since the bands will be larger and smaller in different areas. 3. Add extra sets. If adding a heavier or smaller band is not an option, try adding an extra set of reps before moving on to the next exercise. This will help you work harder without having to change the intensity of your workout too much.
How to Make Your Push Up Resistance Band Workouts More Effective
Push up resistance band workouts can be a great addition to your exercise routine. Resistance bands offer a unique challenge that can result in increased muscle strength and endurance. To make your push up resistance band workouts more effective, follow these tips: 1) Choose the right band. Push up resistance bands come in different sizes and weights. Make sure to select one that is appropriate for your level of fitness. 2) Get familiar with the movement. Once you have selected the right band, it is important to become familiar with the movement pattern. Start by doing simple reps with the band attached to a sturdy post or pillar, then progress to using the band as part of your regular workout routine. 3) Add variety. To keep your push up resistance band workouts interesting, try incorporating different movements into your set list, such as bodyweight squats, lunges and jurty tosses. This will help to keep your muscles challenged and stimulate new growth.
How to Adjust the Difficulty of Your Push Up Resistance Band Workouts
If you're looking to up the difficulty of your push up resistance band workouts, here are a few tips to help you out. 1. Add more weight. The more weight you add to the resistance band, the harder your workout will be. Try using a heavier weight for your first few sessions, and then eventually work down to a lighter weight as your muscles get stronger. 2. Use different grips. Another way to make your push up resistance band workouts harder is to switch up the grip you use on the band. Try using an overhand grip, a neutral grip, or even a pistols grip. This will challenge your muscles in different ways and help improve your overall endurance. 3. Change up your pace. If you find yourself getting tired quickly during your resistance band workouts, try changing up the pace of the exercise by adding more repetitions or lowering the intensity level a bit. This will help keep you engaged and motivated throughout the entire workout!

You've just installed a chain link fence around your property, and now you're searching for ways to cover it up. You could purchase a fence cover, but they can be expensive. You could also make your cover, which can be time-consuming. Several other options are available, including planting vines along the fence or using a lattice to cover it up. This article will explore a few of the best options for covering up your chain link fence on a budget. Inexpensive Ways To Cover A Chain Link Fence Creative Coverings for Chain Link Fences There are many ways to cover a chain link fence without spending much money. You can use plants, flowers, vines, or even wood panels. Plants are one of the easiest and most affordable ways to cover a chain link fence. You can use plants that grow well in your climate or choose plants specifically meant to cover fences. Be sure to plant them close enough together so that they will grow and protect the fence quickly. Another option is to use flowers. You can either grow your flowers or buy them from a local florist or farmer's market. Be sure to choose flowers that will last a long time so you won't have to replace them often. If you want to use vines, choose ones that won't damage the fence. Some good options are grapes, clematis, and morning glory. Train the vines onto the fence and trim them so they don't overtake them completely. Finally, you can also cover a chain link fence with wood panels. This is a more expensive option, but it can look nice if done correctly. You can either buy pre-made panels or have them custom-made. If you choose to make your panels, use strong wood like oak or cedar. Natural Materials for DIY Fence Screens There are a few natural materials that you can use to cover up your chain link fence and give it a new look. One option is to use bamboo fencing. Bamboo is a natural material that comes in various colors, so you can find one that will match your fence and home. Another option is to use faux ivy. Faux ivy is a synthetic material that looks like real ivy and comes in various colors and sizes. You can find faux ivy at most home improvement stores. You can use grapevines if you want to use a natural material but don't want to spend much money. Grapevines are easy to grow, and they come in a variety of colors. You can find grapevines at most garden stores. Use Existing Structures to Cover Your Fence You don't need to spend much money to cover up your chain link fence. There are a lot of ways to do it that won't cost you anything at all. One option is to use existing structures in your yard. For example, you can drape a blanket or sheet over the fence or use climbing plants to cover it up. You could also install a trellis or arbor and grow vines or flowers. You can buy or build a lattice panel to cover the fence if you want something more permanent. This is a great option if you want to add privacy or security to your yard. Make Your Panel Covers With Fabric or Burlap Why not design your panel covers if you're looking for a more creative way to cover up a chain link fence? All you need is some fabric or burlap, sturdy grommets, and rope or zip ties. The easiest way to make these DIY panel covers is to lay out your fabric or burlap and use grommets every two feet along the sides. To finish each panel, zip-tie the fabric or burlap onto the fence. You can also use rope if you prefer something a bit more rustic. These panel covers are inexpensive and look great, and add texture, color, and pattern to your yard. Plus, they're much easier to install than conventional fencing and can be easily changed seasonally. So go ahead, have some fun with it! Hide Your Chain Link With Climbing Vines and Trees If you're looking for a natural way to hide your chain link fence, why not try growing trees and climbing vines? Trees are an excellent way to provide both privacy and beauty. You can create a lush, green backdrop by planting evergreen trees and climbing vines along each side of the fence.
The best part is that these plants will take a little time to grow. Depending on your type, most climbers will reach their full height within a few years while providing valuable shade and wind protection. Keep up with regular pruning so the vine or tree doesn't get too overgrown and overwhelm the fence. Upcycle Old Furniture Into Fence Covers If you're creative, try upcycling old furniture into fun fence covers. You can use an old headboard as a trellis. Please attach it to the fencing and grow vines, flowers, or other plants from the top. You could make a large artwork from your discarded furniture if you feel extra crafty. Just have fun with it! For something more practical, turn your old dressers into planters and space them along the fence. This works especially well when dealing with shorter fences, as the dressers will serve as both a planter and a way to cover the top of the fence. You can also upcycle furniture into benches alongside your fence and provide seating space for visitors. Conclusion So, there are options if you're on a tight budget or want to spend less money on covering your chain link fence. Just take a little time to find the right materials, and you'll be on your way to a much better fence!
