The genetics actually make perfect sense because Hopper's father crashed mid-flight into a circus wizard's tower, right into the potion storage. He then shifted into a sparkly, purple monstrosity, and the excess magic carried over into Hopper's egg.

webtoon up to their crappy money making BS again 😐 aren't they already making enough money off their tens of millions of monthly readers? Did they set up this whole coin system with the end goal of using their site as an advertising platform?

Webtoon doesn't even feel like it's about web comics anymore. It's about piggybacking off creators' hard work to suck money from its users, credit card or not.

If the comic is ongoing, there's a fast pass system, with coins to advance. If the comic is finished, there's a daily pass system, with coins to advance. If the comic is popular and finished in another language, there's both. A popular webtoon will be complete and you have 60 days max to binge read before it's paywalled despite the fact you might have kept up with it for years at that point.

Now it's not enough for you to scroll through the episodes to get coins, now they want you to do a quiz. There might not even be enough slots for everyone to do the quiz! There was a time when there was no expiration date on coins you earned. Now you only get to keep the coins for 7 days. Go drop dead, right now.

From what I've read, creators don't get paid if someone purchases fast pass with free coins. I never thought webtoon was a benevolent entity creating a safe haven for aspiring comic creators, but their real greed as a company under multibillion-won-earning Naver is finally showing.

so i just saw a video by Danny Motta on instagram where he says he agrees to react to Epic the Musical if he gets to 1million followers BUT if he gets there BEFORE 2025 he will react to ALIEN STAGE. It has been 2 weeks and he has gone from 850K followers to 900K, potentially because of this video. If you there are an alien stage enjoyer, GO FOLLOW HIM JUST FOR THIS MAYBE :D

I reblogged someone else's post with my theory, but I also want a more easily accessible place to voice this idea.

I think it would be even more rude if Interlude #2: The Clearing (the Patreon-exclusive Umora one-shot releasing between Chapters 3 and 4 for those who haven't heard) is a story that seems entirely unrelated to the present day, and then we somehow figure out that the setting the story took place in is (like that OP said) the place that will one day be the Irulian Desert... but the wizards don't show up until the end.

I can't remember if you've ever clarified, but how exactly did Twyla's parents die? (I can't remember much of her route, so if the answer's in there i apologise in advance 😭)

It's not said in her route (or the game in general), but there is a nod to how they died in the Cemetery Mary artbook! (available for purchase on Steam and itch.io)

CotC global tried to make one of the characters who's available in the general guide pool for Japan (Promme) exclusive to in-shop purchases, and my first reaction was to write an entire paragraph complaining explaining why that's a terrible idea in the feedback section

"Feedback" is found by heading to the Other section and clicking on Contact (right next to the button for backing up your data), and then clicking the big Contact button on the screen that pops up, and scrolling down and clicking on Feedback...

y'know, for anyone else who feels like trying to explain to SE why locking random characters behind a paywall who are available in the general pool in Japan is super not cool

You see the problem with trying to talk to ppl abt oni lore is that most ppl who have read the logs are like on tier 3 while I'm on tier 7. And most ppl past that can't match my freak because of tier 6 being such a massive hurdle. And I theoretically have the power to make tier 6 stop existing and bridge the gap between layer 5 and 7 but that'd require me single handedly updating the wiki and god damn do I not want to do that
