HE FINALLY DID IT 🥹🧡 At his 110th GP, Lando Norris is now a Formula 1 Grand Prix Winner! I don't even know where to begin describing how proud I am of him. Seeing him take the lead, maintain it right until the end and cross the finish line in P1 was something I'll never forget.

I was smiling so wide and had tears in my eyes. Lando, you are truly incredible! Not only did he bounce back superbly from the disappointment of the Sprint, but he absolutely delivered in the race. He drove like the superstar we all knew he was and finished +7.612s ahead of Max 👏🏻

No words could ever be enough to express how happy I am for him or how proud I am of him. He is amazing and this is no doubt the first win of many. Let's go, Lando 🔥

This guitar was built right at the beginning of the run for the "Competition" version of the model. These were introduced in the May 1969 issue of FENDER FACTS to freshen up the model's appeal, incorporating "added features and all new styling". The Blue metallic "car" finish and "racing" stripe on the body (and a snazzy matching headstock) were meant to evoke the car culture "The kids" were thought to be digging at the time. Not sure if this is the right place to ask this or whether this is even a point for discussion but looking at recent times L has said he’s not feeling well/ has been sick and that these appear to line up with H stunt appearances. The way he was speaking about his arm injury from Europe tour in interview today seemed specifically worded?

Running too fast, close to finish line , finish line too close to a wall and ended in injury. With the recent ‘finish line’ theories and walls imagery he then speaks about this today again. Saying “I decided about 12 months ago, I used to be quick when I was 18, a quick runner, decent sprinter, and I decided that I could still keep up with that pace. But I can’t.” Obviously there has also been a lot of talk about H’s tour schedule and overwork recently too. This might just be crazy late night thoughts when reading those quotes but they just seemed to be about more than the surface level of hurting his arm?

Huh, interesting thought, nonnie.

For you to be successful, you must ensure you're in the right lane. If things are not working out, Park and check. Never giving up is good, but we should learn to hit the brakes also to check for possible faults.

📍Acceleration There is no better time to start what you intend to do than NOW! Every passing day is a page flipped where we never get the chance to write upon again📝

I picked up Biomutant on the steam store. It’s on sale all weekend. Been playing that and the Witcher 3. Both look pretty amazing at 1440p max on the 6700. Last gen games also seem to use considerably less wattage than the latest. The PS5 power draw is maybe a little better but not by much. I still like Godfall a lot but I can see where it’s borrowed from a genre I slept on. Biomutant is similar with some gun fu added in and slow mo. I guess its a heavy nod to the Arkham Asylum games I never played. Its a RPG with levels but feels more like a beat ‘‘em up. It’s also single player and not online. Trying to just tune out all the politics and performance out there and enjoy what I have. We don’t all have to be connected especially if we all don’t understand and respect the weight of each other’s sacrifices. Had enough fun participating in the pain Olympics here in America. I’m boycotting them on behalf of human rights. I’ll settle for gold healthcare coverage and a place beyond the finish line. 🏁

In the Harold Speed book, The Practice and Science of Drawing, there is an exercise on figure drawing and building up the scaffolding lines for construction.

The basic principle is to have one or two vertical lines and then measure out some horizontal points from there, adding more until you have some basic points in place and can then add some angled lines.

These are simply as a guide to aim for accurate proportions and on the finished piece would be erased.  In this case they are left in for demonstration purposes, to my mind the drawing actually looks better half-finished and with these lines in place.

Anyway, having some degree of success with that copying the man on the right I then applied the same principle to a couple of more erm… contemporary figures.

Can you use these ancient skills to draw Spongebob? Well, it appears you can, he looks fairly well proportioned to me.  Though to be fair you could probably get wrong and not tell the difference.

I posted both to Instagram at exactly the same time and with the same hashtags to see which would get the most “likes” within 24 hours.

By one point the old guy won so he gets to go on display in the gallery.
