She had no teeth yet; Bellatrix stared at the pink gums where white bone would one day penetrate, and she swore to herself that she would never let anyone harm her.

Walburga was the most beautiful woman Bellatrix knew; she understood why she was the one who got to be a princess. Bellatrix always felt proud when people pointed out how much she looked like her aunt. Walburga raised a brow. She rarely did more than that, Bellatrix had noticed; her expression remained unfazed regardless of situations. She reminded Bellatrix of one of those muggle paintings, the one's that were frozen still in a moment's glimpse of captured, imprisoned and immortalised beauty. "Get up off the floor, you two."

Bellatrix nodded, gently running her hand over Narcissa's hair. "One day, I'll buy us our own mansion by the sea, somewhere far, far away. I'll buy you your very own star, one you can see from the front porch, and I'll name it Narcissa for you." Andromeda smiled dizzily, as if drunk on the thought of a place that was just theirs. "You can't just claim the stars, Bella." Bellatrix stubbornly jutted out her chin. "Of course I can, Andy. I'm Bellatrix Black." "Can you really?" Narcissa beamed, eyes full of the naïve wonder that only a child could ever have. Bellatrix smiled softly. "I told you, Cissy, I'm Bellatrix Black. I was born in silence, and one day I'll be foam on the waves, but as long as I'm here, there's nothing we can't claim. Do you know why?" Narcissa shook her head. Andromeda watched with big, curious eyes. "It's because I love you. Both of you. And that's the purest form of energy."

What kind of clothes would Vasco wear after Machete's death? He tends to wear bright and warm colors, and I was wondering if he would start wearing dark and cool colors to reflect his inner state

I also had thought that he might start to veer towards more somber shades. In reality, late 16th century fashion was dominated by dark colors, if you look at portraits from late renaissance/early baroque eras you quickly notice that pitch black was the most fashionable color (compare that to early and high renaissance fashion from 1400 to 1550 which was visibly more vibrant and colorful). I might be bending the timeline a little bit by having him dress in vivid blues with gold accents, but it's his signature style and I think it mirrors his luminous, free-spirited and approachable personality well. After Machete's death he might've experienced a period where jewel tones had lost their luster to him.

I love that in the JTTW source material, Sun Wukong is never shown any romantic interest towards anyone and does occassionally make fun of Zhu Bajie and his escapades, but it's still very clear he loves the people aroud him. We love an aroace monkey king.

But I also really really really love that Black Myth Wukong adds their own twist and gave both Sun Wukong AND the Destined One (or rather his past reincarnation) love stories?? Sun Wukong has the tragedy going on with the White Bone Demon, he struck her three times to kill her (granted she did try to eat his master LOL), but he was never able to let her go and it is one of the many reasons why he wanted to leave buddahood behind and reject the celestial court.

With the Destined One, it is heavily implied in the game that the 4th spider sister was married to the previous Destined One (can I also add, excellent taste monkey, 10/10 I would marry her too), but obviously the prev Destined One carried on with his quest and well, probably never returned lol.

Anyway, I think it's a nice touch that each Destined One isn't just another reincarnation on a quest trying to become the new Sun Wukong, and that they can fall in love and get married too. The game doesn't tell us much about the Destined One's personality, with him being a silent protagonist so it's nice to see details like this.
