Favorite thing about him: Huge and Large alien slug mafia boss. What more need I say, really?

Favorite line of his: I don’t think a single one of Jabba’s very few lines of dialogue tops the fact that his laugh literally sounds like “ho ho ho”. That’s his best line lol.

OTP: Villain x Creepy Little Freak Henchman™️ dynamics are everything to me so obviously he’s been married to Bib Fortuna since 1983. Also because I think Han Solo deserves to be sexualized to make up for the decades of gross Princess Leia sexualization, I’m just gonna say I ship him with Han Solo. Why not. Let’s see the smuggler in the metal bikini, huh? huh?

Unpopular opinion: I think the unironic “Jabba the Hutt is my favorite Star Wars character” is enough lol

Fav pic of him: idk, I’m just gonna go off about Jabba concept art. I love love love these designs where he has like a suspensor chair instead of his final rolling platform/ dais. This design obviously would have been near impossible to puppeteer (as far as I know the dais was actually an integral part of his design because the puppet was too difficult to maneuver with the puppeteers beneath the set floor— a setup that would have allowed Jabba to sit directly on the floor), but I do sometimes wonder if Star Wars were to have come out a decade or so later if this would have been the final design via a completely cgi Jabba. Not saying it would have looked good lol, but food for thought.

Also obsessed with this one that’s got more of a mammalian centipede kinda thing going on. Far more monstrous and animal than his final design. I also wonder if this was scrapped because the limbs would have made for more complex puppeteering.

Lastly I also love this one for some reason. I think it’s cuz he just doesn’t look evil at all to me lol. Like this design has such a sagely old man look, his personality would have been soo different with something more akin to this I think. Like even the suspensor chair Jabbas manage convey more of a sophisticated, sinister personality than final Jabba does despite being the same creature design, but this one is just world’s different. He intrigues me.
