Jenny Jugo (Victoria in Dover, A hopeless Case, Our Miss Doctor)—I just love her! She was an Austrian actress during the 20s & 30s & 40s who was among the big UFA stars. She was beautiful but still appeared to be natural and likeable. Often she played witty, smart, independent and confident (for the time) modern women both in silent and in talking movies. For example in one movie she's a maths teacher who has to prove herself to her male colleagues who doubt she is actually good at mathematics. And she ends up not only being successful at teaching the high-school graduates but even getting to lecture mathematics at university afterwards. (Our Miss Doctor) Or in A Hopeless Case she plays a young woman who is very superficial and spoilt at first but then decides against marrying the good situated man her father wants her to marry and instead is dedicated to successfully study medicine although everyone advises her to stop. She's really a great actress who I always enjoyed seeing in movies ever since I was a child. (Also she always appeared to have thick curly hair which was a great representation for little curly haired me because in movies you rarely see women with that hair type being considered beautiful as well.)

(Set in the continuity of the Blue Beetle movie!) Jenny crumpled the letter in her fist. Then, not satisfied with that, she threw it as hard as she could at the wall.  Crumped or not, it fell short, making the smallest skittering noise as it rolled an inch or two across the hardwood floors. They gleamed, newly mopped. 

The board thanked her for her interest, and declined to meet with her.   She wasn't a child, she had--she had shares, she had inherited everything her father had left for her, but they still treated her like a school girl who didn't know the difference between a metal fork and a metaphor. 

She could involve the lawyers. Of course, the family lawyers answered to Aunt Victoria, and Aunt Victoria was the one who'd taken everything. The stock prices had soared. Victoria had told her she should be happy, her Father's company was a success now, and she could reap the rewards.  As if a few pairs of designer boots were worth her voice. As if a new car was worth her father's wishes. 

She'd said as much, three nights ago at a dinner Victoria had hosted, ostensibly for her graduation. It was to brag, to show off, a chance to gild the lily. The food had been bland, and Jenny would have traded it all in a heartbeat for just one taste of her mother's cooking, would have given the live band Victoria had paid to play covers of pop radio for her father's off key celebration song, the one he'd made up just for her. 

Victoria hadn't slapped her, but Jenny had seen the desire to in her eyes. "Selfish," she'd said. "You want to bankrupt this company? cost thousands of people their livelihoods, destroy the city's economy, just because not everyone agrees with you? I thought college was supposed to teach you compromise."

She hadn't even had the decency to try to shame her with the classic ' what would your father say?' like Jenny had hoped, because she had had a response burning on her tongue all night for that, and she rehearsed it again in her mind. Her father would be ashamed of Victoria, not of his daughter, that she was the one destroying his legacy.In every way possible. Jenny  closed her eyes. Her father's name, his company, Victoria had won those. But she hadn't taken that last thing, yet.  Let the board think she was stupid; let her Aunt think she was spoilt.  none of that mattered, as long as she found the Scarab first, and kept it safe.

You're definitely right about Victoria living her cottagecore life in Sicily. 😂❤️ Lots of cute and light summer dresses for the Sicilian heat at knee length and longer in bright colours or floral and polka dot patterns, especially shirtwaist dresses.

Her fabrics of choice are velvet, satin, and silk. She loves matching her colours with the seasons, so we'd see Victoria wearing brighter/vibrant coloured clothing in the spring/summer especially.

If Victoria's at the courthouse, she's only in business casual consisting of pencil skirts, blouses (lace, chiffon, etc) blazer jackets and so forth if she's in the actual courtroom for trial, preliminary, etc. In her own office doing work but not prosecuting in a courtroom, we know Miss Victoria has an amazing taste in fashion and is always dressing her best. 😌 Victoria wouldn't wear gloves at work or a casual dress like a shirtwaist dress, but definitely more towards sheath dresses. You won't see her wearing patterns at work, unless she's wearing a banker stripe pencil skirt.

We're talking circle/swing dresses (a favourite), jumper dresses, sheath dresses, hand-held purses (leather, sequin, etc), wrist length satin/silk or velvet gloves (and elbow length for special occasions). Victoria's preference for nights out are cocktail dresses (especially sleeveless ones) and she loves a draped or princess neckline.

Faux mink coats and faux mink stoles draped over Victoria's shoulders, and we know she's a diamonds over pearls kind of girl so Miss Victoria's neck, arms and earlobes are dripped out. 😂 She loves to accessorize! Of course when the outfit matches, Victoria will also wear a hat, but her preference is to have a silk scarf tied through her hair or a flower for a cute pin up look.

As for her shoes of choice, Victoria loves her simple flats, Mary-Janes, but is a heels kind of girl. Kitten heels to tall heels, stilettos, pumps, all of that. She's very used to wearing heels.

I remember mentioning in the very early chapters of Moth to Flame that I believe Victoria's engagement dress (a gorgeous, black evening gown) was designed by Gucci. 😍 So yes, she's definitely high end for Italian designer and I could see her adoring and shopping for French designer items too. ❤️ She would definitely not hesitate to drop coin for a fit.

Red Shoes, could it be darkness?

It’s a pretty sad tale. I had been seen from the red shoes, but unfortunately, I don’t know the exact tail of the red shoes. Well, I have to be spoilt alert of what is happening with the dancer lady we see in the red shoes. She will be jumping over at the Train, and she will die. Her dancing career began with these red shoes because she was famously playing the red shoes, but at the time, she was falling in love. The director was emotionally threatening her about choosing either career or love, and her love and understanding were leaving her. Still, at the same time, she was also brokenhearted, and she was supposed to be prepared for the performance. Still, she was so stressed out right from her and with the director pushing so hard that she was so upset and decided to. I don’t know; it’s just like it seemed to me as if some magic or miracle was getting into those shoes, and she ran into the window and decided to jump out. It was very upsetting to see that career pressures love chosen. It seems that many dancers get this press about which one you must choose: a career or one you must choose? Love that it’s pretty tricky, complex, and challenging to decide which do we want do we want? Do we want something to get selected? We don’t know that well. I don’t understand why the woman got put under this pressure? I really don’t like this. She’s been pressured about career love. It was like boundaries between them. It reminds me a little bit of The Blonde, the story of how Marilyn Monroe was. Trying to find the boundaries between her career, relationships, love life, and independent time, she wanted to give her perspective about someone's perspective. How was she suffocated, and how did she feel? But she gave her voice correctly and explained how long she had argued with the fox.

When I checked the movies from The Red Shoes, the end part looked like a fairytale one. When the red shoes are just her shoes moving, just like in the fairytale, the clock is midnight when the horses turn back into pumpkins. It was alright, but I would like to analyse the story to see who’s gone acting, but I’m not calling myself an actor. Still, just like I did for a short period, acting is just the stress factor. I had seen how Victoria got stressed about careers or Becoming a housewife. The stress factor I mentioned is the stress factor; there was a type of stress factor when every actor or dancer feared the audience or was gangster ready. Still, the director's request is not to bring the emotional outside emotions to the stage; however, the red shoes have ruined the director. I’m not just a director, but Julian is also ruined—the mood from Victoria. Victoria was confident that I would be doing this. Everything is unbalanced, but Julian is just like let’s go. Let’s leave this stage, and the directors just come back and say, do not leave. If you leave, you will never be successful and will not be going to get taken back, so this is a kind of stress factor like emotional Stress 

Reflecting pains and sadness shared together, eyesight and feet can talk. What could it say?

And the red shoes, there is so much sacrifice Victoria has to do for Julian. It's pretty sad because we just see one side. How was a woman sacrificing? But I can't tell that Julian wants to sacrifice for Victoria. It's just like you could be anywhere. Don't search, just like you could be a musician. But as Victoria was. Seeing how she puts effort into her dance is pretty upsetting. Decided to choose Julianne instead of choosing the career I mean. Not just this fact because there are plenty of thingsit's upsetting in this movie. Well, this is what I bought with career, which is the choice. Both genders have to be making a choice of career or love career or love and not fitting together is the horrible spot, this is also not good because the curtain industry is really really losing out on the actors. The part about how you have to show that perfection, just like the black swan, represents this part about perfection, and its feeling is horrible and exhausting. And the fact is that it is just like you don't have a choice. It's just like you have to sacrifice one up. It's also like when I have to think about the royalties of their relationships. None of them could sacrifice love or status. The part is about likes. I chose the third option to say I don't want any. I want a fresh restart. So, none of them could make this choice of love, like what they want or what they don't want. If someone came to me and asked me about this kind of thing, it would be a difficult choice because it's to be fair, it's the 21st century. Why do you want to choose both of them? Why do they want to choose between them? Both of them are important, and balance and equality have to be shown, like the director's understanding of someone's choices to make and the creativity of how often way overhead could be stretched out then. Letting just one choice someone could make. Both of them. Someone could really do it. Both. Some could just choose both of them. They could get along with it, especially if they had healthy relationships, equal sharing and understanding, and were next to each other. And I had a feeling that sometimes people who have both in the recursivity industry are working but doing a different subject. It's hard to get equal work because one has to sacrifice, and the pressure is scary to see.

To be fair, the actors often have to go for madness choices. Making the best of themselves and their outside lives is questionable. What will happen to them? Or we could also reflect it out with the movie, with everything everywhere. The movie is about how Evelyn is. Travelling and experiencing plenty of choices. What could it be happening if I decided to choose my career? I would be like a Hollywood star. I would be like a star forever. But no, she decided to pick her loved one, be a mother, and work in a laundry area. It's pretty interesting, isn't it?

Dagger Mountain was a place that bustled with people almost constantly but in a quiet spot that overlooked the snowy scenery, Ethan and Victoria Ramsey found themselves all alone.

It was their first New Year’s Eve as husband and wife and they had come to the wintry spot in New Hampshire to celebrate the upcoming year.

“As much as I love that we are alone, I would’ve thought this spot would have more people in it.” Ethan laughed.

Victoria stood up from her seat on the bench and walked to Ethan’s side. “Maybe those people have found where the party is. Whereas we are having our own party here.” She wrapped her arms around his neck.

“Hrm. I suppose that makes sense.”

“Talking sense is one of my many talents. Amongst other things.” Victoria whispered the last part in his ear.

Ethan leaned in to kiss her but Victoria held back, teasing him as her lips hovered over his.

“It was a good one wasn’t it?” Victoria laughed.

“The best.” Ethan grinned.

The giant speaker down near the front started the New Year’s countdown.

“This is it. Any last thoughts on this year?” Victoria looked up at her husband.

“Just that it was the best year ever. And 2023 can only get better.” Ethan smiled.

The couple kissed just as the first firework exploded above them. They held each other close, tongues dancing amongst each other.

When they finally broke for air, there were multiple fireworks lighting up the sky above them.

“What a way to start the year.” Ethan took her hand.

“Indeed. And I have a surprise for you.” Victoria lead him back down to the main part of the complex.

“Does it involve you, me and our bed?” Ethan chuckled.

“That’s part two. This is part one.” Victoria led him into one of the buildings.

“Happy New Year you two!” Rodney handed Ethan and Victoria a glass of champagne.

“What’s all this?” Ethan turned to Victoria.

“A little surprise for my hardworking husband.” Victoria directed him to the quiet alcove by the window.

“You didn’t need to.”

“Yes I did. You deserve to be spoilt too. Rodney put the “cleaning in progress” sign outside the door. He says we can stay for as long as the fireworks keep going.” Victoria smiled.

“You’re amazing Mrs Ramsey.” Ethan smiled putting an arm around Victoria.

“I’m alright.”

“You’re more than that. Thank you.” Ethan pressed a kiss to her lips.

As the New Year rang in around them, the couple stayed wrapped in each other, celebrating the New Year in their own way.

If every New Year was as magical as this one, then Ethan and Victoria always had something to look forward to.
