-->And then I noticed the entire wind farm was broken again. *sigh* Well, nothing to do but Repairio the lot. Again. *grumbles* At least all that spell slinging got Victor another Talent point! I had him start his new potion while I chose his new Talent – and as he’s been spending a lot of time on Alchemy lately, “Potent Potables” to give his potions extra oomph when drunk seemed like a good choice. I then took a moment to check in on Smiler and get them to drink some plasma fruit and a plasma pack (the latter they insisted on drinking on the back porch couch with one of the cats – Alice ate her waffles there too, as you can see. Can’t say this family does not love their pets!), before sending them to harvest the coconuts, soy beans, and garlic from the greenhouse, and put some plasma fruit in the (reset) juice fizzer (as I was hoping using it would encourage it to stay functional – seems to be working so far!). I was just getting ready to have Smiler super-sell the rest of the greenhouse when I checked back in on Victor –
-->And found him standing over a cauldron of a worryingly black liquid with red mushroom clouds coming out of it. Three things then happened in quick succession –
I. I got a notice from the game that Victor had picked up the Curse of Repulsiveness from a failed potion, as Victor himself turned green and warty. Shit – should have gone with the “Hexproof” Talent!
II. I got a notice from the game that Victor’s potion had failed, but he HAD managed to get a Bottle of Questionable Contents from the failure.
III. I got a notice from the game that Victor had successfully completed an aspirational milestone and thus had completed his New Year’s resolution!
Yes, apparently failing his Potion of Nausea and getting a bottle of – stuff counted as brewing another potion to the game! XD Well, I happily took it, as did Victor. Once he woke up after fainting from the fumes of his vile potion. XD And the curse was no big deal, as Victor has LOADS of aspiration points, and thus was easily able to buy himself some Potion of Curse Cleansing and down it to clear the curse. (That should PROBABLY be more expensive in the rewards store, but currently not complaining.)
-->Anyway – with Victor’s curse cleansed, and Smiler having cleared out his cauldron for him while he was unconscious, I sent him to join Alice for a nap (she’d already zoomed off to bed earlier for a snooze after having her waffles and taking care of business afterward), while Smiler super-sold the greenhouse and then flew up to their party barn area to practice mixology – after all, they did have a house party to rock that afternoon! Alice woke up first – I had her go talk to Smiler’s Sixam Mosquito plant Snappy, as per her wants, then sent her downstairs and, eventually, got her to take Shadow for a jog to both make the dog happy and continue working on her Fitness. Smiler then got their Plasma Fizz and started work on some Strawberry Fizz while Victor got up, Repairioed a busted water collector, and cleaned up some dishes and such around the house –
#sims 4#the lazy save#victor van dort#alice liddell#smiler always#I love how my attitude toward the wind farm is 'oh look all the turbines have broken again'#seriously they break SO MUCH#I guess it's good for training both Victor's magic AND his Handiness depending on what I'm feeling#but sheesh cut us a break here#I do find it amusing that both Alice and Smiler insisted on snacking on the outside porch#next to the kitties#like we have a perfectly good dining table#but no couch and cats#even more amusing is that FAILING to brew a potion still counted as 'brewing a potion' to the game#probably because Victor still got a flask of SOMETHING out of it#along with a curse#but yes the Potion Of Curse Cleansing is pretty easy for him to get#do feel like it should be more expensive#like I can understand WHY it's a rewards store thing#for people desperate to clear curses#but still -- your Sim should have to have a decent stockpile of points to buy it#ah well no big deal#look at how good Smiler's gotten at balancing bottles instead#they are a master!#need to have them make drinks more often just for the fun animations#it's very them#queued

in the sims 4, one of the things children can make with the science table is an 'emotion potion'
because apparently we're all cool with letting kids play with people's emotions?

You can always find items like this, just begin typing the title and it will appear. Type “3 to 4″ to find the Tibetan Prayer Flags. Since this is a conversion of another creator’s item, I didn’t want to just slap my set name onto it, so it is titled 3 to 4 and the item name, instead.
bb.objects ON to place the wall clock vending machine. I suggest always using this command when building & decorating, it just makes it so much easier. For further placement tweaking, you will want to check out the TOOL mod.

Research Story
[ID: The banner of the game research story, drawn in anime style. It shows a person next to the game's title, looking at a yellow flower through a magnifying glass, papers in hand and a black cat with a sprout on its head on their shoulder. End ID]
You move into the cozy little village Shimmerbrook as a researcher. Unlike in other farming sims, that means you don't purchase seeds/animals, you have to pick up a plant/animal/fish part, start researching, observe, learn how to forage seeds and how to tame the creatures, then grow the plants and bond with the creatures by fulfilling their needs.
Once it likes you, every creature has a different perk, from giving you bonus seeds when foraging plants, over finding mushrooms, over automatically fertilizing soil when planting seeds, over finding treasure, over…
[ID: A screenshot of the game. The artstyle is pixel graphics, the colors are muted because it's after nightfall. The player character, with pink hair and yellow and pink clothes, walks across a meadow towards a house looking like a giant tree stump. A chicken, a rabbit, and a fox are following them. End ID ]
Different plants/creatures appear depending on weather, location, season & time of day. Some plants only grow next to water, some fish only appear in caves at night. All creatures have multiple possible traits, for example needing a buddy to be happy, and some being sheltered by a nearby tree. The more things you research, the more your rank increases, unlocking more things - like weekly fetch quests for villagers.
There's:
Research (d'uh)
Farming
Fishing
Mining
Crafting
Decorating
Festivals
Dating
Looking at it objectively, no feature is extremely deep (though I believe some will be expanded before 1.0). There's only a limited selection of decor items, no farm buildings, different requirements make large-scale farming tedious, and the fishing minigame is very simple. Dating is still getting expanded (no marriage yet), and crafting is rather limited, mostly things you need for research like different kinds of feed, bait, soil, and crafting stations. There's no cooking yet other than throwing a few basic items into a campfire to get a roasted version, and only a few equippable items as rewards.
[ID: The same player character stands in a small, square house against a black background. The house is furnished with a bed, a bedside table, a desk with a pot of pink flowers on top, a painting, a pale yellow rug, and several wooden chests. End ID]
But, at least for me, it all fits together incredibly well if you accept the research part as the main goal. There's just enough of a carrot on a stick I want to keep playing.
Shortly after release, I already put about 25 hours in and didn't even reach the first year's fall. That was before a lot of the content updates, so there's definitely enough to do for the price tag. I want to earn more money because I want to buy some furniture, and I need those recipes because and I want more sprinklers, and oh my, I forgot upgrading the scythe gives a chance of getting insects, I need insects, so I need more ore, two more days and my research is done, oh yay I reached the next mine level and can finally get sand, and why is it 2am?
Now to be fair, the gameplay loop is - as so often in those kinds of games - rather repetitive. Feed animals, water plants, forage whatever grows today, fish and mine, talk to some people, day's over. Especially feeding the creatures is tedious at the start, since some food items are rare, you have to hand-craft the food, and each pen only holds 2 servings.
But later, there's sprinklers, and feed crafting stations, and autofeeders, and also - creatures don't die. If you don't need the creature's perk, you can just ignore it (Sorry, Rock Salamander!)
[ID: A screenshot of the town in the game, showing 4 different houses to both sides of a river. Two are built out of wood, one being a tavern, the other a potion ship with a small garden in front, and two are built out of stone, one with a forge, the other with masonry tools in front. The player character stands next to the river, fishing. End ID]
As for the game world, it's incredibly cute and the artstyle is minimalist but adorable. The town itself is by far the highlight - other areas have a bit much open/empty space. Speaking of maps, the mini map is great: not only does it show you the opening hours of each store, once you befriend people to a certain level, you can also see their position on the map.
In general, this game has so many convenient features. Excellent auto-stacking and quick transfer into chests. A bell tool to send creatures back into their pens. You can adjust the length of day and amount of energy in the settings (at the moment with no achievement penalty, though there might be one in the future requiring to play with default settings). Energy itself is on the lower side, but you're supposed to use food, not hoard it like a little raccoon as I do. Oh, and - you can save anytime, anywhere. Yay!
[ID: A screenshot showing the dialogue window of the character Teagan in their potion shop decorated with purple furniture, shelves with potions, and various potted plants as well as a big cauldron. The portrait is drawn in anime style. They have pale skin, long, pale pink hair with blonde tips and are wearing purple clothes and a headband with feathers and a bird skull. They ask: What can I do for you? End ID]
The controller support (and, therefore, the steam deck support) is great. Everything works, and what little hiccups there are I expect to be gone by the time it leaves early access. Cloud save between the deck and a pc work as well. The only thing missing is the 1200x800 resolution, which is really no good reason for an "unsupported" label.
I really love this game. Sometimes I don't want to build a farming empire. Sometimes I just wanna crawl in the dirt while watching a little bunny poop so I can pick up the droppings and figure out what it eats.

if you get this, answer with three random facts about yourself and send it to the last seven blogs in your notifs (if you want to🖤)! anon or not, doesn't matter, let's get to know the person behind the blog✨
Here's one fact about me right now:
I'm back on my bullshit playing The Sims. I have been faithful to The Sims 3 for a million years (I played The Sims when it came out, and The Sims 2, but The Sims 3 was my fave), but currently I'm playing The Sims 4 for the first time. I only play the base game (I don't like to spend real money on imaginary stuff) and currently I'm playing the scenarios.
I just finished Making Money (start with §0, end up with §1,000,000). I started with three young adult women, called the scenario "Roomies Get Rich" and because I'm a pure purist, they started with literally nothing. I put them on an empty lot with no house, so all they had were their cellphones. They got jobs, harvested local plants to create a garden (by the end of the scenario they were making about §40k every other day on their gardening side hustle), and showered/used the toilets at the gym. At first their empty lot had a toilet, a single bed, and a fridge just out there on the grass. By the end, they were in a 3 bedroom house.
Ember and Chandler married each other and Tia married three times just to get people to move in--and bring their money. Tia was not well liked and it was hard to convince anyone to date her! Eventually the couple divorced because Chandler cheated (not my fault! I did not even see this going on at a party they were having!) and Tia swooped right in to marry Ember (I stayed up past midnight on a school night to build a wedding venue). Chandler met and married another woman, a young adult named Alex who somehow had a son who was also a young adult??? (moved in with only §10k but she was an astronaut making like §1100/day at her job).
By then my original three were elders. The game started warning me it was time to get their affairs in order, and they only had about §650,000. I was (pure purist!) determined that at least one of my original three had to make it to the million, so I never bothered giving any of them children and I only put up with outsider Alex because of her high-paying career--she was NOT going to be the only one alive when they hit the mil! Tia drank a youth potion that killed her instantly (hot tip, don't try to turn yr very elderly elders' clocks back this way). Her widow, Ember, died a few days later, was brought back for a day, died again, came back for like an afternoon, then died for the final time. One thing I hate about the Sims 4 is when someone dies all you hear is crying in that house for three whole days. Someone is ALWAYS crying and it becomes annoying. Chandler and Alex HATED Ember, yet still they were constantly getting into bed to Cry It Out.
Ember was my Level 10 gardener, so after she died, the cowplant didn't get fed (Chandler was afraid of it) so it died. I wanted to leave its skull there in the garden for aesthetics, but you know I sold it for §250 because it was getting down to the wire and, as ever, every simolean counted. I sold all the art on the walls, I sold the microscope and crafting table (side hustle! Before Tia died she was banging out §377 wooden bathtubs every other day) and chess table. I sold an extra bed and an end table and all the extra decorations/awards Tia had earned in her Criminal career (very low paying and I didn't realise she would not be able to just go around stealing stuff from other houses or public lots! After she retired she freelanced in computer hacking stuff). When there was only about §50,000 to go I considered selling off literally everything in the house (the rugs, the wallpaper, the sinks and toilet and certainly the TV and computer), but that didn't seem purely pure even though it would technically have worked.
I think it was selling off a crop of flowers, veg, and fruit from the garden that finally put them over the top. The only thing I didn't have by the end was potatoes! I never got seeds for them and couldn't find them in the park in Willow Creek, where I was told they grew wild. There was the cowplant for a while, the Forbidden Fruit (if they eat it they become a PlantSim for five days), trashfruit, birds of paradise, dragonfruit, pomegranates. . .even mushrooms despite my phobia about fungus. Ember even got all the magic beans and grew the Mystical Plant Portal which is a really pretty, huge, pink-sparkly weeping willow style tree--so massive it barely fit on the tiny lot (did I mention I really had to cram planters and trees onto this tiny, tiny lot where the house took up like 95% of the space???)--which I wish you could just plant when you're building; I'd put them everywhere. It was so big it clipped through the wall of the third little bedroom/office, and you can't delete or move it.
So in the end, Chandler was the only one of the original Roomies who lived to Get Rich, but she made it! She also had her cute astronaut wife and several days left to live before the Grim Reaper came for her. I quit the scenario as soon as it ended; I was ready to play something else.
(All of this, and my actual favourite part of playing The Sims is building! I'm not great at it but I love building and decorating houses and other buildings. The Sims 4 has some quirks but so far it's the best interface for building and I have built some decent houses--or, in "Flip This House!" style, I'll buy one or take one from the gallery, use that motherlode money cheat a million times, and remodel the house completely--adding upper stories to make more rooms is my specialty. My kid saw me building one of my houses and asked me to build her one, so I did that for her on her laptop while she was at school one day--the whole second floor was a "teen hangout" sort of like a mini apartment, with the bedrooms and a big common area for TV, gaming, music, and art. My kid also does not mind spending [my] real money on imaginary stuff, so she has a million Sims 4 expansion packs and kits I do not have, like horses, and cats/dogs, and holidays, and I don't know what all.)
Anyway.
I'm back to playing The Sims.

sims tag
Thanks for the tag @cantseemtohide 🤗 My queue ran out so this is a perfect time to answer some sims questions!
1. What’s your favourite sims death? Old age 💔
2. Alpha CC or Maxis Match? Maxis Match
3. Do you cheat when your sims gain weight? Not really. I have used the insta-lean potion once, that’s kind of cheating? But it made that sim way too thin!
4. Do you use move objects? I don’t do anything too crazy with it but I have it on by default with betterbuildbuy
5. Favorite mod? I don’t like to play without sim spawn overhaul or selective auto chat
6. First expansion/game/stuff pack you got? Livin’ it up 👵 I have always bought all expansions so I believe for TS4 it was Get to Work
7. Do you pronounce “live mode” like aLIVE or LIVing? aLIVE
8. Who’s your favorite sim that you’ve made? I think Poppy is my favorite. She is super cute and I’m playing autonomy off now so she is not annoying
9. Have you made a simself? I’ve tried...!
10. What sim traits do you give yourself? Vegetarian, childish and loner
11. Which is your favorite EA hair color? Cheese 🧀
12. Favorite EA hair? The short one from my first pet
13. Favorite life stage? Teen
14. Are you a builder or are you in it for the gameplay? When I get bored or annoyed with the gameplay I switch to build mode. I love to build community lots but I’m not very good at building houses
15. Are you a CC creator? No... I wish I knew how to update some broken abandoned mods but I have zero patience for failure
16. Do you have any simblr friends/a sim squad? I’m so antisocial I don’t really know anyone. I try to show my support by liking and reblogging and if I feel really social I may leave a comment haha
17. What’s your favorite game? (1, 2, 3, or 4) 2 was so special to me but as I don’t have it anymore I have to say 4
18. Do you have any sims merch? No
19. Do you have a YouTube for sims? No
20. How has your “sim style” changed throughout your years of playing? I don’t know, I guess my style changes all the time...? I get bored quite easily
21. What’s your Origin ID? emasdf
22. Who’s your favorite CC creator? @/wildlyminiaturesandwich
23. How long have you had a simblr? I had one in 2020 that I deleted. This one I’ve had a year or so
24. How do you edit your pictures? I use reshade to adjust brightness and colors and then gimp or canva to crop and add stuff
25. What expansion/game/stuff pack do you want next? More hobbies! I couldn’t care less about cars but if we ever get them I hope it will be some kind of garage pack so you could also build and upgrade cars and start a garage band and decorate a man cave with a pool table
26. What expansion/game/stuff pack is your favorite so far? I have nothing bad to say about nifty knitting 🧶
I’ll tag @crazydictator, @jasesims, @sims4-premades and @mdianasims. Feel free to ignore if you already did this or just don’t want to 🙂

Today’s pondering that doesn’t get any of my existing projects done:
I have a young Genius in one of my saves. Despite the fancy name, Genius is basically Logic aptitude. I was pondering what Logic specialties I wanted her to focus on as she grows older. I haven’t done much with the Chemistry table, so I thought I’d check that out.
Dang. It’s a charming way to level your Logic skill, but the potions are SERIOUSLY LAME. There are only two positive ones I can see -- one that temporarily raises Handiness and one that increases Energy gain from sleeping. Those are, admittedly, pretty useful, but the rest are focused around pranking other sims. Being that this is from Generations, that’s not completely unexpected. But seriously, how many different ways do we need to get people to pee themselves? And teleporting to a RANDOM location? What’s the point in that?
[ETA: Actually Ninja Vanish teleports a sim home, which is much more useful than what I first thought.]
I took a look at the code to see what it would take to add some more potions, and.... oof. I see why nobody has done this. It’s essentially all hard-coded. Also, it’s incredibly difficult to search the code at all because alchemical elixirs are also called potions. There’s a More Alchemy mod on MTS by Sims MX. I think that would probably face similar challenges, so I’m curious as to what they did.
So, I was brainstorming what potions I would LIKE to see -- some stuff that doesn’t exist in other similar systems like elixirs and herbs. Chemistry potions do not require raw materials and can be made an infinite number of times once discovered, so it seems like they should be on average less powerful than top elixirs.
A couple that occurred to me:
1. Speed potion: Actions take a shorter amount of time.
2. Skilling potion: Skill gain increases (Vampires have this at night, I think, but elixirs just have the less useful version that raises a random skill one level.)
3. Quality potion: Raise the quality of an item by one and raise bad/horrifying up to Normal.
4. Chemical fertilizer: Outstanding quality fertilizer that can be poured on a plant. Possibly revives dead plants.
Any other thoughts? Keeping in mind that I’m not going to do anything seriously with this until Pet Diseases and Warrior Cats mods are out.

12 Grimmauld Place, but in the Sims 4
Okay so in a 3ish hour rush, I've built the closest approximation to 12 Grimmauld Place that I could possibly build given the constraints of the game in the Sims 4.
Images and details for download below the cut.
exterior: built on largest lot in Glimmerbrook. ignore all the space to the side. i may someday build the attached buildings but that day is not today. the roof was kind of a bitch to build, but i wanted to include an attic since this build is inspired by a fic i am currently writing that includes many an attic scene.
grand room: include magical floo. split level for higher ceilings. pretend those portrait screams a bunch at you.
dining room: nothing worth noting except that i'd have made the table 3x as long if i could.
kitchen: pretty boring bc i hate building kitchens.
master bedroom:
sirius' bedroom: includes henry puffer poster lmao
regulus room: lol space art and peacocks gee i wonder who sleeps in this room in the fanfic im currently writing
library (angle 1): check it out, quills on the desk
library (angle 2): hey look a tree painting that you could reasonably pretend is the black family tree, wow i really thought of everything
basement potion brewing room:
third floor landing: more interesting than the other hallways i've chosen not to picture
attic: i really enjoy the attic i built. it feels very atticy if i do say so myself.
assorted bedrooms:
not pictured: bathrooms (standard victorian style, all in black) and hallways because... i mean they're kind of boring.
packs required: realm of magic (most important), cottage living, eco lifestyle, growing together, city living, discover university, island living, get famous, seasons, cats & dogs, get together, jungle adventure, parenthood, dine out, outdoor retreat, laundry day, vintage glamour, desert luxe kit, and... of course... sims 4 base game.
EA ID mairzymalfoy to download from the gallery.

Récompenses de la Faucheuse: Semaine 4
🎵 Forgotten - REPULSIVE

The Sims 4 - Avatar Legacy Challenge
Water. Earth. Fire. Air.
Did you either smile in nostalgia or roll your eyes at the cliche of using the show’s intro? Are you looking for a legacy challenge that helps you explore different aspects of gameplay, all the while making fun callbacks to The Last Airbender series? Well, hotman, you’re in the right place!
This Avatar Legacy Challenge is a 4-13 generational challenge with themes surrounding characters, events, and locations from the Avatarverse, with enough wiggle room to make it fit your unique gameplay style.
Basic Rules
The purpose of this challenge is to complete the Avatar cycle by playing with 4 generations of the same family, but you may play up to 12 generations + 1 bonus gen with the current outline!
Each heir should represent their element or location by color scheme/style. You can base this on the show or your personal likes/dislikes.
You can live in any Sims world unless otherwise specified in the rules of a generation.
You can have as many children as you’d like unless otherwise specified in the rules of a generation.
Every generation is required to complete both the career and aspiration of the heir unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Every generation is required to max out at least 4 skills to represent the 4 elements in the cycle.
If you decide to play this challenge, I’d love to see! Use the tag #avatarlegacy in your posts to share!
This challenge was partially inspired by the super fun Not So Berry Challenge! I wanted to play a similar challenge after seeing others play, but I knew my ADHD would leave me bored after 2 days of unintentionally recreating a popular streamer’s gameplay of the challenge. I wanted my own adventure and way to explore the game. Hopefully you can enjoy it, too!
I spent a lot of time developing this challenge and will actually be sharing episodic gameplay once a week on my YouTube channel starting 4/30/22!!
https://www.youtube.com/c/KimbaSprite
(Also, I'm looking for some extra Sims to add to this gameplay, so if you want to help out and get a shout out in a video(I'm a small channel but want to engage more with others!!), please use the tag "#KimbaSpriteSims" in the Sims gallery. 🖤)

Who can create a potion before the science table explodes?! Brain vs. brawn… why choose? You are a mad genius with aspirations to be the strongest person on earth! Or, at least stronger than your sibling.

🤍💜💙Generation 5: Water - Foggy Swamp
People always tell you that you’re not what they expect. You love your animals like members of your family, even to the annoyance of said family. You’re the child of a world renowned conservationist, and all you want to do is live off the land. Like…. really off the land. If it can be found in a dumpster, why bother paying full price? You may be a slob, but at least you’re not wasteful.
Traits: Freegan, Slob, Animal Enthusiast Aspiration: Angling Ace Career: Gardener - Botanist Branch

🤎💛💚 Generation 6: Earth - Ba Sing Se
If you had to choose a nice word, you would describe your childhood home as “Eclectic.” A second-hand mid-century modern, bohemian rustic farmhouse nightmare may be a better descriptor. Other kids may spend their weekly allowance on candy or games, but you have bigger aspirations. As a Cheerful Sim with Big Dreams™, Networking is your middle name and you make it a point to befriend anyone you come across.

Lights! Camera! Action! Growing up, your parent always encouraged you to follow your dreams… as long as they were lucrative, anyway. And what pays the bills more than being famous? Actor by day, playwright by night, there’s never a moment where you’re not hustling. The critics love to hate you, but who cares if you’re the best actor in the world if you can’t spark joy in others?

🧡💙💛 Generation 8: Air - Western
Let go your earthly tether. Enter the void. Empty, and become wind. You’ll achieve your goals, even if you make yourself the enemy. Die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become a villain. Spurred by your parent’s vanity, you seek acceptance among the other kinds of stars and outcasts. There’s a lot of injustice in the world.
Traits: Neat, Ambitious, Gloomy Aspiration: Soulmate Career: Astronaut - Space Smuggler

Achieve a Bad Reputation
Marry a Sim in the Criminal Career
Master the Space Smuggler brand of the Astronaut Career and complete the Soulmate aspiration.

(Required Expansions/Packs: Get Together,Get to Work, Vampires, Jungle Adventure, City Living, Discover University)
---
💜💙🤍 Generation 9: Water - Northern Water Tribe
You grew up in a hectic household. Your parents were very open minded and encouraged chaos as freedom. You form a special interest in Vampires and the occult at an early age. It’s possible you might be a little obsessed, but what’s the harm? As a Young Adult, you become a Doctor in order to better connect with people. And if it makes you feel a little powerful, well… There's nothing wrong with that.

And when they are home, you make it a point *not* to be, lest they try to get you and your friends to read their weird Vampire tomes. You like the finer things in life but generally lack the funds to acquire them legitimately. You are the life of the party and host events at any opportunity given to you. Sometimes your chaotic nature will get you into trouble, but you are not one to back down from a fight!

You are that kid who responds to every instruction from an adult with the question “Why?” Partially because you know it annoys the heck out of the adults! You love knowing how things work and find fulfillment in making things with your own hands. You consider your home your biggest Work in Progress and continuously add rooms and extensions that would put the Winchester Mansion to shame. How to Have Better Weddings without the New Game Pack - Part 2
Part two of my essential custom content for weddings is here! I have a whole folder for weddings in my game that I add back every time I have weddings so it finally came in handy to share my favorites!
In this post, I'll be sharing the big wedding collections and build/buy items that I use for weddings.
Rustic Romance Stuff for Sims 4 by @plumbobteasociety
This set has not been updated in years but it has held up so well. I think the new game pack definitely got inspiration from a lot of the items in this fan-made stuff pack.
It has beautiful items to decorate the perfect garden party. The outfits in this game are amazing, I've used this pack multiple times in different saves. This also came with a few in-game poses that I have yet to try.
Also check out their Cottage Garden Stuff for pretty hairs with floral accents!
Happily Ever After Pack by @maxsus
This is a free stuff pack by one of my favorite CC creators! It comes in a lot of fun colors that can be used for garden and even weddings in ballrooms! There's even a cool trailer to show off the items!
youtube
Garden Stories and Garden Stories Patio by @myshunosun
Technically not a wedding specific pack but the items in this pack are perfect for a garden themed-wedding.
Smaller Packs and Functional Objects for Weddings
By @ravasheencc
Push Comes To Love Wedding Set
Holy Marchrimony Wedding Arches
ISO Love Photos – Full Control Camera - The ‘ISO Love Photo’ camera mod is BGC and gives you full control over the in-game camera viewpoint without disturbing your sims!
Photographic Memory 2.0 - The new and improved Photographic Memory 2.0 comes with over 10 new photo objects and a new photo studio hub that lets you improve existing photos and transfer images!
Shop Chef Buffet - These buffet inserts can be placed in any countertop and spawn a literal buffet or freshly prepared, multi-serving potions of food for your simmies to eat!
Upright Piano by @illogicalsims - Again not really wedding specific, but sometimes we just need a small piano for smaller venues.
Other items:
Romantic Table Setting by @aroundthesims
Wedding Arches by @dudleystrailer
Flower bouquets and wall arrangements by @melonsloth
Wedding Cakes
One of the biggest additions in the pack are the wedding cakes. We do have a lot of cakes in the game that you can use as a wedding cake. Here are some nice CC food:
Base Game Food Retexture by Utopia Sims - gives better quality to the base game food. It makes all of the in-game food look edible palatable.
Custom Food by @icemunmun and The Food Group
Rustic Floral Cake
Edible Wedding Cake by @aroundthesims and @icemunmun
Grannie's Recipes by @littlbowbub
Rustic Wedding Cake
Wedding Cake
Pink Rose Wedding Cake
Corpse Bride inspired cake
Added a part 3 because there are too many CAS collections that I wanted to share. So, the next post will be about wedding dresses, suits, and more for your wedding!
Check out the other parts of this series:
Part 1 - Gameplay mods, events, and bug fixes
Part 3 - CAS items
