So this happened over the weekend!!

I did the cover art for @setsucon ‘s 2019 convention pamphlet! This is my second year doing the cover for them and I had a lot of fun working on this piece~ I’m really happy with how it turned out!! 

Unfortunately I wasn’t able to actually attend the convention this year because I had another con to go to. ToT maybe some day i will return to Altoona.....

So it’s semi-official

I’ll hopefully will be able to attend Setsucon which happens to be in my hometown of Altoona PA. Hopefully, there will be some cosplay groups I can join!

I’ll probably will be going as Tobi if I can finish it in time. If not then I’ll still go as Tobi but he would just be unmasked, showing off the scars and maybe eyepatch. BUT I’ll still be doing the Tobi personality/persona/thing.

uhhh life update i guess

graduated college almost a year ago

did the disney college program in spring of 2018

visited japan in summer of 2018 while still working at disney

had an apartment with a friend for our last semester of college

went to two cosplay conventions (ColossalCon and SetsuCon)

worked as a day camp counselor at a local ymca (both in 2019 and 2020)

currently working at a local grocery store as a personal shopper but debating quitting due to pandemic and coworkers not following mask protocol (even though ive only been at this job for a little over a month)

still living at home, had plans to move to pennsylvania with a friend but found out they went ahead without me (really shitty and still kinda mad at them but i only have so many close friends and dont wanna lose them)

hating my body 👌 but also not?? yes?? idk

really bad at taking care of myself in terms of personal hygiene and haven’t showered in almost a week-i feel gross but also jus don’t want to get in the shower and idk why

Setsucon has announced that voice actor and ADR Director Brittany Lauda will be attending making her first convention appearance since 2019 and her first anime convention appearance in Pennsylvania at Setsucon 2022. My 2018

Can you believe that tie pods & Uganda Knuckles was only the start of 2018? Yes 2018 was a long year. Thankfully it’s over just so we all have a new year to bitch about. But let’s look back at my lack of accomplishments in my sad pathetic life. In the beginning of the year I switched offices again. Well that’s it for my work life. Good night everyone.

In the real stuff that matters to me. I saw over 60 new films, watched over 18 new anime season, put in something close to 120 hours of Persona 5 and became obsessed with that world. So obsessed that I fell behind in Mayor Duties of Sinnoh in Animal Crossing: New Leaf, and have been desperately catching up. I beat the Alolan Pokemon League again, said goodbye to Hope Peak’s Academy one last time, left the X-Men fandom for good with one police filed in the process, and made my final Wonder Con appearance. I went to 4 different Cons  (Setsucon, Wonder Con, Zenkaikon, Nekocon) in three states (PA, CA, VA). Debut a new cosplay (Subaru), modified another (Monokuma) and hung Bronypool up for good. I recorded 13 episodes of my podcast, and annoyed all 3 listeners for close to 22 hours. My biggest highlights would be;

3. Finally seeing Lindsey Stirling live

2. Steins;Gate 0 (the Anime). Every week I waited anxiously for the newest episode to drop, and every week I would have a PTSD episode. It would fuck me up, make me relive my own horror, and then draw me back with its amazing story, characters, and voice acting.

1. Seeing my favorite person in the world, and then going out for Ramen and eating it outside the American Studio that brought A Silent Voice to the states, followed by buying panda towels,  and then eating ice cream while staring at a very weird mural.

Let’s see what bullshit 2019 shall bring us this year, yes?

Panel Application Deadline Extended to December 7th

Calling all prospective panelists:  the deadline for Setsucon 2019 panel submissions has been extended by one month!  The new deadline is Friday, December 7th, 2018.

Get Ready – Setsucon Pre-Reg Opens THIS Wednesday!

We will be opening our online pre-registration on June 6th, with weekend pre-reg badges still only $25. For 2019, we have a few registration policy changes to note:

Parental Consent & Chaperone Forms are now only one form.

The new filled out Parental Consent form MUST be brought with you to the convention; we will no longer be accepting them ahead of time.

Mail-In Pre-Reg will be opening in the Fall.
