Honestly i’ve only thought about Pre-Canon and Post-Canon so far, its been a bit of a struggle to fit it all into the canon timeline and have it make sense 😭

most of the relationship aspect happens in the Pre-Canon, so I believe it wouldn’t stray *that* far from Canon (?). Only slightly changed by focusing more on OilRose and J’s betrayal towards the end of MD

but yes J still does “die” in EP1 , V is incredibly upset at uzi for that and is more hostile to her in this au :-) (shes a lot more ruthless too)

J is still essentially the same company loving, selfish drone, still hung onto what she has left of tessa. even if that means siding with cyn

..P.S. V has a whole development Post-Canon where N and Uzi teach her that she can be in a healthy relationship. They love her! Although it takes her quite a bit to accept it.

this au is also based on trauma bonding between victims, which is why V & J were as close as they were in the first place! (since N was the only drone who had his memories wiped)

Yapping about the hatter in the Batman 2

With the batman sequel coming next year and the fact that It's been an especulation that the mad hatter might appear has made me start thinking about what I would like the hatter to be like if he actually appears (which I still have hopes for 🙏).

I know this has been said thousand of times but I can't stress this enough, the only thing I want is for them to PLEASE don't make him a pedo, rapist or give him some incest storyline.

LIKE WHY WOULD U DO THAT I STILL DONT UNDERSTAND WHATS THE APPEAL ??????? IT DOESNT ADD ANYTHING TO HIS CHARACTER , IT JUST RUINS HIM

If they made me choose between a crazy serial murderer jervis with no mind control or a pedo one that actually uses the cards , I'm choosing the serial murderer without a doubt.

I know they do this just to make him darker cuz they consider him too wacky or cartoony to work in this kind of media,but it just doesn't work no matter in way you do it ,it just doesn't.

He actually can work very well in a darker theme you just need to be creative !!! He is already terrifying on its own! His mind control technology is so fascinating and at the same time is so scary to think about.

And the wackiness is a good contrast to that! That's why he's so interesting!!! he's such a fun character and it's honestly a shame he's so underused or he just gets bad writing 😕.

Ok now let's imagine it's a perfect world and we actually get him in the movie, another thing i worry about is costume design.

I know we are not getting a very colorful hatter like in the comics based on what they did with the riddler. Given this I really want them to do what the arkham games did in terms of design.

Sure he has a more dark and muted color palette but he is still wacky and he has all this personality to him !!! I really like this design a lot (I wish this jervis was better💔)

two of the members of the seventh earth council, the group that controls the spaceship and literally everything on it. it's funny they're called that, none of the members have seen earth with their own two eyes. it's been a long time since any human has walked on that planet...

levendula (she/her), dorel (he/him)

two of the techies. the tech department is where all regular folk want to end up at. there's a very slim chance anyone could get into the council, it almost functions like a royal family — but the tech department? well... okay that kind of functions like that too, the children of techies usually end up as techies, and there's little class mobility otherwise. BUT there's a bigger chance for any regular person to become a mechanic than to become a council member!

they handle maintenance work on the spaceship, on the equipment, on the robots, they write code, they design new and improved versions of any sort of tech. they enjoy much more personal freedom than regular workers.

kikinda (she/her), szoren (he/him)

two of the workers. the workers are manual labourers who handle all the work the techies haven't yet managed to automate or don't have the resources to automate. farming, mining, all that stuff. backbreaking labour. on top of that, they get paid very little, and now with the new SSRCU models already created, they're HOUNDED by the stupid bots too.

kara (they/them), hanga (she/her)

i chose hungarian names/spellings for all of them, if you wanna know exactly how they're pronounced please use a translator app because my phonetic spelling SUCKS. but i think they're all very straightforward :)

so about zaps. the tech guys call it zaps 100%. affectionately (mostly). its primary and default disciplinary action is administering shocks, and well, sometimes it goes haywire and just shocks a bunch of people at the workstation. hence the name.

the workers usually refer to it as anything derogatory. the thing, the beast, the monster, the attack dog, the painbot, the warden. officially though they address it like they would any superior, with either sir or ma'am. but they rarely have to (if theyre good <3 )

council members refer to it as the bot, or if they need to specify theyll say the serial number, 01.

zaps' full official name is self-sufficient riot control unit or SSRCU-01. it was the first of its kind and its been around the longest

(this got long, sorry. I DID say you couldnt stop me, significantly less sorry about that.)

Okay first of all, the characters are stupid thin. Yeah, its a stylized artstyle, I can get behind that, cool, Vivzie’s gimmick is that her designs are fun and bouncy and remind you of DeviantArt, good for her. But a gimmick shouldnt get in the way of quality! Not every character has to be stick-straight thin! Beelzebub is a character from Hazbin Hotel’s spinoff, Helluva Boss. One aspect of her character is that she’s extremely skinny due to her stomach being a lava pit. Except.. She doesnt looks skinnier than the other characters! Because they all look like they can fit a grand total of half their nervous systems in those scrawny torsos! AND more on Beelzebub, she lives in a hive, she’s referred to as a ‘Queen Bee’, theres a lot of bee/insect/honey/motifs about her… and she’s a wolf. A bee-wolf hybrid, sure, but functionally a wolf. The thing is, insect anthros exists, and they look good, and if you had any sense while running a show, you’d either ditch the heavy insect motifs or learn how to draw a damn anthro bee. Angel Dusts body is as thing as his arms and the other characters don’t fare much better. The buff characters have a bad case of ‘skipping leg day’ just so Vivzie can give THEM toothpick waists too. Give me Asmodeus with stomach fat or give me death. Actually, give me 75% of the characters with more body fat or give me death. I say 75% because the skinniness isnt an inherently bad thing, the whole show is stylized so its pointless talking about fat ratios. The problem is that ALL THE FUCKING CHARACTERS ARE BUILT LIKE THIS. Second of all, theyre way too overbearing. Take Husker. Cool design. Nice and simple. Digging the overalls-- oh god why does he have wings. Why does his tail look like that. I guarantee you if you take away the wings and give him a normal cat tail, his design would be good. But for some reason they keep on adding more details, more giant huge additions, more weird accessories that SCREAM “emo preteen who pathologizes their kinda strict parents”. Sir Pentious, now! Like that he’s a snake and remains legless. LIke the pinstripes. Aaand his hat has its own face. Why? It detracts from the character’s facial expressions because now you’re looking at his damn hat for the facial expression changes. At least the eyes on his hood are just tiny pupils, but his hat has a fucking mouth too! But even so, the eyes on his hood are still distracting, especially since Sir Pentious’ head is so small in comparison. Thirdly, SO MUCH GODDAMN RED HOLY SHIT. Cool it with the fucking red. Please. We get that its hell. We can tell because a character swears every other words and pulls the ‘>:D’ face every damn second. You dont need to make everything red. Please just fucking stop it. Its nothing but eyestrain and takes away from good character designs when so much of their colours are just black and different shades of red. Characters like Vox, who is mostly blue, was genuinely such a relief even though he still had some red because FINALLY something wasnt red or a light hue of red. Heres the kicker, that 50k video of Verbalase being chased by Charlie had better colour schemes than THE SHOW ITSELF. It was OKAY TO LOOK AT. The colours didnt give me a headache for once. None of the main cast’s designs work together. Husker looks like a cartoon character. Charlie looks like a “Sans’ Girlfriend” persona. Vaggie looks like a fantasy rpg character. Alastor looks like someone’s 2 edgy 4 u serial killer oc. And none of them work together. DOUBLE kicker, one character has a nose that isnt a pointy, anime girl, miniscule thing, its a hooked nose. And she’s themed after the 1920s. And she’s fat. And she likes money-- its a fucking jewish stereotype. 

You could make these designs so much better just by remedying ANY ONE of the points I made! Change the colours! Remove obstructive elements! Give them varied bodies! These designs only appeal to little kids cause theyre bright and move around a lot! But theyre functionally awful! There I said it. God.

1. What or who inspired your Durges design the most? A particular idea or vibe or perhaps another hottie or baddie?

Ok OK OK, promise me y'all won't judge me alright? At first I just wanted a super twisted durge, one who's rly struggling with the whole daddy's princess vs daddy ruined my life bit. And then I wanted some aro rep and cuz it rly fits in with his vibe of just being paranoid and scare of 'affection' atp (burned child, all that, basically I just wanted some good ol representation and I adore badass durges buuuuut, tragedy lover).

And now comes the not judging part. When it comes to his visuals... Fucking Piers from Pokemon Sword and Shield I'm so sorry have u seen the Fanart of him and him x Raihan (who's just as hrmgh)???? Or just him and his slutty waist???? So yeah anyway. The fucking goth gym leader who has absolutely stunning hair and is a very cute person actually and whom I adore. Also fucking Alucard from Castlevania cuz I'm a basic beach and that man is so fucking pretty I can not. I may have a type.

2. Are they a plot device or the driving force? Do they exist to enhance Gortash or has Gortash developed to become the accessory wife? Do they compliment or foil each other?

They're a different side on the same coin I'd say. Durge is very much the driving force as I exclusively (at least rn) write 3rd limited from his PoV or straight up his exact thoughts at that moment, but Gortash is still very much responsible for a lot of the things that happen. They're mutually to blame for what they need to endure.

They're also very non linear. Neither of them has that one click moment and they're healed or suddenly worse. It's a slow twisted road they're pushing each other down and laughing whenever the other one trips nd falls. They are horribly similar while being polar opposites.

3. Personality or looks, what came to you easier?

Personality. I did redesign his visuals a few times (blatant lie, very often) before I arrived at a design I'm happy with and honestly, rn I'm still struggling to settle on smth that works for the one time he was happy aka his childhood. Truth be told I can't quite decide if I want it to be post epilogue opposition or if I want some vague similarities. There's arguments for both and I am spending way too much time arguing with myself over semantics. But anyway, when I came up with him all I knew for sure was that he had blueish grey hair and still treasures 2 keepsakes from his old home.

The personality though rly came easy. His trauma is borrowed, as are his emotions and shit, and for the serial killer and unhinged part... I used my cat as reference. Love em both, but they can both me such a pain.

This is the moment where I mention that my cat does not know how to cat either tho. So truth be told, they're both a weird mix of a bunch of contradictory influences and as such everyone here is not quite right in their head.

schmitty - when i listened to his (scared) tmp2 voicelines i imagined him (and did like 2 doodles) as a humanoid red quip. whether or not that's because me and my friends memed said quip a lot and i began assoisating the quip with schmitty might...idk be up in the air lol.

anyways i basically made him a human verison of the red quip and my human verison for him came later

cookie masterson - i think i listened to his F U easter eggs? and then boom. cookie, made his tie a ...cookie tie bc of his name lol

REDACTED - i think i listened to the tmp1 " voice reveals "? i forgot, man it's only been two months. anyways i know i based their look soley on something said on their tumblr page, " based raised in the woods ". and i made their " not shadowy " form not too long after

to quote myself: " well hes a serial killer or something right " . oh and i believe i made his shirt purple bc that color is sometimes associated with evil! woo. as for my first take on his Totally normal man in society he did not seem like a guy that could play off being a Totally normal man in society. he had fricking pink eye and was bleeding from his mouth and looked really sickly

todd - ah the funny internet man! my first design for him ..funky hair. i know i went through like 3 hairstyles for him and whether or not i wanted to give him shorts.

the 3 things that stayed through out all the designs are: shades, fire tie/fire on the pants and green crocs. now that i think about it his clothes are weird lol..

nate - soley based on his F U easter egg. " i'm pretty (fricking) expensive. " i also wanted to use a different head shape.

from my first sketch of him, nothing has really changed except for the stripes on his tie

guy towers - oh fgod my first reference drawing of him, the colors and design are pretty much the same now except i changed his shoes a bit and give him a short ponytail

schmitty but human - ohhey i found it, i imagined in his ydkj days hes just...pretty tired. hence gray hairs! and i know the tie i very loosely based on Funny Faster Funnier or wahtever it is

dr ro (hc name: dr.rangsey) - short science girl! idk i think the phrase " lab safety is mint colored! " fits her and thats something i thought about..and her colors are based on her game

again her design did not change much i think i just made the labcoat look better

hfelicia - ohhh i remember really wanting to make a design for her . i was like I GOTTA DO THIS.. and tentacles were a requirement. and a eyeball in her hair

one sketch i have is her with eyes on her arms which i believe i did put in, in her monster form . ok i just found when i got around to linearting and coloring, i realized her outfit was too similar to the mother in her game so i changed it (and ngl i was thinking of maid outfit kinda) i looked up vintage clothes and gave her something from that, and red shoes lol

guesspionage host (hc name: abigail s) - oh!! i doodled him on paper first, my final design is pretty different my gosh

my next sketch for him then has boots and a different head shape , uhh yea, eventually i made the shoes Not fricking big and i gave him some cool glove thing with...circuits! bc to quote on my reference page " epic shocking prank ". ngl that was mostly bc of gandra dee in dt17 bc she has nanobots or whatever on her hand and its pretty cool and i thought this host would be the kind to get stuff like that

and could be used for self defense i think? shocking hurts and its like ..opposite of binjpipes' kinda. his are on the palm while hers are on the opposite of the palm (??i dont know my human terms)

dandelion - design hasnt changed much either! and i hc him to be schmitty's brother so i uhh yea made them look similar somewhat. BUT MAN THE SHOES IN HIS FIRST DESIGN............not great. i added a bit more to his suit..jumpsuit? in my latest design for him! swaggy

buzz lippman - when i first heard him there were 2 things i know were needed - a tophat and yellow glasses

my first design for him isnt different from his latest deisgn, i jsut gave him a blue tie. blue as to tie into nate bc theyre cousins and i gave nate a yellow tie os yea

dixie - aww my first sketch for her was cute, i wanted something flowy, i made her somewhat angelic! and her dress has clouds ..and the thing around his waist and her cape are supposed to represent the millions of words made up! (vaguely bc no way am i gonna write words there) oh and the cape is kinda uhh like her wings persay!

civic doodle hostress and old man - AHHA my first doodle of old man was just a stick figure bc thats how hes shown in the ride. and i gave them both stick figure forms bc why not? EHAj i wasnt sure what colors to give to them at first so i used ms paint colors, AND OLD MANS BEARD WAS MADE OUT OF POMPOMS..God haa i didnt give him a beard at first when i finalized both of their designs

gene - referenced from his ingame look in sti, thought hed be a office guy so yep! and his pants have pixels similar to todd's sleeves , bc they are kinda a duo right

helen - awhhg she looks pretty anger in her first sketch and latest design...i thought of her color being green at first and man her skin color was more sickly

I WANNA HEAR MORE ABT NINA AND JEFF IF U CAN:33

OO, this is a dynamic that I've enjoyed exploring in my AU :3. I believe that Nina's canon has changed quite a bit over the past few years and I might incorporate some of that in my AU but besides that keep in mind that certain things in Puppet Strings may not match up to their canon counterparts. Anyways, enjoy! I'll do a separate segment on each of their personalities and then do a section on their relationship with each other ;)

Nina

-Nina is quite a controversial figure in the Mansion. Although her manic personality is toned down a lot now that she's getting professional help and has moved on from Jeff quite a bit, saying that she's over him is an understatement.

-I have my own backstory for Nina, but to shorten it down (I may make a master post of this someday), Nina grew up in a home with no stable parental figure in a very toxic environment so because of this has a lot of attachment issues. She doesn't really see Jeff as a human; she sees him as a symbol of her own freedom.

-She's close to a lot of girls in the Mansion and proclaims herself as a 'Girls Girl'. She may be a lot of things, but she is NOT a pick-me. She'll never let down her friends for validation (except from Jeff). She doesn't have a 'best friend' in particular, but she's very good friends with all the girls in the Mansion.

-She's the one girl that somehow knows everyone's business. You're in a secret relationship? Nina knows. You're actually a half demon? Nina knows. You have a tragic past that nobody knows about? NINA FUCKING KNOWS.

-Adding on to this, she has a talent for reading people. She can tell just who you are, the things you like, your strengths and your weaknesses just from a simple interaction. She's not a naturally manipulative person but if she wanted to be she definitely could be.

-She's a fanfiction writer! She's a rather popular one at that and she's definitely good at getting you in your feels. She definitely will write the most HEART-WRENCHING, GUT-DESTROYING angst that you'll ever read in your life and you'll never know that she's actually a giggling bipolar serial killer.

-Because of the fact that she's permanently a young teenager (around 13-14), she's definitely into a lot of things and has a long history with every fandom in the history of the internet. She's had interests from all throughout the years. From MHA to Danganronpa to Supernatural to One Direction to KPop, she's been in every phase! There's not one fandom that you're in that Nina hasn't been in. She can tell you all about FNAF shipping wars in vivid detail like she's a war veteran.

-She and Ben share secrets about people in the Mansion and own a black-mailing business where they'll give you the embarrassing secrets of your enemy for a price, ranging from $2 to $200 depending on how high-profile the person is and how juicy you want the secret to be. They've actually made a huge profit, since they also swear that to keep everything anonymous.

Fun Fact! Slenderman actually won a Political Debate in Hell once due to paying Nina and Ben $150 to tell them all of Zalgo's secret plans. (Him and Zalgo don't really hate each other though)

-She's got a great sense of fashion, and has a strong relationship with Trenderman and has held a bunch of make-shift fashion shows in the Mansion. She actually designed both Jane and Mary's wedding dresses!

-Although she loves being people's hype-man, she's deeply insecure about herself, her obsessive tendencies and the fact that Jeff will never love her no matter what she tries. She believes that nobody cares if she's upset so she always smiles no matter what. (Bit of an emo headcanon)

-She LOVES LOVES LOVES to throw parties. She'll throw one for every occasion, from Weddings to Smile Dog's birthday.

-When she first came to the Mansion, a lot of people disliked her immensely and didn't want to talk to her, seeing her as Jeff's creepy stalker who was let in out of pity. This actually regressed her mental progress a lot and for a while was an angry mess who'd snap at anyone who even looked at her funny.

EJ helped bring her out of her shell and now people at the Mansion like her a lot better, and she's made a lot of friends. Because of this Nina and EJ have a strong bond. She may or may not have a crush on him, but due to his personal hang-ups with romance and their age difference she'll never pursue it.

-She suffers heavily from BPD and somewhat from Bipolar disorder. Her mood swings are CRAZY, and usually Jane and EJ are the few people that can calm her down when she's in a rage.

-Due to both her and Toby's issues with emotional regulation they get into fights a lot. When one of the two does something that pisses of the other the screaming matches can get intense. In fact Masky and Hoodie have even had to tranquilize the both of them.

-When it comes to killing, she'll do it on occasion. She is definitely the kind of kid who'd kill people that she got in an argument with on the internet, but she hasn't done it in a while.

Fun fact!: Nina once got into a fight with someone on a Danganronpa RP server, found them in real life and killed them. She was never caught but she did feel guilty about it afterwards.

-She's really into anime, specifically old 2000s anime and her favourite anime is actually Clannad.

-She has a lot of obsessive tendencies and also somewhat suffers form OCD. She has the compulsive need to overclean everything until its shiny and sparkly and frequently re-arranges her room, it never looks the same for more than a week.

-She's a cosplayer, and a damn good one at that! She's good with makeup so she hides her mouth incarcerations quite well, and because of this she actually goes to Anime Conventions a lot. She's cosplayed basically every semi-popular character you can think of.

-She's actually quite a recognised figure in the True Crime Community, and the name 'Nina the Killer' came from the True Crime fans who became obsessed with her and her story. She actually has a rabid fanbase of fangirls and fanboys, and she's very aware of this and loves every bit of it.

-In my AU Chris (I believe that was his name) is still alive, although Nina doesn't know. Chris is still actively trying to find his sister to this day, and Nina is none the wiser and still mourns his death every year. In my AU at some point in the future Chris sees Nina again and they have a bittersweet reunion.

-She's the one who found Zero and brought her into the mansion, the reason for this headcanon? For some reason my dumbass thought they were the same person when I was really little.

-She has a whole week dedicated to her birthday (Which I believe is either October 29th or November 29th) where she gives all of her favourite people a present on each day of the week. Just a strange little tidbit about her.

-She's a member of the Mansion's Literature Club! She likes to believe that she's the Sayori of the group.

-She's really scared of Smile Dog and dogs in general even though she gives him a lot of treats and celebrates his birthday even more than Jeff does. She's not a cat person either. SHE'S A LIZARD PERSON!!!

-Her room is basically like a time portal back to the early 2010s. Her room is absolutely decked out with Scene stuff and she unironically listens to Bring Me Back to Life (is that what the song was called?). She's just a kid forever and she wouldn't have it any other way.

-She has a fear of growing up. She loves the fact that she won't age in the Forest and uses it to her advantage, giving herself the childhood that she never had.

-She's a terrible singer just like Toby and sings so incredibly tone-deaf that people think she's doing it on purpose. She'll loudly sing 'WAKE ME UP! WAKE ME UP INSIDE!' In the shower the point where Slender had to modify it to make her bathroom soundproof.

-She genuinely uses Poser as an insult.

-She's way more aware than people think she is. She knows way more about the Forest and the secrets hidden in it than she would have you know and is good at pretending to be innocent. She's gotten away with a lot of stuff over the years because everyone was like 'Nina's just Nina'.

-Her favourite show is Gravity Falls, her favourite character is Mabel of course ;)

-I have a lot more on her! They're all pretty angsty though since she's my favourite angsty pre-teen, second only to Benny boy himself

Jeff the Killer

-Oh Jeffrey, where do I start? You bumbling little lunatic, you.

-Well for starters most people in the Mansion either fucking adore him or fucking hate him. Toby is his biggest hater and Ben is his closest friend.

-In this AU, he's an incredibly famous serial killer out in the real world. He's been caught a few times but Slenderman always bails him out. However his fangirls sometimes break him out, and once they even rallied outside of a police station to get him released.

-He has so many fangirls that it's crazy. He actually hates it and wants them to leave him alone, but at the same time he relies on the idea of them for his own validation. This is a recurring character trait for him and will be mentioned in more detail in the section talking about his relationship with Nina.

-He's been in the Mansion the longest, since around May of 2008. Because of this he knows every part of the Mansion despite its size and can actually list every Pasta who lives in the Mansion in completely accurate order of when they first moved in.

-He hates Masky and Hoodie, he finds them weird as hell and doesn't go anywhere near them if he can help it. But every once in a while he teams up with them for events, but he always ends up abandoning them afterwards.

-Ben is his best friend, even though he won't admit it. He and Ben are the two very first residents of the Mansion besides Slender and are undoubtedly the closest, since they've been with each other since Day 1. They've been though so much together that you can't call them anything other than best friends.

-He's only ever told Ben that he loved him (as a friend) once, when he believed that he was going to move on to the afterlife. Once it turned out that it was all just a prank that went wrong, Jeff kicked his ass so hard that Ben couldn't float around properly for DAYS but he couldn't say that he was lying. Nobody's ever seen such raw emotion in his voice.

-He's very close to Slender too, and sometimes in his sleep accidentally calls him dad, which is something most Pastas won't really have the confidence to say to him. Although he adamantly states that he sees Slenderman as a loser and an old fart, he actually thinks he's cool. He won't ever say it to his face (get the joke there?).

Okay now that's enough good headcanons for him.

-He has prosthetic eyelids. Yep you heard that right PROSTHETIC EYELIDS. When he initially burned them off he regretted his decision since a lot of dust flew into his eyes and his eyes got infected a lot, causing them to become severely irritable and tear up a lot. Slender got tired of Jeff's eye problems and made Dr Smiley make him fake ones.

-Okay one more silly headcanon. He has an arsenal of knives and his favourite one is named Sir StabsALot.

-Since I kinda have my own version of the Jeff backstory that involves some psychopathic levels of bullying, Jeff is so incredibly sensitive to any kind of bullying that he won't hesitate to stab someone if he thinks they're trying to make fun of him. He also craves validation and wants to be called cool.

-When it comes to Liu and Jane, he does regret what he did and he truly appreciates the two of them for how they helped him, but he also hates them with a burning passion for the ways they didn't help him and left him to suffer.

-The first time he and Liu met they got into a fight which left the both of them with permanent injuries. The same thing happened with Jane, and Jeff has permanent injuries on both his head and his stomach because of Liu trying to swing an axe onto his head, and Jane stabbing him through the stomach.

-His former self was a massive nerd. He took every type of AP class (I think that's what they're called I don't know how American schools work) and was the smartest kid in his year. Nobody in the Mansion is aware of this besides Liu and Jane (also Slender and Ben) and frequently underestimate his intelligence.

-He can play the piano incredibly well, although he hasn't touched one in a very long time. Sometimes he plays in the dead of night when he's having a panic attack. He was a former young concert pianist, and there are actually recordings of his performances on Youtube (in my AU).

-Lots of his old stuff goes on Dark Web auctions for millions of dollars. Slender secretly buys it all back for him.

-He suffers from ungodly levels of Night Terrors. It's a normal occurrence to wake up at 2am to Jeff screaming bloody murder. He sleep walks too and sometimes wakes up to dead bodies in his bedroom that he swears up and down that he knows nothing about.

-He suffers from visual and auditory hallucinations and has attempted to murder a Mannequin because he swore it was making fun of him.

-He gets sick a lot, mainly infections from his mouth gashes. He's even had to be genuinely isolated in his room because he got some strange disease from god-knows-where.

-Sometimes him and Liu have little moments where they act like brothers again but they smoothen up their act once they realise what they're doing. They both swear that they’ll never be brothers again no matter what, but who knows what the future has in store right?

-He's attempted cannibalism many times with EJ but he just hates the taste of human flesh so much that it even turned him off from regular meat for a while. He can't even stomach a liver.

-When it comes to murder, he's quick but incredibly brutal with it. He'll often pin his victim down when they're trying to sleep and stab them to death while muffling their screams.

-He claims to hate anime and find it weird and fetishy, but truth be told he actually watches it sometimes with Ben.

-Has a secret interest in literature. Like he's got his own secret library filled with books like Pride and Prejudice and Anna Karenina. He can quote them from memory and has done so unintentionally, but swears that he just heard Slender say them.

-Don't tell anyone, but he actually knows about Nina's fanfiction accounts and has deadass cried over a bunch of them. He actually made a Wattpad account to follow her. Ben found this out and laughed so hard that he electrocuted himself (that's something Ben can do).

-The dude is edgy and doesn't want to admit it. He listens to Skillet Nightcore but claims that that type of music is cringe. He actually hides a lot of aspects about himself because he wants to appear cool, just a habit he picked up from his previous life.

Nina and Jeff's "Relationship"

-Ah, now this is where the fun starts. Not really all that fun, but this section was fun to write and it was fun to think up of this stuff in class instead of doing the work. Why do algebra when you can maladaptively daydream (is that a real term?) about two fictional serial killers' paradoxically toxic relationship.

Tbh this is a more serious take because that's just how I see them.

Now let's get one idea out of the way;

They both hate each other, but co-depend on each other as they represent something the other deeply desires.

In my Nina backstory, Nina became so unhealthily obsessed with Jeff because he represented something she dearly wanted; freedom from her life, anarchy. Growing up with extremely strict and narcissistic parents, freedom was the one thing she wanted desperately but felt that she couldn't have. Seeing and hearing Jeff's story through True Crime internet circles made her believe that there could be way out of her situation.

Of course, this is not healthy at all. Jeff is a serial killer who hates her guts and wants her dead, and would have most likely killed her had he ever met her before she became Nina the Killer. However, due to her obsessive tendencies beforehand, she became incredibly obsessed with him and would dream about him, write stories about the two of them dating and getting married, and would 'write letters' to him asking him to take her away so they can live happily ever after together.

Nina is aware of the fact that Jeff will never the person she wanted him to be; in a way she's ashamed of herself for even idolising him like that in the first place. But she still desperately reaches for his validation, because he represents anarchy, rebellion. Something she wanted for 13 painful years. She wants to be anything more than an annoying nuisance to him, and swings between periods where she moves on from him and periods where she's so obsessed with him that she breaks down wanting him to like her. He's who she wants to be and who she wants to destroy.

Jeff hates Nina. He hates her and if she died right in front of him, he wouldn't care. She makes him feel uncomfortable, but at the same time co-depends on her adoration for him. He's always trying to do things that he knows Nina likes so she can like him more. He doesn't like her, he likes what she'll provide for him; validation. Suffering through dehumanising levels of bullying for 4 years destroyed his self image and he craves Nina's praise.

Every time Nina's in one of those phases where she hates him and wants nothing to do with him, he'll purposefully try and act more like the way she sees him to get him back.

Jeff hates Nina, but he can't stand the idea of losing the only person who thinks he's cool.

I firmly believe that maybe one day Nina and Jeff will recover from their mental issues and maybe start to treat each other like equals. But in the mean time, they co-depend on each other in an unhealthy and paradoxical way. It only hurts the both of them, but they can't stop.

Jeff will also never date Nina because she's eternally 13 and he's eternally 17 (yeah I aged Jeff up a bit since in his original story he's about 14 and I didn't really like that).

Murder Drones Encore AU Megapost

this au, as it is labeled, is one of my multiple extension aus for series, this one for Murder Drones specifically, where I kinda just experiment with the concept and try to create things as close to canon possibility as i can, kind of a challenge

the main focus of this au is just additional factions with no plot really in mind yet

THE PIT

An underground stronghold in a vast open desert. A former lab and military base.

Founded by Rhionna and Kreig after their son died.

Lead in an organized but barely governed group.

A group of Worker Drones able to fight back with weapons of different variety, sometimes1

Only order in common sense laws, dangerous events or procedures, housing, and units. Everything else is common sense and free for all.

3 Murder Drones assigned to their regiment {Serial Designations U, C, Z} eventually were unable to kill any more and slowly ran out of oil.

C overheated, U and Z used this to stay alive longer.

Rhionna makes a neck bracelet to control them, renaming them to Raptor U and Z.

Raptor U is the leader nicknamed Rex. Z is a member.

Both have been modified, U especially.

U is larger, has 2 tails, metal horns on the side of his face, blades on his arms and 2 extra wing parts like Q for stabilization. U also has an upgraded cannon. The control device on U is nearly perfect due to how dangerous he is and he's specifically designed to overload if it's broken or removed when he attacks.

Z has a heavier tail for more acid. She has extremely high agility in flight and run speed. This over runs her heavy tail as it's usually curled into her back to reduce weight location to make it easier to fly. Z lost canons for pincers with nanite acid as well as a set of sharper claws. Z is regular size.

U sees Z as a little sister and Z sees U as an older brother.

They are stuck in Violent mode. U could break free from it but it requires the band to be damaged and something to cause U to be extremely passionate (Like Z in danger).

There are 3 floors; Halberd, Metro, Leisure.

Halberd holds the office as well as storage. It also has the main workshop.

Metro is the largest and the main area with dorms, workshops, practice areas, shop streets, etc. Gaming centers for entertainment is the newest installment. 

Also holds the Arena, the #1 source of entertainment.

Leisure holds prisons and cages. It also holds Raptor training rooms.

They now rescue other drones left in the open or in other civilizations, though their rivals are Vigilance.

OLYMPYTES

Before the Murder Drones designated to their area {S, M, T} arrived, survivor Worker Drones warned the native Worker Drones about them.

They decided to scale the mountain to eventually reach a tower.

With enough change the tower became a small Stronghold.

Survivors eventually left to warn others.

When SMT arrived, they weren't able to reach the WD because even at night it was too hot in the area.

Eventually T would order S and M to sacrifice themselves and they did.

One night it was cold enough for T to reach the bunker.

When she reached there, the residents thought she was some kind of counter to MDs.

T played along and was idolized as a Protector, requesting sacrifices occasionally. 

The "healthy" relationship continues to this day.

The WD leader is the proxy of T, Dilan.

Dilan is one of the few aware of T's manipulation of that she's a MD. He plans to find a way to seize power by making it seem T set him as the new defender and getting rid of her.

The others are in a revolutionary group called "Red Lights". They know T is a MD and doesn't want any rule under her.

VIGILANCE

Vigilance are a group of Worker Drones formed to defend against The Hive.

Some of these Worker Drones were from completely different places entirely, being reccomended there by members to seek refugee in.

The place is run by Varren, a drone working in the stronghold nearby along with his adopted daughter, Princess.

The group eventually made weapons growing into a full blown resistance akin to The Pit.

Enemies of The Pit for their different views on humans as well (negative).

Often open to alliances to match the growth of the Pod Union.

THE HIVE

The Hive is located in the Gorge alongside Vigilance and rings in Murder Drones from different pods to destroy all Worker Drones and rival large fighting coalitions of Worker Drones.

It runs in a hierarchy based on efficiency and popularity, less favored MDs are often bullied, labeled Low Ranks, while more favored ones are very respected, labeled High Ranks. Ones in between generally have no particular treatment unless they slowly lean in a direction.

Members are split into different territories, the large individual groups ran by the highest ranking MDs, most often leaders of former pods.

Once every full moon all the groups meet in the center of Copper 9 in order to discuss further actions and report progress or gain instructions from their #1 host, the Solver itself. Only high rank leaders tend to have part in these discussions as the rest only can listen.

Due to their affiliation with the Solver, Solver Drones are also accepted once they've grown their mutation (Wings, tail, etc.). They're always given into the hands of high ranks as the goal is to train them to eventually become a Murder Drone after metamorphizing in the center's chamber. These are called Fledgelings and their skills are ranked based off of the amount and use of their mutations, called Hunting, the strength and control of their Solver, labeled simply Solver, and the ability to use both in tandem called Unity. Once a fledgeling masters all 3 categories, they're sent to the chamber to be changed, automatically being a high rank MD by default.
