Seniesa Estrada takes UD over Yokasta Valle.
97-93 across the board from the judges. Thought it was a closer than that but I missed the first like 3 rounds of the fight. Commentary was trash though.
Estrada's speed and power vs the straight shots, volume, and persistence of Valle. Fun fight! Both women made good accounts of themselves. When Estrada decided to move around and force Valle to chase, she was opening her up to big counters. Just wish she would use that lead jab (at all) because it would hide her hook off the lead hand. Valle had success when she could get inside without giving up the outside angle. The thing that I think really harmed her was her footwork. Lots of the big shots that Estrada landed were Valle getting caught chasing Estrada out the pocket, never resetting her feet and getting caught square or just not facing her. But when she turned up the volume, she was having big success as Estrada really only has one layer of defense. She hurt Estrada badly in that final round. Stunned her on a long combo as Estrada just did not move out the way.

Seniesa Estrada vs. Yokasta Valle: Undisputed Showdown in Glendale
EAST LOS ANGELES, Calif. (March 13, 2024) —Seniesa “Super Bad” Estrada understands the stakes as she approaches the biggest fight of her career. The WBC/WBA/Ring Magazine minimumweight world champion is one victory away from becoming the undisputed champion, one of the few accolades she has yet to achieve during a decorated 13-year professional career.
Estrada (25-0, 9 KOs), from East Los Angeles, will face longtime rival Yokasta Valle (30-2, 9 KOs), the reigning IBF and WBO champion, on Friday, March 29 at Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona. The undisputed showdown and clash of pound-for-pound queens will serve as the co-feature to the 12-round junior lightweight main event between former two-weight world champion Oscar Valdez and one-time world title challenger Liam Wilson.
Valdez-Wilson & Estrada-Valle headline a stacked card streaming live and exclusively in the U.S. on ESPN+. Promoted by Top Rank, in association with No Limit Boxing, tickets are on sale now via Ticketmaster.com.
Estrada and Valle have engaged in verbal back-and-forth on social media over the years, which carried over to last month's announcement press conference in Las Vegas. Valle's trainer, Gloria Alvarado, trained Estrada as an amateur. Valle's current promoter, Golden Boy Promotions, guided Estrada for several years. Despite a shared history, the rivalry is anything but friendly.
Following a recent training session, this is what Estrada had to say:
“Becoming an undisputed champion is something I’ve been chasing and wanting for a very long time. I can’t wait for March 29.”
“You can’t let any of the emotions or anger from the past get to you. I’ve been in fights before where I was able to experience that. In my fight with Marlen Esparza, there was a huge rivalry between us. It all came down to who was going to stay mentally focused and stick to the game plan with all the tension leading up to the fight. This fight means even more because it’s for undisputed.”
“{During the kickoff press conference}, I was there for business. I wasn’t there to be friendly. This is the biggest fight of both of our careers. In all her interviews and Tweets, she always said I was ducking and afraid to fight her. But during the faceoff, I didn’t hear her say any of that, so that wasn’t expected.”
“I know I want this more than she does. I know she’s going to go in there and put up the fight of her life. And she wants it badly, too, but I want it more. I’ve been doing this since I was 8 years old.”
“Undisputed is in my head all day, from when I wake up in the morning until I go to bed. All day long, whether I’m driving or at the gym, undisputed is on my mind 24/7. That’s the way it has to be. You have to live, think, and breathe undisputed until my hands are raised and those belts are around me on March 29.”

Finally, unification at minimumweight!
The two best in the world at 105lbs are set to face off - undefeated Seniesa Estrada (25-0) vs Yokasta Valle (30-2). One of the best fights you can make in women’s boxing at the moment.

Yokasta Valle vs Evelin Nazarena Bermudez
Costa Rican Yokasta Valle (29-2) is thoroughly establishing herself not just as a champion, but one of the best fighters in women's boxing at the moment. She is the IBF and WBO champion and is running through former world champions as she collects and defends titles. As we all wait to see if a unification bout between Valle and fellow minimumweight champion Seniesa Estrada is in the cards, we will have to be content watching them fight from the same pool of contenders.
Valle will face off with former champion Anabel Ortiz (33-5) this Saturday (Nov. 4) on a Golden Boy card in Costa Rica.

Seniesa Estrada vs Tina Rupprecht - 3/25/2023
Seniesa Estrada (24-0) is still on a mission to unify all the titles at minimumweight. She's got the WBC and WBA world titles currently, after beating former champ Tina Rupprecht. All that is left is the unification fight with Yokasta Valle.
But first, Estrada will face off with former champion, Leonela Paola Yudica (19-1) of Argentina. The two will square off this Friday (July 28) for a Top Rank Fight Night on ESPN+.

Tina Rupprecht vs Rocio Gaspar - 12-10-2022
Seniesa Estrada is the star of the lower weights here in America and has had some hype pumped into a future clash with fellow minimumweigfht champ, Yokasta Valle (who recently signed with Golden Boy). But there is already a minimumweight champion who has beaten Valle, Tina Rupprecht (12-0-1).
The German boxer is the current WBO champion and is set to face off in a unification bout with Seniesa Estrada (23-0) this Saturday (March 25) on the undercard for Jose Carlos Ramirez vs Richard Commey.

Seniesa Estrada takes a 97-93(x3) decision over Leonela Yudica.
I definitely don’t agree with those cards but it was a really fun fight. I like Yudica. If she had a bit more pop on her shots, she’s probably have taken the cards. She fought a really good fight. Did great punching with Estrada on the inside. Early, she did a good job of keeping her punches short and inside the hooks of Estrada. By the end though, Estrada did a better job of putting Yudica in position to get hit by those hooks.
Looks like we may get Estrada vs Yokasta Valle despite the promotional wall.

Didn’t realize how loaded March is.
Rise El Dorado on the 16th with Shiro vs Toki Tamaru! Plus all the K-1 vs Rise fights like Kan Nakamura vs Yuki Yoza and Akihiro Kaneko vs Masahiko Suzuki.
We got the big K-1 World Max card featuring the first round of the 70 KG tournament: Ouyang Feng, Davit Kiria, Thananchai, Hiromitsu Wajima, Stoyan Koprivlenski, and more. And you got Liu Ce vs Sina Kirimian for the Cruiserweight title, Antonina Prifti vs SAHO for the flyweight title. Another batch of K-1 vs Rise fights: Taito Gunji vs Keisuke Monguchi, Miyuu Sugawara vs Koyuzki Miyazaki, Yuki Egawa vs Houma Hitachu, and Shoki Kaneda vs Daiki Toita. Plus you got Masashu Kumura, Koya Urabe, Leona Pettas, Panchan Rina, Remi Parra, and Hirotaka Asahisa on the card. Just loaded.
Over in boxing you got Tim Tszyu vs Keith Thurman, Seniesa Estrada vs Yokasta Valle, Oscar Valdez vs Liam Wilson, and William Zepeda vs Maxi Hughes. Not as loaded but some solid fights in there.
Point being good month.
Finally feels like 2024 is kicking into gear after the early year slow down. Lots of great fights happening this week.
PFL Europe 1 on Thursday with Cedric Doumbe vs Baki and a Lazy King fight. Joshua-Ngannou with Zhang-Parker, Madrimov-Kurbanov, and Rey Vargas fight on Friday. ONE’s all women’s card on Friday featuring Petjeeja vs Janet Todd, Chihiro Sawada’s ONE debut, Allycia Rodrigues vs Cristina Morales, Martine Michieletto vs Jackie Buntan, and Yau Pui Yu fighting. You got UFC 299 this Saturday which is what from top to bottom (cept maybe the main event but whatevs). Poirier vs BSD, JDM vs Burns, Yan vs Sadong, Kevin Holland vs MVP, and some really good prelim bouts. And you also have the Glory Heavyweight Grand Prix on Saturday. YMMV for heavyweights but this is a good tournament on paper and I’m a sucker for one night tourneys. Plus it will feature a Tyjani Beztati title defense against Enriko Kehl.
Just a fantastic week of fights. Excited.

Yokasta Valle vs Thi Thu Nhi Nguren - Skip to: 3:07:30 for fight
Costa Rican boxer Yokasta Valle (26-2) has had a damn good year. On top of being signed by a major promotion in Golden Boy, she has gone 3-0 in the ring and unified her IBF minimumweight title with the WBO title in her most recent outing. From the looks of it, her goal is unification which would mean taking fights against American Seniesa Estrada (WBA champ) and a rematch with German Tina Rupprecht (11-0-1).
But to get to those fights, she has to defend her two titles this Saturday (Nov. 26) against one of her toughest opponents to date - 26 year old Argentinian Evelin Nazarena Bermudez (17-0-1). The two will fight on the undercard of the Jose Zepeda vs Regis Prograis PPV on FITE TV.
