Vacation
Dele and you were constantly working with hardly any days off at all which meant the Au Pair, Isabel, was helping you take care of the twins, Iris and Jade, and Bradley. Dele had training every day preparing for the Champions League, the Europa Cup, FA Cup, the Carabao Cup, and the Premier League. You were in a constant rush with my clothing line. You had launched your line, Posh, and now were getting ready for the launch of your store. You couldn’t be thankful enough of Dele’s constant support
~Launch Party~
I didn’t think I would have to go through stress like back in the uni, when I had to study for exams and remember to turn my assignments so the professor wouldn’t dock points. But oh gosh who would’ve thought being a perfectionist could be a curse at times? I’m trying to help the soon to be manager set up the decorations around the store, and telling the caterers where to put the food. When I turn around, I see that Y/F/N and Jade had taken food from the catering tray and were eating it, then the next thing I see is Dele holding Bradley on his hip while they play with the decorations, and then I see Iris had kicked off her shoes then started running around, with Isabel chasing her with her shoes, while the caterers were walking around with hot pans. I’m not going to lie I had an anxiety and panick attack at the same time while the scene before my eyes played out. I was scared that something would happen to Isabel since she was chasing my crazy child, but most importantly I was scared that someone would step on Iris or even worse she’d get burnt. I was even more stressed just thinking that Bradley and Dele could pop a balloon, so I went up to them and tried to get Dele to find something to play other than the decorations well he told me to relax because everything would be fine, everything needs to be perfect no matter how many times I have thrown a launch party. The launch party needed to be perfect because not only were my friends and family coming but so were some big names like Victoria Beckham, she was one of my inspirations to launch my clothing line. The girls from Little Mix and a couple of more big names were coming.
The party went very smoothly despite the panick and anxiety attack I had four hours before, everyone enjoyed the party and the designs I had. Victoria even offered to help me if I were ever stuck and couldn’t come up with anything for a design. I was over the moon, i was expecting my store launch to be as much of a success as it was! So many people were excited to see how successful the company would be, I’m excited to see what the future has in store for Posh.
~Present~
Today was May 31, which meant the Premier League season was over and you had not much to do but to work normal hours and be a mom. Dele and you were thinking of planning a vacation for the five of you and giving the Au Pair some time off. Dele kept begging to go to Monte Carlo, after watching the movie with Selena Gomez in it, because ‘supposedly’ the views are gorgeous. You ended up choosing to go Greece for five days and then Italy for the last five day
You guys leave for Greece tomorrow and the Au Pair left to go home, Paris, as her vacation. Dele and you started packing your luggage, then the next the you know is Jade comes running into the room very upset on the verge on tears “sweetie what’s the matter? Did Iris or Brad upset you?” “No, why did Isa leave? Why didn’t she come with us?” Dele was kind of surprised when she said that, because you thought the kids weren’t that close with Isabel. “Sweetie Isa wanted to go home and visit her family, and we wanted some time as a family!” Dele said with a calm voice trying to not pick a fight with a 5 year old. “But daddy, Isa is part of the family” this time she actually started crying. “Jade maybe next time, right now you need to go get dressed, we’re not going to miss the flight because you decided to throw a fit. Baby, you’re the one who has been wanting to spend time as a family!” Dele said a little more frustrated. All three kids feared their dad when he started getting frustrated, they would do whatever he asked them to do just so that he wouldn’t be mad at them. While they didn’t think twice about disobeying your directions
~Greece~
The five days in Santorini were amazing, soaking time under the sun. The villa you were staying in had the most beautiful view of the ocean. It had a pool where Iris, Jade and Bradley could play in, along with loungers where you could tan in. Of course, you would go sight see and walk around the city exploring. You though you had chose the best city for Instagram worthy pictures, with the beautiful blue and white architecture, the ocean in the distance and the cobblestone streets. Iris, Jade, and Bradley literally only ate seafood the entire time instead of lamb, for some reason they fell in love with seafood. On the third day you hopped on a boat and island hopped to Skopelos, because you being the Mamma Mia fan had to visit the island where the two movies were filmed. It was the best part of the trip to Greece, in your opinion, the water was gorgeous of course.
~Italy~
Y/N POV
We spent five days in the Almafi Coast. The only thing I knew about the Almafi Coast was that the water there was as gorgeous as it was in Greece and the Fiat Commercial was filmed there. I was super excited for the next five days! I got Iris, Jade and I matching swimsuits for some pictures. I was a quarter Italian so visiting the country of my ancestors was what made me want to come, I had never visited Italy in general. Dele was excited about the vacation in general, it didn’t matter where we’d end up going, he just wanted to get out of the UK for a couple of days. If we were to leave for a month he’d be happy, he was just exhausted from the intense season.
Dele’s POV
Visiting the Almafi Coast was always on my bucket list. Visiting with my family is the best feeling ever, especially with my three little rascals. I would go anywhere with Y/N because let’s face it how did I get so lucky to have someone like Y/N as my wife, as my forever partner, or as the mother of my children. I consider myself the luckiest man in the world to have such wonderful kids and the sexiest wife in the world. I always thought visiting the Almafi Coast would complete my life, since it’s been a dream since I was little, but nope I was wrong. Marrying Y/N and then having the twins and Bradley was what my life needed to be complete.
The five days in Italy were the best! Y/N, Iris, and Jade had matching swimsuits. Since Brad and I ‘felt’ left out, my little man and I also had to get matching swim trunks because it would only be fair. The hotel we stayed in, Le Sirenuse, had the best views I wouldn’t want to trade it for the world.
In the end I am really happy that we had our little family get away, we bonded even more as a family. Even better we didn’t have paps constantly surrounding us and constantly interrogating us, since that didn’t happen our getaway didn’t have any bad luck nor did it get ruined.

All of the best 2018 Met Gala looks
The Met Gala has long been known as fashion’s biggest night. But this year, it’s fashion’s most controversial as well.
On Monday evening, all of Hollywood’s biggest stars and fashion influencers took to the carpeted red stairs of New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art to celebrate the Costume Institute’s latest exhibit. This year, Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination explores the intersection of the sartorial and sacred. In the exhibit curated by Andrew Bolton, pieces from the Vatican and design houses such as Dolce & Gabbana, Versace, and more will be on display. However, on the red carpet, a variety of celebs are wearing their own interpretation on the religious theme.
Amal Clooney, Rihanna, and Donatella Versace are 2018’s co-hosts of the event alongside Anna Wintour. Other A-list attendees include Kylie Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Cardi B, and Ashley Graham.
Follow us on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter for nonstop inspiration delivered fresh to your feed, every day.

Amethyst
w. Rielin
“The amethyst only shimmers its constellation under the light of the full moon.”
"Don't ever look into the princess's eyes, ya hear me?" A man― possibly in his mid thirties with a brown colored fedora, and with a cigar burning, he whispers to his son. "Why dad?" The son asked out of curiosity, his eyes glistening with wonders. The man stares back at his son, a gentle smile forming beneath his mustache, "Because," The son tilts his head as his father's speech drifts off. Then he continues,
"You will be cursed."
Sickened, unloved, ill-starred. Everyone revolts the petite female dressed in intricate floral design, made specifically for the princess, Aisha. Her amethyst colored eyes are fearful, as it is gloomy and darkened without hint of an expression. The princess is cursed, many say. But she is not. In fact, she is incredibly healthy and well-mannered. Yet not one have seen her eyes sparkle under the light of the full moon, how beautiful it shines, how beautiful she is. Because all fears her for what they call― the curse. All avoids her gaze, even the king and the queen.
"A party, at my castle! All is welcomed!" the king shouts with joy, inviting the royalties all over the continent. The dancehall is decorated with intricate designs, shining radiantly with the chandelier that hangs above. The scent of perfume and cologne fusing together diffuses into the air. The murmurs of conversation echoes from one pillar to another. The sound of heels and tap shoes clicking on the marble floors rings throughout. The noise of two wine cups clanging one another as the wine swirls within reflects into the ears of the princess. Every single sound, every single vision, it is all too sensitive, for the princess without self-esteem.
The princess steps into the dancehall with a heavy heart. Unwelcomed, yet invited because of her royal blood. The murmurs gradually die down as the royalties turn to face her, giving her a revolting, disgusted look. She hides her amethyst orbs under her eyelids, fearing those glares that look down upon her. What have she done to be hated? She did not ask for such witch hunting just because of her eyes, they have no proof that she is cursed. Not one has been affected by staring directly at her. Yet why do you say, she is cursed?
Eluding her eyes and her being, she quietly walks along the walls and reaches the corner of the hall, avoiding contact with others. Soon enough, the sound of crowd's murmur increases as their concentration drifted away from the princess. With a sigh of relief, she walks over to the terrace of the dance hall, where she can be showered by the moonlight. The darkened, gloomy amethyst orbs slowly illuminates as it reflects the light of the moon. Starry flowers blooms within her iris, like a constellation. If only the humanity could see how breathtaking her eyes are, if only they realize that this is not a curse, but a cure. If only at least one person realizes that, then that's enough for her.
She turns around while resting her palms on the fenced grills designed in white. The moon casts a shadow of her figure and the darkness clouds her amethyst orbs once again, the stars fading into the void.
"What?" she whispers inaudibly, shaken by surprise. Even though her eyes aren't casted by the moonlight, her eyes shine, ever so radiantly. Like a star sparking its last light across the starry sky. Her gaze is fixed on another pair of amethyst eyes, that is also illuminating its light. As if the world surrounding them is a mere blur, their focus is only on each other. It's the prince of her life, the prince with the same eyes.
She remains still, unable to move. However, he is the one who took the courage as he approaches the vulnerable female. Within seconds, he stands in front of her, gazing into the eyes filled with the constellation. As if the violet quartz is embedded into her eyes, it sparkles. He lets out a warm smile like the rays of the sun. It's as if all of her undesirable past has been washed away. She lets out a smile as well. The two does not speak, as if they are already matched with their heart. They do not need to hear words, they do not need to hear thoughts. They already know. The two entangles their fingers together and dance the night away, under the light of the full moon.
From afar, she hears the wolves howling. From the sudden sound of wild creatures, he turns his gaze away from her and glances toward the northern mountains, where the wolves reside. She tilts her head in confusion, yet he cannot tell her. He mustn't tell her. With the howls, he disappears into the thin air within blink of an eye. The princess glances about, for she was is perplexed by his sudden disappearance. She collapses into the cold, marble floor. A jewel of tear creates in the corner of the amethyst orbs, running down her cheeks.
Where did you go, my prince?
Who are you, my princess?
Why does she have those amethyst eyes? Is she the same like me? He wonders, his amethyst eyes darkened with clouded thoughts. The sensation of soft fur touches his bare arm, as he is surrounded by pack of wild wolves. They whine, they bark, yet his mind is cluttered with the sight of her, her beautiful amethyst eyes.
But most importantly, why did she not fear me like everyone else? He too, was told since young that he was cursed by the witch as his darkened eyes were fearing many. Shocked and scared of their own son, his parents abandoned the vulnerable child into the woods, only to be adopted by pack of wolves. However, his eyes were not the curse, instead, it was a cure― a sign to find the princess.
A witch approached the male when he was a teen, asking whether he wants to be loved. The confused male denied, as he is satisfied living in the woods surrounded by wild creatures. Yet he is a human. He would soon die, if he continued to live in such conditions. The witch placed a curse under him, making him into a werewolf. He has a body of a human, but with wolf-like ears and tail, he has the instincts of a wolf. However, he will change into a human in under one condition: the full moon. During the night of the full moon, he will turn into a royalty-like human, dressed neatly with his hair brushed back while wearing a suit. He must enter the grand dance hall and find a female that shares the same amethyst eyes, and must have her fall in love with him. That is his life-long mission. She will be the cure of his damned curse. If fails, when the sun reappears into the sky, he will turn back into a werewolf again and will be forced to live in such condition for the rest of his life.
A night after a night, the princess starts to lose hope in finding the prince of her life. She remembers his exact appearance; the silver hair that's neatly brushed back, the black suit befitting his composed-self, and his amethyst eyes that held constellation within.
"A party tonight at the grand hall!" the maids yell throughout the hallway. The princess perks up, quickly dashing over to her window. The full moon. Her heart starts to beat, a smile starts to form across her lips. She will see him again. For sure, she will realizer her feelings this time and fall in love with him tonight.
"I shall wait for you, my prince," she whispers, gently closing her eyes.
The night is bright. The moon and the stars shimmering its rays upon the earth. Upon the northern mountain, the sound of leaves rustling and heavy footsteps pounding on the grass echoes throughout the forest. With swift movements like a wolf, he reaches the the princess's castle. Under the moonlight, his ears and tails disappear, his sharp canine teeths transitions into human-like form. He changes into a royalty.
BGM 〈 Selena Gomez and Marshmello - Wolves 〉
Where are you, my princess? He searches, passing a person after another. They give him a fearful look, as they find another human being with the same cursed eyes. However, their glances does not bother him. His mind is clouded with her, the princess of his life. The witch said he must have her fall in love with him. Yet that did not matter, for he has already fallen in love with her.
He comes to a halt. His gaze is fixed on a lonely girl in the corner of the dancehall. She cautiously looks here and there, fearing of matching her eyes with another, yet trying to find the amethyst eyes shining within the crowd. No one dares to touch the cursed girl. But he will. He walks closer, closing the gap in between the two with a step after another. They may say they are cursed, but they cure each other. The gash made from the past, the wounds created by sharp glances, he will cure each and every scar. If only, she loves him back. That is his only wish.
The amethyst orbs shine under the chandelier, not needing the moonlight to show its true colors. The crowd surrounds the two, gazing in awe. It was a such blinding sight, of the true beauty their eyes held. They finally realize, that their unusual, darkened colored eyes are not a curse, but only a cure. The one person she wished for, helped her gain trust and love from all others.
The two entangles their fingers and gently sways with their feet in sync, dancing the night away. Starry lights soar from the male, as his curse is lifted. He is no longer a damned werewolf, but a human, a prince. Not one realized, that he has a royal blood running through his vein. He is indeed, the prince that is fated to meet the princess.
"I've been running through the jungle, I've been crying with the wolves to get to you,"
Amethyst ― fin.
note:
inspired by the bgm, i recommend listening to it while reading! just start listening to it when it's stated so in the story. c:
i kind of timed the words match the lyrics, so when it says the last phrase, hopefully it also says the same phrase in the song. /i mean it all depends on speed of your reading, but as a medium-speed reader i am, it perfectly matched in sync!
for clarification! Add is an actual prince! his parents, the king and the queen, abandoned him into the forest even though its their own son. i make the parents so cruel in my stories but yeah lmao.
sorry that all of my stories kind of tend to be add x whoever! /totally not my male bias of elsword characters
but honestly this is kind of my favorite one-shot out of all the ones i've written ayy

2018 Met Gala Fashion Critique
Met Gala 2018
I always think of the annual Met Gala as a fantastical no-limits costume party that celebrates bold fashion. It is the one night of the year that society is expected to embrace avant-garde fashion and make a statement. This year the theme was “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination” - which coincides with the Costume Institute’s latest exhibition. The Vatican even gave their seal of approval on the theme this year - which could have showcased anything from Medieval robes to stigmata-stained gowns to angelic creations. Jean Paul Gauthier has been inspired by graphic religious images for decades. Givenchy & Dior have reinvented nun-like garbs for both men and women. Galliano had a Cardinal, Nun, and priest in his 2000 show. Versace drew inspiration from Byzantine churches and has had crosses prominent in almost every collection. The theme is extremely broad and should be easy to embrace. So I beg your forgiveness as I go on a few rants at some celebs who completely missed the point of the evening. Luckily, the true fashionistas shined bright and slayed the red carpet.
Up to Heaven:
Katy Perry in Versace
I love that Katy Perry takes risks and this event is right up her alley. She took ‘angelic’ to a new level. I look at this outfit and it just makes me smile - she radiates from top to bottom. Although her look might be a bit literal, I don’t care. I love it. Her blond pixie cut adds to the gilded look. Perfection.

Rihanna in Maison Marginal Artisanal
If you’re co-hosting a themed event, you need to hit the mark. And Rihanna certainly set the tone for the evening. Move over Pope Francis - Pope RiRi is here to lead mass (and the masses). Awesome look.
Cardi B in Moschino
Cardi B is a relative newcomer to the fashion scene and she is known for going “big” and tonight she fit in perfectly. The dramatic beading and jeweling of her dress matched with the headpiece was spot on. I also love the matching gloves. Well done.
Solange Knowles in Iris van Herpen
Oh this look was so interesting. I love the make-up and halo headpiece (although the halo might have been more fitting for her Halo-singer sister). The dress is crazy and makes me think of Ursula the Sea-Witch from the Little Mermaid. And everyone is talking about the netted bottle of ‘Florida Water’ that she was carrying - it’s technically a perfume but it's been used in voodoo and Wiccan religious ceremonies for centuries. So it was fitting for the evening. Overall, I think this was a highly polished look that had a lot of thought behind it. A+
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});
Jennifer Lopez in Balmain
Jenny from the Block almost hit the chopping block. This dress is beautiful but too simple. No thought or concept when into this. “Oh look, a pretty dress with a cross on it! I’ll take it!” So she almost hit the purgatory pile but she just looks so damn good in it, she had to make the heavenly list.
Zendaya in Versace
I just can’t get enough of her and this look makes me love her more and more and more. Zendaya is channeling her inner Joan of Arc in this chainmail dress and short hair cut. Whoever thought of this approach is genius and she looks fierce.
Ariana Grande in Vera Wang
It doesn’t get much more heavenly than Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel. Another creative way to bring fashion and religion together in a tasteful way. I’m very pleasantly surprised by Ariana, Vera Wang, and the whole look.
Purgatory:
Kim Kardashian in Versace
I’m not a Kim fan however, she looks beautiful in this golden Versace dress. This is what she should wear to a movie premiere or fundraiser, not the Met Gala. Yes…there is an almost invisible cross on it. Not enough. Sorry Kim.
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});
Madonna in Jean Paul Gauthier
I adore Madonna but we’ve seen this look on her too much before. She should have surprised us with something we haven’t seen from her - like if she had come in a floral patterned mini habit. That would have surprised me and been fitting. But the whole gothic queen thing - I’m certain she just pulled this out from her closet. And the thick skirt seems to swallow her tiny frame. But at least the thought was there and I do like the nude cross on the chest.
Selena Gomez in Coach
Selena looks so lovely. The dress (or nighty) is beautiful. And I see the ethereal goddess look she was going for, but she just fell a bit short. Maybe she needed a halo or gladiator sandals or something…it just felt incomplete.
Gigi Hadid in Versace
I think this is the best that Gigi has ever looked. This may also be my favourite dress of the night. But again…why to this event? Wouldn’t this make an incredible Oscars dress if she was presenting/attending? I love the construction of it as well as the pattern to it. It has a soft Asian feel to it which confuses me further with the theme.
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});
Sarah Jessica Parker & Andy Cohen in Dolce & Gabbana
Both of them are usually very sharp dressers but this just seems overdone. The dress seems to swallow SJP and the headpiece doesn’t do her any favours. Andy isn’t a big guy and the oversized sleeves makes him look like he still shops at Gap Kids.
Straight to the Fiery Depths:
Amal Clooney in Richard Quinn
Amal was also a co-host who clearly should have used Rihanna’s stylist. What is with pant/dress/wannabe? I don’t know any event that this would impress me. And are the roses suppose to tie into the Catholic imagery? Mmm…the only thing more disappointing is that her husband was the most boring dressed person there. Boo George. Booooooooo.
Frances McDormand in Valentino
I love Frances. I love Valentino. I love the imagination. I don’t know what the heck it’s doing at a Catholic themed event. Are the birds meant to be heavenly bodies? Frances failed.
Kylie Jenner in Alexander Wang
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});
It’s like she went and pulled something trampy out of her sister closet and thought it would work. I also hate the glasses and the massive zipper detail. ALL WRONG.
Nicki Minaj in Oscar de la Renta
This seems like an odd pairing since de la Renta is usually such a classic look and Nicki usually goes very modern. However, the dress is lovely and I really do like the tulle train/shrug. But as a cohesive look: no. As a successful look for this event: no.
Jaden Smith in Louis Vuitton
Ugh. The first thing I notice is that he brought his certified gold album with him. How douchey can you get? The outfit is a mess (even if he was going to pick up milk at 7-11) so I’m not surprised he looks out of place.

Who Is That Girl I See? It's Christina Aguilera Wearing Her Dreamy "Reflection" Gown
Christina Aguilera's gorgeous voice is guaranteed to take our breath away, but when she wears a dreamy gown, we're doubly speechless. The singer dropped a music video for her new rendition of "Reflection" from Disney's live-action Mulan on Aug. 28, and we could not take our eyes off of her Iris Van Herpen outfit.
Christina's flowing gown looked stunning mirrored across the ground as she sang the familiar Disney tune. It's so nice, you need to see it twice! The Physalia dress comes from Iris Van Herpen's Sensory Seas collection and popped up in January 2020 for Paris Fashion Week. See the ensemble in all its glory in the full music video above, and then see the dress on the runway in the photos below.
