The duo that always is together no matter what, the lively highschool girls "Ayarei" combi made up of two close friends, uses their bus pass to get to and back from school! In this issue, we're bringing you a photoshoot & interview with an overwhelming & youthful feeling of friendship!

Q: The two of you are known as the close-friends duo 'Ayarei' but, when exactly did you get close?

Seimiya: I think it was around the time of the [4th generation's] '3nin no Principal' stageplay (April 2019). During those days, we were learning our lines together. By that year's National Summer Tour, we were always around each other. Either way, I don't think there was one specific significant event [to make us get closer].

Tsutsui: It feels like we became friends effortlessly~

Seimiya: Our friendship is effortless still- (laughs)

Q: Do the two of you often hang out?

Tsutsui: Yes, we're together almost all the time.

Seimiya: By now, [we're together] every day! I know what Aya-chan is doing, and even what she's eating.

Q: When you say 'I know what she's eating', what do you mean?

Seimiya: We tell one another all about what we're having for a meal. From dishes to sweets, we'll be taking photos and sending them to each other.

Q: Is that meant to prevent overeating?

Seimiya: In the beginning, that was the goal, but nowadays it's just become force of habit. (laughs)

Tsutsui: Hehehe. I send her photos every day!

Q: Well then, please tell us what 'Ayarei' has been up to these days.

Tsutsui: Recently, we appeared in two different stageplays in just about the same time frame (June-July). While walking together, we talked about the troubles we had been facing there. Had I been alone in this, I probably wouldn't have been able to overcome [these hurdles], but since Rei-chan was doing her best, I think I was able to give it my all, too.

Seimiya: Yeah. On the other hand, since she had to be on stage for her stageplay, there was one time when Aya-chan couldn't attend the recording of a [group] programme. Maybe it's because every day I would spend so much time by Aya-chan's side, but. Up until then, I had always thought 'I can rely on myself [only], Aya-chan [merely] is next to me', but it was only then that I realized just how much I depend on her. I thought of myself as the lone wolf type, but it seems like that's not the case at all.

Tsutsui: Eh, is that so? I'm glad...!

Seimiya: What am I to do? Can't bear being apart [from you], can I?

Tsutsui: Mhm, I can't bear being apart either.

Seimiya & Tsutsui: (looking at each other and smiling) I'm in trouble~!!!!!

Q: (laughs) Well then, what do you think is great or admirable about the other?

Seimiya: I admire Aya-chan's ability to naturally do her very best [without having to hesitate]. Quite often, I can't get started on my practice until I set my mind to it, [having to hype myself up, like] 'Okay, let's do this!', and at times I end up just putting it off. Aya-chan is always able to give it her best shot, so I think that's great.

Tsutsui: Rei-chan is very kind, and she'll never turn anything down. I've never seen her - not even once - disagree with something when talking to the 4th generation members, and seeing her always up for [anything], I thought that was amazing.

Seimiya: It's not that I'm always agreeable, it's just that I get swayed easily. (laughs) I'm happy to hear it regardless!

Q: By the way, out of the two of you, Seimiya-san is one year older, so would you say that your relationship is reminiscent of that between an elder sister and her younger sister?

Seimiya: That's right. I try to act like an elder sister in front of Aya-chan.

Tsutsui: Eh? If anything, Rei-chan seems like the younger one out of us.

Seimiya: Eh~? Instead, here I was thinking 'Maybe I've been acting like too much of an elder sister lately...'

Tsutsui: [Elder sister?] Where? You're always wandering around aimlessly and you're not calm in the slightest. (laughs)

Seimiya: (laughs loudly)

Q: How's the 4th generation's atmosphere been like lately? Some things must have changed from the early days.

Tsutsui: It feels like everybody's independent. We'll get together to work on getting the dance and choreography right and so on but, since I'm now able to do certain things on my own - to some extent - I feel like my perception has changed, too.

Seimiya: Certainly. On that note, recently - and all of a sudden - Yakubo (Mio) sent us an old photo with everyone in the 4th generation, accompanied by the message 'I love you!'

Tsutsui: Indeed she did~

Seimiya: When seeing that, I found myself thinking that I really love everyone as well, so I replied with 'LOVE'!

Q: So, what are the goals for each one of you, from here on out?

Tsutsui: I feel lonely seeing our seniors graduate one after another, and I have all sorts of worries, but...

Seimiya: It for sure makes me anxious too. But I also get that in this situation, there's no use in complaining, so that's exactly why I want to aim high! I think that the higher the goal, the better, so I want to do my best to make it happen.

Tsutsui: Yeah, that's true. As my own person, I've had many worries these days about appearing in a stageplay, but it actually ended up being lots of fun, so from now on, I'd like to try acting again.

Seimiya: I recently got the opportunity to appear in Otona Keikaku-san's play, too. Because we've had discussions centered around stageplays, I got the chance to talk to Ikuta (Erika)-san more often as of late, to the point where I now think 'I want to become someone like Ikuta-san too!'

Q: As 'Ayarei', what is something you would like to do in the future?

Seimiya: I want to go sightseeing! I've never really gone sightseeing in Osaka or Kyoto, so I'd like us to do it together. We've also talked about creating a photobook for just the two of us.

Tsutsui: To tell you the truth, these days I've been addicted to taking photos with my disposable camera in my private life.

Seimiya: I've been thinking about going to a shop, getting the photos developed and putting them together in a book. It's a photobook meant for only us two to look at, but if its quality is good enough, I wonder, would it be okay to show it to our fans? (laughs)

Tsutsui: Hehehe. I want us to go on trips and eat delicious food, and from now on too, I want to be with you every day!

This time, I will talk about Under LIVE~

"How long has it been since the LIVE has ended, you know!", maybe some people thought of that already.......

Since it can't be helped that I'm a "My pace" type of person, so please forgive me...

For the people who came to the LIVE, people who watched it via live stream, and for all the people who involved

Let's have a bit of a chat on this blog!

For me, somehow the Under LIVE is kind of a sacred event

Although it didn't have the lavish sets and flashy stage like a full live show,

But while we were singing and dancing, Everyone became one,

Isn't that what's called plain and simple, yet the coolest Idol of all?!!!

It was the first Under LIVE for 5ki

We were given the opportunities to watch the live so many times before

But this time, we were given the chance stood on that stage,

And after we did it for many times, we can feel the "uniqueness" of Under LIVE and Nogizaka getting piled up in ourselves more than before

When we almost felt like lost out to your enthusiasm, we would pat each other's back and inspired each other to get back on the stage

Every live, before we going to perform the last song of the Live, the 2 center (Riria and Runa) will be given some time to give their speech to the audience

I always liked the way they hold their microphone at that moment

When their left hand was trembling while holding the mic and tried to suppress the trembling with their right hand, it was like they were trying to show that to us (that they were nervous as well)

I can say it confidently that, I took everything that Under LIVE had to offer without spilling a single drop of it!!

By seeing my senpai's back, I can say a lot of things that I like from them

Seimiya Rei-san

Her expression she showed by her neck and shoulder, it's like the embodiment of glamour And then when we see her dancing, she would tell us something like [The original was like this you know~] Surely, I think her connection to Nogizaka46 is much stronger than anyone else~

Reno-san

Although we weren't able to stood together on the stage that much this time, but I love watching her long and delicate limbs, nerve-racking fingertips, and loved Reno-san's dancing so much

Hayashi Runa-san

Just by standing there (on the stage), her presence is already truly unique. Her way of using her eyes was so sexy and cool, even though I tried to copy it, I just can't do that

Hazuki-san

In my opinion, the beauty of Hazuki-san's dancing lies on her shoulder. Her posture while dancing was really beautiful. That's why I think every pose of her was so eye-catching. Sometimes Hazuki-san's dancing became a popular topic among us the 5th gens

Yakubo Mio-san

She can dance precisely more than anyone else. And she was more conscious than anyone else about getting choreo right, and she was also the one who pulled us the 5th gens. Moreover, because she loves Nogizaka's songs so much, her performance was so eye-catching

Ayatii-san

She was always being so kind, "fluffy", and so close towards us the 5th gens. But on contrary with that, the gap when she performs was so amazing... she is like an all-rounder when it comes to singing and dancing...no matter how you look at it, she was always seamless

I want to be able to show that kind of performance as well, that can catch anyone's eye when they see it~

Under LIVE was really fun

I cut my hair a bit!

I wonder if it became too short though...

(There's no deep meaning behind this!)

(I really thought it was just at the right length when it was wet, but when I dried my hair, it was longer than I thought it would be. It was just looks too short)

The 32nd's single Meet & Greet will be held soon!☁️

I will be waiting for all of you~

14th February,

it was Valentine's Day, did all of you get any gifts?😮

In my case, at that day I tried to eat all of my self-made macarons.

(I have to be careful when eating sweets from now on....)

At this day, I appeared at Nogizaka46分TV with Seimiya Rei-san and Kanagawa Saya-san!

But after that...

I missed the chance to take even a single picture of that day....

In this program I was asked to choose my favorite costume! and I chose the 8th Year Birthday Live's costume!

I was having a hard time to chose between that costume and the 2021 Kouhaku's costume (The red one, not the white one that Satsuki wore)

(Come to think of it, this costume does show off the collarbone? shoulder? as well...)

The costumes of Nogizaka46 are so detailed that I get excited every time I put my sleeves on!

Please tell me your favorite costumes as well!☺︎

And today, 20th February

It is getting closer to the 11th Birthday Live!

Since we, the 5th gen are going to do our first solo live, we are feeling anxious but in order to catch up to our seniors, we are determined to do our best!

It's going to be the first Live to allow the chants!

And then, there was a Senbatsu announcement on yesterday's Nogizaka's Construction

For us the 5th gens, starting from the 32nd Single we will be separated into Senbatsu and Under

This time, I will be included in the Under!

I know the strengths of Under members because I've been watching their lives, and I know that I can improve my dancing and singing much more than before!

I feel so excited right now

Being in Senbatsu, Under, center or at the edge (of the formation)

I'm going to blow all of that stuff away,

because I want to be a person that can shine anywhere!☺︎

I'm going to remember that no matter what position you're in, you're always someone's number one!☺︎
