Kokichi held the cake dome high over his head as he entered, announcing his presence to Kaede with a gleeful, "Didn't think you'd have to bake your own cake, did you?" He set it down near her, bouncing on his heels with a grin before finally removing the lid and revealing the strawberry vanilla cake. He had even cut the tips of the strawberries on top like petals. "So, am I worthy of the Ultimate Chef Apprentice yet, birthday girl?" ( and one from the gremlin as well kfjdskfhsdajl )

"Oh, Kokichi!! Well I'm glad I didn't, because I wouldn't get this lovely surprise!" She laughs, greeting him with a beaming smile. Curiosity and excitement grow as she watches him remove the lid. The second she saw what kind of cake it was, her eyes practically started sparkling. "Ohhhh!!! Oh my god, this looks so good! I like how you even made the strawberries look like petals, that's so cute! I love it, Kokichi!!"

His playful lil question makes her laugh, nodding her head as she answers: "That's right! I hereby officially declare you the apprentice of the Great Chef Akamatsu! ...Kidding about the great part." She snickers, before adding: I hope to continue seeing the fruits of your excellent cooking skills nurture even more, young Oma: I will make sure of it!" And with a bright laugh, pulls Kokichi into a big bear hug. "Thank you for making me such a lovely cake, Kokichi! You're the best!!
