I was scrolling through Napoleonic tumblr when I found this dance scene with Ney and I knew I had to find the film it was from (I need to find who posted it again tho so I can give credit 🥲). The movie, Rzhevsky Versus Napoleon, is a Russian-Ukrainian film from 2012, and somehow it is uploaded in its full entirety on Youtube (without subtitles) and I watched the whole. Fucking. Movie. Without understanding Russian. Volodymr Zelenskyy plays Napoleon. I feel like my life has been changed forever now. It’s so bad it’s good, I’m not kidding. And that picture of clown Ney from the movie is one of the most blursed things I’ve ever seen, so of course I had to draw it.

is rzhevsky versus napoleon available with english subs anywhere? i still have trouble accepting it's real and i want to see it so badly

There is apparently this DVD on Amazon that has English subtitles. I’m not sure about anywhere online with English subtitles though.
