If the leather armor has any attribute of "%Chance to Hit" or "%Chance to Dodge",we categorize it to one of the "%chance" type.i.e.one of "%Chance to Crit","%Chance to Hit" or "%Chance to Dodge".else,go to step 2.We simply give the following rule to categorize the leather armor: Dodge & +%Chance to Hit Gear (PVE oriented). There is a list of so famous +%critical strkie chance gears: Tier 0 is Shadowcraft Armor, Tier 0.5 set is acquired through a quest series. It is said that Tier 0.5 is designed for casual people those who have no or few time to join raid group. #Rogue legacy lich upgrade#
This is definitely a game worth getting for anybody that loves platformers, hack and slash combat, or retro games in general. But, over time the upgrades and other purchases will add up, and your knights will become strong enough to slay the monstrous bosses and defeat the traitor that started it all. Sadly, Charon charges a hefty fee for the privilege of entering his castle - he'll take all of the money your knight didn't spend on things.
#Rogue legacy lich upgrade#
Their money will be passed to the next of kin, who may use it to upgrade the family manor or purchase new equipment and magical runes. 28mm sized metal figure, supplied unpainted. Gelus Legacy III-The Ranger and the Farstrider Chronicles by LadyAkiraSkywalker. Yet another might be colorblind, which will make the game display itself in grayscale.ĭeath is also permanent once a knight falls, they will be gone for good. The central character in the Frostgrave campaign book Thaw of the Lich Lord. The adventures of Assumi the rogue, starting with Assumi in The Wood. Another may suffer from dwarfism, which may prove to be a benefit as they can access hidden crawlspaces. One knight may be nearsighted, making it difficult to recognize objects at a distance. These traits are also a big part of the game they are unique qualities that give your characters personality. You can't predict what skills they will have, what magic they know and what traits they have. This sounds simple enough to be boring, but that's where the random elements come in.Įach knight is created randomly. to come in Wrath after the beta 1897 Author: Legacy-WoW Especially if youre. The basic premise is that you select a character from one of three knights, and then have them explore a magical castle in hopes of finding lots of treasure and perhaps clearing the family name. of the Lich King Which brings our total to Death Knight, Hunter, Rogue. Rogue Legacy is all about procedurally generating things, but it's clear that the developer wasn't even remotely taking it easy. Hm, found Lich (King/Queen) with Crow Storm or whatever it's called to be amazing room clearer, especially with Eidetic Memory trait, but getting the spell + that on a same offspring is really rare sadly + mana regen is always an issue as after a while, it'll simply run out meaning no more casts and Lich's physical attacks kinda do no damage, especially in the Tower and beyond. Or so the theory goes, as there are plenty of cases where procedural generation is an excuse for doing a mediocre job. After all, they don't need to spend much time developing levels when the computer does it for them. The Lich is unique in that they begin with very low HP, but increases with each life they take (increasing from 35 to a maximum of 100). So the Lich caps at about 1.5 times as much MP as the Archmage currently has max.The concept of randomly generated levels has hit a surge of popularity recently, partially because it means games are almost always new and fresh, but also because it means less work for the developer. Most I could say here is the cap is about the same as the Paladin's current Max HP Maybe i'll take off Hp giving equipment and subtract the bonuses my lich has on right now to see how he matches up, could do the same for Archmages or something as well.īut first this guy has to die, or maybe beat my last 2 + final bosses.Įdit: Ponce too strong for the crowstorm lich :( but back too numbers:ĭidn't purchase any HP+ or MP+ with my money, didn't get any stats so just dis-equipped. I may try to see what Max Hp paladins and barbarians have with out upgrading and keeping track of stat upgrades I find. So the max cap for both stats are determined by your overall stat in that, the biggest thing that stood out to me was the max hp + 5 stat increased my HP cap by 3 (maybe 2.5?). So then I just got to the HP cap again and here is my final result: I used HP Conversion again (popped up Max MP Converted. Herr Paulus Beyond the Dreams of A Rogue's Life, Blind Love. I used HP Conversion again (popped up -194 max hp, + 194 max mp): lich John Ford and His The Cure of Souls. I used HP Conversion again (popped up -99 max hp, +99 max mp): I used HP Conversion (popped up -191 max hp, +191 max mp): Storm crow is the only choice for spell.Lich King's suck. I reached the cap on Hp (which I guess answers this question but I wanted to figure out some more): Find any way to boost vampire and siphon (i use both equipment and runes).I would suggest no less than 6mana/kill. All of the other classes have very straight forward specials that define their gameplay: Paladin - Shield/Tanuki Suit, trading off MP for temporarily invincibility. Thus far, the only class that doesn't seem to make much sense to me is the Lich King. However, I've unlocked what appear to be all classes and class upgrades. Ok so I cleared out about 90% of the castle with a lich and here are some numbers: Let me preface this by saying that I haven't beaten the game yet.

Blood, flesh, grief.
Become an abomination. Become feral. Mourn with angels and devils by inheriting their legacy. Speak the language of primordial creation alongside the gods.
Have I got your attention?
5th Edition Dungeons & Dragons is meant for you, as a player, to be a hero or an explorer or some kind of fun adventurer. This is the appeal to a lot of people: hero fantasy fulfillment.
Grimdark & Dangerous is a supplement of content that lets you do the opposite. Not just be a villain, but it lets you be an absolute monster. The classes that the supplement adds let you be a wild person, a near lich, a science experiment gone wrong, a deeply cursed magic entity, or a genuine blood-mage. And the subclasses represent the darkest and most regretful way to fulfill the purpose of their respective classes; the rogue poisons and blackmails, the ranger has gone feral or drifts aimlessly through reality, the paladin mourns in blood or clings desperately to a law that even the gods have abandoned. Magic is darker, the sort of spells that are forbidden or used only as a last resort or are too powerful to be used safely. The treasures are arcane, obscured, occult. It is content with a dark story waiting to be told.
I've talked before about what my favorite builds are, but that's kind of pointless for y'all. You won't necessarily like my favorite content. I loved everything in the book (that's why I wrote it all), but I also forget about a lot of it. It's there to be discovered. It's there for you and your fellow players to build a story. I've tried to write stories in a lot of different formats, and I've realized that my ability to write a truly interesting and compelling story is… eh. Because I want to make every reader feel something, and that's not a good idea when you're writing a story. But you, you can do what I can't. You can make a story with the pieces that I make that is unique and special to you that makes you feel something. Your GM can figure out what of these pieces will mean the most for your group, what will be the most fun, what will make the stories that your group will like the best. No module I write will do that as universally as the pieces I can make and present to you individually.
This book is a tool kit. And all I can tell you beyond your control is that it is a tool kit for dark and horrible things.

First rambling of account! This will be about one of the D&D campaigns I am currently in, a Curse of Strahd game. I am just super excited about it, with the character drama and development possible! Before I go further with the rambling, let me present the cast of this campaign really quickly: we have our DM, my character, the walking Castlevania reference known as Adelhelm Van Helsing, a Hexblade Warlock, an anthropologist wizard called Cassini, an excitable but naive tiefling, our bard Eri, a young woman with mysterious origins and a peculiar way of seeing the world, the human fighter Sarrith, a gruff woman haunted by a mysterious shadow, a Kender cleric named Hope Lost, a cynical woman who only has her faith to rely on, and the dhampir rogue Deryth, a professional conman that is really hard to read. (This is my reading of the characters, so if you find another description of them it might differ).
Anyway, for this ramble I’ll talk about my boy Adelhelm. He’s a bit of a complicated guy. His family, the Van Helsing, have made a deal with the Raven Queen generations ago to become monster hunters. It’s the family business to hunt vampires, liches, fiends and demons. It’s pretty much all he knows too, and because of this he lacked friends growing up, only having his family as people he cared about. Then, one night, he comes back home to find most of his family massacred, his sister and father gone, the library containing the knowledge of hundreds of his ancestors now turned to ash. He learns with the help of his family’s employees that vampires attacked and that Strahd was likely the one behind it. He is now in Barovia, trying to put an end to Strahd and avenge his family, while also trying to find where his sister and father ended up.
So, in terms of psychology, Adelhelm feels insane pressure to carry on his family’s legacy, as he’s pretty much the only one left who can do it, while also grieving the loss of the only people he has ever cared for and feeling guilt for his absence during the massacre. In short, Adelhelm is not exactly happy, and he’s more kept alive through sheer hatred and drive than anything else. He also has a really hard time really opening up to anybody, preferring to take on his problems by himself.
Now, for recent events, the party has fought a bunch of living trees and kicked their asses, and they slept under Leomund’s tiny hut with a new person that Adelhelm doesn’t trust very much. During the night, Sarrith took Deryth’s coat from him and ended up keeping it for a while, hinting at feelings between the two, while Adelhelm got cuddled by Cassini during the night (the wholesome kind of cuddles). And he actually liked the physical contact. So he’s confused, he’s developing feelings for Cassini, though even with prodding from Eri he didn’t admit to it. He was awkward for a bit and tried to keep his distance, but eventually with convincing from the bard, he decided to apologize for staying away from Cassini, which she accepted, then he said in an indirect manner that he wouldn’t mind it happening again. You know, romance subplot stuff.
But in Adelhelm’s mind, a lot was going on. He realized through the night that despite his annoyances with her (she tends to ask a LOT of questions), he cares for her. A lot. More than a friend. And he also realized he cares about the others. And he is TERRIFIED by that prospect. Getting close to people again is a risk. A risk that what he went through with his family’s death could happen again. And he does not want that. So now Adelhelm is torn and has a choice to make. He either pushes them away and becomes alone again, to wallow in his own misery, or he tries to open up to them and make new friends and maybe find love, but takes the risk of Strahd or another undead taking these people away from him too. And he does not know what to do.
If you stayed until the end, thanks for reading my rambling! There will be more in the future, on both this campaign, the other one and stuff like video games and anime I enjoy. Until then, later!

Feats: !Mobile, !Dual Wielder, Sentinel, Durable, Sharpshooter, Alert, Skill Expert, Observant, Slasher
Escell
Archmage CR12 (but can most definitely be edited)
Lord of Shadows
Lich CR21 - minus being undead ?
______________________________________________________________
*I use Fifth Edition Character Sheet by Walter Kammerer on Android and that is the closest race to Ilephta. I didn't go with Tabaxi simply bc it was too cat like and wouldn't be able include other species/variants of Ilephta. It's a decent catch all with not too many animalistic traits. Though there is now a Harefolk race and the Minotaur race may fit Balsam and the Satyr race for Rime. It's up to your preference really!
**Warlock - Mage of Witherbloom is from Unearthed Arcana -Mages of Strixhaven
Also, the Feats are in no particular order. Just the ones I thought fit the character in some way. The ones marked with ! are just what I see as the most beneficial ones for that particular character.

"We're wide awake now, our eyes are wide open" Definition of hero
1a : a mythological or legendary figure often of divine descent endowed with great strength or ability b : an illustrious warrior c : a person admired for achievements and noble qualities d : one who shows great courage source: Meriam Webster online dictionary
The dictionary definition of a hero paints quite a fantastic picture of an ideal good character, something my players and I have put aside for the PCs, who all have flaws, goals and needs. It makes me really proud everytime someone does something incredible and in-character when we play. But I digress, it's time to introduce the main characters of our journey. In order of appearence and color coded for your benefit: 🟡 Alyssa (the paladin) 🌞 🟠 Joshiro (the monk) ⚓ 🔵 Korinn (the warlock) 🌊 🎀 Nonemi (the artificer) 🔫 🟢 Ozthen (the rogue) 🍀 🟣 Vesper (the bard) 💄 ⚫ Cassius (the warlock) 📚 🔴 Phybble (the (villain) wizard) 🍵 (Not shown) Dakreg (the fighter) 💪 I'll go into detail about their backstories and my thoughts about them in individual posts. For now, I'd like to make a synopsis of the story and a little bit of the process of how I came up with it.
"Have you heard about the Warlock King?" "Shh! Don't call him that, least you'll anger him!" "Alright, how about Shadow King?" -Whispers amoung a Waterdeep tavern crowd It all started in our starting campaing, where our local tabaxi warlock Korinn chose Larloch, the Shadow King to be her patron. This is nothing new of course, he is a popular choice for he is know as an incredibly powerful archmage in the DnD lore, his existence stretching back for centuries, having been a powerful mage in the ancient Netheril empire. Always the naive woman, Korinn made a deal with the lich, and in exchange, she would bring him magical items and offer him interesting subjects for his research. But in her chaotic nature, Korinn chose to defy his orders at the end of Lost Mines of Phandelver, this being the starting point of our next plot, and the birth of our new BBEG (Big Bad Evil Guy). Now, for anyone who has read a bit about Larloch, you'll know he's not really "evil" by canon lore, he's a lawful (but still kinda evil, he kills anyone not of interest to him without a second thought, come on) crature, one who wants to be left alone to read and experiment by his lonesome like the nerd he is, he simps for the goddess of magic Mystra (he calls her The Lady, tips fedora) and makes the ocassional ground breaking new magical item / spell of the moment. That said, the wiki gave me a juicy hook to use him as a villain:
"But he was also insane, his mind affected by his extreme age. Sometimes he could be calm and even whimsical. Other times he was crazed, snarling and launching spells at random" -Forgotten Realms Wiki
"Well now, ain't that interesting" thought the me of the past. You're telling me this stupidly powerful being, who is presumed to have planned to every single variant that could occur, Dr Strange style, is a unstable old man? Sweet. So the magical equivalent of an atomic bomb's trigger was being held by this dude, let's just make the small sliver of sanity he has left realize he is loosing himself, that time is running out and he has to secure his legacy, to go out with a boom. But Larloch is not that selfish, he knows whatever plan he comes up with will affect Faerûn as a whole, so why not try to change the continet for good? Start a new era, an age of magic. Sweet lady Mystra, as much as she likes him, would not approve of him messing with her precious Weave of course, so his first step, deal with the meddling (but oh so beautiful) goddess of magic. He would not kill her, as he is no fool, gods can not be slayed (or can they...? Let's put a pin in that as well); so he'll just trap her, sealing her powers and keeping her safe in the safest place he knows, his phylactery. One deceitful invitation later, and with the help of his ol' "pals" Szass Tam, Zulkir of Necromancy and leader of the Thay nation; and the ancient black dragon (I know, he's cannonicaly green, but as I said, this is semi-homebrewed to fit the needs of my table) Vorgansharax, better know as the The Maimed Virulence, Mystra finds herself trapped and helpless at the hand of one of the few mortals she admired. Ain't life funny.
"Wait, so you're telling me a goddess, and not just any goddess, the misstress of fucking magic got trapped and no one noticed?!" Well, not quite dear reader, the other gods of the pantheon of course noticed, particulary god of justice Torm and his fiance (again, homebrewed) goddess of beauty Sune. The latter being the first to realized the absence of her dear friend, who went and told her man something smelled fishy (or dead, considering Larloch's an undead?). Both set out to investigate, and considering not many beings in the realm could be a danger to a god, the trail let to our lich friend quite fast. Torm, being a bit of a hot-head jumped at the chance to teach justice to this creature, while Tyr, the old god of justice begged him to reconsider, to think things through before taking actions. "A mortal capable of making Mystra dissapear is not to be taken lightly my friend" he said to deaf ears.
And so, with Sune helping him, Torm met with quite the surprise. Larloch had prepared for the interferance of other gods, so he ran a little experiment, he knew gods couldn't be killed, but why was that? The church would tell you it's because the gods live on all of us, as long as we believe in them, so even if they were to be struck down, the faith of the believers would bring them back. "The hypothesis is set, it is time to test it". And test it he did. With the raw power of two ancient liches and a black dragon, they were struck down in all of their inmortal arrogance. Larloch tracked the massive magical energies to two mortals in the Material Plane. "Interesting". The gods, after the mess that the Spellplague caused in the mortal's plane, had decided to not pick "champions" to control again it seemed, but still designed "vessels" of high faith and compatibility with their characteristics to recuperate their strenght at a faster rate if something were to happen to them. "So it is true, gods cannot die as long as their faith exist in mortals... Well now, what would happen if we removed this faith? Time for a new experiment. How intriguing". And so, the Shadow King set out to do the impossible, again. I'll tell more about the backstory and start tyring to tie in the PCs in the next posts. it is quite a lot of information, so putting everything together is a bit overwhelming, but so fun. Makes me realize how much work I've put into this. I'm proud of myself, take that depression! Stay tunned, and beware of the shadows 💀 Credit of the Faerûn map goes to Johnovick on Reddit.

My big long dnd campaign is coming to a close (not until the fall but we’re wrapping our huge arc atm) and I’m very pleased because it’s turning out better than I could have hoped. So I’m gonna take a moment to be sentimental:
This was my first long term DnD campaign and I was so nervous because I was pretty ambitious with my plot. I was taking over a world from a fantastic DM and that’s a lot of pressure by itself but the fact I decided to make a spider web of a plot was an extra layer of pressure I didn’t have to add. Every plot thread tied to another, every beat was connected and the level of complexity felt doomed to fail. But I wanted to try.
I wanted to explore the concept of legacy. The topic has always fascinated me and I desperately wanted to dig into it over a campaign. But I knew that would be asking quite a bit of my players: instead of a simple run and fight campaign (which are fine BTW), I wanted them to explore history and personal responsibility which I worried was too heavy to be fun. I entered my tenure as DM terrified my fragile spiders’ web of a plot would turn out to be too complex or too flimsy to entertain, that my lore would be excessive rather than engaging, and my poor players would be stuck regretting ever letting me hold the position of DM.
My fears were wrong. There were bumps for sure, but this entire campaign has turned out wonderfully mostly due to my players seeing my concept and running with it. Our princess character grappled with the legacy of her hero parents and what that meant for expectations of herself. Our tiefling had to examine the legacy of not only his family, but of a potential future and the meaning of the name he chose. Our rogue found herself impacted by a negative legacy that she walked out of the shadows from and built her own, one she could walk away from herself if she so chooses. The cleric found his own legacy as a folk hero altering his judgement. And our late to the game, but beloved arrival, came with a legacy of a future that had yet to happen that they sought to prevent.
It was a lot of work, but anything worthwhile is. And it’s by no means over yet. But god, I am being sentimental and so I have to extend my love and affection to my players who trusted me to take them on a wild journey of legacy, lich councils, fallen angels, alternate universes, and evil bardic schools. You all helped me make this world great, and the fact you commissioned and made art, fic, cosplay and even a song blows me away every time. But your biggest and most important contribution is your willingness every Sunday to go on another adventure.
@crim-bat thank you for trusting me to take on your world and inventing a council of evil liches that would menace you all throughout this adventure. @namiofthesea your warlock with none wisdom has always been a delight and your willingness to help me behind the scenes with NPCS is a blessing. Space Jesus, I know you got rid of your Tumblr but bless you for running one shots when I was out and making both a fantastic mini campaign and a loveable healer. @feministbatman you are the wind in my sails when I’m down and this campaign would have crashed and burned if not for your confidence in me when I wasn’t willing to have it myself. And @sroloc--elbisivni having you join was the best choice I ever made, you bring depth and humor in equal spades and I’m proud to share “monk rights” with you.
Maybe the real Elistaree’s song was the story we told along the way. After all, it let us travel to a place where for three hours, where we could explore a world all our own.
-Love, Iz

The Necromancer - /tg/-tan
The Dread Pimp Lich himself, the mascot of 8chan's /tg/. Unlike some of the other board-tans, he doesn't have much of a story or a complex web of relations with other board-tans and their stories. The original /tg/-tan was simply a gangly, scruffy nerd without much else going for him. /tg/ didn't get raided very often or engage in much drama like /v/ and /b/ did. On several occasions, it drove away any mods that cared to try and "fix" /tg/, but that turned out disastrously in the long run. The exodus to 8chan changed a lot of things and gave the reborn communities and legacy boards an opportunity to rebuild and redefine themselves. Somewhere in all that chaos, /tg/-tan was rebuilt as a sort of techno-skeleton who later found himself a young female apprentice.. But like I said, there's not much of a story there, beyond people simply wanting their board to have the kind of fun dynamic that other boards have, like Conrade and his rogues gallery, or /v/ and his houseful of wayward daughterus. Trying something of a digital painting style while staying in practice and doing more drawing than usual. Gotta stay out of that rut.
