Beatrice: Ava, we do not need that many cereal.

Ava: Uh yes, we do, Bea. See, I got boring old Cheerios for Lilith and Mary... Reese’s Puffs for me and Camila... and the only sugar I’ve seen you eat is cinnamon toast, so I got the cereal version for you.

Beatrice: *swoons at the thoughtfulness and smiles softly*

Ava: Aren’t I... sweet? *raises eyebrows playfully*

Beatrice: *chuckles* Ok, you are. But seriously, you do not need more sugar in your system. So just pick one.

Ava: *pouts* Oh c’mon, Bea. One can never have enough sugar!

Beatrice: Need I remind you how you drove everyone crazy when you had that coffee?

Ava: That was caffeine!

Beatrice: —which you loaded up with a bunch of sugar cubes! I told you the two cubes I put in should be enough!

Ava: It needed all that sugar, Bea! Otherwise, it’ll still be bitter! And I am not bitter! I’m sweet!

Beatrice: *rolls eyes* That’s besides the point. *pointed at the cart* You already have your gummy bears. Pick one cereal and get rid of the others.

Ava: Ugh! Fine... queenBEA! *sticks tongue out at Beatrice* I’ll put these back. *takes the two boxes and leaves the Cinnamon Toast Crunch on the cart*

Beatrice: *watches as Ava sulkily walks away and laughs as the girl almost tripped in the process*

Old lady: She is a sweet girl, for picking the one you would like.

Beatrice: *turns to face the woman* Oh...um, yeah, she is sweet. *smiles*

Old lady: How long have you two been together?

Beatrice: *blushes* Oh...uh, we’re—

Old lady: Actually, you don’t have to answer that. It doesn’t matter, anyway. I can tell you’re gonna be in each other’s lives for a very long time.

Ava: *returns to Beatrice’s side, casually putting her hand on her back* Shall we go, Bea?

Beatrice: *gasp*

Avatrice: *eyes wide in realisation* Camila!

Camila is so precious! She’s like an excitable child with a mischievous streak, but always aiming to please.
