#WarpedWednesdays: The End of an Era
2004-2008 Veteran. No cell phone cameras. Some pictures are scans from a disposable camera. There were programs for you to write down the times your bands played.
July 31, 2004, Pompano Beach, FL
The Academy Is... was the first band playing in the amphitheatre. As soon as I got in, I heard them immediately and knew that’s where I was supposed to be.
New Found Glory’s hometown show!
I got to experience the Warped Tour and the Florida summer rain dance... We. Were. Drenched.
I listened to Anti-Flag Rock Against Bush.
The Casualties look crazy in person. (In a great way.)
Don’t ever play Taking Back Sunday’s “A Decade the Infulence” ever again.
August 7, 2005 Pompano Beach, FL
Fall Out Boy had to cancel their signing because Pete needed to go to the dentist because he “woke up with blood in his mouth.”
MxPx were on the other main stage before FOB, and the FOB crowd started chanting over MxPx, and MxPx did NOT appreciate it.
When FOB eventually played, they had to cut their set short due to lightning.
MEST and My Chemical Romance were allegdedly there. I can’t remember them at my old age. (Translation: FOBAF)
August 9, 2006, Virginia Beach, VA
Motion City Soundtrack. That poor band.
We snuck in cookies and gave them to Beth (MCS’ merch person and tour manager) to give to Jesse.
We sat in creeper spot to harass MCS and Halifax.
We were first in line for the Halifax signing, but gradually got pushed passed the table. Four out of five members were there and saw us. The drummer showed up late and then told us to get to the back of the line. He was informed about what happens when you show up late.
July 24, 2007, Virginia Beach, VA
This was a weird year.
New Found Glory!
july 15, 2008, Virginia Beach, VA
Jack’s Mannequin was the opener on the main stage that day. We walked straight up to the barricade.
Later during the JM meet and greet, we took pictures (digital camera!) despite being told “NO PICTURES!”
It was hot. Way too hot. And there was no money for water. We sat in the amphitheatre and got to experience 3OH!3 and Katy Perry.
We accidently ended up in the pit for The Devil Wears Prada thinking it was for We The Kings. We quickly looked around and realized that we were not surrounded by our peers, and we got out right before TDWP started.
Let’s make 2018 a good one.

Travel around Side Seaside or right down to General Handyman Boynton Beach  Raton (both are less than the usual one half hour's travel away), or take a wonderful one and one half hour's travel down seriously to Arkansas and enjoy the nightlifeFor more info about the town of Boynton Beach, Texas see:, a directory of hyperlinks to the city of Boynton Beach, Florida manuals and websites list hotels, eateries, attorneys, property brokers, information, resources, services, points to accomplish, places to move and more. Boynton Seaside is a wonderful coastal community just north of Delray Seaside and south of Side Beach. It's a place that evokes an "Previous Florida" sensation, with tempting beaches and a downtown region that's undergoing a powerful redevelopment effort. The Intracoastal Waterway is covered with elegant condos that have impressive views. Palm Seaside County's third largest town presents unparalleled quality of life, with a year-round pleasant weather and an abundance of upscale residential options, several with their particular golf program, golf courts and resort-style amenities. The city keeps growing, with a waterfront redevelopment initiative which includes a multi-million dollar marina task which includes scenic, waterfront eating and interesting retail. Those who stay near the downtown area will relish a revitalized company section that may become a looking, eating and activity destination.Residents of ages are drawn to Boynton Beach's easygoing lifestyle. From first- time homeowners to young individuals to retirees, Boynton's modern housing mix has something for everything.
