It has been over a month since I have updated anything and I'm very sorry because I have a whole bunch of things like 95% finished and just haven't been able to get over the finish line. Next chapter of HWTC? Just have to type it. Next Chapter of Retirement Party? Probably 1000 words away. Rugby? I'm so close to the end. Almost done the first draft of Sparrow. Like c'mon man what are you doing get your shit together.

#And like yeah yeah I know it's fanfiction and there's no pressure but I want to get these things actually finished #I need to be able to point at some finished stories and feel like I achieved something #I think I need to go back on adhd meds but I'm worried I'm gonna get sick again #but every aspect of my life is fucking suffering from my inability to start and finish projects #And I probably won't get sick again that was mostly from stress I think #but on the bright side I've been playing animal crossing again and that's been fun #If we're moots and you play it tell me your friend code and we can visit each others islands #cave talking #vent #Ignore me I'm just clearing out the guilty cobwebs so I can hopefully move forward

#*emerges from 430 HOURS of life-changing playtime blearily like a lost and confused kitten*#i lost my interest in drawing bc everything is too sad & horrible right now. it was a luxury and privilege to lose myself in this instead #what follows will be my personal and trivial emotions about that #i'll do better proper drawings later. for me. they are both so very dear to me... deeply dear...unforgettable journeys of fate #truly have played like one possessed for the past few weeks. you have no idea. what do i do now. what do i do.#their personalities are so vivid to me though they mostly made the same choices. both intersex and they/them - canonically <3 #i missed out on FOUR PARTY MEMBERS in my first playthrough due to not understanding anything whatsoever.#gloaming ended up with wyll and pavane romanced karlach and astarion. and ended up with the one i did NOT plan on. this wasnt the plan #one of the most fulfilling romance paths i've ever..i cant say more..it all got too immersive and now i have to just.. MOVE ON ??????????#live in THIS world where i can't gut imperialism personally and emerge alive from that?#without Long Resting? without my character requesting a kiss from their beloved after a tough day ??#without preparing my little spells? without channelling divinity from my death god to keep us all alive?#without dyeing my man's clothes fancy colours for him? without him Approving whenever i lie and double-cross our enemies #without sharing clothes with my ex? without choosing to eat the heavy food first so that the weight is easier on her Carrying Capacity?#without orchestrating ways for all of my friends to kill the abusers that ruined their lives for a decade or even 200 years?#without experiencing degrading horrors on a daily basis but in a cathartic way where we always make it back to our rooms at the inn #WITHOUT SPEAK WITH ANIMALS???????????#at least there's music. just like with persona 5 that will always be with me. always #like how p5 melodies take me back to those feelings. those rich and personal feelings.... gosh i'd like to get into gaming but like everything is expensive and i wouldn't even know where or how to start

#mostly pc games i think #recommendations are welcome!#gaming #like my gaming experience is limited to a few 2000s-pc games the nintendo dc (+dsi+3ds) and the ps2 and ps3 #oh and the gameboy advence sp!#all of those consoles where my older sibling's first (8 year age gap) so i have never in my life bought a game console #i think i's like to play minecraft (yes really) (i played the ps3 version but i'd like to play the pc version)#and like uncharted and tomb raider #oh and jedi fallen order and survivor ofcourse #the only reason i'd buy a switch is to play animal crossing (ac new leaf is one of my favorite games) but like that's noit woth it #and like i think that small indie games are cute #i actually think that game development seems really fun (but also like those people do get not paid that well and they are often overworked #like i had to make a word search in java for a uni project and i thought that was really fun #kj post

small reminder that giving up on the snow and time traveling to spring is completely fine if winter gives you burnout! you should always play the way that makes you enjoy the game🏝

i always forget i wanna get a nintendo switch so i can play with @dan-crimes but im just worried it might be outdated now and a waste of money. maybe i could get one second-hand for my birthday and ask people to buy me games?? 😭

My Animal Foresting continues. I forgot how much Zelda crossover stuff there is in the older Animal Crossing games, someone dumped their Master Sword in my town's junkyard and Gulliver apparently has a "goldfish" in a Hyrulian port. Also the writing interface is fucking weird

#Kermis plays video games #Animal Forest #Doubutsu no Mori #Animal Crossing #Nintendo 64 #also going from New Horizons maximum storage capacity of 5000 items and 40 inventory slots #to just 1 item per closet and 15 inventory slots is. pain #although you can do the Wild World thing and drop items into letters and then drag them out whenever needed #which I'm using mostly for tools #also eagerly waiting to see what the Famicom emulation is like when I'm already playing this on an emulator #not sure if you can get Famicom cartridges at Redd's or as raffle prizes or something

I am however a broke ass bitch all the time and cannot afford two 60 dollar games even at the best of times atm

It looks really cool, the models are surprisingly pretty and the animation looks really good, I'm not sure I'd be good at the gameplay but they look nice and I'd LOVE to try them some time

Sometime ago my sense of time is really off honestly #Anyway I tend to procrastinate on playing new games so for like a month it went untouched #Then I finally decided to try playing it and my Joycons weren't working??#They didn't charge they wouldn't sync to the switch they wouldn't even turn on #So I send them into Nintendo and I have to go like 2 months no Switch at all #Because I'm a broke ass pleb who ONLY has the joycons the console came with #When they finally came BACK I've forgotten the excitement for Rabbids and play mostly Animal Crossing and Splatoon 2 instead #Until my Switch starts shutting itself off from Overheating every 15 minutes #Turns out the fan in my Switch isn't running anymore???#So I call Nintendo (again) and find out to fix the console it's $100 and a risk of loosing all your save data #Soooo my dad looks up a Right to Repair video tutorial and we fix it ourselves #And that was all fine and good until I finally decide to plug in my physical copy of the Rabbids game again #(half a year after I'd originally gotten it)#And the card reader!!!!! Doesn't work!!!!!!#Because the inside of the Switch is SO small and delicate I bent something while repairing it and now the card reader isn't working!!!!#So once again it's either $100 to Nintendo and the risk of loosing save data #Or taking the thing apart and fixing it ourselves #I ended up doing neither because if I break it worse I just won't have a Switch anymore #So yeah. I own a never played copy of the first Mario + Rabbids game.#rip to me I GUESS

Some unfortunate news: Serena has never played a game in her life. She did not grow up with any consoles. She never had time to play, between her schoolwork, ballet practice and wandering off into Eterna Forest. The one that was waiting in her new room in Vaniville Town when they moved to Kalos? Already there, bought by the same officials from the International Police who furnished the rest of her bedroom, and she felt bad just shoving it into the closet.

Serena is not a gamer girl.

I have never played a Zelda game before 🤣 this was brought on by me watching griffin mcelroy play a randomized link to the past where he plays as guy fieri, bc I seek out mcelroy content whenever I am sad. And then I went “…hm you know I remember there was a hot shark guy in the one game” and here we are. Sharkboy here I come.
