#Pegasus x Chibiusa

people will joke about the time fuckery in sailor moon and are dreamshippers (Helios x Chibiusa) but then they get mad when u ship Chibiusa with Hotaru because they either think Hotaru is like a billion years older or that Chibiusa being 900 is literal

and it’s like. ok did you guys watch or read sailor moon with your eyes closed? because I’ll break it down very simply for you! Hotaru/Sailor Saturn is basically the same age mentally and physically as Helios/Pegasus

Chibiusa is 900 CHRONOLOGICALLY. She is not literally that old, the entire point is that the silver millennium family ages very slowly as to serve their people longer

I think people get confused on Chibiusa’s age because she time travels between the past and future quite a few times especially in the 90’s anime but- she’s clearly not the same age in s2 as s5 etc

But like Helios and Hotaru she doesn’t have a listed set in stone age, but let me continue

“Hotaru is too old!!!!” Hotaru isn’t old enough to be Usagi or the other inner guardians ages, and while I agree that before her rebirth she’s probably a bit older it’s really not that strange of a gap and the gap is never stated

but Hotaru being the guardian of death and rebirth… is reborn as an infant and rapidly ages until she is Chibiusa’s age. Like literally the exact age, they go to school together

they also look very similar in height and face etc, so. by the end of the main story that is shown on screen they are the same age

and then the “they’re too young to be shipped!!! Let them be friends!!!” and 14 isn’t? they’re not like 5 idk what you want me to say here + most people that say this ship her and Helios anyway so I don’t rlly get it

Hello! Thank you for this very interesting ask. I am not in Sailormoon fandom for now but I may be in the future. It's been years since I finished the series so I will answer based on my last memory and impression. Maybe if I get to rewatch it, my ship tier list will change. But for now two ships come in mind when it come to Sailor moon OTPs

1.Chibiusa x Helios

I find their aesthetic and scenes overall very ethereal, very dreamy, from Chibiusa running alone in city a night, finding pegasus in fields, Helios in traps(?), flying together in Watashitachi ni naritakute song(That's my FAVORITE scene in Sailor Moon ugh) . I just love the theme of "the mysterius man you met in a dream"

2. Sailor Mercury x Sailor Neptune

Ok this is kinda crack but people know I love Crackships. So I've always loved them, simply because they are beautiful together ;D two water guardians from different power sources. Giving me Michiru showing Amy what her hands could do beside playing vioin lol (Yes I live for Top Michiru)

Also because Amy gives me clear water vibe(like from the streams) while Michiru gives me dark cold water vibe(like from deep sea). Random huh?

As for NOTPs I don't think I have for now, I generally love everything in Sailor Moon. Maybe because I haven't watched them for a long time. This list will surely expand someday.

I know I'm still lacking on the digimon doodles BUT LISTEN! I watched Eternal which made me miss Sailor Moon SuperS so I rewatched it!! Look I know the remake is suppose to adhere more to the manga BUT the ending the old one is just so much more impactful😭PLUS you get no time with the Amazon Trio and Pegasus/Helios' relationship with Chibiusa wasn't as able to get built up as much as in the old oneee!! yall it's just my fave arch I'm sorry!!!

so i watched the last eternal trailer many times since morning and i want to talk about some beautiful and interesting things it made me realize once again.

the way chibi-usa adores usagi and wants to be like her makes my heart shatter to pieces. all this time, she stuck in a body of a child even though she is over 900 years old so she also thinks and acts like a child. but she has important missions to do. chibi-usa is the weakest and most amateur senshi but she is also the heir of silver millenium and knows that one day she will be the sailor moon of 30th century so she hates to be small and useless. chibi-usa realized it a long while ago usagi is also stupid, crybaby, being scolded by others but she also has a big smile that makes other people happy, she is strong, beautiful, brave and never look down. meanwhile, chibi-usa made some mistakes in past, had to come over some traumas and still trying to learn how to be a true senshi. because of she stuck in a child body for a long time she feels hopeless, useless; thinks she will never grow up and never be worthy of the name of "sailor moon".

but then, she met helios. he told her "young maiden". he said that chibi-usa has beautiful dreams that she should never give up on them. he wanted CHIBI-USA to save him. i'm not sure, maybe it was the first time ever someone said chibi-usa such hopeful things. she felt like she can do something first time ever in her life. in order not to disappoint him, she wanted to help helios. helios made chibi-usa realize that she should never give up on her dreams no matter how impossible they seem so someday she can make them true. and maybe that was the reason why chibi-usa fell for him.

if this isn't "couple goals", then i don't know what is.
