Like, I just have to know if someone in the IPC deliberately tossed Aventurine and Ratio on to a team together (with or without good intentions). Are any of the higher ups in the IPC or the Intelligentsia Guild out there counting on this partnership working out for the best?

Hey y’all, not to like drop my irl location or anything, but I’m in trouble and could tots use some sharing/support! Shares are IMMENSELY appreciated, and if somehow you’re an affluent person and have wanted a reason to be a monetary hero, here’s your chance!!

Basically, I go to a small-town college that has been around since the 1800s!! Like literally the 19th century, and it is so hugely for the environment and community?? Like we are a sustainable school that’s big into all types of recycling and bettering the environment—like have you ever heard of teracycling? I didn’t until I came here.

But, so, my school is in danger 💀 it’s so for the environment and the community that they forgot how expensive that can be, and are in danger to SHUT DOWN??? AT THE END OF THIS SEMESTER???!???

Guys, I am a senior. I had ONE MORE SEMESTER, I WOULD’VE BEEN GRADUATED IN DECEMBERRR!! (I wanted to double major in Graphic Design and Psychology. Schedules were a pain. Oopsies?)

And so the school is POORRRRR, we need to somehow rally up

so i spun out and hit a tree on the way to work in the beginnings of the snowstorm this last week. even the cheapest replacement hatch is going to cost me $375, and a new taillight $150. i haven't got a quote for how much it'll cost to smooth out the frame, or any of the labor. for the last 3 years i've been trying to save up to move me and my 2 disabled siblings out of such an extreme rural area to a place with even a little more transportation security for this reason alone, as well as the level of isolation i'm forced to experience socially as a closeted trans person in the middle of trump country. i'd already more than halved those savings just to get a deal on this car last fall to have a more reliable vehicle for a move.

my mom has offered to help pay what she can, but she's not exactly rolling in cash either, so i thought i'd throw this into the ether. if you're in a tough spot yourself as so many of us are, please keep your money, but if you have some extra cash, any dollar will help.

I feel like when I tell people I travel full-time they immediately assume it's because I'm rich and I'm like no you don't get it. Yes it costs money. But also I am technically homeless. I do not pay rent. I do not have permanent housing. Imagine how much more money you would have if you did not have to pay rent or utilities, now imagine putting 100% of that money into hotels and short-term rentals. That is what I do. And because I am from a very expensive place and usually stay in cheaper places, I actually save money by doing this.

She has added bronchitis to her bingo malady card 😞

She had been a little congested. She got antibiotics for it in the form of a shot on 12/27 but it didn't clear up, probably due to the other stressors (enema, hospital stay, a rare condition, etc). This morning she sounded just awful. I worried I got food into her lungs. I didn't.

Her vet's office closes on Wednesdays so we went back to the local place. They took an x-ray to see if she had aspiration pneumonia, regular pneumonia or something else. I learned that aspiration pneumonia shows up in a different part of the lungs than regular pneumonia. She has bronchitis. No fever. She's actually below regular temperature so it's good she has all of her heated areas.

She's not sneezing, coughing, or leaking out of her nose. She just sounds different levels of snotty. Horky girl.

I've been heating up water with catnip in a small paper cup and sticking her muzzle in the cup for as long as she'll tolerate the steam. We're currently in the bathroom with a hot shower running. I've also been wiping at her sinus areas with a not too hot towel to help loosen crap up.

I'm just glad I'm not working this week. Next week is going to be interesting.
