Oh, this got pretty nostalgic. Ngl. Made me think back to when I was a wee lass, getting attached to the fictional characters on my screen before I even know what that even meant yet.

¿What if the MCU had all the film rights from the beginning?

                                                          Intro

¿What if events completely changed in real life? ¿What if the MCU had all the film rights from the beginning? For the final What if of 2022 I would be showing you a concept what if that I have been working on for a long time seeing a alternate universe where Marvel Studios never lost any of the film rights and still had all of them with those rights later being bought by Disney. In this alternate universe I the Watcher will be the producer of Marvel Studios instead of Kevin Feige. ¿How will it go? Well then, without wasting anymore time sit back and relax and enjoy this dream project.

                                                              The Infinity Saga/ Phase One

Up first we have The Amazing Spider-Man set to be released on June 6, 2008 directed by Sam Raimi and this film will still be an origin story. It would have Peter be at 17 years old and in his high school senior year. He would also be an intern at Oscorp laboratories with his love interest Gwen Stacy who will be Peter’s first love before Mary Jane until I’ll eventually kill her off because I only plan for her to be a character for a few films instead of a character for several films. The film establishes that Peter's parents were scientists at Oscorp before they died in a plane crash and his father worked alongside Dr Otto Octavius. This is really the only plot point I'll be taking from the Ultimate Comics because moving forward I won’t be taking too much from the Ultimate comics until much later. Dr Octopus would be the main villain of this movie and I would have his motivations be just like that in the Raimiverse with wanting to fulfill his dream of building a successful fusion reactor. Peter gets bitten by the spider before the 10 minute mark because while he is helping Otto with controlling the nuclear fusion reactor a Spider slowly webs down to the reactor and becomes radioactive then bites Peter but right after Peter gets bit the nuclear fusion reactor goes haywire and causes an explosion which fuses Otto's mechanical arms to his body and fries the inhibitor chip just like in the Raimiverse. The rest of Peter's origin to becoming Spider-Man remains the same and I would still have the costume be more of a live-action version of John Romita Sr.’s Spider-Man costume from the 70s and 80s. I would also have the film still have a big fight between Spider-Man and Doc Ock on the subway train like in the Raimiverse and still have Spider-Man stop the train. I'm going to change the fights motive where instead of Peter going after dark because he kidnapped MJ he instead chases Doc Ock because he stole more tritium for his fusion machine. Not only that but this time Doc Ock doesn't kidnap him after he stops the train and Peter has enough time to recover after stopping the train takes a heavy toll on him. In this version it is still going to end with Spider-Man stopping Doc Ock’s fusion machine like the Raimiverse but instead of Harry telling him where Doc Ock is his location is found when Doc Ock’s machine is drawing heavy power from the city’s power grid and Spider-Man is able to track it down. Long story short Doc Ock loses and Spider-Man saves New York but this time Doc Ock does not die but instead he is imprisoned in the raft and is saved for a future installment where he is a member of the Sinister 6. As for who I would cast to play Spider-Man I will still have Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker/ Spider-Man and Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy but I really want to see Mark Hamill play Doc Ock as he would be perfect for that role.

                                                                               X-Men

Set to be released on October 13, 2008 directed by Bryan Singer. The first X-Men film in the series would remain the same as Bryan Singer's X-Men film from the year 2000 but the difference is that Rogue's role in the film would just be replaced with Kitty Pryde. Beast would testify before Congress instead of Jean Gray in the beginning of the film because it would make more sense for someone who physically appears as a mutant to testify before Congress to be honest. Jean's character would just be like how she was in the 90s X-Men show with her being a concerning and loving sister figure who was always there to offer consolation for the X-Men and help them through hard times. Jean Gray and Cyclops would still be in a relationship and they would actually have good chemistry with each other unlike in Singer's original film where they barely had any. Logan helps out Kitty Pryde the same way he did with Rogue in Singer's original film and they are still both attacked by the Brotherhood of Mutants before the X-Men come in to save them. Senator Robert Kelly would not be kidnapped in order to turn him into a mutant in this version. The final battle in the Statue of Liberty would still remain the same but Magneto does not kidnap Rogue to power it since Rogue in this version would already be a member of the Brotherhood of Mutants and in this film she doesn't become a member of the X-Men until the second film. I know who for certain I would cast for a few members of the X-Men and the Brotherhood. I will still have Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, Patrick Stewart as Professor Xavier and Liev Schreiber as Sabretooth because honestly they are irreplaceable at this point but I would have Liam Neeson as Magneto and the rest of the cast will remain the same. Overall, there would be a lot of differences and the reason that I decided to replace Rogue’s role with Kitty Pryde is because I didn't like how Bryan Singer made Rogue into this helpless damsel as that's not who Rogue is that's more of what Kitty Pryde is and yes they will have the exact same uniforms as in the comics except Wolverine who we will see his yellow costume later on.

                                                                                     Iron Man

Set to be released on August 7, 2009 directed by Jon Faverau. The film would basically remain the same movie with all the same characters, villains, cast etc. but with one difference. I would cast Jamie Foxx as Rhodey Rhodes and have him remain as War Machine for the MCU.

                                                               The Amazing Spider-Man 2

Set to be released on June 25, 2010 with Raimi returning as director. I would still have Electro as the main villain but this time I would have Vulture as the secondary villain. Kingpin would make his first debut in the MCU in this film and he funds an experiment to Oscorp to turn Max Dillion into Electro and give him his powers. Kingpin would have the classic attire he did in the comics and I'm still having Vincent D Onofrio play Kingpin because honestly he's just irreplaceable as Kingpin at this point. Vulture would work alongside Electro to take Spider-Man down and I would have Vulture be played by Robert Englund and I would have Electro be played by Aaron Paul. Spider-Man would find out that Kingpin hired Vulture and created Electro to take him down and he confronts Kingpin about it and Kingpin and Spider-Man get into a small fight kind of similar to how Kingpin VS Spider-Man in Flash Thompson’s tombstone in The Spectacular Spider-Man series. They will have a small little scuffle and then after Kingpin just pinned Spider-Man to the ground he then gives him this long monologue about the reality of life and crime and how he believes Spider-Man is just too young to understand so much etc. Spider-Man then swings off into the sunset saying that he'll keep an eye on him from now on and the film ends. But wait that's not all. The film would have a mid-credits scene where very similar to the Raimiverse Norman Osborn would inject himself with the goblin formula and he becomes the Green Goblin and kills the doctor in the process thus setting him up as the Green Goblin in the sequel.

                                                                      The Incredible Hulk

Set to be released on October 15, 2010 directed by Louis Leterrier.  It would pretty much be the same movie but I would have Edward Norton be the main Bruce Banner alias Hulk in the MCU moving forward and not have him be replaced by anyone else. No offense to Mark Ruffalo because he does an excellent job but Edward Norton nailed Bruce Banner's tormented side of the character perfectly from the comics.

                                                          Ant-Man

Set to be released on April 15, 2011 directed by Peyton Reed. It would have Hank Pym as Ant-Man and Janet Van Dyne as the Wasp be the main characters the film. I would still have Darren Cross from the comics as the main villain but he would be rewritten to have his motivations be different so that he's not some one-dimensional corporate bad guy like Justin Hammer or Aldrich Killian. Ultron would be in the movie as an artificial intelligence and robot who helps support Hank Pym like Jarvis does. There would be scenes foreshadowing him becoming a villain by talking to Hank Pym about how much humanity is flawed and “how we suck as a species”. As for who I would cast well I will cast James Ransom as Hank Pym and Elizabeth Banks as the Wasp as I actually think they would fit more as Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyne personally and I would still have Ultron be voiced by Ross Marquand as no offense to James Spader but Ross does an excellent job voicing him.

                                                                              Iron Man 2

Set to be released on July 8, 2011 with Faverau returning as director. The film would be rewritten entirely and go with the YouTube user Sean Chandler's rewrite of the film which I highly recommend you guys watch and I will leave the link here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=025up... so all the changes I'll make to Iron Man 2 would just be what Sean rewrote for the film since he came up with a lot of great ideas for the film and I highly recommend you guys check out his video.

                                                                           X-Men 2: United

Set to be released on October 7, 2011 with Singer returning and the film would be an exact adaptation of the 1982 God Loves, Man Kills story arc from Chris Claremont and John Bryne so basically have the same plots but with numerous changes. Nightcrawler would still be in the movie and it would still begin with him attacking the White House like he did in the original film and he would still be played by Alan Cumming. Colossus will also appear in the film and he would be played by Alan Ritchson. He would appear in the first act of the film with him stopping a bank robbery using his powers and the X-Men would join in to help him out. Colossus would be just like how he was in the comics as a pacifist who prefers to settle conflict through peaceful solutions and only fights as a last resort. Ritchson would obviously work on a good Russian accent for the role of Colossus and he and Kitty Pryde would start to have a relationship in the movie just like in the comics. William Stryker would be replaced with Dr. Killebrew and he would just have the same role as Striker did in the original film. Lady Deathstrike would still be in it but she would be a cyborg instead of a mutant like how she was in the comics because I hated how X2 ruined Deathstrike by not making her a cyborg. The film would explain that she and Logan had a past rivalry and she hates him for taking her family's honor and she wants to work alongside Killebrew to take the adamantium from his skeleton to honor her family's legacy just like in the comics and the 90s tv show. Rogue near the end of the film realizes that working for the Brotherhood is not a good idea and she defects to the X-Men in this film. This change in Rogue's character would obviously be earned. The ending of the movie would be different as the film will have Killebrew using Professor X and his cerebral machine to kill all mutants but Magneto intercept and forces Charles to try and kill all the humans around the world instead using Cerebro but the plan is foiled by Nightcrawler and Storm the same way as in the original film. Jean Gray would not die in this film and instead dies in the next X-Men film.

                                                                                 Fantastic 4

Set to be released on April 6, 2012 directed by Tim Story and it would not be an origin story. Instead it would do what the Incredible Hulk film did and just show the Fantastic 4’s origin in an opening sequence. The main villain of this movie would actually be Annihilus from the Negative Zone. I'm not gonna have it be Doctor Doom as he's gonna be saved for the sequel. The film would have the Fantastic 4 traveling to and exploring the Negative Zone and they would encounter and try to take down Annihilus which they end up doing so obviously in the final act. The Thing in this movie would be a CGI character and he would be about as tall and as big as the Hulk and as far as who I would cast for The Fantastic 4 I will have and yes no pun intended John Krasinski as Mr. Fantastic and Emily Blunt as Invisible Woman just like all of you are anticipating and also Lucas Till as Johnny Storm and Brendan Fraser as the Thing.

                                                             The Amazing Spider-Man 3

Set to be released on June 1, 2012 with Raimi AGAIN returning as director. I would have Sandman and Green Goblin be the main villains and I would even have Sandman's character be more like how he was in the Raimiverse but actually done correctly. I would have it that his daughter is dying from leukemia because they never specified her illness in the Raimiverse and that he needs money desperately for her treatment because the United States Health Care system is absolute trash. He volunteers to be experimented on by Oscorp and the experiment turns him into Sandman. Sandman originally is just going to be a thief who steals money just to help with his daughter's treatment and only teams up with Green Goblin in the end of the film to take down Spider-Man because the Green Goblin forces him to do so or otherwise he'll kill his daughter whom he kidnapped. I would have the scene where he forces him to join him be like the scene in Batman v Superman where Lex Luthor shows Superman pictures of his kidnapped mother and threatens to kill her if Superman doesn't do his bidding. I will Bryan Cranston play the MCU Green Goblin because to be honest he's the only one insane enough to play this character apart from Willem Dafoe in my opinion and Sandman will still be played by Thomas Haden Church. Green Goblin's initial plan is to kill Wilson Fisk and become the new Kingpin of crime like in The Spectacular Spider-Man TV series but knows that Spider-Man will constantly get in the way and in the end of the film Norman figures out Peter is Spider-Man and kidnaps Gwen Stacy and kills her like he did in The Amazing Spider-Man issue 121 from 1973. The film would end with with Peter defeating Sandman and Green Goblin almost beating the latter to a bloody pulp until he discovers that the Green Goblin is indeed Norman Osborn. Norman uses this opportunity to try and kill Peter with his glider and he jumps out of the way and it stabs him in the nuts instead just like in the Raimiverse. Peter would be so guilt-stricken by not being able to save Gwen and feeling responsible for her and Norman's death that he quits being Spider-Man in the end of the film. I would end this film in a dark way like the Empire Strikes Back but of course Peter will return as the web slinger in The Avengers film later on.

                                                                                 Thor

Set to be released on November 9, 2012 directed by Kenneth Branagh. It would have Loki as the main villain still and the film's plot would be overall the same but with some differences. Loki still betrays Laufey and tries to use the bifrost to destroy Jotenheim but Thor stops him and makes Thor think that he dies by throwing himself into the void of space outside of Asgard and seemingly dies but returns in The Avengers film later on. The Bifrost is not destroyed and is in fact still intact but Thor has a conversation with Odin the day after Loki seemingly dies about how he has learned from his wrong doings and how he has matured and Odin casts another enchantment where he can use his hammer to shapeshift into Donald Blake which was his human disguise on Earth in the comics. In the end he returns to Earth and reunites with Jane thus giving the film a way more somber ending than the original film.

                                     Captain America the 1st Avenger

Set to be released on March 22, 2013 directed by Joe Johnson. It would basically be the same movie and Chris Evans would still play Captain America however I would cast Till Schauder as the Red Skull instead of Hugo Weaving. I mean no offense to Hugo Weaving I just didn't really think he pulled off the Red Skull properly and I do believe that Till could pull it off better. Red Skull would not wear a human mask and would still be in his Red Skull form the entire film and would only appear in his human form in flashbacks. The film would end with Red Skull firing a nuclear missile at America and Captain America intercepts the missile and causes it to crash in the North Pole and he would be frozen in ice for 68 years until he is found by Nick Fury and Shield. Red Skull would instead escape and not seemingly die like he did in the original movie and returns for a later Captain America film. The Cosmic Cube/the Tesseract and the Space Stone would not be in this movie either and I would also have Wolverine have a cameo in this film where he fights alongside Captain America to storm Hydra's base and yeah he would only really have like a brief cameo not much else. I made no Space Stone and Infinity Stone be in this film and the film would also have an end credits scene which would have an official second trailer to The Avengers coming after this film because by the time this film comes out there would have already been a teaser trailer for The Avengers months before so this one would have a second trailer in the end credits to hype the audience up.

                                                 ¡Finally the moment you’ll have been waiting for!

The Avengers set to be released on May 3, 2013 directed by Joss Whedon. The film would have the same members as the original film with the addition of Spider-Man, Ant-Man and the Wasp. The X-Men and Fantastic 4 would still appear in this film but not until the final act where they help the Avengers fight against the Chituari army. Black Widow’s backstory in this film would be completely different. In my version I would explain that she was born in the late 1940s and she was raised and trained as a child to be an assassin to spy for the Soviets government. Black Widow explains that she was given an experimental form of the Super Soldier Serum by the Soviet Union which they created using government Intel stolen from the United States and the serum that she was given not only prolonged her lifespan and made her age at only half the rates of an average human but also gave her superhuman attributes. I would also have Wasp in this film be the one to come up with the name Avengers because in the comics she was the one that came up with that name so it's a good homage at least and the movie would still have a light-hearted tone however I would tone down the humor in this film because the problem I had with the humor in the first Avengers movie as much as I enjoyed it was that they went way too overboard with it that it took away from the seriousness of some scenes and sequences. Loki in this film would be way more intimidating and more menacing and he would still work for Thanos to take down Earth. However, I would have him be more akin to Steppenwolf from Justice League (the Snyder Cut by the way) in the sense that while he is still an underling he is still very intimidating and a force to be reckoned with. I would still have a scene where the Avengers would fight against a brainwashed Hulk who was mind-controlled by Loki and it would have it happen in a metropolitan area in New York and I would have it where Wolverine and Hulk would duke it out and they would fight in a contest of wars just like in the comics. I would have Spider-Man return in this film and have Peter become Spider-Man again where he intervenes and helps The Avengers take down Hulk. The film would end in a final fight in New York with Loki and the Avengers and I would have a scene very similar to the final battle in Avengers Endgame where just when it seems that Captain America is overwhelmed by Loki and his Chituari army every one of the Avengers rallies up behind him including the X-Men, Fantastic 4 and Asgardians and so on with the soundtrack Portals by Alan Silvestri playing in the background with Captain America saying “AVENGERS ASSEMBLE” right before they charge at Loki and his Chituari army. In this film I mean I would change their design a little bit to be more akin to the Ultimate Comics design as I didn't really like the live action design all that much. The film would officially end with a battered Loki using the Space Stone and yes the Space Stone is in this film to travel to another part of the universe to escape from The Avengers. The film would also end similarly with news coverage of the Public's reaction to the Avengers and the final scene would be the same one from Thor the Dark World with Thor visiting Odin who what appears to be Odin in fact turns out to be just Loki in disguise.

                                                                 The Incredible Hulk 2

Set to be released on October 18, 2013 directed by Ang Lee. The film would take place in the aftermath of the Battle of New York and it would have Samuel Sterns alias The Leader as the main villain and the film would also include She-Hulk alias Jennifer Walters and this would be her first debut in the MCU. I would have She-Hulk be played by Aubrey Plaza because that's the actress who I wanted to play before Tatiana Maslany was cast and not only that but I would also have this film established that Hulk and Banner are split personalities and throughout the movie Hulk and Banner would argue and bicker inside Banner's mind about who should take over whose body and in the end of the movie they would let go of the differences and work together alongside She-Hulk to defeat the Leader and that would be the end of Phase One.

                                                                             Phase Two

Up first is Black Panther set to be released on February 14, 2014 directed by Ryan Coogler. It would pretty much be the same movie as the original film but with a number of differences. Ulysses Klaw would not appear in the film until the sequel. In the film the first act would start with T’Challa’s father T’Chaka dying from a terminal illness and T’Challa taking his place as king of Wakanda and the mantle of Black Panther. The film would still have Eric Killmonger as the main villain and Killmonger would still be played by Michael B Jordan. I would cast John David Washington as Black Panther instead not because Chadwick Boseman would still die or anything but because Washington was who I originally wanted to play Black Panther before Boseman was cast.

                                        The Amazing Spider-Man 4

Set to be released on June 6, 2014 directed by Marc Webb. It would have the Lizard and Kraven as the main villains and I would have Dr. Connors still be played by Dylan Baker from the Raimiverse becuase I finally wanna see this actor to potray the actual character at long last and he would be a Wolfman type character where every time he transforms he would be a mindless animal that would mindlessly attack and destroy everything in his path kind of like the Wolfman would. He wouldn't have this ridiculous plan of wanting to turn everyone in New York into lizards because that's stupid. Kraven the Hunter would be a secondary villain and he is hired by Kingpin to kill Spider-Man for him and Kingpin promises Kraven that Spider-Man would be his most monumental hunt. Kraven initially wants to kill Spider-Man but when he finds out about the Lizard midway through the movie and he sets his eyes on the Lizard instead. The conflict of the movie would be Peter trying to find a cure for Dr. Connors and simultaneously stopping Kraven from killing Lizard and turning him into a trophy. Peter would start dating Mary Jane Watson and they would both have excellent chemistry with each other. There would be a few scenes of them dating and Peter reveals to her that he is Spider-Man in the end of the film. Peter tries to tell MJ that they can't be together because if his enemies found out about his identity then they would get to MJ to get through him and he wouldn't be able to forgive himself just like what happened to Gwen in the previous film. MJ says she wouldn't care and she wants to take all the risks with Peter and the film ends with a cute scene of both Peter and MJ swinging through New York. Kraven would be played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Mary Jane would be played by Madelaine Petsch. But wait that's not all. There would be a mid-credits scene in this film with Kingpin meeting Doc Ock in prison and asking him how he would feel working alongside others as a team and thus setting up the next Spider-Man film with the Sinister 6.

                                                      Iron Man 3

Set to be released on August 1, 2014 directed by Shane Black and Jon Faverau would also return to direct since it would be the last film in the Iron Man trilogy but actually be good and it will be a direct adaptation of the 2005-06 Extremis story arc. The film would have the real Mandarin as the main villain of the film and he would be played by Donnie Yen. The Mandarin in this movie would have the 10 rings that he wears from the comics which would give him his powers and he would also be the leader of the 10 Rings organization. The film could even point out the irony that the Mandarin technically helped create Iron Man since he was the one who kidnapped Tony. Not only but I would have Rhodey return in this film and I would have Pepper Potts wear her Rescue armor from the comics and even have her fight alongside Tony and Rhodes against the Mandarin. The film would not have Tony dealing with anxiety attacks and would not have him dealing with PTSD from The Avengers film because what never made sense to me is how come Tony didn't develop PTSD earlier when he got kidnapped by the 10 rings but all of a sudden now develops PTSD from the final battle in New York. So I would change this film completely and actually have it be good because anyone who knows me knows that I despise Shane Black's version of the film.

                                           X-Men 3: Mutant Massacre

Set to be released on November 28, 2014 with Singer AGAIN returning to direct and he will remain as director of the X-Men films moving forward. The film will be based off the 1988 storyline of the same name from the comics and it would have Mr. Sinister as the main villain with him being the leader of the Marauders. For this film I would even introduce Juggernaut and have him be a member of the Marauders just because Mr. Sinister promised him to take down Professor Xavier who in this franchise is still Juggernaut's stepbrother like in the comics. I would even have Gambit appear in this film but he would defect from the Marauders and Mr. Sinister in the beginning of the film and join the X-Men. Gambit would leave the Marauders because in the beginning of the movie they would commit a manslaughter and massacre on the Morlocks which are a group of underground deformed mutants and Gambit realizes that it was a bad idea joining them. This would be the exact reason he defected in the comics. Not only that but I would even have the film introduce the Sentinels and Bolivar Trask. The Sentinels in this movie would finally appear after the public sphere of mutants grows astronomically high after the events of X-Men 2. Not only that but the design of the Sentinels would be more akin to their design in the Days of Future Past film but from the 1970s era. Jean Gray would die in this movie because she would sacrifice herself to save the X-Men and the Morlocks from drowning because in the end of the film the Morlock's underground lair would start to flood because the destruction caused by the X-Men and the Marauders fighting each other. There would be a mid-credits scene where it shows an outline of the Phoenix Force underwater in a river near New York City thus setting up the next film with the Phoenix Force.

                                   Captain America: Serpent Society

Set to be released on March 6, 2015 directed by the Russo Bros. The film would have Captain America trying to adjust to America in modern day like in the Winter Soldier film and it would also have the Serpent Society as the main villains with the members being Sidewinder, King Cobra, Bushmaster and Anaconda. The film would also introduce Falcon in this film but he would be more akin to Falcon from the Ultimate Comics than the Falcon from Earth-616. Shield and Nick Fury would still play a role in this film in helping take down the Serpent Society and I would even have a mid credits scene in the film with Winter Soldier assassinating the politician and meeting with a group of Hydra leaders afterwards and reporting that the kill was a success thus setting up the next Captain America movie with the Winter Soldier.

                                              Fantastic 4: Doom

Set to be released on June 19, 2015 with Story returning. As the title suggests Dr. Doom is the main villain and for this film he will be just like how he was in the comics with him being the ruler of Latveria and having all the same powers and abilities like he did in the comics. I would also have Doom's backstory be just like in the comics where he was born into a gypsy family and him and his father ran away from Latveria to escape the wrath of the king but his father ended up dying from hypothermia because of the extreme cold. I would also have Doom's mother Cynthia Von Doom be a witch just like how she was in the comics and have her make a deal with the demon Mephisto and yes I am doing Mephisto in this franchise to give her strong supernatural powers but Cynthia ends up dying because her powers went out of control. I would also have Doom be a sympathetic villain and have his entire mission be to rescue his mother from the Netherworld and from mephisto's grasp because that was actually one of Dr. Doom's main motives in the comics. As for who I would cast as Doctor Doom I will have Doom be played by Sam Witwer and Mephisto be played by Willem Dafoe. I mean come on everybody agrees he would be perfect for that role. I would also have Doom blame Reed Richards for being disfigured because at one point when Reed and Victor were friends Victor tried to open a portal to Mephisto's realm but they botched it and it was so disastrous it disfigured Victor.

                                            Guardians of the Galaxy

Set to be released on August 7, 2015 directed by James Gunn. It would pretty much be the same movie as the original one but with numerous differences. The first difference is that instead of Ronan the Accuser as the main villain it would be J’Son of Spartax who in this timeline is Star-Lord's father. I would also have Adam Warlock appear in this film and have him be a member of the Guardians and I would also have him contain the Soul Stone in his forehead and I would have the Soul Stone be colored green instead of orange. The humor in this film would also be toned down a bit because as much as I did enjoy the original film the humor was way too overboard for my taste.

                                                       Doctor Strange

Set to be released on November 6, 2015 directed by Scott Derrickson. It would be the same movie but also with a lot of differences. I would have Baron Mordo be the main villain of this film and still have him serving Dormammu and not only that but I would change Dormammu's design so that he's more comic accurate and not some cartoonish floating head like in the original film. I would have Stephen Strange go through an arc where he learns to be less selfish and use his abilities for the good of others instead of for himself and basically given the same character arc as Stark had in the first Iron Man film. The problem I had with the original Doctor Strange film was that Stephen came off as way too much of an sad man and there wasn't really enough of a redemption arc that the film gave him so in this film I would give him more of a redemption arc.

                                            Ant-Man and the Wasp

Set to be released on February 5, 2016 with Reed returning to direct. This film comes out 3 months before Age of Ultron to truly hype up the audience for the next film for how much of a big of a threat Ultron will be. Not only that but I would have Ghost still be the main villain of the movie and I would also introduce Goliath from the comics and he would be played by Aldis Hodge. I would have Ghost be dying from her powers like how the original film handled her character but I would still have a sad backstory like she did in that film. I would also have established that Goliath and Hank Pym go way back and I'm pretty sure that Krasinski and Hodge would be able to pull it off well because they're both great actors. There will be a mid-credits scene in the movie where it teases that Ultron will become evil in the next Avengers installment and show him speed reading through different files of The Avengers.

                                         ¡And of course the big sequel!

Avengers Age of Ultron set to be released on May 6, 2016 with Whedon returning to direct and it would be a direct adaptation of the 2013 comic of the same name but with some differences. I would have Thor beaten to a pulp by Ultron and be transported to Niffleheim by Loki so that Loki can impersonate Thor and be the new king of Asgard while he’s gone since Odin dies of natural causes and transfers his power to Loki. I would also have Hulk be beaten to a bloody pulp by Ultron but Hulk eventually recovers and helps beat Ultron by the end of the movie. I would still have Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver be in this film and still have Scarlet Witch play a crucial role in taking down Ultron by weakening his adamantium armor. In the original film Ultron’s armor was made of vibranium but in my story it's adamantium. Not only that but in my version Ultron attacks Washington DC and the entire final fight between the Avengers and Ultron takes place there so I would still have that as well but I would also still have the other heroes from the previous films like Black Panther, Doctor Strange and the Guardians of the Galaxy team up with the Avengers to take down Ultron and just like the previous film I would also have a scene like in Avengers Endgame where Strange opens portals so that the other heroes can join in on the fight to help the Avengers with the soundtrack Portals by Alan Silvestri playing in the background. The film would end with Pepper Potts’s consciousness destroying Ultron from inside out since Ultron took Potts’s consciousness from her body so that he can give her a robot body he can control where she will be free from her fleshy prison. Ultron’s entire plan in this film that I want to go with is that he wants to suck out humanity's consciousness and plunge them in robot drone bodies that he wants to control so that he can create a society that is truly peaceful and utopian. I would personally run with this instead of a generic destroy the world plan. However, I would have the Avengers go their separate ways and not have the president call for an arrest warrant for Tony and Steve Rogers. There would be a mid-credits scene where Loki who disguises himself as Thor gives Thanos The Infinity Gauntlet and in exchange he will leave Asgard alone and not destroy it and Thanos agrees to the deal.

                               The Amazing Spider-Man: True Colors

Set to be released on August 5, 2016 with Webb returning to direct and would be set in the aftermath of Age of Ultron. This film would introduce the symbiote black suit from the comics, Black Cat who will still be played by Felicity Jones and the Sinister 6 as the main villains and Kingpin would hire The Sinister 6 to take down Spider-Man and I'm pretty sure by the time this film comes out the first season of Daredevil which I'm already planning to release for this franchise would be released and have Wilson Fisk be in prison by the end of the show but because he's still the Kingpin of crime he's still pulling the strings from behind bars. I would have the Sinister 6 lineup be just like in the original comics with Doc Ock, Vulture, Electro, Sandman, Kraven and Mysterio. This one would be Mysterio's first appearance and I would have Quentin Beck appear in the previous Amazing Spider-Man movies but only as a cameo to like tease that he'll become Mysterio eventually. Not only that but I would explain that the black symbiote landed on Earth all the way back in the 1990s in a space shuttle by NASA and Dr. Rick Parker who is Peter's father was working on the symbiote to see if it could cure cancer. Peter would become Venom and would break into Oscorp after he finds out that the sins he found out from his father's files and it was stored in Oscorp in a vault somewhere and that's when he encounters Black Cat and the two are in a rivalry and a relationship from there. After Peter gets the symbiote attached to him I would put a cameo where he would go visit the Fantastic Four in the Baxter Building and have Reed Richards analyze the symbiote for Peter just like in the comics. I would end the movie with Peter defeating the Sinister 6 with the help of the black symbiote but realizes that he went too far when he beats Doc Ock almost to a bloody pulp within an inch of his life. Peter would take off the symbiote in the church tower like in the comics and I would also have the dream sequence from the comics show Peter's internal struggle with wanting to take it off. By the end of the film he ends up doing so and it passes on to Eddie Brock thus setting up the next film with Brock as the main villain as Venom. I also forgot to mention that I would also introduce Eddie Brock earlier in The Amazing Spider-Man movies as a cameo and maybe introduce him in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 when he's working for the Daily Bugle and set him up as Venom later on.

                                  Black Panther Wakanda Forever

Set to be released on October 14, 2016 with Coogler returning to direct. The film would have both Ulysses Klaw and Namor as the main villains and it would have Klaw teaming up with Namor to take over Wakanda because both Atlantis and Wakanda have been in a big rivalry for a long time like in the comics and have Klaw wanting to purge Wakanda for its vibranium for his own doing. I would have Namor sort of become a good guy in the end by saying it was a big mistake teaming up with Klaw and work with T'Challa to take him down. By the way I would actually have Namor actually be Atlantean and not Aztec like whatever the hell the MCU just did with him and I would also establish that Namor is a mutant since he was canonically Marvel's first mutant.

                                  Captain America: the Winter Soldier

Set to be released on March 3, 2017 with the Russos and Joe Johnson returning to direct and it would be the last film in the Captain America trilogy. The film would have over all the same plots as the original film but here are some of the differences I will write in. I will have Alexander Pierce actually be the president of the United States and not the secretary of the World Security Council and instead of him being played by Robert Redford he would be played by Till Schuader and you can already see where I'm going with this. Winter Soldier would have more screen time and have more of a role in this film and I would have more scenes of him trying to research and dig up his past and try to find out who he really is. I would have the scene in the overpass be the same but instead of all three of them being arrested Steve is the only one who was arrested with Black Widow and Falcon  fleeing. I would have Winter Soldier bring Steve personally to the president and then the president gives him this long monologue about how Hydra believes that the world cannot be trusted with its own freedom. I mean you get it and then the president's accent slowly changes to a familiar German accent that Steve has heard before and the president takes off his human mask and reveals that he was the Red Skull the whole time. Yes this is how I would have the Red Skull return in this film and reveal that he infiltrated the United States government to make sure that Project Insight was a success. In the end of the film it went the same way with Falcon rescuing Cap and telling him to put the three motherboards in each Helicarrier to stop Project Insight. The film ends with Red Skull imprisoned, Winter Soldier fleeing and Shield's reputation being damaged beyond repair.

                                        Thor: Journey Into Mystery

Set to be released on June 9, 2017 directed by Alan Taylor. The film would pick up from where we left off in Age of Ultron with Loki leaving Thor on Niffleheim after he is badly injured by Ultron and with Loki impersonating Thor to be the king of Asgard. The entire film would have Thor figuring out a way to get out of Niffleheim to Asgard and stop Loki. The main villains would be Hela the goddess of death and the ruler of Niffleheim and I would actually have Hela be Loki's daughter and not Loki's stepsister unlike whatever the hell Taika Watiti did with Hela in Thor Ragnarok. I would also have Enchantress and her right hand man Skurge as side villains though I don't know how they'd fit into the story maybe have Enchantress be hired by Loki to make sure that Thor doesn't return. I would end the film with Loki powered by the Odinforce that Odin passed down to him after Odin died fighting against Thor on Asgard for who is the rightful leader of Asgard. The victor is obviously Thor and the film ends with Thor being crowned as the new king of Asgard as his birthright.

                           The Amazing Spider-Man Nature VS Nurture

Set to be released on August 11, 2017 with Webb AGAIN returning to direct. The film would have Eddie Brock alias Venom as the main villain and I would have Venom be CGI like in the Venom movies but actually look polished and good. Venom's design would be just like Todd McFarlane's design with sharp teeth, the spider logo on his chest and back etc. I would open this film with Spider-Man defeating 2 throwaway villains from the comics which are Rhino and Shocker. They're not the main villains or anything but just 2 throwaway characters to start the movie with and I would have Eddie Brock's backstory be just like in the comics to make him more down to earth and sympathetic and I would have Venom slowly play mind games with Peter and interfering in his personal life and even putting the lives of his loved ones in jeopardy. The film would end with Peter not only defeating Venom but taking the symbiote away from him and locking it up in a vault in Oscorp so that it doesn't escape again.

                                                 X-Men Dark Phoenix

Set to be released on November 10, 2017 with Singer returning as director and it would be a direct adaptation of the 1980 storyline of the same name. It will open with the X-Men discovering Jean Gray's body alive and well in a river near New York and then shortly afterwards the Phoenix corrupts Jean and she starts to wreak havoc as the Dark Phoenix. The Hellfire Club would be involved in this too and I would also introduce Emma Frost in this film. I would also introduce two new members of the X-Men with Banshee and Dazzler. I would also have Magneto play a crucial role in this film in helping take down the Dark Phoenix and I would also introduce Genosha which is the island nation of mutants ruled by Magneto and have this be the film when Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver find out that they are mutants and that Magneto is their father just like in the comics. I would end this film with Jean Grey being freed from the Phoenix Force and the Phoenix Force explaining that the entire reason it became corrupt was because of the human emotions it experienced from Jean because remember in the comics when the Phoenix was created it was never made to feel so that human emotions could not corrupt it. I wouldn't have Jean Gray die in this film and instead I would have her live and maybe die again in another MCU film because you’ll have to wait and see. Not only that but I would have a mid credits scene where the president of the United States announces that after the events of Dark Phoenix, Winter Soldier and Age of Ultron he is going to speak with Congress on passing the Superhuman Registration Act thus setting up Civil War.

                                               Ant-Man and the Wasp 3

Set to be released on February 16, 2018 with Reed AGAIN returning to direct and it would be the final film in the Ant-Man trilogy. I would have the film introduce Scott Lang as the new Ant-Man for the MCU moving forward. I would have Hank Pym henceforth in the MCU adopt the Yellowjacket alter ego he had in the comics. I will also include the abusive side of Hank and Janet's relationship just to add more dimension and reality to their relationship and maybe even address issues of domestic violence but only for a small bit. I would have the plot of the film be Hank Pym not only ditching his Ant-Man persona but having Scott Lang steal Hank Pym's Pym Particle technology to help steal money to repay his debts he has to an infamous mob boss who has kidnapped his daughter Cassie. Now who is this infamous mob boss you may ask. Well it's none other than Hammerhead. Yes I'm actually having Hammerhead be the main villain of this film and I would also introduce Silver Sable as a side villain to team up with Hammerhead since they both were in a relationship in the comics at one point. So I would have the conflicts be Hank and Scott teaming up to save Scott's daughter and taking down Hammerhead and Silver Sable.

                                               Avengers Civil War

Set to be released on May 4, 2018 directed by Thomas Bezucha and Ali Selim and be a direct adaptation of the 2006-07 comic of the same name. The story centers around the themes of freedom versus control human security government overreach etc which are basically the kind of themes that would make a libertan drool. The film would have team Captain America and Iron Man fighting it out and I would have the central conflict of the movie be centered around the Superhuman Registration Act. The problem I had with the original film was that they shoved the Sokovia Accords to the side and had the whole conflict centered around Cap aiding a fugitive Bucky which angered me because the whole film was supposed to be about the Sokovia Accords and they just shoved that aside for the sake of Cap aiding Bucky so in this film while Bucky is still a member of Team Cap the conflict won't center around him. Spider-Man would wear the Iron-Spider suit he had from the comic and I would have him briefly defect to Team Cap after realizing that team Iron Man has went too far. Not only that but I would have Daredevil be in this film and have him be on the side of Team Cap and I would have Hulk be a member of Team Cap because it makes sense since he was hunted by the government for the past 8 years and doesn't want to be in their control under the Registration Act. I would also have a big fight scene where Hulk and Tony Stark are fighting and Tony Stark is wearing his Hulkbuster armor and Hulk ends up being defeated and is placed in a cryochamber cell in the Negative Zone as punishment and yes I would introduce the Negative Zone prison in this film but instead of it being Tony and Reed Richards’s idea it would be the idea of the United States government. Tony couldn't do anything about it because his hands were tied and the government forced his hand. It never made sense to me that Tony and Reed would do something as horrible as imprison their former comrades in the Negative Zone and slowly deteriorate their psyche so from now on every questionable action that team Iron Man took in the comic would just be the government’s idea from then on. I would have the movie end with Captain America dying. Yes actually dying in this film from being shot by Crossbones. Let me set the scene. Crossbones is hired by the president to take down Captain America and aims at him from a sniping position in the middle of Cap and Tony fighting but Cap decides that he will refuse to fight Tony any longer because the two were just too close as friends. Crossbones then shoots Captain America in the chest and wounds him fatally and Iron Man ends up cradling him in his arms. I would have a scene similar to the comics where Iron Man visits Captain America's dead body in the morgue and explains to him in a sad and heartbreaking monologue about how the fighting between them was never worth it and considering that Robert Downey Jr is an excellent actor I have no doubt he'll be able to pull it off. The film would end with a funeral for Captain America and everyone attending it by paying their respects. But that's not all. The film would have a mid-credits scene where the president of the United States who signed the Superhuman Registration Act is talking with a woman over on the phone and he says something unusual. He says that the plan to divide Earth's Mightiest Heroes has been successful and they will take over Earth as it is written in the prophecies. Then the president slowly shapeshifts to become a Skrull and then the scene cuts to black thus setting up the Secret Invasion movie that I have planned for later on.

                                    Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2

Set to be released on August 3, 2018 with Gunn returning to direct. The film would have the Kree Empire and Ronan the Accuser as the main villains. I would also introduce Mantis in this movie but I would completely change the character. I would have her backstory be just like in the comics where she is a half French and Vietnamese young girl who was taken into the care of and trained in martial arts by a Vietnamese monk who is actually a member of the Kree Empire. She wouldn't be this infantile and naive woman like in the original film and instead she is a fiery and determined soldier who doesn't take from anyone. I would have her defect to the Guardians midway through the movie and have the film end with the Guardians of the Galaxy with the help of the Nova Corps take down Ronan and his Kree empire. For the record I would actually have Ronan be a threatening and imposing villain and he wouldn't need the Power Stone in his hammer to be a powerful threat so the Power Stone wouldn't appear in this film. Not only that but I would also not have a stupid bit where he gets distracted by Star-Lord dancing because it would just be ridiculous that out of all things he would be distracted by he would be distracted by that.

                             Doctor Strange Into the Dark Dimension

Set to be released on November 9, 2018 with Sam Raimi from Spider-Man directing and it would be a direct adaptation of the comic of the same name. It would be set in the aftermath of Civil War and have Doctor Strange and Wong team up alongside Clea who was Dormammu’s niece to take down Dormammu who is still planning to take over Earth and the Universe. I would still have Clea be played by Charlize Theron and have both her and Doctor Strange be in a relationship like how they were in the comics and in the end of the film they both team up to take down Dormammu and I would have the movie contain very eerie atmosphere and visuals since it takes place in the dark dimension and I want the film to capture how truly dark it really is and that is the end of Phase Two.

                                                                           Phase Three

                                                              Fantastic 4 the Lost Kingdom

Set to be released on February 8, 2019 directed by Josh Trank. I would have the plot of the film be that Namor arrives in New York City and needs the Fantastic 4’s help to rescue Atlantis because Attuma who is the main villain of the film has taken over Atlantis and needs the Fantastic 4 to help overthrow him. The movie would end with Attuma trying to launch an amphibious Invasion on New York City but the Fantastic 4 foils it alongside Namor and help restore the Throne of Atlantis back to its rightful king.

                                                                              Thor Ragnarok

Set to be released on May 3, 2019. I will have Taika Waititi direct this film because I love the actual Ragnarok film he made and it would have a much darker and bleaker tone and It would be a direct adaptation of the Ragnarok storyline from the comics and it would be the final film in the Thor trilogy. I will still have Surtur and Hela be the main villains and I will have them by the end of the film completely obliterate Asgard during Ragnarok and have Lady Sif and the Warriors 3 die in this film and have them go out in a heroic way with Thor mourning over their deaths and their demise is what makes him unleash the full power of the Odin force and defeat both Hela and Surtur. The film would basically feel like a Game of Thrones kill fest with so many main characters from the previous films that we know and love dying and the only main characters that survive in this film are Thor, Loki, Heimdall and the citizens of soldiers of Asgard who still survived. The film would end with Thor creating and settling in New Asgard on Scandinavia but still mourning over how much he has lost.

                                               The Amazing Spider-Man Sins of Our Fathers

Set to be released on August 9, 2019 directed by Jon Watts. The film would have Harry Osborn alias the new Green Goblin as the main villain and his motive is getting revenge on Spider-Man since he believes he killed his father. The film would have Harry’s sanity slowly dripping away bit by bit as he succumbs to the goblin formula and in the end of the film he tries to kill Mary Jane the same way his father did Gwen Stacy but Spider-Man ends up foiling it and saves MJ and this helps make up for the fact that he couldn't save Gwen before Harry would end up dying in the film the same way his father did by his own blade just to make it more ironic. I would have the main overarching theme of the film be how the actions of both Peter and Harry's parents are affecting their lives and how differently they ended up turning out. But wait that's not all. The film would have a mid-credits scene where Miles Morales who does have a cameo in this movie gets bit by the same spider that bit Peter and the post-credits scene would be him telling Peter about his powers and Peter revealing to him that he's Spider-Man.

                                                                                The Wolverine

Set to be released on November 1, 2019 directed by Gavin Hood. The film would be a solo film focused solely on Wolverine and I would have the plot of the film be that Wolverine is taking a break from the X-Men and still grieving after the events of Dark Phoenix and Civil War and I would have Dr. Killerbrew return as the main villain and he is hunting down Logan to create him to be the perfect soldier and create more refined clone soldiers of him. Killebrew hires Sabretooth, Lady DeathStrike, Omega Red and Deadpool to hunt him down. I would have Omega Red be one of the villains in this film because I really want this character to get the live action treatment and this would also be Deadpool's first live-action debut in the MCU. He would still be played by Ryan Reynolds because let's just face it here he's irreplaceable as Deadpool at this point. Deadpool would still crack the fourth wall and make jokes about how he's aware that he's in a comic book movie etc. I would have Deadpool defect and be a good guy in the end and help Wolverine fight off the other villains. I would probably have him make a joke where he says “all right time to switch sides because the plot requires me to”. The film would end with Logan and Deadpool fleeing the Weapon X facility on Alkali Lake and there would be a mid-credits scene where Mr Sinister meets up with Dr Killebrew and discusses future plans for Wolverine.

                                                                                  Ghost Rider

Set to be released on February 14, 2020 directed by Mark Steven Johnson. The film would basically have the same premise as the original film but it would actually be good and not a train wreck. The film would have Johnny Blaze as the main character and I would have him be played by Boyd Hallberg. The film would have Blackheart as the main villain but his design, powers and backstory would be just like how he was in the comics and not some twilight reject like in the original film. Mephisto would still be in this movie and he would be the same one that appeared in my Fantastic 4 Doom film. Long story short Blackheart and Mephisto get defeated and I would have a cool ending sequence where Ghost Rider rides off into the sunset with Wherever I May Roam by Metallica playing in the background. I would have the movie's soundtrack be classic heavy metal songs since Johnny Blaze in the comics was a big metal head.

                                                                    Avengers Secret Invasion

Set to be released on May 1, 2020 with Bezucha and Selim returning to direct and it would be a direct adaptation of the 2008-09 comic. The film would take place 2 years after the events of the Civil War film and it would have Iron Man still grieving over Steve and how divided the Avengers have become and the guilt he carries with it. I would have the film still have some of the plotpoints from the original comic except the one subplot where they were on the Savage Land. I would have most of the movie be a mystery film about who's a skrull and who is not and I would actually have the way the Skrulls invade Earth actually be secretive because the problem I had with the original comic is that the way the Skrulls invaded wasn't that secretive. It was just too obvious. As Marvel said the comic should have just been retitled Avengers Damn Obvious Assault. I would still have a scene from the comic where Maria Hill who is actually a skrull in my version of the film frees all of the prisoners from the Negative Zone prison and the Avengers would have to take them all down basically freeing the Negative Zone prisoners as a distraction. Not only that but I would have this be the movie where Clint Barton drops his Hawkeye persona and becomes Ronin. He was also Ronin in the original storyline so it would basically be a homage to that. The film would still have a big action scene where the super Skrulls and The Avengers fight but I want this film to be more of a mystery thriller rather than to be too focused on action. I would have the film end with a final act with the final battle being on Washington DC and have it in a battle like in the Earth’s Mightiest Heroes cartoon where the super Skrulls and The Avengers face off after the Skrulls are defeated. I would write in that the U.S Congress repealed the Superhero Registration Act after it was discovered that it was just a strategy set forth by the Skrulls to purposefully divide the Avengers.

                                                                      X-Men the New Mutants

Set to be released on November 27, 2020 directed by Bryan Singer. The film will be based off the New Mutants comics of the same name and center around them but I would still have the original members of the X-Men as supporting characters and I would have this film not only centered around the New Mutants but also other mutants from the comics and I would also even introduce Quentin Choir in this film and I would have him be the same character he was in the comics being an arrogant narcissistic and I would have him be played by Jack Gleason. As far as who I would have as the main villain I would have Emma Frost of the Hellfire Club be the main villains in this film and the New Mutants take them down and as for who I would cast for the New Mutants it will be the same actors that played them in the 2020 film.

                                                      Doctor Strange Triumph and Torment

Set to be released in May 2021 with Raimi and Derrickson returning to direct and it would be the final film in the Doctor Strange trilogy. The film would have Mephisto as the main villain and have Stephen and Clea Strange alongside Dr Doom team up to take him down and rescue Doom's mother's soul Cynthia and to send her soul into heaven. The film's story and plot would be based off the comic storyline of the same name where in the original comic Strange agrees to team up with Doom to rescue his mother's soul from Mephisto and I would have this be the movie where Mephisto really gets to shine as being the main villain and have Willem Dafoe give as over the top of a performance as he desires.

                                                    The Amazing Spider-Man Criminal Empire

Set to be released on August 27, 2021 with Watts returning to direct. It would have Kingpin return from prison and hire a new line of villain members of the Sinister 6 to take Spider-Man down. The members of the Sinister 6 lineup in this film are Rhino, Shocker, Hobgoblin, Scorpion, Doc Ock and Electro. I would have the film be Miles Morales’s introduction as the new Spider-Man and fight alongside Peter to take Kingpin down. I would also have Daredevil be in this movie and have it be a team-up film between Spider-Man and Daredevil to take down Kingpin. The film would end with a big fight scene in Kingpin’s Tower where both Spider-Man and Daredevil team up to take him down and he goes to prison once again but Kingpin being Kingpin he still will try to pull the strings of organized crime from behind bars.

                                                                     Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3

Set to be released on December 3, 2021 with Gunn AGAIN returning to direct. The film would have Thanos as the main villain and he would have the same motivations and backstory he did from the comics rather than whatever the hell the Russos did with him in the 2018 Infinity War film because the problem is that the Russos gave Thanos this overly complicated plan and turned him into this sympathetic benevolent dictator that made him cease to be what he was from the comics so instead he's going to be the same how he was in the comics and I would have his personality be more megalomaniacal and dictatorial like in the bits we saw him in the 2014 Guardians of the Galaxy film. In this film I would introduce Lady Death and I would have both her and Thanos be in a relationship and establish a backstory similar in the comics in order to please Lady Death. He would kill his entire race of people on Titan which is a moon and not a planet in this version to gain her love and that he wants to annihilate half the universe just for her. In this movie I would have Thanos collect 3 Infinity Stones by the end of the film which are the Power, Reality and Mind Stones respectively. I would have him hire the Black Order to try and pry the Soul Stone from Adam Warlock’s forehead but they don't succeed. I would actually have the Black Order in this film be a overpowered intimidating threat like in the comics because one of the only things I hated from the 2018 Infinity War film was that they were de-powered and neutered since in the comics they were a serious threat and in the comics just two of the members of the Black Order were able to take down half of the Avengers and especially Wolverine and the X-Men. That’s how imposing they were. The film would end with a battered Guardians of the Galaxy fleeing in their ship to Earth to contact the Avengers and Thanos tracking them down. ¡You obviously know where this is gonna lead next!

  ¡up next is the big event film y'all have been dying to see from this project of mine!

Avengers Infinity War set to be released on July 29, 2022 with the Russo Bros from Captain America directing. The film would have the Guardians landing on Avengers headquarters to warn the Avengers of an incoming attack by Thanos on Earth but it's too late. Thanos attacks New Asgard and takes the Space Stone that Loki hid from him and I would have Thanos defeat Thor in a fight on New Asgard and also have Thanos still kill Heimdall and Loki in front of Thor just to show how much of a menace he is and then Thanos attacks Doctor Strange who fled to Kamar-Taj to take on Thanos and have the Avengers be there with him while the other half figures out a plan to stop him. I would still have Doctor Strange contain the Time Stone around his neck like in the original film but have its color be orange like in the comics and yeah I forgot to mention all the colors of the Infinity Stones would be how their colors were in the original Infinity Gauntlet storyline. Long story short Thanos beats Doctor Strange in a fight and takes the Time Stone from his necklace. Afterwards, Adam Warlock would explain to The Avengers that the Soul Stone can actually resurrect people from the dead and all of the Avengers decide that they are going to use the stone to resurrect Captain America from the dead. I would have a scene like in Zack Snyder's Justice League where Superman was resurrected and it would have Adam Warlock using the power of the Soul Stone to resurrect Captain America and he comes back to life and the Avengers explained to a resurrected Steve Rogers everything that happened from then on and even explained that the Superhero Registration Act was repealed after the events of Secret Invasion 2 years ago when it was discovered it was purposefully created to divide the Avengers by the Skrulls. I would also have a heartfelt scene where Tony apologizes to Steve and says to him that all the fighting wasn't worth it and he was right all along and Steve forgives him and they hug and become best pals again. ¡YAY! But that is only the calm before the storm. Shortly after this Thanos and Adam Warlock will get into a huge Dragon Ball Z type fight and it would end with Thanos winning and plucking the Soul Stone from his forehead. He then prepares to snap his fingers but before he can The Avengers show up and like the previous films it would be a scene like in the final battle of Avengers Endgame where Doctor Strange opens portals and all of the Marvel Cinematic Universe that we've seen before except Captain America join in to take Thanos down. Thanos puts his plans to snap his fingers on hold just for a bit and says that he'll just have some fun before snapping his fingers to fight The Avengers and humiliate them and the whole world would be seeing the fight live on tv. The scene would have him at first taking on the original members of The Avengers and beating Hulk in a fist fight. Then he would fight the X-Men and I would have him beat all of them too and use the Power Stone to destroy the Phoenix Force thus grabbing Jean Gray by the neck and choke her to death in front of everyone. Yes I'm having Jean Gray die in this franchise yet again for real this time and I'm having Thanos kill her to prove that not even the mighty Phoenix Force can stop him. Then I would have Thanos take on the Fantastic 4 but he beats all of them as well. Then have him take on the sorcerers of Kamar-Taj along with Strange, Clea and Wong but they all lose since Thanos has all six stones. Then I would have him face off against the Guardians of the Galaxy and beat all of them as well and I would have him seemingly kill Groot. Yes I would have Groot seemingly die in this film but come back as Baby Groot in the next Avengers film. Then Thanos beats the last line of heroes left and walks all over their injured bodies and after he beats all of them he gets ready to snap his fingers but just before he does a revived Captain America steps forward and it would be just like in the Infinity Gauntlet comic where he says that as long as one man stands against him he will never win. Thanos would then briefly fight with Captain America before he shatters Captain America's shield with his gauntlet but then out of nowhere Drax comes up from behind Thanos and stabs him in the chest but Thanos starts to chuckle and Drax asks him ¿what's so funny? and then Thanos says to him “you should have gone for the head” and snaps his fingers turning half the universe into dust. Thanos kicks Drax aside and opens a portal to escape to Lady Death’s realm and uses The Infinity Gauntlet to heal his wound. The film would end the same way with half the universe turning into dust and Lady Death becoming so pleased by this that both her and Thanos’s relationship becomes so much stronger. The film would end with a shot of the remaining Avengers in horror and how much they have lost and the scene cuts to black.

                                                     Ghost Rider Hellbent and Heavenbound

Set to be released on October 14, 2022 directed by Neveldine/Taylor. The film would basically be based off the comic storyline of the same name and have the angel Zad Keel as the main villain just like in the comic. The film would have a twist to explain that Zad Keel was the one who was responsible for Johnny Blaze being the spirit of Vengeance instead of being the work of the devil. In the comic Zad Keel was the one who cut a deal with Johnny's girlfriend at the time. He made the deal with Mephisto to circumvent the devil's deal thus turning Johnny Blaze into the spirit of Vengeance. The film would take place right before the events of Infinity War and have a mid-credits scene where Johnny Blaze survives the Snap and see people including those he loves being dusted away.

                                                               The Wolverine Silver Samurai

Set to be released on April 28, 2023 directed by James Mangold and be a direct adaptation of the 1982 Wolverine comics. The film would take place in the aftermath of Infinity War and have Logan trying to cope with him losing to Thanos and losing half of the X-Men in the Snap. As the title suggests the Silver Samurai be the main villain in this film and I would not have him be some giant mechanized Transformer like whatever the 2013 Wolverine did with him. I would instead have Hamada from the comics who was the original Silver Samurai as the villain and have Yukio from the 2013 film come and recruit Logan to Japan and warn him of Hamada’s rise to power and I would have Japan in this movie be beginning to be torn apart by Thanos’s Snap just to showcase how the Snap affected everyone globally. I would also establish that Logan was trained as a samurai in the past and have both him and Hamada actually go way back and have a long built up rivalry. The film would end with Logan killing Hamada and letting his wife Mariko take over the family legacy from then on. But wait that's not all. There would be a mid-credits scene taking place 5 years later where Janet Van Dyne who was one of the survivors of the Snap in this version walk up to Logan in the X-Mansion and tells him they have hope to undo what Thanos did setting up the next Avengers film shortly coming after this.

                                                                           Avengers Endgame

Set to be released on July 28, 2023 with the Russos returning to direct. The film would have the same plot as the original film but with a few differences. I would have the first 10 minutes of the film take place two months after Thanos snaps his fingers and the Avengers finding a cosmic power surge on a moon in the solar system that had the same cosmic power surge when Thanos snapped his fingers on Earth. They track it down to Titan which is one of Saturn's moons and the birthplace of Thanos from the comics. Once they get there they find Thanos along with mistress Death and notice that Thanos is battered up and broke like how we saw him in the beginning of the original film. Long story short he explains that he used the stones to destroy the stones because he knew one day The Avengers would hunt him down to reverse what he did and destroy them for good. Drax who survives the snap in this version of Endgame stabs Thanos in the head and basically just kill him by going for the head like he was supposed to. The film jumps to 5 years later and the next 50 minutes of the film before the 1 hour mark would be the Avengers coping with what they lost and trying to move on but finding it difficult to do so after how much they lost. I would even have a scene between Spider-Man and Daredevil who in my version of Endgame survived the snap stop a few looters in the ruins of New York City and talk about how it's so hard to move on and I would even have a scene where they show that Foggy Nelson and Karen Page also disappeared in the snap and this takes a heavy toll on Matt. The rest of the movie would be the same and I would have Scott Lang still trapped in the Quantum Realm but I would have him be released by Janet Van Dyne instead of some rat. I would have it that Janet finally found the van after all these years and when she pushes a few buttons she releases Scott and he would explain that he was going into the Quantum Realm to find more samples for Ghost’s treatment but the person who was supposed to pull him out ended up getting snapped anyway and that person was Michael Peña’s character Luis. The film would still have Scott explaining the whole Quantum Realm thing to the Avengers and still have them traveling back in time to get each of the stones but here's the difference. I would have the scene where they get all of the stones in a much shorter amount of time just to save up the running time and more of a high scene like in Ocean's 11 and have each scene where they get each Infinity Stone be only about 3 or 4 minutes long. I would have a scene where Drax, Rocket and Nebula travel back in time and knock out Adam Warlock with some sleeping gas and then pry the Soul Stone from his head, Captain America take the Space Stone from Shield headquarters, Black Widow take the Reality Stone from The Collector, Scott Lang sneak into Kamar-Taj and take the Time Stone, Thor take the Mind Stone from the Grandmaster and finally Bruce Banner get into a fist fight as the Hulk with a being called the champion and take the Power Stone from his forehead because remember in the Thanos Quest Comic the champion was the being from who Thanos obtained the Power Stone from. After the Time Heist is finished I would have the Avengers gather up and put them all together in a new Infinity Gauntlet but that's not all. Shortly after Hulk snaps his fingers and brings everyone back Thanos who in this movie is resurrected by Mistress Death because she's Mistress of course she can raise people from the dead sends Thanos to The Avengers’s base along with his resurrected army to take down the Avengers and stop them from undoing the snap. The film would end the same way with everyone who has snapped coming back to life and teaming up to take Thanos down. Iron Man sacrifices himself and turns Thanos and his army into dust. A big funeral for Tony happened, Steve returned the stones and passed down the mantle of Captain America to Falcon and reunited with Peggy Carter and the film ending on a heartfelt note.

                                                The Amazing Spider-Man Into the Spider-Verse

Set to be released on October 13, 2023 with Jon Watts AGAIN returning to direct. The film would be based off the 2014-15 Spider-Verse comics of the same name and be set in the aftermath of Endgame. I would have the members of Spider-Verse in this film be the MCU Spider-Man, Miles Morales, Spider-Man 2099, Spider-Man Noir, Spider-Ham for comedic purposes and Spider-Gwen. I would have Spider-Gwen be in this film and have an emotional moment where both her and Peter reunite and have both of them explain that they couldn't save the Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy of their universe and they've been carrying the guilt over it ever since. The film would have Mysterio and DarkHawk as the main villains and I would have them use Quantum Realm technology to open a portal to the Multiverse and to release villains from the Multiverse to recruit as members of the new Sinister 6. It would be Vulture and Green Goblin from the Spider-Man Noir universe, Cren Stone who was Miguel O'Hara's half-brother, Venom from the 2099 universe and have Carnage from the Spider-Gwen universe be a member of the Sinister 6. I understand that since this is also Carnage's first big screen debut and that he is also in a Spider-Man movie he might be watered down because it will likely be PG-13. I would still have one of Spider-Man's vicious enemies get this big screen debut treatment because Carnage is one of the most popular Spider-Man villains and it would really suck if he never got the big screen treatment in this alternate universe. Long story short they're all eventually defeated and every one of them returned to their Universe along with their villains and that’s it for the Infinity Saga.

                                                         The Multiverse Saga/Phase Four

up first is the Incredible Hulk 3 set to be released in March 2024 with Lee and Leterrier returning to direct and it will be the final film in the Hulk trilogy. The film's plot would have General Ross becoming the Red Hulk and having him be the main villain but I would also have Betty Ross become the Red She-Hulk like how she was in the comics. I would also still have the original She-Hulk return in this film and fight alongside Banner. The film would have Red Hulk teaming up with the Absorbing Man and the Leader to create a new race of Hulks but eventually Banner, Jennifer Walters and Betty Ross end up foiling it in the end.

                                                                                            Black Panther 3

Set to be released in June 2024 with Coogler AGAIN returning to direct and it will be the final film in the Black Panther trilogy. The film’s plot would be that Dr Doom attempts to invade the nation of Wakanda to claim its vibranium. I would have Doom use the vibranium to create a new suit of armor for himself so that he'll be truly unstoppable. I would have this be the movie where Black Panther and Storm finally get married like in the comics and have it be built up that they're gonna get married in previous films. I would have Dr Doom create and wear a suit of vibranium in the final act but since Black Panther and the Wakandans are so well versed in how vibranium works they figure out a way to exploit a weakness in his armor and take him down. The film would end with a battered Doom fleeing Wakanda to Latveria but worst of all the United Nations agrees to launch sanctions on the country of Latveria and call for Doom's arrest for attacking the sovereign nation of Wakanda and Doom ends up fleeing out of Latveria to somewhere else secretive.

                                                                 Ghost Rider Road to Damnation

Set to be released in October 2024 with Neveldine/Taylor and Steven Johnson returning to direct. I would have the film be a direct adaptation of the same name and be the final film in the Ghost Rider trilogy. I will have the demon Mephisto open up Hotel Inferno and casts Johnny Blaze back into the Netherworld and wrestling the spirit of Vengeance in the process. I would have the film make Blaze and the spirit Zarathos that possesses him begin a spell about the nature both playing each other's existence ultimately realizing 2 Is Better Than 1 and then I would end the film with Johnny Blaze killing Mephisto and having Blackheart take over the throne and fixing up the mess his father left behind.

                                                                                     Inhumans

Set to be released on July 4, 2025 directed by Scott Buck. Yes I'm actually doing an Inhumans movie and I'm actually having the Inhumans be a part of the MCU but not as a TV show unlike whatever the hell Marvel Studios did. The film would have the original line of Inhumans from the comics and the beginning of the film would explain their origins and what their powers are and setting up the conflicts moving forward. I would have the villain of the film be the Supreme Intelligence of the Kree Empire since from what I understand the Supreme Intelligence was the one responsible for creating the Inhumans so it would be a good idea to have the Inhumans rebelling to defeat their own creator. I would have the Supreme Intelligence’s design be changed since I believe it would look better and sleeker overall instead of just some giant floating head in a pickle jar.

                                                          The Amazing Spider-Man Legacy

Set to be released on November 7, 2025 with Raimi, Webb and Watts all returning to direct. This film would be the final Spider-Man film in the MCU and it would be a direct adaptation of the 2011 Death of Spider-Man comic from the ultimate run by Brian Michael Bendis. The film would also have Norman Osborn come back from the dead and I would explain that the goblin formula helped heal his wound and it had fast healing qualities he wasn’t aware of. I would have him return to the public and manufacture a fake story about his disappearance saying that he was kidnapped by the Green Goblin and held prisoner and then he escaped. Not only that but while Norman would still be the leader of the Sinister 6 like in the storyline he would be in his Ultimate Green Goblin form from the comics and he would create a more sophisticated form of the goblin formula where he pumps it full of gamma rays and it turns him into a giant hulking monster like in the Ultimate comic. The film would end the same way with Spider-Man being badly wounded after defeating the Sinister 6 and killing the Green Goblin and ultimately no pun intended succumbing to his wounds. The film would end with a big funeral for Peter Parker with the MCU in attendance and Miles Morales taking on the mantle of Spider-Man from then on.

                                                                                       Logan

Set to be released on March 6, 2026 with Mangold and Hood returning to direct and it would be a direct adaptation of the 2015 Death of Wolverine comic and be the final film in the Wolverine trilogy. My version of Logan for the MCU would be different. Instead of Logan being on the run with Professor X the X-Men would still be alive and Logan would then be on a solo mission on his own to track down the remaining scientists behind Weapon X and Mr Sinister would return as the main villain of this film and I would still have X-23 be in this film and still have her be played by Daphne Kean. I understand that by the time this film comes out Kean would be at least 21 years old but I would write it that 20 years ago Weapon X along with Mr Sinister’s Essex Corp successfully created a clone of Logan with X-23 whom they nicknamed Laura. The film would have Laura breaking away from them and defecting to Logan somewhere in the middle act and the film would have Logan die similarly like in the original comic with him being covered in molten adamantium and the metal hardening causing him to suffocate. The film would end with a funeral for Logan by the X-men with Laura being present and I would end the film with Laura taking on the mantle of Wolverine from then on.

                                                                              Fantastic 4 Galactus

Set to be released on June 12, 2026 directed by Matt Shakman with Story and Trank also returning to direct and it would be the final film in the Fantastic 4 franchise. As the title suggests Galactus is the main villain and I would have Silver Surfer realize that working for Galactus is a bad idea and defects to the Fantastic Four like in the comics. The Avengers and their allies will return in this film but not until the final act where they take down and defeat Galactus for good and for the record Galactus would actually have his classic design from the comics and not be a giant cloud like whatever the hell Tim Story did with him.

                                                              Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.4

Set to be released on September 26, 2026 with Gunn ending this franchise. I would have Michael Korvac as the main villain and anybody who reads the comics is aware that Korvac is a serious overpowered threat in the comics and it took the combined powers of both the Avengers and the Guardians to take him down and once again the Avengers and their allies will return to help the Guardians take down Korvac and I would end it on a triumphant note since it's the last we’ll be seeing of them until the next Avengers movies later on and that is the end of Phase Four.

                                                        Phase Five/ The Final Phase

Up first is Inhumans 2 set to be released in July 2027 with Buck returning to direct. The film would have Maximus the Mad as the main villain and I would have his plan to be to dethrone his brother Black Bolt and be the true rightful king of Attilan. Maximus would be a Loki type character because he's always playing tricks up his sleeves and wanting to become the rightful ruler of Attilan like how Loki wants to be the rightful ruler of Asgard but not have him be a complete Loki knockoff. The film's final act would be Maximus trying to lead a massive army to enforce Attilan but the Inhumans foil it and Maximus is imprisoned.

                                                                               X-Men Apocalypse

Set to be released on June 30, 2028 with Bryan Singer ending this franchise. As the title suggests Apocalypse is the main villain of this film and I would have him be a CGI character instead of whatever the hell the original film did with him. I would have the members of The 4 Horsemen be Gambit, Magneto, Sabretooth and of course Archangel. The film would also establish that Mr Sinister gained his abilities and prolonged his lifespan from Apocalypse back in the 19th century but Sinister tricked Apocalypse into going back to cryogenic sleep for turning him into a mutant. The film would end with the X-Men defeating Apocalypse in the end by using the celestial technology from his ship against him and the world becoming so close to annihilation because Apocalypse almost wrecked everything.

                                                               Avengers the Kang Dynasty

Set to be released on December 1, 2028 directed by Destin Daniel Cretton and it will be a direct adaptation of the 2001-02 comic of the same name and have Kang as the main villain. I have read and loved the Kang Dynasty comic that the film is based on and I would write a few plot points from the comic for time's sake. I would write in the plot points in the comic with triumph and understanding and the subplot with Hank Pym battling personifications of his alternate identities in his mind and I would also write in the subplots with the deviants from the comic. I would still have the scene from the comic where Kang nukes Washington from space just to showcase how serious of a threat he is and also have the scene in the comic where he forces Janet Van Dyne to sign articles of surrender. The film would end with Falcon as Captain America defeating Kang in a fist fight the same way Steve Rogers did in the comic and the film would end with the world not only relieved but scared that they came so close to annihilation from the horrific conquest by Kang.

                                                                                   Inhumans 3

Set to be release in June 2029 with Buck AGAIN returning to direct. This film would have the Beyonders from the Infinity storyline as the main villain and it would be the final Inhumans film in this franchise and completing the planned Inhumans trilogy I have for this franchise. The film would have Dr Doom as a side villain basically guiding the Beyonders on how to conquer Earth and the Beyonders would be a very formidable threat for the Inhumans considering how overpowered they were in the comics. The film would end with the Inhumans stopping the invasion of the Beyonders on Earth but the film would end with Doctor Doom killing one of the Beyonders and obtaining their power thus setting up the final film of the MCU which is…

                                                                               Avengers Secret Wars

Set to be released on December 7, 2029 with Whedon, Bezucha, Selim, the Russos and Cretton all returning to direct. The film would have God Emperor Doom as the main villain and I would have the story of the film be a mixture of the 2015-16 Secret Wars comic from Jonathan Hickman and the original 1984-85 comic by Jim Shooter. The film would have Doom put all the heroes of Earth on Battleworld and have them fight their way to the pit. It would be in like the episode of the 90s Spider-Man cartoon where him and the Avengers fight their way to Doom's Kingdom and eventually defeat him and restore the universe by rebooting it. Yes I will end the film with Doctor Strange and other sorcerers using the power of the Beyonders obtained from Doom to prevent an incursion from happening by causing the two universes from both Battleworld and Earth-616 to combine together into one single timeline thus rebooting the entire MCU. This film would not only be the final Avengers film but also the final MCU film and have it ended all with this big Secret Wars storyline. My version of the MCU would last a good 21 years and end in a never before imagined climactic note.

                                                                                   THE END!

And that is going to be my dream MCU plan on what if Marvel never lost the film rights to their characters and my last post of 2022. This was something I wanted to do for a long time coming and now it’s here for all of you to enjoy. Thirsty?

Otto Octavius x reader

Sometimes love can start from the little things, sometimes they start by bumping into someone. This was simply started because a joke about saltwater.

Otto struggled as he tried to untie his robotic tentacles. He sighed as it didn't help much, it might've even made it tighter against him. He narrowed his eyes at two people, Spiderman... he was also known as Peter Parker, but it wasn't the one he knows and a person by the name of Y/N.

He of course was displeased by Peter, but he didn't mind the other's company as much.

“Y/N, I'm gonna need to check up on something, so stay here with Dr. Octopus, okay?” Peter had said.

Dr. Octopus?

DR. OCTOPUS?

Really? Otto thought the child could've just called him by the name... he had already told him his name anyway!

“Oh, sorry about him! He likes to joke, umm... thirsty?” Y/N had asked. Was she actually trying to be nice to him? He wasn't sure very much sure.

“Umm... I suppose so”

“Okay, do want fresh or saltwater?” Y/N tried to joke, but the joke didn't seem to land on him well by the look on his face.

“O-Oh.. sorry- since your an octopus... nevermind. Fresh it is then.”They went into a near by kitchen and started to fill a cup with some fresh water from the tap, she even added a little bit of ice.

Otto actually kind of felt.. bad? He didn't mean to upset them, maybe he should apologize? Y/N soon came back with the water, he had drank the water before starting,

“Sorry-” The doctor had began, “I didn't mean to well... upset you.”

“Don't worry, I wasn't thinking when I made the joke.” Y/N chuckled out. This was strange.. were the doctor and Peter's friend getting along? Were they even…in love? Yes, it wasn't to hard to see. Luckily, once he is back to himself again, they won't have to hide their love from themselves or anyone else.

Eight Arms to Hold You - 13

Pairing: Doc Ock/Original Female Character, Scorpion/Original Female Character, unrequited Parksborn   Rating: Explicit, NO minors!! Summary: A rescue operation has Piper, Otto and Mac facing off against Rhino, Mysterio and Vulture at the top of a skyscraper.  Warning! This is the second to last chapter for this fic! Start from the beginning to avoid major spoilers!

When they arrive, the place seems deserted. The top of the building is half built, with the scaffolding still up in some places. Construction equipment and supplies lay abandoned all over the area. At the same time her spidersense goes off, Scorpion tenses up. 

“Something ain’t right.” 

He’d no sooner finished the statement than the wall next to them exploded. The three of them scatter as Rhino emerges from the dust and rubble. 

“Well, well. It is the little pauk and the two traitors. Come to have your skulls crushed?” 

Scorpion squares up with Rhino, and Piper covers his left side, while Otto takes a place on the right. 

“Where’s Sara?” Mac demands. Rhino merely laughs. 

“Oh, durak, you have fallen right into trap.” 

Piper’s spidersense goes berserk at the same time she’s swept off her feet from behind and rocketed into the air. The Vulture’s claws dig into her shoulders, and she can feel blood soaking her suit. She managed to shoot a web out to some scaffolding, anchoring her for a moment, but she knew Vulture would eventually pull her free. Using the distraction as Vulture begins to curse her out, Piper kicks up. Out of instinct, Vulture grabs her foot, releasing her shoulders. Exactly as planned. She uses her new position to grab a handful of important-looking hoses on his suit and pull them loose. 

Vulture starts squawking as his suit malfunctions, and Piper freefalls back towards the rooftop. When she lands, she’s just in time to watch Rhino backhand Scorpion into a concrete wall, where he slumps to the ground. Electro is nowhere to be seen. Otto on the other hand is facing off against Mysterio, who was no real threat, only a mere annoyance and distraction. Piper can hear him shouting quips and dramatic lines (“Your time has come to an end Doctor Octopus! Quiver now in fear as you meet your demise!”) She decides to not worry about him, Otto can handle a dorky theater nerd. Instead she focuses her attention on Rhino, who was standing menacingly over Scorpion’s motionless form. 

“Yo! Systevich!” Rhino turns just in time to eat a faceful of cinder block. Momentarily stunned, she takes the opportunity to close in and kick him in the face. Then she takes off running in the other direction, with the intention of drawing his attention away from Scorpion. 

“Come and get me you big dumb animal!” She taunts. 

“RAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!” Is the response she gets. Yep, definitely managed to get his attention. Rhino begins to charge, so Piper picks up speed. Thinking fast, she wonders if she can get his momentum going enough that he would run right over the edge of the building. Her spidersense goes off, and she dodges a chunk of concrete wall that Rhino has thrown at her. No, making him run off the building would be a bad idea. He would survive, unharmed, but on the street below? It would be like a small meteor hit. People would get hurt, and it would only piss him off. She needed an alternative. Out of the corner of her eye she spots a coil of chain hooked up to a crane. Thick, heavy duty chain you would attach to say, a wrecking ball. Piper veers off her course, bolting to the chain. It’s like picking up an extremely heavy, dead snake, but she manages to get somewhat of a grip on it. 

As Rhino closes in, she throws the end of the chain and it wraps around his waist. She charges back towards him, feeling insane as she does, and hits the ground in a slide as his hands shoot out to grab her. She pops back up, scaling his massive leg, and hooks the chain around itself. He grabs her and throws her off, and she goes rolling across the rooftop, right to the edge. Rhino is so focused on her he doesn’t even notice what she did, doesn’t even hear the heavy clinking of chain dragging behind him. He runs straight at her seemingly unaware of the lack of ground behind her. 

Just before he hits, Piper backflips off the edge of the building, then shoots two webs out and pulls herself back to the rooftop edge. Rhino drops like a stone, chain trailing behind him before it pulls taut with a sound like the world's deadliest bass chord. The crane above creaks in protest, but holds. There’s the sound of smashing glass below, but Piper is no longer concerned with Rhino. It would take him a while to get back to the roof. She heads back to the main fight. 

When she arrives, she’s met with the sight of Vulture falling out of the sky, screeching all the way, right into Mysterio. They land in a heap on the ground, and Mysterio begins to wail dramatically, cradling his wrist to himself. Otto coils them both up in a tentacle, Vulture is practically foaming at the mouth the way he’s snarling at both Otto and Mysterio. Scorpion is still laying motionless on the ground, and a little thrill of fear goes through Piper at the thought he might not have survived a direct hit from Rhino.

She hurries over to him, rolling him onto his back, where he still gives no reaction. Piper shakes his shoulder vigorously. 

“Mac? Hey, Mac? You need to wake up right now. Don’t make me give you CPR.” Finally a sign of life, Scorpion groans in disgust, batting her hands away. 

“Do not even think about it, Spider.” Besides being a little breathless from a cracked rib or two, he seems to be fine overall, and Piper offers him a hand to help him to his feet. They turn to see Otto stuffing Mysterio and Vulture into the same port-a-potty. Vulture’s wings lay crumpled on the ground behind him, presumably having been ripped off by the actuators. After denting the side so the door won’t open, Otto leaves them to their muffled, cramped argument, and joins Piper and Mac. 

“What a disappointing display.” 

Piper’s blood runs cold. She turns to see Harry, Electro, and Sara, who has been bound in duct tape around her wrists, thighs and wrapped entirely around her head over her mouth. Sara cries out when she sees Mac, but whatever her words were they are completely drowned out by the tape across her mouth. Mac starts forward, but Piper puts out an arm to stop him. 

“A fight isn’t the way to go here.” Piper tells him, using all of her strength to hold him back. 

“That’s where you’re wrong Piper. A fight is exactly what’s going to go down here, just not between me and him.” 

Piper meets Harry’s eyes for the first time, a sneer curling her lip. 

“What are you talking about?” She demands. 

“The fight will be between me and him.” He points at Otto, who gives a surprised laugh. 

“Come now Osborn you can't be serious. You couldn’t hold your own in a fist fight with the average man. You couldn’t handle me.” 

“Oh, but I am incredibly serious. You see, I’ve become so much more than you could ever imagine, and tonight I will prove that I am the superior man.” 

Piper watches in horror as a viscous, black slime gathers around Harry, transforming him into something much bigger, much more frightening, and yet…familiar. Piper can see the way his suit, whatever it was made of, mirrors her own. Had the situation been different, she might’ve felt a little flattered that Harry was so inspired by her design, instead all she felt was revulsion. 

Harry turns to Electro. 

“Keep the other two out of my way, but do not harm Spider-Woman.” 

Electro locks eyes with Scorpion, sparks flickering around him, and raises his hands. But he doesn’t aim in their direction, He aims at Harry. 

There’s a crack like you’d hear during a thunderstorm, and a scream erupts from Harry as the electricity flows in and over him. Piper watches as Sara escapes, disappearing into the construction. Mac starts off after her, only for a thick tendril to shoot out from Harry and wrap around him entirely. They seem to explode from his body, and two more manage to snare Piper and Otto, and another goes after Electro, stopping the light show. 

Harry is now nearly entirely visible, with only the smallest bit of black goo clinging to him. He pulls Electro in close, seething, until they are face to face. 

“Traitor.” Harry hisses out, then using a tendril, flings Electro in the water tower, which bursts open in a shower of sparks and water, drenching him entirely and leaving him powerless.

An enraged Harry turns back to the three of them. 

“Now, back to the matter at hand. I-” 

CLANG. 

Sara stands off to the side, now free from her bonds, holding a thick metal pipe she’d just swung at Harry’s exposed face. Harry stumbles backwards, snarling, and rips the pipe from her hands. He tosses it aside, where it bounces along the floor. 

Clang. Clang. Clang. Clang.

The noise seems to have some effect on Harry. His mouth opens, revealing a row of gigantic, sharp teeth and an inhuman roar emits from him. It’s shrill and somehow monstrous at the same time, making Piper’s hair stand on end. She watches as the slime that clings to him desperately throws itself in the opposite direction, trying to escape the sound. The tendrils surrounding them loosen ever so slightly, enough for Scorpion to wriggle free slightly and sink his stinger into the slime. Piper watches the bright green poison spread through the black goo. 

Harry roars yet again, tendrils tightening around Scorpion, who he hurls into the scaffolding. The scaffolding caves in on itself, burying Mac under a pile of rubble. 

“NO!” Shouts Sara, who then foolishly swings at Harry with her bare fists. He swats her hand aside, and then grabs her around the neck, lifting her right off the ground. Sara’s eyes get big as Harry begins to choke her.

“Let her go!” Piper demands. Harry looks at her, looks at Otto, then back to Piper and gives her a strange sort of smile. The tendril around her loosens significantly. 

“As you wish.” 

And then he tosses Sara off of the roof. 

Piper is moving before she can even think of it, sprinting across the rooftop and following Sara off the edge of the building. She tucks in her arms and dives, and catches Sara at about halfway down. Piper anchors them to the side of the building, and readjusts Sara so she’s hanging off her back. 

“Hold on very tight.”  She advises Sara, whose arms tighten around her neck like a noose. 

Piper shoots out two webs, stretches them as tight as possible, and slingshots the two of them up the side of the building. It’s not as effective as it would be with Piper alone, but it’s enough to get them in range where she can reach the edge of the roof with her webs.  

There have been many times where her spidersense kicked in and it felt like time slowed down. As she and Sara clamber back up onto the roof, Piper gets the same sensation, only now it feels as though time has stopped entirely. 

At first what she saw was confusing. Harry seemed to be embracing Otto, with one hand cupping his face, the other at his back. The two are still engulfed by the black slime. Too late, Piper realizes that Harry’s got one hand around Otto’s throat, and the other….the other hand is…. 

The other hand wraps around the metal connecting the actuators to Otto’s spine. 

Even as she takes off at a dead sprint, she knows that she isn’t going to make it in time.

Someone is screaming.  

Piper thinks it might be her. 

Harry’s fingers dig into Otto’s skin, and with a horrible, wet squelch, pulls the metal away from his body. The actuators give out a metallic screech as they’re separated from their owner. 

Piper tackles Harry at the same moment Otto’s body hits the floor. 

She hurls him backwards, into a stack of metal pipes. The ties on them break as he slams into them, scattering all across the rooftop. 

CLANG. CLANG. CLANG. CLANG. 

The creature surrounding Harry screams in that inhuman way, and begins to writhe about wildly, before finally sloughing off entirely. It squirms away like some eldritch horror, away from the sound, away from Harry, and finally out of sight off the edge of the building. Harry tries to stand, but is immediately blasted back into the pipes by a blast of electricity from Electro, who stands with one arm wrapped protectively around Sara. 

Piper turns her back to the scene, not caring to see more. She rushes over to Otto, gathering him in her arms. Pulling off her mask, she cups his cheek in her hand, turning his head to face her. 

“Otto?” She asks softly. “Can you hear me, my love?” 

There’s no response. 

Piper can hear Sara crying somewhere behind her. 

“Otto? Wake up. Please baby, you have to wake up.” She shakes his shoulder, the way she had done to Scorpion earlier. If she could just get him to wake up, to answer her… 

She ignores the hot blood that soaks her lap. Doesn’t care to acknowledge the large hole where Otto’s spine had been. The blood that trickled from his mouth and nose meant nothing. He would wake up, she just had to try harder. 

A large hand comes down on her shoulder, but she hardly notices. 

“Please, Otto. Please, please wake up.” 

 Something wet and clear falls onto his face, and for a moment Piper thinks it’s begun to rain. Then she realizes it's coming from her. It’s her tears. When had she started crying? Why was she crying? Everything was fine.  

There’s a loud bang, and a roar that signified Rhino’s return. The hand gripping her shoulder squeezes and then Mac’s voice is at her ear. 

“He’s gone Piper, we have to go.” 

Piper shakes her head. 

“No. No we can’t. Not until he wakes up.” 

The rooftop begins to shake as Rhino arrives. 

“Piper…” 

“NO.” 

Mac sighs, wraps one arm around her and lifts her. 

“NO! Get your goddamn hands off me Gargan!” She shoves him away. “I’m not leaving him!” 

Scorpion grabs ahold of her again, wrapping both arms around her and picking her up right off the ground. Piper shouts and struggles, but she doesn’t fight him nearly as hard as she was capable of. Deep down, she knew, it was pointless. 

The next few minutes are a haze, and Piper spends them kicking and screaming and calling Mac Gargan every name in the book. When he finally lets her down, she has no idea where they are. 

“You son of a bitch! I told you to put me down!” She charges him, fists beating his chest, and he just stands there and takes it. It doesn’t take long until Piper is overcome by sobs, and when her legs give out Mac catches her under the arms. 

He sinks to the floor with her, holds her while she shakes and weeps. Somewhere in the back of her mind Piper is aware of how ridiculous they must look together, but finds she doesn’t seem to care at the moment. 

After a while, once she’s cried herself sick, eyes red and puffy, Piper realizes that they’re alone. 

“Sara?” She asks, with a lilt of panic to her voice. But Mac appears unconcerned, and continues stroking her hair. 

“She’s with Electro. She’s safe.” 

“You should be with her.” 

“I’m not leaving you like this Parker, so just forget it.” 

Although perplexed by the compassion and comfort that Scorpion is offering, she decides to accept it. What else was there that she could do, after all?

The weeks that follow seem to blur together. Piper rarely left the house. Mary Jane was discharged from the hospital, and checked on her often. Most days when Ben was off to work, Mary Jane spent the day with Piper. 

At some point, there was a funeral. Piper went, accompanied by Uncle Ben, Mary Jane, Mac and Sara. She stood stiffly at the graveside, not seeing what was in front of her. Refusing to read what the headstone said. There was an older woman there as well whose name Piper didn’t know. She had the same deep brown eyes as Otto. Piper thought about her a lot in the days after. 

Piper spent a lot of the time with headphones jammed over her ears, listening to the police scanner. Or watching the news. She obsessively checked the Superheroes and Villains Sightings blog. Watching for anything, any sign of where Harry might be. 

He had disappeared after the fight on the roof. Not even his father knew where he was, which she knew because Norman had called both her and Mary Jane looking for him. He was officially considered missing in the eyes of the police, but Piper knew better. 

She was going to find him, come hell or high water.

“…and that’s how I became what I am now, who I am now, I suppose is a better way to phrase it. I run from the things that make me happy, because I don’t think I deserve it. I work with that boy, Peter Parker to make things better, yet here I am. Hiding in the shadows and stalking you like a common place weird guy you’d meet at a shady bar.” Otto let out a fast breath, sitting across from Dys in her studio, the one actuator absent-mindedly wrapped around her calf, rubbing the muscle that goes up her leg. A small smile pulled at the corners of her mouth as she listened to him tell her about his life, how he became who he was, the miscalculations, hurting Rosie, his fear of hurting others and his fear of becoming someone who he’s not. “Otto, you’re not who you credit yourself to be. We all accept the love we think we deserve, but some of us deserve more than what we accept.” She took a sip from her now cold coffee sitting next to her by her desk, paying no mind to the coolness of the metal making its way through the material of her leggings. “You’re someone who deserves more than what you accept. You’re actions aren’t excusable, but you’re growing. Deep down in your heart of hearts you’re a good man, a good man who had a very bad thing happen to him and is trying to make amends and put the pieces back together, and I’m proud of you.” She spoke softly, her piercing green gaze starring into his warm pools of espresso colored hues. “At least you admitted you are stalking me.” A small laugh creeped up from her chest, her arm looking down at the Apple Watch on her wrist, taking note of the time. 1 a.m. already. Otto caught her glancing at her watch as he shifted uncomfortably, she had things to do. She was a busy woman, she didn’t have time to stay here and listen to him. “I can go.” Otto hurriedly said, standing to his full height and towering over her. “Otto, no. I don’t want you to go.” She hummed softly to herself, before yelling out a command to her Alexa to turn off the music playing softly in the background, and pushing her glasses to rest on top of her wavy mess of tangles. “Nelly will loose her mind if she finds you here… I want to introduce you to her properly. Us chatting along all night here isn’t the best course of action.” Otto let out an annoyed sigh at the thought of yet another person to get in the way of his and her time together, but he couldn’t be selfish, at least not yet. This was a learning phase, the time to feel out the situation and make his move when she was comfortable. “Where do you go, when you’re not here?” She asked him, tossing a look over her shoulder while she turned off the studio lights and grabbed her laptop and ‘everything’ notebook, and depositing her apron on her chair by her desk.

“Well I… I have a small apartment. A no questions asked sort of deal over by the pier where I once was.” He pushed his glasses up in his messy locks, watching her curved, elegant figure move around her dominion. “Would you like to walk home with me? We could continue our conversation along the way.” Dys slid on her wool jacket, shielding herself from the near winter chill. A small sage green backpack going over her shoulder holding her essentials. “Yes… I would like that. Thank you.” Dylesia couldn’t help but allow a warm smile to cross her features. Down the stairs the two of them went, Dys stopping to pull out her wad of keys and keychains, clicking the lock to her shared studio and making her way down the sidewalk with Otto in step, the imaginary ruts from commutes before seemingly disappear with his presence near her. “I’m from Maryland, originally.” Dylesia began, deciding against her better judgement to bare open her soul to him. It was their mutual agreement after all. “Maryland? How did you end up here?” Otto looked at her quizzically, she acted like she had lived here her whole life, like a natural New Yorker. “It was more on a whim.” She shrugged, pulling her glasses back over her eyes to make out the shapes and colors of the night time hustle. “My parents would love you. Mr. Practical they’d call you. That’s all they’d ever wanted from me. They wanted me to be a doctor, or a lawyer. Someone who was safe and secure. And I tried I really did. I went to a local college and signed up under psychology. But good god that made me want to beat my head in.” Otto chuckled lowly to himself, his hands moving into the pockets of his black dress pants, listening to her while also keeping an eye out for potential threats. “I don’t know if they’d like me too well, little bird. You see what happened to me.”

“Oh you know what I mean Otto.” She sighed and pulled her coat tighter to her body, being mindful of the distance between her and Otto. “I came here with my parents when I was 16, they brought me here for my birthday and we saw Phantom of the Opera on Broadway at the Mystic, and I cried the entire time. I fell in love with the city, and I vowed to myself I would make it back here eventually. Even if it killed me.” Otto gave her an amused glance, he had mentioned to her his love of theatre, having been in a few productions in his earlier years like Fiddler on the Roof. “Phantom of the Opera, huh?” How ironic, a story of a beautiful woman and a love struck monster. “Yeah I’ve loved it, ever since I was little. My Mom signed me up for ballet, so I could be apart of the corps de ballet when I was older. If I ever got married, I wanted my first dance to be All I Ask of You.” Dys sighed softly at the thought of marriage, once something that was within an arms reach, now lifetimes away. Otto smiled down at the smaller woman next to him, his heart warmed by her tenderness. “But…” Dys continued. “They didn’t want me to be artistic. I was kicked out of my house no more than 10 times from 16-18. I was told I wasn’t good enough. So I had enough. I pulled everything, all my savings all my tuition reimbursement and moved here.” Otto’s hand reached out to hers instinctively wanting to touch her, absorb her suffering like a sponge, his pinky finger brushed over the top of her hand, while dark brows knitted together. “You know that’s not true… You’re brilliant. I mean you talk about poetry like my Rosie did, you’re successful, you’re passionate and hard working.” Dys nodded and stopped at her apartment building, looking up at her balcony that he had just stood on not all those weeks ago.

“Thank you, Otto. For listening. I know that’s what you think, but unfortunately I share my families sentiments. And seemingly so does every other person I meet, besides Nelly.” Dys pulled back, withdrawing within herself and wrapping her arms around herself in a quiet hug. “I’ve never had someone love me like you said you loved Rosie. I’ve had similar or what I thought was. I thought I was their star in their earth, but instead I was just a meteor. Their stars all slept in different beds than me.” Otto gritted his teeth and growled under his breath at the thought of whatever scum would make her feel the way she did, his actuators whipping like a cats tail when angry, whirring and grinding at the implications. Kill them. Kill them. Kill them. “No not now.. later.” He muttered under his breath. “We need to be with her now… Dylesia?” Otto turned his attention back to her, the glow of the city warming up her cool complexion, a gloved hand reaching out to gently touch her cheek. “You’re nothing less of a star, my dear.” Dys snorted, eyeing him up carefully. “You can’t be like everyone else, Otto. I can’t have someone walk into my life and play me like a fiddle and then leave when I don’t play the right tunes.” She pulled back from his gentle touch, her hand resting on the door to head up to her apartment. “I really enjoy your company Otto, but you just can’t break my heart… I just have this sinking feeling it will hurt worse if you do it.” The actuators were quick to act, wrapping their way around her and pulling her back to Octavius. He was going to do something he wanted to do all along with her. Dys yelped at the sudden contact, surprised with how strong they were and how well they worked even after all this time. Otto’s arms out stretched, replacing the metallic appendages and pulled Dylesia into his chest. She took in a breath, her much smaller arms resting on either side of his chest, breathing in the smell of leather, cigar smoke and Dior? He even put on cologne for her. God was she touch starved. She didn’t care if Otto was who he said he was, because at this point she was willing to dive head first into him without ever looking back. Otto’s thick fingers ran through her blonde hair, before he leaned down and pressed a kiss to the top of her crown, taking in her smell. Floral and elegant, and the smell of citrus and coffee. She was perfect. “I can’t make promises that I’m going to be perfect, Dylesia. But if I can help it, I’ll follow you to the ends of the earth.” Small droplets formed on the corners of her eyes, her arms snaking around him and holding him with everything in her power, before slowly pulling back and starring up into his dark eyes. Otto chuckled lowly, reaching down and brushing away the tears. “No need to cry, little bird…” Otto spoke so gently, almost like he was afraid to break her. “Would you…” she spoke softly, humming to herself. “Would you like to come upstairs with me?” “I’d love to.” Otto shot back. Dys reached out and took his hand in hers, amazed with how much bigger his was and how it encapsulated hers, gently tugging him behind her and up into her home.

The door swung to life as the golden keys found their mark, Dys being the polite house guest offering him to go in first. Otto begrudgingly accepted, taking a step in and being greeted by the little black void who took favor of him last time. “Well hello there, Lazarus.” Otto watched him amusingly, gently scooping up the cat and allowing him to boop at his chin. Dys smiled and turned and locked the door behind her, scratching at her companions back side before making her way to the kitchen. “Would you like some coffee?” She asked, struggling to reach the spare mugs above her coffee pot. “I’d love some.” Otto called back to her, an actuator going to her aid and grabbing two mugs for her and handing them to her. “Thank you..” she spoke softly fingers brushing the metal gently. You’re welcome. You’re welcome. You’re welcome. “They said you’re welcome.” Dys watched as the actuator retracted back to him, listening to coffee drip in the pot. “They understand me?” She watched as the actuators retracted back to him. “Yes.. They are sentient.” He gently let down Lazarus on the couch, smirking as the cat pea at his actuators, the metallic limbs acting offended that this creature would be playing with THEM. “They have names, too.” “Oh do they?” Dylesia perked up, pouring his coffee into a mug with Van Gogh’s ‘Starry Night’ on it, and hers in a ‘My Kids Have Fur.’ Mug. “Milk or sugar?” “No thank you.” Otto gently wraps his hands around the warm mug, examining it closely. “Larry, Harry, Flo, and Mo.” as he spoke their names each actuator whirred with its name so Dys knew which one was which. “You know you drink a lot of coffee, little bird.” “Do I dare disturb the universe? In a minute there is time. For decisions and revisions which a minute will reverse. For I have known them all already, known them all; have known the mornings, evenings and afternoons. I have measured out my life with coffee spoons.” Dys recited fluently, glancing at him from over the top of her cup. “Elliot?” Otto looked at her in amazement, moving to take a seat on her couch. “Correct. The Lovestory of J. Alfred Prufrock. One of my favorites.” She hummed and sat next to him, setting her cup down on her table. “Why didn’t you go to school for literature?” Otto asked, his eyes glancing around her home curiously. A piano in the far corners, artwork throughout the walls, plants in every corner… She wasn’t a far cry from his Rosie. So familiar and yet so different. Rosie loved T.S. Elliot. “I didn’t have a passion for it. My art teacher taught me that if I didn’t have a passion for it, I best not do it at all.”

Dylesia ran her fingers through her blonde hair, yawning and stretching her arms up above her, showing her delicate midsection. Otto watched her intently, wanting to desperately to run his fingers up her sides, watching her shiver and gasp below him. Otto was caught up in his fantasies that he didn’t even realize that she was talking to him. “Otto?” Dys asked softly, a small smile pulling at the corners of her mouth in amusement. “Apologies my dear…” Otto cleared his throat and shifted uncomfortably in his seat, quickly changing the subject. “Piano?” “Yes, a piano.” Dylesia laughed and leaned over the edge of her couch. “My Grandma taught me, that was her piano.” “My, my little one you sure are well rounded.” “Well so are you, Doctor.” Dylesia shot back playfully, her eyes tracing the outline of his body. Good god did he have an effect on her. “Don’t fall in love with an artist, Otto. If you break they’re heart you’ll forever be encapsulated in their art.” Her green gaze met his, and for a moment she was convinced her world stopped right then in there. He had this effect, when he was in the room nothing was more important than him. Another yawn escaped her lips as she glanced up at the clock, taking note of the time. “You should get some rest, my dear.” Otto spoke softly, noticing how fatigued his little bird really was. She was so fragile, so delicate. “I know… You can stay if you want.” She turned and faced him again, leaning over to trace small circles on the top of his gloved hand. “I will, I promise. Go to bed, little one.” Otto leaned over and pressed a small kiss to her forehead, watching her almost melt into a puddle right then in there. “You can take my bed, Otto. You’re bigger.” “Absolutely not.” He shot back at her defensively, by no way was he going to take over her space when she needed the rest. “But you’re a guest.” She rubbed her eyes and stood, slowly padding to her bedroom. “I’ll take the couch, my dear. Don’t worry about me.” Dys huffed at him, knowing fully well she wasn’t going to win this battle. “Good night, Otto.” God the way she spoke his name made him feel feral. “Good night, little bird.” Otto spoke softly to her watching her descend into her bedroom and disappear. Lazarus moving to the spot where she was next to Otto. “Well, Laz… I have a feeling me and you won’t get much rest tonight.” The cat made a small little chirping noise in response. Otto didn’t rest that night, he leaned back on the couch and kept a watchful eye on her bedroom. Nothing was going to hurt her, as long as she was with him, she would be safe.

A/N: Hi there!! This series will basically be both a Doc Ock x OC fic and the origin story for my Spider-Man villain OC! “Do I feel happy in life? Um.. Let’s see. Well, I do hope I’m finding happiness. For me, if I can realise certain things in my work, I come the closest to being happy and I can say that also about my life. It only happens in moments, sometimes when I'm working and I’ll be able to fulfill a project successfully and then I think I'm the happiest. While I find it very stimulating to keep studying and working, I'm not just generally happy. If I'm generally anything I'd say I’m generally miserable, hehe!”

The white mice stared up curiously at Kali as she spoke to them in a tranquil tone. Of course, they said nothing back. She liked to pretend that they did though.

“.... I don't know.” She sighed.

Kali tended to work with animals more than people now ever since being promoted to head scientist. This was both a blessing and a curse however. She loved the animals dearly and valued them as lab partners, but nothing could beat real human interaction. While she was forever grateful to be given her position after years of hard work, she wished her boss would be a little more kind. Just because she has the brain power to complete every project he throws at her doesn't mean she should be doing it all alone. But she guessed this was his way of keeping her on her toes.

She lifted one of the mice up to her shoulder and rewarded it with a small piece of an apple that she had been eating, then made sure to give the others in the glass terrarium a few slices to share as well. Nobody went hungry in Dr. Kavanah's lab.

With her test subjects fed, she picked up the cage and walked to return them with the other animals. Within a few minutes Kali was back at her lab.

Upon entering, she was surprised to see her boss standing in the middle of the room waiting for her to return. Norman Osborn, CEO of Oscorp. Wearing a dark green suit so clean that it looked as though it was bought that morning, he stood tall and proud while opening a briefcase up on one of the tables.

"Good news, Kali. I have a new project to keep you busy." He handed her a document which she immediately opened with glee and began speed-reading the first page.

"Thank you, sir! What did you have in mind?"

"I’ve just struck up a deal with a veterinary pharmaceutical company. I was hoping you can create a sort of.. animal steroid for me. All of the effects they want to see are written down for you to go over later.”

Kali closed the documents and sat them down on the closest work table, sensing that that wasn’t all Norman had to say. “Of course, sir. I’ll begin as soon as possible.”

“There is one more thing you must know about this project. The company has requested that we use some benign radioactive ingredients in the formula. Seeing as how your specialty is biochemistry, I’ve hired you a lab partner that can help you with the more sensitive materials you'll be handling."

Turning around to face the entrance, Norman then half-shouted, "Come on in."

Suddenly all of Kali's attention was on the new company entering the lab. In walked Dr. Otto Octavius, head scientist at the U.S Atomic Research Center. She felt her heart get caught in her throat as he came right up to her and offered his hand with a smile.

"Good evening, Dr. Kavanah. It's a pleasure to be working with you."

"Oh, it is an honor, Dr. Octavius! I've read nearly all of your articles and interviews."

"Please, we're going to be working together for quite a while. Just call me Otto."

"Yes, sir! I-I mean Otto.. " After realizing she was still shaking his hand, she awkwardly let go, earning a quiet chuckle from him.

"Well, now that I have you two geniuses together I should be off. Good luck." With that, Osborn was out the door before anyone could respond.

"Please, make yourself at home! The office and bathroom are that way," Kali pointed to the door and window at the far right of the laboratory.

"Ah, thank you, dear. I'll be back shortly."

Otto walked off into the office and shut the door behind him, though she couldn't see what he was doing as the window had it's blinds drawn.

Kali stood alone in the middle of the lab, still trying to process everything that was happening. She couldn't believe it. Otto Octavius himself was going to be working with her, her of all people! She had seen him in person before but only from afar at a science convention a few years ago. At that time he was first introducing the world to the concept of his masterpiece, the four-armed apparatus that he used for handling nuclear material. He had since finished it but she had only seen it in pictures. She wondered for a moment if he was going to be bringing it to her lab, and the excitement at the idea forced a little squeal out of her.

Soon enough Dr. Octavius finally exited the office holding a magazine and chuckling to himself. Once he was back in front of Kali, he showed the front cover of it to her to reveal an image of himself standing proudly in front of a mechanical arm displayed on the table behind him. Kali's cheeks burned with embarrassment.

"I see you weren't lying about being a fan. I'm guessing you may know me better as 'Doctor Octopus' as my coworkers have grown fond of calling me."

"No, sir. I believe name calling like that is a petty tactic used by the weak-minded to undermine those they don't understand."

Otto smiled wider at her words.

"Y'know, I've done my own fair share of reading about you as well. Your work is nothing short of brilliance."

Kali perked up a bit at his compliment, her cheeks burning for a different reason now. "Really?"

"Of course! I've been meaning to get in touch with you even before Osborn hired me. Seeing as how we have some free time at the moment, I'd like to get to know you better if that's alright? We are lab partners now after all."

He pulled up two chairs, sitting down in one and offering the other one to her. Kali sat down across from him with an awkward smile and thanked him.

"Um, well… I don't know what to say, hehe. I suppose you can ask me anything you're curious about!"

Kali couldn't remember the last time she had sat down with someone and talked back and forth for who knows how long, laughing and simply enjoying each other's presence. Otto asked her many questions about herself, though none too personal. Everything he wanted to know about her seemed to be trivial, things such as 'how do you like your tea?' and 'do you have any pets?'. Things Kali didn't think anyone would ever care to know about her. And yet here he was, wanting to know and seeming fully invested as she spoke about herself.

Hours passed and eventually Otto checked his watch, realizing that it was time to go home. Kali was genuinely surprised, as it only felt like minutes had gone by. As they said their goodbyes for the night, her world seemed to fade back to grey as he left the laboratory. But knowing she would see him again the next day brought a toothy smile back to her face. Moving into the office, she fell back onto the couch on the right side of the room and let out a joyous sigh. Rats may have been adorable companions, but they couldn't ask you how your day was or flash you a genuine, debonair smile like Otto could.

Her heart swelled within her chest as she spent the rest of the night thinking about her new friend.
