Oshi No Ko's English dub makes me want to go back in time to 2015 and find the person who invented Simulcasting so I can force them to listen to current dubs and make them realise what they have wrought.
#dubs these days come in two varieties:#woke#and lazy#Oshi No Ko's dub is the epitome of lazy#literally just copy pasted the subtitles without regard to whether or not it sounds natural in English#everything coming out of the characters mouths just sounds google translate-esque#where's the guy who invented simulcasting#TAKE ME TO THE SON OF A BITCH#I was literally mentally correcting the script as the characters were speaking THAT IS A BAD SIGN
