This week's Disney hotel is the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel. The outfit for this week takes inspiration from the hotel's overall aesthetic and its character-themed rooms, such as the Alice in Wonderland and Beauty and the Beast rooms. Since I have a fondness for both of these films, the outfit is designed to reflect the main characters from each movie.

Lady Gaga is back in the public eye with a vengeance. Ahead of her MTV Unplugged performance this Friday, the songstress/actress has been spotted already three times in different looks in New York City!

Everything is styled by Sandra Amador and Tom Eerebout.

En route to rehearsals with Tony, our girl rocked the black & white guipure flower embroidered puff sleeve midi dress with structured interfacing front ruffle and slit tie keyhole from Giuseppe di Morabito’s Spring/Summer 2021 collection.

Her retro-inspired black acetate acentuated cat-eye sunnies are the Pamela by Illesteva ($220).

Next, she sported her Edward Avedis Clara eternity style, shared prong diamond band with 2mm diamonds hand set in 18kt rose-gold ($1,800).

Boston-founded handbags brand Mark Cross also makes a return to Gaga’s closet!

She opted for the 1845 woven mini trunk ($2,490) which is a replica of an original Mark Cross design from 1904! This top handle box bag boasts a push lock closure and an adjustable chain and leather crossbody strap.

With 2/3 of the votes, today’s outfit was built around this Alessandra Rich dress. This dress gave me strong 80s vibes. It’s probably because of the slightly puffy shoulders, the bright pink colour and that flower at the waist. I could definitely see Rose or Blanche wearing it (I’ve been watching a lot of Golden Girls lately).

So, I decided to get inspired by the 80s, but with a modern twist. The designer paired that dress with black pumps from her own collection, so I decided to do the same but with shoes that had some metallic elements to them to make it less harsh and a bit less 80s. Then, the earrings. When I saw those Oscar de la Renta earrings, I was sold. They are not vintage, but they would not look out of place in the 80s, just like the dress. I felt the hair bow also added to that modern 80s vibe. Finally, I knew the clutch had to go with both the dress and the accessories, so I opted for this Olympia Le-Tan clutch which has a black background but the details are mostly in pink and purple hues.

Add a perm, and you’ve got yourself a perfect 80s look. You could either attend some benefit organized by the Golden Girls or be accused of murder by Jessica Fletcher.
