Destiny

So this will very much be bias based on my true actual interest in bungie content since Halo days. 

Destiny's story is not gripping, yes true, bungie is very good at creating universes, making rules, establishing factions. However its only good for war based content, but its space war, its a little cooler. The probably is they are horrible about portraying it in the story of their games. Anyone who enjoy'd halo's story, re-read it on a wiki. Destiny is very similar in that.

Now I hear a lot of 'it's just a shooter lame' , now see yeah you're right its a shooter, but its a shooter with an integrated universe. Its also something very rare (if you are this type of person), it's a Social Shooter. There aren't too many games in this self made genre. Left 4 dead would be one, borderlands 2 is a big one. These are shooters not based on K/D ratings, but based on experiencing missions alongside others in the games story. 

Halo was this for me, Halo is what I came home to everyday after school, spend 8-11 hours everyday on it. Now you might obviously think I was playing SLAYER or TEAM DEATHMATCH all those hours, I wasn't, I never really touched that part. I was playing with my friends in custom games and eventually started spending days and days in forge mode (build mode) building maps, and chatting with my buddies, one whom I consider my closest friend and visited since meeting them on Halo. This created a huge positive experience in the social aspect of gaming that lead me to create such a group as VisNomadic.

Bungie is good at that, created platforms to experience stories and creating your own, no other shooters do that, not even L4D or Borderlands 2. Destiny achieves this from the locations like 'the tower' where you can literally hang out and side around like freakin' second life, and the ability to just play the open world modes. So the point is people need to see Destiny as they see Borderlands 2 rather than Last of Us. No it's story isn't good, I agree and hope on the next one they do better, but for those who play games with others, thats a thing you enjoy doing, Destiny will surely provide hours upon hours of entertainment.

I was walking Thor around the lake by my apartment, which is currently covered with a thin layer of fog, and I heard a faint splashing sound... I turned around, and saw nothing but a black line moving through the foggy surface of the water. Then, when I was in the courtyard, I saw a lump of black moving up to the bushes near the lake. 

Either I saw a gator and a raccoon or MY LAKE IS FILLED WITH MUTANT SWAMP CREATURES AND WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE
