Wallace headcanons?

OOC: ooo, Headcanon time

Keep in mind these are just My Own headcanons, if you feel differently then you can share yours too! Just don’t come after me for nothing.

My Wallace Wells Headcanons

He had a really heavy emo phase in Highschool. He doesn’t talk about it because 1) It’s embarrassing but 2) it wasn’t a good time for him

He’s not Actually Canadian. He moved away from his own family and changed his name. He’s really American. He went through the last name Weldon before settling with Wells

He went to highschool with Ramona, Todd and Lucas Lee, but hardly remembers Any Of Them. He tried to block out everything from his past after he moved. They didn’t recognize him because he changed so much.

He comes from a big family, but would rather not talk about Any Of Them.

Wallace has very bad nightmares, mainly Zombie related ones. But he usually brushes it off and listens to Scott’s dreams instead ( @mybrainissquishy for this one)

His favorite fruit are Oranges, he’ll tell you it tastes better in alcohol but really, he used to eat Oranges with his old highschool friends, when they didn’t want to head back home

He belongs to his own band that he hasn’t told Scott about:

The main Wallace, Wallace Wells, is their lead singers

It consists of guitarist “Straight Wallace” (who me and my boyfriend named Danny James on a whim)

“Girl Wallace” or Wallyssa Wendor, (boyfriend came up with the first name) is their drummer. She wears a black wig to hid her pink hair. She’s also a Lesbian

Todd Ingram on Bass, who they’ve sort’ve dubbed “Vegan Wallace”. He was out of a band after he and Envy split, and wanted to join Wallace’s. They needed a Bassist so he said fuck it. He also wears a wig

Because I am a sucker for one sided Scollace, most of Wallace’s songs were based on his own feelings for Scott, that’s why he didn’t want Scott to know about it.

Wallace originally sparked with Scott, sometime in College after a party. Since Scott didn’t remember any sparks, or anything they did that night, Wallace gave up on Sparks. Thinking they were overrated anyways

He needs Glasses. Like Bad. For his Highschool years, he got into a few fights because people thought he was glaring at them. He was actually squinting.

He later wears contacts when he gets into college, and then just wears glasses in his thirties

I’m glad the creators want to emphasize thatCloud’s “badass, silent dude” personality was just a fake persona he created. I think a lot of fans had the misconception that was his true personality all along.

Nomura: “While Cloud may look this way, he was a dork. I believe those of you who played the the original would understand what I mean by saying he’s a dorky character.”

I totally agree. I think a lot of people aren’t good at picking up subtle characterization, especially since the original game didn’t have advanced cutscenes or voice acting. Cloud always seemed like a dork to me after I learned he really had dissociative identity disorder and his whole SOLDIER thing was just a persona--an alter. Barret knew it, and made fun of him. So many people complained that Cloud was OOC in Advent Children and I remember feeling confused because I really didn’t think he was? He was depressed, but it seemed realistic after everything he’d been through.

“In severe cases of mental splitting when the extreme pain drives that person into disassociation, at the moment the person disassociates from their body, the soul-psyche manifest coping mechanisms to survive. To disassociate from the painful trauma felt in the body, the soul and mind will split into sub personalities, or create alternate identities. These are called alters.”

While we’re on the topic of Cloud’s fake badass silent persona, the way Tifa repairs Cloud’s fractured mind in FFVII always reminded me of the power of waking in KH. I’m sure FFVII was the precursor to this idea. Cloud developed his badass persona when he watched Zack get murdered right in front of him. He dissociated and took on a tough guy alter in order to cope.

Sora turned around. Empty husks? Is he saying they’re going to break them with sorrow and put another heart into them…? Or did they already do it?

“Translation—they were gonna turn all the members into Xehanort.”

“Make more Xehanorts?” You’re hollowing out people’s hearts to put Xehanort’s inside them?!

In order to turn people into Xehanorts, they had to break the person’s psyche with pain. That way, the Xehanort “alter” can take over the body. I’m sure that’s what the mind control experiments were about.

You could say Cloud’s heart was in the Realm of Sleep, like Ventus’s was when he first met Terra and Aqua. He was unable to talk and he was not really aware of his surroundings. Cloud’s mind was in pieces and Tifa had to “dive” inside his psyche to repair him and restore him to completeness.

KH3′s tagline was “face your fears”. When I write my KH3 rewrite fic, I wanna give each of the Seven Guardians one of these segments to fully explore their fractured psyche. A time for them to face their insecurities and fears, and actually show them being healed. That’s THE biggest thing I think KH3 was missing. Before waking up, each character needed a Tifa to help them piece themselves together. Riku got swallowed by the Demon Tower in the beginning. I think the Demon Tower was supposed to be something that causes you to be trapped in your worst nightmare. Then he’d have to face his fears with the help of Mickey. His “other self”. He’d have to confront all his insecurities and his guilt over feeling like it was his fault Destiny Island got destroyed.

Mickey got swallowed by the Demon Tower later on. Then he had to deal with his guilt over feeling like he failed Aqua and left her to rot in the Dark Realm. I think the Dark Aqua boss fight was probably originally supposed to be part of Mickey’s nightmare that Riku was trying to wake him from. All the things she said sounded like a reflection of Mickey’s worst fears. And that darkness bubble thing looked like the same thing Sora was trapped in at the end of KH3D, when he was in the nightmare.

I think ALL the main characters, including Sora, were supposed to get a segment like that to give their arcs closure. Sora would have to dive into the abyss at the beach (the KH equivalent of the Lifestream that Cloud fell into). That beach is basically the collective unconscious. All of Sora’s sleeping memories (of Castle Oblivion/Namine, Roxas, and Xion) would have to be confronted. And after that, he’d have to help Aqua face her worst feelings, which was that she failed to save Ven and Terra.

The whole opening of 0.2 foreshadowed the part where Sora would wake Aqua up. Sora didn’t really connect with her heart in KH3 or help her face her fears, though. The whole saving Aqua thing felt so rushed. I think higher ups at either Square or Disney thought that a AAA game like KH3 shouldn’t “waste” so much time with exploring the characters’ psyches and the story needed to move at a faster pace. But we missed out on so much.

I’m sure Ven was supposed to face his fears of feeling like he failed Terra. Lea would have to face his fear that he abandoned Isa for his new best friends and forgot all about him. He’d have a lot of guilt over that and he’d have to face a Nightmare Saix which would be the manifestation of all his worst fears. Honestly, I’m sure the FFVII Remake will do a better job demonstrating the power of waking than KH3. Which is sad.

Back to Cloud. In Crisis Core, you see a shy insecure kid who can’t even face Tifa. That’s the real Cloud. The part of himself he can’t accept.

Cloud never even really wanted to be a SOLDIER for its own sake.

He just wanted to accomplish something. He was lonely and depressed and thought a man was “supposed to be” a soldier. He just wanted to be noticed by Tifa. And Tifa didn’t know this. She genuinely thought Cloud was just a typical boy who wanted to leave home so he could fight in the war.

She took care of him during his time of weakness. And the whole point of FFVII was that Cloud was “weak”. I liked that he wasn’t the generic badass hero who simply “won” the girl by being strong and cool. And it made me like Tifa, too. At first, she wanted her and Cloud to fulfill the stereotypical heterosexual relationship roles. She told Cloud that when she was in trouble, her hero would come rescue her. Then Tifa got to know the real Cloud.

He loved her. But he wasn’t really that heroic. Even his mom thought he needed a girlfriend that would take care of him. But Tifa accepted him anyways, even when he didn’t live up to her knight in shining armor fantasy. She got her relationship with him, with all its flaws. She was HIS hero, actually. I liked that because FFVII was really the first game I ever played where the main couple had what I thought was genuine intimacy instead of simply the girl being the “prize”. And I LOVE FFVII. After he is pieced back together, Cloud acts completely differently. He isn’t cocky or cool. He seemed humble, quiet, and not so much a natural “leader” type.

Zack was the badass everyone thought Cloud was. He took care of Cloud after they were experimented on and Cloud was broken. I cannot help but think that Lea and Isa’s past was originally similar to theirs after being experimented on. Crisis Core was an inspiration for me in imagining their past. Lea is similar to Zack. Cheerful, confident, resilient, and heroic. Very compassionate, too. The way he talked to Cloud even when he was “broken” was very sweet. And I think Isa was similar to Cloud who is more sensitive, vulnerable, and needy. Cloud mentally fractured after watching Zack die in front of him. I wanted to write something similar with Lea and Isa. Isa mentally shatters because he witnessed Lea lose his heart. :)

I have gushed on about Multimuses, let’s go to some OCs that I think deserve love! Honestly, a person making an OC just makes me so amazed. To be able to create your own character, integrate it into the lore, && think of original ways for them to interact with others just mesmerizes me so much. Not to mention the amount of detail && love put into their design, speech-patterns && descriptions just makes me so happy!

@obliterus SHION!!! I ADORE Shion so much you cannot understand. Not only that but their multi-muse too (narrationis) also has such amazing portrayals that they’re definitely up there for being a quality multimuse! Shion is so adorable && seeing him on my dash just makes me hella happy because he has this kind of chill-good feel whenever I read some of the replies. Quality quality right there.

@veroxins I’ve said this before && I will continue saying this again. Rayden has NEVER failed to amaze me with how wonderful Daiten’s written! You can really feel the anguish and emotion poured during scenes of turmoil but at the same time also feel happy whenever she’s happy because damn it, Daiten deserves happiness L Amazing OC, 10/10 quality, definitely never regretting following them!

@cupids-flight Honestly if you don’t follow Luke && his Maeda then I don’t know what in the world you’re doing. 1) Maeda is such a well-written OC && I love reading his dialogue so much since he has this air of posh to him that I find really cute && sophisticated, but at the same time he’s such a bean like a pink bean. 2) Maeda has probably been there through Todo’s 3 am thoughts at least 96% of the time. 3) Luke is just a pleasant to talk to IC && OOC !! Seriously, if you don’t follow this blog, I dunno what to tell ya.

@realoni LET’S TALK ABOUT SATAN SHALL WE? While I absolutely love Satan’s muses like Mirio && Bakugo, LET ME JUST SAY that Touma is so good? Have you seen how detailed the characterization is? && THE FACE CLAIM – uGH so GOOD. I will forever admire Satan’s capabilities to just write stellar muses, but as for OCs, Touma really does justify the FEAR that he embodies && GAAHH. Also, this && @softesthero! My favorite muse(s) of theirs and why: Oh my god don’t even get me started! I adore your Psyche. Like, listen. There had been interpretations of Psyche that I had seen before that really exaggerated how cute/silly/naive he is but... you literally keep a nice balance of him having his moments of being smart and then his moments of being a little silly and I honestly really like it. It’s pretty refreshing to see a Psyche that has his moments of smart, especially since you have him as a hacker like he has to be pretty smart in knowing what to do and then of course the moments of childish-curiosity and wonderment. It’s a very good and wonderful take on Psyche. My favorite interaction/thread of theirs: I actually love the interactions Zuo and Psyche have LOL IT’S LITERALLY THE SWEETEST THING I HAVE EVER WRITTEN LIKE I NEVER THOUGHT I’D CRY OVER FLUFF BUT I DID AND I CAN’T BELIEVE I DID. Then Iza and Psyche too...please....it’s also really sweet. I can’t tell you if I perfer Zuo/Psyche or Iza/Psyche tbh LOL I JUST LOVE BOTH...but listen...Zuo/Psyche/Iza interactions though.... I think that would be fun as hell poor Psyche being caught in the middle though  My thoughts on their unique characterization/interpretation of their muse(s): God please, you bless me. I was actually really surprised when we first started writing together or seeing the threads/asks you would get and how Psyche responded because I always thought that: ‘it’s psyche it’s probably gonna be really childish and naive’ and like..no... it wasn’t.. Like I never thought of Psyche having a fear of being alone or being abandoned until you have showed me the light and changed how I see and think of Psyche. My thoughts on their writing style as a whole: You’re writing is literally so fitting for someone like Psyche honestly?? Like, It’s hard for me to explain but when I read it I just. “This is psyche energy.” Especially when it comes to the words you use. It honestly gets me so excited to respond to you when I get a reply or literally anything from you and it just gets me laughing when something is suppose to be cute or funny. I can’t even lie to you, the reply to Iza made me just: “THATS SO FUCKING CUTE HE’S WATCHING IZA’S TAIL SWAY AAAA” God save me. Situation(s)/Plot(s) I’d love to see their muse(s) in: Oooh.... A situation I want to see Psyche in? I think I’d want to see a situation where Psyche actually gets in trouble with the law and hacking. Like, I know he’s a white hat hacker (if i remember right) but I think even they could get in trouble too. Especially, since Psyche’s morals are more grey than anything I could see him doing some black-hat hacking and getting caught. The sweetest sweetheart ever please love them.  A Memorable OOC Interaction Of Ours: Oh gosh when we frist started talking. Just, how we both were screaming lmfao because we were both super excite. I don’t even know what made you want to follow me LOL Why Others Should RP With Them: You should rp with them because, uhm....their Psyche is a literal blessing and a character that could interact with just about anyone How Others Should Approach Them: Honestly? ooc; there’s always something so charming about hearing people read my stuff like that! i kinda forget sometimes that my posts are public, and not just between me and the person i’m writing with— i can be scatterbrained, so it’s incredibly flattering to not only hear that people read my posts, but like them! especially from someone who has also written sonic!! aaa such high praise, thank you so much!

sonic’s writing in the recent games has been…odd. things get lost in translation, sonic team seems to lose their steam, ect. it’s disheartening, but i’m glad that you guys like the direction i take it all in here. thank you, very much ♥♥. (also i would love to interact sometime! writing with squids is much better than crying over them in two hours of splat zones /sobs.)

AAAA THANK YOU I'm so glad that you like the short dialogues and my potrayal for them!! Been trying to make Garou and Badd sounds IC enough because I tend to write them too OOC so I'm very happy that you thought it's good aaaah tysm 😭🙏💗💘💕

And yess same! 😆🙌 Ambiguous open ending sounds more interesting, because that way we can have unlimited possible endings as many as possible 👀✨

So what I've got in my mind about that Garou&Badd's dialogue endings are basically like these:

-Silly dumb route: I had older headcanon that they likes to chat random topics that often escalated into debate or making some stupid conspiracy theories ALL. NIGHT. LONG, lmao! Usually it was Garou who spout some random nonsenses first that Badd couldn't help but giving him responses, but occasionally Badd also suddenly bringing up some intriguing topics that pulling Garou's interest, lol! Let them being dumbass boyfriends who just likes to share silly interests with eachother 😆

-Heartwarming happy route: Y'know Badd is secretly a hopeless romantic who loves lovely idea of having soulmates that always find eachother no matter what? He was thinking that despite his first meeting moment with Garou wasn't perfect like what he imagined before (being enemies and not so lovey-dovey), but he loves Garou so much and sure that the wolfboy is his fated soulmate. And he wanted to know if Garou shared the same thought as him.. In which Garou reciprocated him, hence the sweet promise between them 😚

-Hurt/comfort route: I mentioned before that Badd's mom was the one who tell him about the soulmate concept, right? Badd missed his mom that night that's why he brings up the topic to Garou. He wasn't sure if soulmates are real or not. If the concept is real, he wanted to make sure Garou wont forget him in the next life. But ithe concept isn't real, he still wanted to be with Garou forever, spending time and living their life as best as they could.. :"") And Garou was here to comfort Badd and tried to get him sleeping soon, because they must go to work in the morning lol! 😂

-Angsty/sad route: This is actually the original ending before I scrapped off because I wasn't satisfied by it, lol. The dialogue was made when I was in my not-so-good days, and it was supposed to have one more line in the ending of their dialogues, something like "On the next morning, the rescue team found Garou and Badd died on eachother's arms" 😢💔

So the backstory, they both just finished their mission together, Badd was unfortunately fatally wounded before Garou could shielded him and he went berserk. Then to accompany Badd's last moment, Garou craddled him in his arms while exchanging convos just like they usually do when sleeping together. As Badd went to eternal sleep, Garou lost his will to live and died together with him. Hopefully Badd's story is true so they could meet eachother again. It was winter and the location was kinda difficult to reach, so the rescue team were too late to save them.

I scrapped off this idea because beside it was too sad, the plot was basically just like my Reincarnated Demon/Angel AU where Badd died, Garou went berserk and died too, before both get reincarnated as demon/angel (enemies again). Thus I decided to make it open ending with happier-leaning possibilities like on above examples 😅

BUT! After I read your interpretation in your tags: #so the second time I read it I thought maybe Badd has memories from a past life?? #possibly multiple liftetimes :’) #and every time garou forgets #but of course they find each other again #and badd tries to make sure he remembers this time around 😭

YASS THIS IS IT! Your idea is BRILLIANT, I personally love this way!! 👀😳👌💖🌟✨ Y'know I usually write stories where they both still can obtaining happy ending together despite experiencing angsty stuff throughout the story. And your interpretation is perfect for that situation! 😚👍

Tbh it reminds me of Madoka Magica story, where one of the protags has a controlling-time magic power which allowed her to go back in the past, just so she could save her bestfriend (or love interest). Even they have shared a promise that they wont forget eachother no matter what, which unfortunately the protags' bestfriend forget her everytime they meet again in different timelines. The anime looked so cute but actually very depressing (has nice OST and heart-touching sweet ending, though!).

But I believe despite being reborn, meeting again, then separated again by death, Garou and Badd still have the best happy life in each lifetimes! And even though Garou always ended up forgets about their past life, he never fails to find Badd just like what they have promised before, aww.. 😍😚💕 It gives Badd hopes that at least in the deepest Garou's mind, he never actually forgets their vow. It's like, the vow has already stamped on Garou's soul :"")💕

So in the end, Garou and Badd will always find happiness in their perfectly-imperfect life together as destined soulmates. They deserved happy ending throughout the whole hardship 👍💖💝

And for the hurt/comfort one asjdkslsk *clutches chest* Badd probably struggles with just coming out and saying he’s missing his mom, but surely Garou’s realized by now how important family is to Badd, and he knows to give him all his love and comfort whenever he mentions her awww 🥺

Ack I definitely feel ya on the angst 💔 I too have a lot of scrapped angsty fics T~T in a weird way, it’s therapeutic though.
