This is the first time I've ever sort of wanted to give up on a project
#I wanna go back to just writing this fic for myself#Like. I love writing it and am still writing it!#But it feels like people just aren't on board with it so what's the point of posting it#I do appreciate and adore the love it's gotten#But it feels like it isn't taking off and that even the few people who checked it out#Might now be kinda meh about it FJKDJDWKW#So I could always just. Stop updating and link those few people the doc#Idk#Hmm#Like whether I like it or not lack of engagement does make me reluctant to continue#Obviously I don't want people to check something out if they don't care about it#I'm not saying you have to care about it!#But I am saying i might be happier just keeping it private and sharing it with people who ask#Instead of having a public visual reminder of how it didn't do so well lmao#Idk social media and validation and shit are toxic anyway!! Id rather prevent myself from turning stupid about it again#It's hard for me to put into words without coming off as guilt trippy or something so I don't mean that at ALL#And I don't want people to feel like their feedback didn't matter either#It just feels tiring to sink effort into things and I have a Lot going on in my life atn#Atm#Not editing that tag fjekfjkd#It is kind of a bummer though because there are a few people who I thought would be interested in it#Who just absolutely have not been. So I feel like a bit of a fool and kinda just wanna hide it away dkjskcd
