i always wondered how noelle received psych treatment bc the overruling instinct to curl in on herself / suppress herself out of disgust for herself / take up as little space as possible in any given situation (even when she is actively working towards recovery + has a rudimentary desire to live) is a core facet of her character so it is hard to envision her reaching out for help out of her own volition .. but looking back i think a lot of the attitude / language / framing around echidna (as an extended metaphor for her eating disorder) recalls involuntary hospitalisation .. not only echidna being forced her onto her (as a burden in need of remedy + an entity that when cannot be remedied can only become an issue the public is under duty to wrangle / eliminate) but like .. the cure to her predicament becoming the focus + priority over her actual wellbeing .. being placated + isolated as “necessity” + treated w tongs + regarded not as the person but simply as the problem

um uhh worm? Noelle, as a living organism, is composed of cells, and they’re probably real shitty ones too, like yknow malnutrition really fucks the cholesterol really fucks the cell integrity, you hear that all the people that complain about cholesterol!? CHOLESTEROL IS A VITALLY IMPORTANT COMPOUND FOR THE PERMEABILITY OF THE CELL MEMBRANE, IF YOU TREAT IT LIKE IT’S EVIL YOUR CELLS WILL COLLAPSE. I hope all the people who complain about cholesterol in diets don’t all die because the cell wall dissolves. Uhhhhhhh literally flawless segway this is a perfect totally worm focused blog exclusively and I would never stray off the stated topic! Noelle everyone, am I right? Truly the character of all time.

basically, the amount of Noelleposting(tm) in a friend server on discord lately inspired me to make dark world designs for a group of characters of mine!

this is the first one. she’s supposed to sort of act as an inverse to a shadow character, so, white. that’s also why the eyepatch is modeled after save points. that’s.. literally the only reason lol. it looks cool.

oh and yeah her design is INCREDIBLY inspired by ceroba from undertale yellow (this design is a draft, i’ll probably try and make the ceroba less obvious in the next one)

but my favorite part is probably her weapon, which is a lantern on a big ol stick!!

I’ve been joking to people that I wanted to write a Noelle x Amy fic

but I think I��m actually gonna do it, and take it seriously.  I think I might be the first, because I can’t find any existing fics. I’m imagining this is pre s9 Amy, she comes into try to heal Noelle as WoG claims did happen in a collapsed coil timeline, and from there try to do positive character growth that still fits cannon Amy.  For the sake of the fic I do think that I will have to make Noelle more like her earth Aleph personality, as she’s too hostile in cannon for a relationship to begin.
