Xu Xian has a vision of Ruyi coming to tell him she’s going to meet her father and he finds in his room the clothes he bought on the lantern festival. There’s also a letter in which she asks him to bury her next to her father. She trapped the inner demon in Wang Daoling’s core, but it will hold it only for seven days. Then Xu Xian wakes up really scared. So it was a dream? nope, the clothes are really there.

Xu Xian feels bad for what happened to Ruyi and blames himself that it came to this ending. Well actually, I think it’s a nice ending for her. She died doing the right thing and realized her wrongdoings. I can’t like her, but I still pity her. And I forgive her.

Fahai have a look at Suzhen and warns Xu Xian that being pregnant and still fighting like she did would harm her. She needs to retreat and start cultivating again to recuperate. Also Xu Xian doesn’t want to worry her about the demon core, but Fahai thinks they have to do something about it. Lately town’s people are afraid of them. It would be impossible in seven days to eradicate their ill feelings. So when the inner demon comes out again, it will feed on it. So Xu Xian asks how can they destroy it. The only way is for a pure heart to take it in and control it. I don’t like it. I feel like Xu Xian is going to sacrifice himself.... Yikes.

He promises her everything she says. He’s really going to do it. He’s going to sacrifice himself. I CAN’T AGREE WITH THAT. Can’t they just live happily together? Fahai, you put that thing to life, you take care of it and let those poor people lead a happy life. Find another stupid person  to sacrifice themselves. He asks her to wait for him when he dies, for the next life, since humans don’t live very long. He’s going to do it. He sends her right away to Emei. So she won’t know and won’t be able to stop him.

I am going to cry so much. He’s even sending Jiaorong, Gongfu and the baby to Emei. Wow. Stupid Xu Xian. I am already crying. If he dies, I swear...

Jiaorong and Gongfu thinks something is odd, so they go back to Ling’An...

I feel this is going to be stressful again. I am already feeling unwell.

Omg. I am crying so bad I can’t even see anymore. He’s doing this so people in town would think he’s the demon and then kill the inner demon thus Suzhen won’t be mistaken as a demon anymore. He does eat the core and looks in so much pain.

Oh no. It looks like it found a weakness in Xu Xian too. I can’t breath anymore since I am so sad.

Gongfu comes back home and they are happy to see him because they want him to catch the demon. And people says that the demon is Xu Xian. Gongfu really ends catching him and Xu Xian begs him to go and see Fahai.

At Emei, Suzhen is missing Xu Xian, so Xiao Qing suggests she just goes back and see him. Since Xiao Qing promises to not be lazy and keep cultivating, Suzhen decides to go back.

In town they post announcements that Xu Xian is a demon which angers so much Jiaorong. People seeing that she is Xu Xian’s sister, they want to kill her too. Gongfu comes right in time to protect her.

Suzhen gets back home, but Xu Xian’s not there. She finds Jiaorong praying and she begs her to go and save Xu Xian. People say he’s a demon.

Okay. I am still crying and my heart is pounding and I am feeling so very unwell but... how come demon-Xu Xian is so handsome? I never really thought Xu Xian was handsome from the very beginning but now.. Wow. Hello you. But please don’t die. Keep the look and stay alive. That’s all I ask. Or... even go back your old look, but just stay alive.

Suzhen asks to see Fahai and Xu Xian tells him to send her away. If he sees her, he might not be able to maintain his pure heart. No matter how, he really won’t see her one last time. Why is there no other way? He can’t die.

Fahai tries to send her away, but she won’t go. Finally Xu Xian comes to see her. I don’t want to see this. He pretends he wants to become a monk and sends her away. He still hides the truth from her. So Fahai is going to burn down Xu Xian.

Back at Emei, Xiao Qing sees Jing Song. Jing Song TT I thought he was completely dead. He tells her Suzhen is in danger and she must help her. Xu Xian took the inner demon in and that’s why Fahai is going to kill him. So Suzhen is using forbidden magic to save her husband. Jing Song. I found a way. Please, Xiao Qing, I hope you can be successful. So Xiao Qing goes to her father’s place. They owe her and it’s time they pay her back.

Suzhen turned dark too now. Xu Xian, that was a stupid, very stupid plan. How could you think that she would leave you behind. Xu Xian tries to tell this is what he wanted, but she won’t hear anything. This is way too stressful. Couldn’t they keep it like... easier? My poor heart...

Legend of the White Snake - Episode 14

Wow. Three weeks have gone by real fast. Is February already almost over? What? So my computer decided to revive yay! I really didn’t want to watch the rest of the show without doing my reviews, because I don’t like leaving things unattended too and I don’t know. I like to write those recap on the spot, without knowing what is going to happen next. Let’s pray that my computer will still work until at least when I am done with this drama. Which I hope would be this week since I have 7 days off!

So where were we? Yes, Suzhen and Xu Xian are getting ready to be married and Ruyi finally came back with some strange man with her. Frog guy. His eyes are scaring me. So anyways, Xu Xian was worried about her, but she plays independent now that she has a new guy to take care of her. Xu Xian asks her about who is that weirdo, his name is Daoling and since Xu Xian doesn’t want to take of her, well he is. And I would say, he’s crazy go along with her, his misery is just starting. Even more now that Xu Xian just tells her that he’s relieved she found someone to take good care of her and invites her to come to his wedding with Suzhen. She’s so upset about it. So she’s like, please come too to my wedding with Daoling, I am planning to give him Jishi tang. She’s so desperate to make him jealous, but he’s so not. So he says okay, I will give you back the account books and resign from my work too. And she gets mad and accuses Suzhen of forcing him to cut ties, but wow. That Xu Xian though. So patient with her and just asks of her not to ill talk of Suzhen.

Woops. Ruyi now made Frog guy angry. She tells him he’s too ugly for her to actually get married to him, he’s no match for Xu Xian and she only said they will get married to make him angry. Poor guy. Run away from that girl, she’s no good for you. No matter how nice you would be to her, she’s obsessed with Xu Xian.

Awwww. They are so cute at the wedding. Big sis and big bro are so happy too. Only Ruyi is crying. But she did smile a little too though. Is it just me or Chinese wedding clothes, traditional ones I mean, are so beautiful.

Awwwww. Xu Xian is so cute. He just stares at her because he’s afraid she would disappear, that he’s just dreaming. Xu Xian is annoyingly naive at some point, but. I would marry a guy like that whenever. AWWWW. SO SHE STANDS UP AND KISSES HIM ON THE CHEEK TO WAKE HIM UP FROM THE DREAM. The look in his eyes. They are just way too cute.

So Qing Er and the guys are a little drunk and she asks what it is to.. hm... how to translate that accurately? 成亲 (chéngqīn) is used when people are getting married, but it means more than just the wedding in itself. It’s like... becoming family? But it can only be used between spouses, you can’t say that about like... your parents get married again and their partner has kids, those new siblings, it’s not 成亲 (chéngqīn). I don’t know if clear? I didn’t check the translation for the subtitles, but I think it’s important to understand that because otherwise the next dialogue isn’t as funny. So since none of them were wed in the past, they all don’t really know. So one of them says it’s about sharing a bedroom, so another then asks are they not all in that situation then, since they all share a room since such a long time? Hahaha. So they debate a little about that, and it’s pretty funny. Then Qing Er suggest they all go find themselves a partner, because it looks fun. So pure haha.

Awww. Poor Jing Song. I still like him. He’s so sad.

Fahai’s master is a little sick, but he says there’s nothing to worry and asks him if he found anything during his stay in town. Fahai is starting to have doubts about Suzhen. Is she still a demon now that she doesn’t have core anymore and give it to Xu Xian to fight the poison killing him and now that Xu Xian has that core, is he still a human. So his master tells, to make the difference between man and demon, you should use your heart. Awww. 

Wow. Suzhen is already really comfortable in her new house. She threw away to burn all the old furniture to replace it with new ones. Poor Jiaorong. But forgive her, she means well and she doesn’t know about the ways of humans. Aww poor sis, she’s so upset, but at least, I believe her little brother is really good at making her happy.

Suzhen studies the way normal people earn and spend money. I guess she understands why you can’t just throw away things like that and change them for new ones. Just then, Xu Xian comes back gives his salary to Suzhen and Qing Er is already ready to spend it all. Suzhen tells no, she just told her about the value of money and Xu Xian tells her he earns it for her to spend it. But then, he pretends he has to go back to the pharmacy... But hasn’t her resigned? I hope he won’t overwork himself to provide for a lot of money for his wife. I mean, she’s a snake, she can live with not a lot easily. Poor him. But since he left in such a hurry, she didn’t have the time to give him a lunchbox, so she decides to hurry and send it to him at Jishi tang. Yep. Of course they are kicked out and Ruyi tells them Xu Xian doesn’t work there anymore.

Suzhen feels bad because she knows his relationship with Ruyi became like this because of her and while Qing Er is angry at Xu Xian for not saying it, Suzhen just knows he pretended like nothing happened not to worry her and make her sad. Those two TT. They finally find him, going inside a pharmacy to look for work, but then... he won’t be hired. And nobody will because he was a student at Jishi tang for so many years, that if they hire him, it would hurt the affairs of Jishi tang and it’s like bullying Ruyi. Because she’s just a girl taking care of it by herself. Qing Er wants to teach a lesson to Ruyi, but Suzhen stops her from doing so, because she knows Xu Xian won’t want to hurt her since they grew up together.

invisible, Suzhen and Qing Er stayed in, but actually... it’s not because of what the man said that Xu Xian can’t get a job. He actually wanted him, but the big boss said no and he managed to make sure that nobody will hire him. So sad. Basically, he wants him to have nowhere to go so later he can bring him in as his benefactor. Which would be so bad for him. Qing Er still takes revenge by sending mosquitos at him.

Later that night, Suzhen goes and meet with him, she lets him know she went to send him a night lunch at Jishi tang but then learnt that he’s not working there. He wants to apologize for hiding it from her, but she says it’s okay and just asks him to have a walk with her to look around the city. He wants to buy her some stuff to make her happy, but she says she doesn’t want anything because she doesn’t want to burden him. That’s something I like a lot about those two. They understand each other very well, Suzhen especially understands Xu Xian, and they take such good care of each other. So he pretends he forgot his money pouch to get something for her, I am sure. How cute.

He feels bad for not buying anything, since she comes from a rich family, but she says she’d rather be with him than anything else. Oh yes he did buy her something TT Because she’s so nice that spending a thousand gold for her would never be enough. They... I... I just can’t. They are way too adorable.

Awwww. She likes the pin so much, she keeps looking at it. Qing Er teases her about how cheesy she is with Xu Xian and they are about to use magic to fight, but then Suzhen is like. NOOOOO. THIS VASE! We shouldn’t break objects. Was about time you know about it. Well that’s because it’s old. Then they think of the stuff at Suzhen’s place and they make it old again, because now they know old stuff has more value than new ones and if they sell them, they can help Xu Xian.

Ruyi bumps into Xu Xian while he is rejected again for work and hopes he regrets his choice, but he says he doesn’t. It’s okay she hates him, but he wishes her to be happy, because resentment is not worth anything and will prevent them from stepping in their new life. Ruyi is upset that he’s willing to be poor just to be with Suzhen. And she tells him that Suzhen is selling the stuff she owns to help him. So he runs to it. Oh god. Poor him. Suzhen doesn’t understand that... even though she means well, Chinese guys have to preserve face. Like, having his wife making money for him, that’s losing face. So he runs to go to Suzhen. About that one, Ruyi’s right: she understands him better than Suzhen. But just on that matter.

Xu Xian tells Suzhen to get everything back. He feels already bad enough that she has to go through all of this because of him, but he doesn’t want her to use her family’s money. She doesn’t want to take the things back, because she doesn’t care about them, but he takes the money pouch and goes to take everything back.

First quarrel as husband and wife. Suzhen is pouting so much haha. She’s probably thinking “why won’t you accept my help, I am just doing my best too because I want to share all of your burdens” while he’s thinking “I want you to live carefree and I want to take care of you so won’t have a worry in your life”. Poor Suzhen, she’s sad that he doesn’t want her money because she thinks he sees them separately. Since he won’t accept her money, she want’s to throw away the hairpin he gave her. She’s so petty somehow. I love that they don’t portray Suzhen as a perfect deity or something like that. It’s nice that she has a bad character too sometimes.

Then, an old couple comes by. The lady is blind and her husband is taking her on a boat cruise on West Lake because even though it’s expensive and she can’t, she just wants to be on the lake and breath fresh air. Suzhen helps her get on the boat, as she almost fell down and the boat driver (how do you call that haha) asks her if she wants to take the boat too. She agrees and right then Xu Xian comes and says he wants to ride the boat with her too. She’s still a little angry, but I believe in Xu Xian’s ability to make her happy. He’s a smooth talker. On the boat, the old couple talks about how she saved money to take a ride on the boat and the lady is surprised that her husband even knew.

Xu Xian tells Suzhen he wasn’t angry at her, and like I said earlier, he just wants her to live without any burden. It’s not because he wants to keep separate count of what’s his and what’s hers. Finally, they make up, thanks to that old lady. What a nice comparison though. No matter what weather, West Lake is always a scenery. No matter what happens between a couple, happiness, sadness, it’s still coming in a package to make something beautiful. And it’s so true. No matter if it rains or if it’s a clear, West Lake is ALWAYS beautiful. I really recommend everyone to go have walk by the West Lake at least once in their life. If possible, in july, when the lotus flowers are blooming. You will never see something more gorgeous.

Qing Er finds a way to make money too so she can eat meat before she becomes a vegetable. So she decides to earn the money by performing. They try to hide it from Suzhen and Xu Xian. But then, Ruyi comes out and it comes down to nothing because she makes into a liar and everybody wants their money back. Just right then, Suzhen and Xu Xian comes in. And Suzhen calls Qing Er’s name. That’s going to be a mess. Poor Xu Xian and Suzhen.

They just made up from their first couple fight and that happens. But I can’t really blame Qing Er. She didn’t mean harm, but she should have listened and not try to earn money by using dishonest means. And I am really thinking, that poor Xu Xian. Not losing face is so important for a man in China... With all of this, it looks like he’s unable to provide for his wife ): And like, don’t think of getting married if you can’t provide for your wife.

I hope everything ends up well. Without them needing to move out of town haha. Just open your own practice already. You’ll make plenty of money, everybody wants to be treated by you.

She gives her core to Xu Xian and he wakes up, thinking that she’s a dream. He misses her so much. Poor both of them. Please give them a break TT

When they wake up, they have a sweet little moment. It’s about time they get married. Really, they already act like a married couple anyways. Then, he starts coughing again and she goes fetch his medicine. While looking for it, she sees all the drawing he made of her while he missed her TT How come it there such a sweet guy in life? Can I marry him too? Well no, I won’t snatch him away from Suzhen, just get me his twin brother. Even though he’s a little to obsessed by her, maybe it’s scary at some point.

Awwww. He hugs and says she’s the best medicine he could have. Which is true. Or almost, because she’s also his poison ): But we don’t care about that. He finally outright says he wants her to be his wife. Just about time. She agrees and says that they have to be together not only in this life, but in every life after this one, life after life. So cute.

Ok. So that fake medicine seller is also some sort of demon. He gets in Ruyi’s room and tries to kiss her in her sleep. Two options. Either he fell in love with her at first sight, either he’s a frog and needs to kiss a princess to break the spell.

Before Suzhen can leave quietly, both Xu Jiaorong and Li Gongfu wakes up. Jiaorong is at first too happy to see that her little brother is standing up and then notices that Suzhen is there. Well they are both surprised. Oh no. Li Gongfu suspects that Suzhen is a demon, because the dagger lit up when she was close to it earlier... Well she is, but she’s not evil and she really fell for Xu Xian. She gave up everything for him. Don’t be harsh on her please...

He asks her how she was able to heal Xu Xian when no doctors in town could. She explains that he was poisoned and an uncle told her about a pill able to clear the poison and she just decided to try. But then Li Gongfu gets angry, because she said earlier that she has no more family alive. Xu Xian tries to speak for her, but Gongfu won’t let him. He wonders how she came in so late at night, how could she get in without them knowing. Xiaorong says he must not have locked the door. Then Xu Xian drops down on his knees right then and asks to be able to marry Suzhen. Jiaorong is very happy about that. Ah. Gongfu, stop being too smart for your own good. Now he wants to go ask Suzhen’s uncle for the wedding. So they say they will go to Suzhou in a few days. Suzhen is worried that a trip to Suzhou would harm Xu Xian so she says her uncle is now in Lin’An to see her, so they decide to go the next day.

Gongfu tries to convince his wifey to go slower with Xu Xian’s wedding, because there’s something fishy about Suzhen. He even asks her what if she’s an evil spirit. Then she laughs at him because before he didn’t believe in ghosts and stuff but now that he caught one he sees some everywhere. She tells him that no evil spirit would save people and if Suzhen is not just a normal person, then she must be an immortal. She’s like if you ruin my brother’s wedding, I am not sparing you. Thank you big sister for having faith in Suzhen. She indeed hides her real identity, but she’s really in love with Xu Xian. He knows Xu Xian getting married is a good thing, but he can’t rest about it so he decides to ask the monk.

Ruyi heard about Xu Xian and Suzhen’s engagement, so she’s really mad. Oh so she was hiding in a guest house and she gets kicked out because she doesn’t have enough money to pay.

Gongfu tells Fahai that Xu Xian is about to marry Suzhen so Fahai asks to meet with Xu Xian. Then Fahai is wondering how Xu Xian hasn’t died from the poison yet and realizes he now has a demon’s core. So he guesses Suzhen gave her core to suppress the poison. He tries to inspect him but both Gongfu and Jiaorong are like wait don’t touch him argh! Then Gongfu takes him apart and is like dude I didn’t ask you to check if my wife’s brother is a demon, but rather if his fiancée is one. Than Fahai wonders. Is a demon without a core still a demon? Poor Gongfu, he must be so confused.

I really like how the monk turns out in this series. He’s likeable. In the end, he doesn’t know and decides to go ask his master. I hope the master won’t say anything to break those two apart again. ENOUGH SADNESS AND PAIN.

Ruyi is so hurt, she decides to kill herself. But it’s more like to take revenge on Xu Xian. That girl. She tries to think of a way to die and remain pretty. But there’s literally none. Right then, fake medicine seller sees her and while trying to stop her from jumping off the cliff, scares her, she trips and falls down. He jumps in to save her.

Jing Song came back to try and take Suzhen away. But she won’t let him so he says he’ll just kill Xu Xian if she doesn’t leave. She tries to fight him, but she obviously can’t without her core and he realizes she gave it away. He’s really hurt by it, and only decides to give up because she says to kill her before if he really wants to get rid of Xu Xian. He leaves angrily, saying he can wait a hundred years.

Ruyi has completely disappeared. Li Gongfu looked for her all around but there’s no trace of her. Qing Er goes to give some name list to Xu Xian and his family and she’s like, why the hell are you all so sad? Then she tells them that she just saw Ruyi at home, she even brought a guy with her. Jiaorong gets worried that she just took whatever man in there because she was so sad. As she opens the door, she plays hard to get with Xu Xian.

Legend of the White Snake - Episode 12

Well. I ended up falling asleep. I guess I was pretty exhausted from my last two days of work. But I woke up early and I am ready to keep on rolling.

So Fox lady is like: you want me dead? Fine, let’s all die together yay! What a crazy one. She makes a kind of snow falling, which could be dangerous for anyone getting touched by it. Suzhen and Qing Er tries to get rid of it, but even with joined forces, they can’t do it. Fahai also gets contaminated while he was surprised to see some demons helping. Kexin tries to corrupt his heart. When Suzhen and Qing Er can’t hold it anymore, Jing Song finally comes out and help.

Fahai’s master feels there’s something wrong in Lin’An and asks the Buddha to help them. What a powerful master. He makes the snow go away from the distance. However, no matter what, Suzhen is not willing to forgive Jing Song. Well he’s not really repentant, he believes he was right to do what he did and I understand Suzhen to feel betrayed. They have been friends for thousand of years.

After her father died, Ruyi becomes driven by work and won’t let anyone do chores in her stead. Basically she’s restless and now I am afraid Xu Xian will feel forced to marry her... ARGH. YIKES. Anyways. She tells him to heal quickly, lately he was coughing a lot, even blood. He says that is the result of the mistreatments he received in jail, but later at night while he’s looking at his books, it’s not. He doesn’t know how come he’s hurt to this point... Did somebody poisoned him? Where is Suzhen at that time? Come and save your husband TT

Oh god. He really was poisoned...

It’s demonic poison, Suzhen confirms it, and she believes it’s hers, but she can’t lift it. What the hell? She poisoned him while kissing him? How are they going to have a kid then if she every time she kisses him he gets poisoned? Well, that time she didn’t really kiss him, it was more like mouth to mouth to revive him.

He wakes up and tells her that he doesn’t want to burden her anymore. If she could get the antidote, she would have gotten it earlier. Sometimes, there are diseases that medicine can’t heal. No. Xu Xian TT You are way too nice to die like this. I know he won’t die, we are only at episode 12 out of 36 but STILL. He’s so resilient. He didn’t even to hold his lady in his arms, kiss her, marry her and stuff. No wonder this is a drama, because where in the world would there be a guy like this...

Suzhen goes back to E’Mei and tries to grow a plant to save him. Jing Song notices and stops her from keeping on doing it because she’s not strong enough to do that without dying. He seals her so she will recuperate the spiritual energy she lost and tells her he’ll take care of Xu Xian. Just after saying that him dying is  matter of time. I wouldn’t trust him. But... at some point, he really cares for Suzhen and their friendship... Maybe I can hope for the best?

Why. Jing Song. I had faith in you. He goes to see Xu Xian to tell him he’s leaving with Suzhen. You are going to kill him. Qing Er. Stop that squirrel, he’s taking your jiejie away from you. Oh. At least he stills gives him the medicinal herb so he won’t die. BUT WHY DO YOU DO THIS TO ME? THIS IS SO SAD. Selfish Jing Song. Saying to Xu Xian he can’t make Suzhen happy ):

Ruyi bumps into a fake doctor. I am sure it’s a fake. He sells her a pill that can heal anything. Oh god. She’s going to feed this to Xu Xian and Xu Xian will die. That Ruyi... Thank god, she’s smart enough not to make him drink it without telling him. Since he doesn’t recognize the medicine, he doesn’t take it and tells her to stop coming and take care of the pharmacy instead. He rejects her once again, I believe it’s time she understands that he won’t marry her. He only cares for Suzhen. So she threatens to kill herself if he doesn’t marry her.

Suzhen finally manages to free herself. FASTER. Go to Xu Xian TT Why people keep coming in between them?

When Suzhen gets to him, she still can’t heal him no matter what so she goes ask her bodhisattva master and learns that it’s their love that is poisoning him and the more it is deep, the more the poison gets stronger. WHY? This is so sad. The only way would be to suppress their love for each other. Or... Suzhen could give her  core to him and hide their love from the Heavens. She decides to give it to him, no matter what danger it may bring to her. True love TT

Suzhen is so pure in her desire to stay by Xu Xian’s side TT And with their bad luck, I am pretty sure they are going to face again so many trials. And now with her giving up cultivation... I hope Jing Song will wake up and help her before it’s too late. And if not... I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED IN YOU. I had faith he would think of Suzhen before himself, but no ):

Legend of the White Snake - Episode 11

Qing Er sees Hu Kexin ordering to get rid of some girl that saw something she shouldn’t have seen. Right Jing Song grabs her and blames her for trying to hurt Suzhen. She says she did so so Suzhen won’t think he’s related to it now that Xu Xian took the blame for her. She says she didn’t do anything to Suzhen, he only has to ask her. He threatens her that if Xu Xian doesn’t die anytime soon, he’s going to make sure she dies. She tries to convince him to leave Lin’An city, but he’s not buying it.

So Xu Xian finally told everything to Suzhen and asks her to give a letter to somebody, I didn’t get the name, but some king or emperor and then asks her to take of his family. She tells him that she won’t, because if he dies, she’s going to follow him. She promises that she will find a way to release him. So he promises to take care of himself.

Qing Er saves that lady that saw Kexin do something. I hope it helps.

They take Li Gongfu out of function ): Poor him. He didn’t even want to free his brother-in-law. I love this guy. He’s like, wait for when I come back. Make sure my sword has been thoroughly cleaned. Hahaha. I guess all of his underlings aren’t happy with him being demoted. I believe Li Gongfu is highly respected and appreciated.

Suzhen is wondering about who really killed the kid of that dude so she can free Xu Xian. Then Qing Er comes back and she solved the problem for Suzhen. Qing Er <3 So the lady she saved was a second wife to Liao death guy.  Too many people remember all of their names, sorry. She thought Hu Kexin was suspicious and followed her some day. She saw her getting all the flower that killed the guy and she also killed the person who collected it all for her. That’s why she tried to kill her.

Suzhen explains to Qing Er that that fox is the one they saw on the bridge and that she did so to separate them and make them weaker so she can take Suzhen’s core. Jing Song isn’t to blame. Suzhen, you are so nice. Jingsong clearly has ulterior motives, like jealousy.

When they get to Liao place, they realize Kexin put a trap for snakes so they can’t go in. So Suzhen go ask for Xiao Qing’s underling’s help. So actually, they are much more powerful than what they let think and Qing Er isn’t just a small snake from the lake. They ask Suzhen not ask questions because they can’t answer, but thank her for being able to guess their identity and promise to help her.

So they make a ruckus and get caught by fox girl and the rope. But it was a trap for her because they aren’t demons, rather they are gods from the sea (it’s not really gods, but let’s translate it that way so it’s easier to follow). Xu Xian’s sister, Li Gongfu and I believe the lady that Qing Er saved all plead for Xu Xian’s innocence. And I believe Suzhen is acting as the whatsoever king Xu Xian was talking about, since they can morph.

Yep, it is Suzhen acting as King Mu, seems that is the name. The gods took the place of Kexin’s maid and put some herbs in her tea that will make her reveal her real form. So has they ask her, she is uncovered.

As she escapes, she gets chased by Fa Hai. I am starting to love that monk. She transforms herself in an old lady so the people would help her stop Fa Hai.

Xu Xian is finally released. Li Gongfu and big sister takes him out and they meet a while with King Mu. As she sees him, Suzhen is worried and acts like a worried wife which is weird, Qing Er tries to take her away before she lets herself get exposed. That was actually extremely funny.

Fahai gets again inside the pharmacy chasing the fox. But then Ruyi won’ let him go in because she doesn’t believe the fox really is there.

Oh my god. For the first time, I loved Ruyi. That evil fox used her to be released from the trap the monk set on her, but as soon as Ruyi is released, she stabs the fox with her hairpin. That was handsome. Stupid, but handsome. Kexin tries to kill Ruyi but her dad jumped in to push her away and saved her.

Suzhen and Qing Er notices that Fahai is running after the fox, so Suzhen suggests they should go and help him, because it’s easy for a fox to mingle within people. So they make sure the streets get more and more empty by making walls illusions in the city. Li gongfu goes through that wall though, but that is fortunate. Fahai’s staff starts moving, but he doesn’t have enough spiritual energy anymore to make the fox show her true self. While meeting with his underlings, Gongfu notices someone he doesn’t know, the fox, and as she’s about to get exposed, she tries to kill him, but he’s bearing the dagger the monk gave him which pierces her and exposes her.

Fahai tries to take her, but she uses her powers to captivate the men and make them hold back Fahai. However, he manages to wake them up and since he won’t let her go, she’s going to take down everybody with her.

And I was planning to go to bed since I am exhausted, but how can I now? I have to keep going. Let’s make ourself some tea and press that play button on episode 12.
