#xdinary heroes #gaon #kwak jiseok #i was working on another gifset but the coloring drove me insane #(if you saw the post: no you didn't ♥ after i posted it i was like 'wait it actually sucks' and deleted it again)#so i made these gifs instead #i finished the other gifset by now but i'll wait until tomorrow to see if i'm still okay with it by then #fun fact: my haircolor is pretty similar to gaon's here!#i got them dyed recently and i knew i wanted reddish hair but in a natural looking way #not like bright red. also not purple leaning because purple makes me look ill #but i couldn't find good reference pics just some 'something like that i guess' pics and in the end i didn't even use them #but the hairstylist was super nice and actually took her time picking a haircolor with me #and when i was done i was like 'ah so this is my color now' and then i noticed it's a similar color to jiseok in this era and that's neat ♥#next time i'm just going to bring some jiseok pics as refence

Being able to love yourself completely and unconditionally is freedom.

#even if that means you are not like everyone else #it took me a long time because of childhood trauma and abuse but I am glad I am where I am now #i love myself #this thought was sparked by the happiness I feel to finally have my natural haircolor back.. I dyed it for far too long #it is now how it is meant to be and it is beautiful and not fake #i do not care if others choose to dye their hair though - this is just a standard I hold myself to

We were unable to find the bleach i bought before i cut my hair so i was lying abt getting it done yesterday however moms gonna go get a new packet today YIPEE. Im not quite ready to try the orange tips, i want my hair just a lil longer, but gbless i miss the texture & moldability of bleached hair more than anything

Other bits of old Moe lore actually! Esp when I was figuring out how to draw it, and another old project that's been on the backburner too

This isn't Moe really, but it is the self-insert I made when I first played Awakening/whenever I replay Awakening as a guy!

(You might not be able to see it very well, but he's got bandaids/a scratched up face too LMFAO -- if the customization refuses to give me glasses I will be putting SOMETHING. On that face 😤)

I was going to ref these portraits especially to try and make my own Awakening/Fates style talking sprites! Another idea I've had too was trying to make that style of sprite for both Alfonse and Sharena, but I really don't think I can mimic Kozaki's style enough to convincingly pull it off.... 😓

Also. A funny detail when it comes to My Summoner in FEH specifically

Moe doesn't wear glasses, but I do. So in game, (esp since I go by Milo there) My Summoner has glasses. But if it were just Moe, I think it would wear the bandaids. When it comes to weapons, I feel maybe it would wield a different tome too... it is goat/hooved animal themed, after all. But also functionality wise, aesthetics aside (buuny), it does function as a makeshift healer (since you can't wield staves unfortunately! We have healers at home. Self-healing/Ardent Sacrifice style.)
