Reactions to Miracle Creator's Chapter 150

TL;DR - Jang Hyung vs CH. Jang Hyung's purification. Competition between Namgung Clan, Demon Cult, and Kunlun School. Cale heads to the Evil Alliance.

Jang Hyung versus Choi Han To be honest, I did not expect to see a fight scene in this chapter. Nor the poetic lines to describe the fight, courtesy of Jegal Mi Ryeo and Heavenly Demon. CJS got a mention here because CH was being compared to him.

There was also the fight between two dragons: CH's black yong (dragon) versus Jang Hyung's Eight Great Styles of the Cloud Dragon (signature technique of the Kunlun School).

I was excited about the fight scene because this was rare! Of course, CH won in the end.

Jang Hyung's Purification This was probably the longest purification so far - more than two hours. It was because the Black Death Energy had already reached the upper dantian (the brain part).

There was some hostile tension between Jang Hyung and HD, but after the purification ended, Jang Hyung's hostility towards HD lessened.

The Competition This part was quite funny:

Namgung Tae Wi gets purified -> I, the Sword Saint, and the Namgung Clan will take the lead in the battle against the Blood Cult!

Heavenly Demon gets purified -> The Demon Cult will take the lead in the battle against the Blood Cult!

Jang Hyung gets purified -> The Kunlun School will take the lead in the battle against the Blood Cult!

I guess Cale will not have to worry in his fight against the Blood Cult.

Cale and the Evil Alliance Cale's interaction with the Sima Clan was also funny. 🤣🤣🤣

Ending Remarks Next week is finally the Evil Alliance arc. I wonder who and how many Living Jiangshi we'll encounter there. Anyway, I'll end this post with a translation of HD's perspective on CH's fight.

He was like a child in a way, but his heart was pure and unwavering. Therefore, that heart must have been contained in his sword.

DISCLAIMERS. mun =/= muse. there are aspects of thomas that are rather unsavory, he is a complicated person and has done some questionable things in his life, for a plethora of reasons. mun does not excuse his bitterness, his attitude, or condone some of his more problematic actions, but it is this complexity that makes him such a compelling character in my opinion. in regards to that kiss scene; it was incredibly stupid of him and, even if jimmy kent had returned his feelings, kissing someone while they are sleeping is extremely inappropriate. thomas deeply regrets these actions. even though he had been led on and tricked into believing that jimmy liked him in that way, he wasn't thinking clearly and acted out of desperation, and acknowledges that it was not okay.

A humble, maybe desperate, request

Hello!

I am writing regarding the whole kji vs hs mods/bbh drama going on in the mewerp community right now. I would like to apologize in advance if my English is unnatural as I am not a native speaker. Also forgive me if I am not sending this where I should, I never had a tumblr blog and I am not too sure how it works.

I am a former member of the rp close to Jongin’s mun and I would like to have a sincere heart-to-heart between me and you guys.

Right now I am very concerned about my friend. Clearly neither side handled the issue well, yes, including my friend, and there were many mistakes that only escalated things into the mess that it became. So I was hoping that now that the incident is over, everyone would be able to close the chapter and move on. But now, I see other people bringing the topic up again and again in this blog. I see people who weren’t involved in the first place coming with their own versions of what happened, ranging from baseless lies to half-truths and quotes taken out of context. All this is only making mun upset again and urges them to respond to everything, even days later, which makes me terribly worried about their mental health despite them telling me they are fine. I am aware that my friend is definitely not the only one hurting from this all, but I am focusing on them because they are the ones I am close to and I see them dealing with it every day. I would like to clarify that no, my friend doesn’t know that I am sending you this message, so this is not me trying to throw a pity party. But at this point, I feel like, as a friend, I need to do my duty and try to step in and stop this madness. These things can have real life consequences, for everyone, that I am terrified to even think of and I just don’t want my friend to get stressed any more than they already have.

So, please, I beg you, from one person just trying to enjoy the internet to the other, please don’t post asks related to the HS incident anymore. Yes, I am aware this is a lot to ask for, I know this blog is dedicated to gossip and tea and it has the right to exist just like any other blog. I also acknowledge that people have the right to express their thoughts related to anything they want without censorship. I’m not trying to dictate what you should do with your own blog that you have 100% the right to run however you wish. I know that your intentions aren’t to hurt anyone irl. I’m not even opposed to reopening discussions about this incident after some time, when all parties have cooled down and can talk about it more objectively. What I’m trying to do is protect my friend’s mental health and hoping that by doing this, other people’s mental health will be spared too. Yes, you can say I’ve reached a point of desperation. I really just want peace, first of all, for my friend; but I also think it would benefit the rest of the rp too if the conversation died down and everyone gets back to enjoying the rp experience. At the end of the day, we all just want to enjoy our hobby and forget about the stress behind the screen. — three facts

I have never been diagnosed with anything in my life, but at this point it's getting hard to deny there's something going on with me. Most definitely some form of social anxiety, I'm terrified of all of you, but I don't know what else.

I really like nursery kitsch and I dress my room up in little antiques I collect.

I forget things super easy. I can't remember my childhood anymore, nor anyone I went to school with. Sometimes I struggle even to remember what I did the day before. But I remember the weirdest details all the time, like the colors of the toys in my childhood bedroom or a very specific poster on the wall.

I have been roleplaying for years (since I was in high school), but I usually don't count that experience too much because I don't feel like I started learning anything until much much later. Maybe my experience should really start when I joined this site? Have I improved any? That'd be about a year and a half now, right?

— sub-genres

I don't really have any favorites, but I'm not super great with writing action/combat so genres that include a lot of those are usually less likely to happen from me. I do really like to write angst and fluff in equal measure, but my angst tends to really upset people so I try not to do that too much these days. I don't want to hurt anyone.

— plots vs memes

I tend to work better with memes just because I'm really terrible at plotting. If I'm forced to sit there for a while and think of a bullet point list of things my characters can do to start interaction or scenarios they might find themselves in with others, I can, but it takes a really long time. I really suck at it. Getting memes in forces me to come up with something on the spot and I feel the pressure and it makes real work come out of me.

I don't really have a preference as long as I have something I can reply, too. However, I do start to sort of lose energy for a thread if I'm consistently getting just one or two sentences per response. Like, that happening once or twice doesn't bother me, but if our thread has lasted 20+ notes and every single one I've replied to has been only one sentence or so I get stunted and can't think of ideas. I have no idea why my brain works that way, either, literally it's not a you problem that's just how I function. The sole exception to this is rapid-fire dash comm, and even then, if it last more than a few notes I start lengthening it and turning it into a real thread. Otherwise, I generally just try to match the length of my partner.

— best time to write

I usually get the most time to write between 7 AM - 4 PM CST on Mondays - Fridays because those are the days and times in which everyone in my house is gone and I'm free to do whatever I want. However on the weekends and any time past or before those I'm usually doing something with my family and don't have as much time. If we're just watching tv or something I can be on as late as 9 PM, but I can't promise that kind of schedule consistently. Aaaand since it's now summer and Sibling is off work (kind of), I may lose even that much of my schedule. Right now it really just depends on the day.

Mun Vs. Muse

Similarities:

we both appreciate and will make jokes/puns/reference memes. it is not always done correctly (whether on purpose or due to not actually understanding in the first place). 

we will also say the Wrong word than what we actually intend on occasion.

we have a similar and broad taste in music, and we are both open to listening to things that are less appealing to us personally if someone we care about likes it, even if we never want to hear it again afterward.

we both have the same type of calmly competitive nature in the sense that we are going to TRY OUR BEST to win regardless of who we are against (friends or not), but we are not sore losers. also, we don’t get competitive about Everything nor want to be better than everyone; it’s just specific things, like playing games.

I don’t always feel like it’s true, but people in real life and online’s opinions/reactions to my presence seems to indicate that I have a lot of patience/softness/Mature Energy. Like, there were occasionally individuals in college (including one that I barely knew) that would Ask me for advice about something PERSONAL/WHAT I WOULD CALL PRIVATE and I answered honestly and thoughtfully the best I could. Optimus experiences and does the same, although he doesn’t feel oddly about it like I do.

we can be or sound self-righteous, but it doesn’t usually mean we’re close-minded or unwilling to give second chances. there are lines we will not cross, however, if at all possible to avoid, and have never changed our mind on those select morals.

we are fiercely protective, even if there have been very few times I’ve had a reason to be compared to him.

Differences:

this fellow is way above average size in his own universe. i am just average height, and absolutely not built like a truck.

he is stronger in many ways than I am, both physically and psychologicaly. like, if you insulted me personally rather than as constructive criticism, I might cry.

follow up to that: I try to avoid confrontation due to my sensitivity. op does prefer peace, but also, he will insult with 0 hesitation and throw hands if he has a reason (or he feels like it). I may insult/fuss about things that I dislike privately with my friends, but not publicly.

op will speak to anyone confidently. I am shy and awkward until I am comfortable with someone. 

also, he Speaks better than I do, I have difficulty transferring the thoughts in my head into coherent wording sometimes.

I’ve never been in straight up combat/a fist fight much less warfare.

if I have died before, I have no memory or knowledge of it.

I’m more Mom Friend energy than BBQ Dad energy, if that makes sense hfkjsdh

my knowledge of sports is based purely on research for muses that play/are interested in them, and Iron Leaguer; I am not actually into them myself and I could not tell you much about real life teams or historical players.

🔍: Something you look for on other’s blogs.

A rules section coupled with honesty. Through reading someone's rules, you can imagine the lines that delimit the mun's mentality in the topics that are commonly addressed and whatever they choose to add that isn't as common. To me, as a mun, it helps me decide if I follow said blog or not depending on multiple factors: a) if what I do doesn't conflict with the other's rules b) if I agree with what's stated (sometimes I loosen this limit myself even if I disagree with x point, only if it doesn't concern me directly) and c) if they're honest, they follow their own rules and are consequent with what they ask.

Which leads me to the honesty part. I've encountered people who, be it out of being distracted while reading my rules or because they haven't read them to begin with, would follow my blog even though when I later checked their blog, there is a clear conflict between their rules and what I do or a conflict between rules that from my interpretation, would make a mutual follow incompatible. Sometimes I find amusing that even if I choose not to follow a blog, I have to respect the rules that the mun themselves aren't respecting for xyz reason.

Being consequent with what you demand is something I see lacking too, and I'll talk about an experience of mine to explain this: You can't go around demanding that people tag spoilers, only to state publicly 3-4 months later that you haven't played said quest you demanded to be tagged as spoilers nor know what happens in said quest simply... because you aren't interested in that part of the game origin that ties us in the same fandom. To me, that's completely inconsiderate towards others. All in all, if you establish something in your rules, you should be consequent and accept what will happen as a result of that. Likewise, if you demand something you should hold a degree of responsibility and not putting it all onto the other.

🔪: A fandom you refuse to associate with.

As I did in another post where I'm asked the same, I'll talk about Genshin Impact as that's where Dainsleif belongs. For this one, I'll focus on interpretations as it's a big reason of mine to stray from the fandom. It's obvious that there will be as many interpretations of what happens in the story as people play the game or choose to watch if they don't want to play it. There is no problem with that. The problem starts when there is a clear bias and when some are so blind in what they see or want to see that they shove it down everyone else's throat and if you don't agree with their point of view, then you're [introduce negative trait here].

While this is a great factor that influences one's interpretation, everyone is susceptible to have a bias and I'm not above that. Having a bias is not the problem either. The problem is being unable to differentiate what you see or want to see vs what objectively happens and put the blame on others who won't share what you say. This may affect to character interpretations (Childe is a character highly susceptible of this for several reasons I won't elaborate, so are the Archons and other characters susceptible of criticism like the Fatui or other Harbingers, etc) or ship wars that I won't touch.

Lore wise, this happens too when making comparisons with other titles of the same company. Like many others, I, too, have eyes and may notice similarities here and there between different games under the HYV brand. There isn't a problem with that either. But it becomes a problem when people bring concepts of different games into Genshin and, even if what they say can't be applied because it's factually wrong and there is objective proof of it, they become stubborn to the point that they won't listen to reason and blame you for not knowing enough or for sleeping on the lore. I could talk about the general perception of my own muse and what surrounds him too as another reason why I'd rather stay away from the fandom in terms of association, but many of the points I've already discussed here can be extrapolated to what concerns me directly as a Dainsleif RPer already.

Similarities:

we are usually logical/rational, but also have very strong feelings, and sometimes those conflict.

health conscious and yet, not necessarily great at always taking care of self.

we’re more introverted than extroverted.

we are opinionated, and the closer you are to us, the more opinions you will hear. including petty ones.

tend to be equipped or prepared compared to most, I cannot tell you how many tissues/wet wipes/a snack/etc I’ve given other students fhksjhdf.

we highly value life of any form; I have treated injuries/helped take care of sick people and animals. blood doesn’t bother either of us.

basically we both have empathetic caretaker hearts.

but also people are difficult to deal with and socializing is tiring more often than not.

once betrayed in some way/recognizing we’ve been taken advantage of, even if we do care about someone, comfortable trust is not regained easily.

rambling about a passion or due to being nervous is more common for me than him, but he does still ramble, and I definitely believe he did more often when he was younger.

I’ve been told I can be Intense sometimes when it comes to focusing on/tackling a responsibility. coughing.

oh strong responsibility sense but not like, claiming EVERYTHING, claiming our things/what we feel we should be responsible for and being dedicated toward those things. sometimes to the point of neglecting what we would actually like to do.

aligned ratch came from a village that isn’t even named canonically which I read as meaning he has Country Roots, and I am also a country person; maybe I’m self projecting but I rly do think he finds cottagecore appealing too.

we were very similar types of A-making students who took notes, studied, questioned/talked to our professors, and didn’t really party or fall for peer pressure. I am aware this is not a popular opinion for ratch bc many default to ‘party ambulance,’ but it is VERY hard for me to see that applying to aligned, nor is there any actual evidence of it that I can find (outside of a drug-equivalent's influence).

additionally, despite being the same age or younger than most of the people we interacted with as peers, there was ;;; definitely a personal maturity/priorities difference from most of them. aka, feeling older than you are and having trouble socializing casually because of it.

they are not as strong/I am aware of and thus try to keep them contained to be respectful of others, but I do have some controlling and defensive urges too fhkjahfds.

we can and will overthink often and there is no Off switch for it.

but on the other hand, we can also be calm and problem solve/react quickly under pressure, especially if anyone else present is panicking or emotionally hurting.

we have both experienced the loss of what we considered ‘home’ due to outside circumstances we could not change, even though it was not an entire planet in my case, obviously.

the older I get and the more I learn/see about the world and try to survive in it, the more cynical and tired I become; at this point I’m pretty sure if I lived several million years and saw a lot of scrap constantly, I would reach ratchet’s levels fhakjhfsdf.

we both care about the quality of our work/perfectionism to a significant degree and being rushed or learning to say ‘this is acceptable’ is very hard.

Differences:

his science knowledge level is absolutely incredible and I cannot hold a candle to it, I struggle just trying to do research to write him believably. I also think mechanics and such are neat and I do have more understanding of vehicles than average, but that is still no where near equivalent to him.

I can be be creative/find creative solutions to issues sometimes, but I am not an inventor-level of problem solver like him. I can build things if I have instructions or make an entire simple plan first, but I can’t just Do it/modify something quickly.

I am usually able to express how I feel emotionally, he does not always know how or is unwilling to do so.

he is definitely better at multitasking than I am.

I am not ambidextrious but he is.

he is stocky while I am not.

I am not in any medical or science field.

I don’t have ptsd.

I rarely nap.
