as a longtime clone wars fan and pusher, but not in the fandom or on this site, and also with obi wan being probably my favorite character, it was pretty shocking to learn people mainly ship him with commander cody. obviously no hate, that’s totally fine, but i don’t understand how that one became so dominant given the wealth of characters he can plausibly be paired with, especially given there are three he flirts with and/or has an explicit romance with on screen (satine, ventress, maul). i assume codywan shippers formed a strong community on tumblr that has kept the fandom for an old show alive, which is extremely cool and good, but it’s sooo weird from the perspective of a clone wars fan looking into the fandom now.

No one else is going to get this reference but I would like it SO MUCH MORE if Isgarren was played off more like Warden Kuril in Mass Effect 2.

Someone who has good intentions, as far as he's concerned, and THINKS he's doing what's best for the world at large. But he's facilitating horrible shit and letting worse shit happen to make sure the galaxy/Tyria stays safe the way HE wants it to.

I don't want them to keep pushing Isgarren as someone we should trust I want him to have lost sight of the truly important things in the world because of his immortality. He is not omniscient even if he thinks he is but he's labeled himself (and his underlings) the judge, jury, and executioner, much like Kuril did!

I want to show some distrust in him, and the ward. I want the ward to question him too. Does he really know what's RIGHT?

Can you truly understand the world if you've severed yourself from it?

It'd be so much more interesting to me and I really kind of hope they'll do it but...
