Shen Jiu: a baby?? In the river? In this economy?? Nah we can’t have that.

He was also abandoned as a child, so even if he is spiteful Lou binghe was without a mother. And something within Shen Jiu compelled him to pick him out of the river

Meet Shen Binghe.

To the peak lords they see that Shen Jiu the villain. Now have a child?? It’s obviously not his, it has brown eyes and a darker complex and looks nothing like him. But he obviously loves him.

And it’s a prop too! Because the cold snake has now turned into a hissy fit cat that goes along the ‘ all bark no bite ‘ saying. And yes, he will spoil the shit out of Shen Binghe. He’s the peak lords son! No other peak lord had one so obviously he needn’t share the attention of Shen Jin’s martial siblings.

At first Shen Jius relationship with the other peak lords is still rocky, as he doesn’t trust any of them. But gradually as his attitude lessened the hostility of the others too.

He also doesn’t go to brothels anymore except for tea time to gossip and allow Shen Binghe to get adored by his aunties. When he cozy upped with the other peak lords to the tea time and when they accept the lecher rumors is easily snuffed out.

Cue 14 years later and Shen Yuan is thrusted into this world to ensure the families happiness and resolve the plot holes still present [ Shen Binghea parents, the secrets of huan hua palace, etc ]. Currently Shen Binghe is the spoiled young lord of Cang Qiong mountain, excels in everything and is loved by all. So he is a little arrogant in a bingge humble fashion.

Shen Yuan, who is called Lou Yuan in order to fool others [ stupid author, stupid system! ]. And he is accepted into the beast peak, he was pretty much content with his life there, being able to be the head disciple in just a few months. But unfourtnetly he had a mission, and the first one is to befriend Binghe.

But he’s playing hard to get because how is the protagonist this spoiled?! Shen yuan comsiders this is what he wanted all along but why was he Little mean now??

Somehow it was Shen Binghe that approached him first, and all he was doing was trying to catch a seven tailed mouse that wandered. And Binghe had somehow ruined that. Lou Yuan ended up ranting and a holding him for doing that before he realized who he was talking to.

Embarresesd Luo yuan ran away still muttering curses and praying Shen Binghe doesn’t kill him or get his father, the previous scum villain to.

Shen Binghe is in a daze, his legs automatically walk to the bamboo house and he sits in his bed.

Shen Binghe: someone who doesn’t love me at first sight? Yelled at me? Didn’t treat me like a young lord of the sect?? Oh I’m in love

Making Light of a Stressful Situation

i've had an idea for a mxtx crossover

a twitter war between Luo Binghe, Hua Cheng, and Lan Zhan to decide who's husband is the best. i know very little about twitter, but i know about fandom wars and this is a war like none have seen.

anyone can add to this but this is how i think it would go (simplified bcs i'm not that good at this kinda thing)

Hua Cheng is dropping ip addresses, pictures outside their houses, and threatening people's safety. Everyone MUST know (and accept) how great his gege is and no one can get a word in. He has never lost an internet fight simply because the other person deletes their account to get him off their back. He will and has gone too far.

Luo Binghe is the only person on the internet who is equal to Hua Cheng in complete craziness/devotion. However, where Hua Cheng (correct me if i'm wrong) just kinda tries to intimidate people who disagree with him about Xie Lian, Luo Binghe is calculated in how he reacts. Luo Binghe is going to try and get the masses on his side (and with help from Shen Qingqiu's wife beam he already has a few people on his side).

Lan Zhan wouldn't really engage with the other 2 because he knows Wei Wuxian is the best and he doesn't see the point in arguing about it.

honestly this is a little half-baked. feel free to add onto this. the idea has just been in my head for a few days and it needed to get tf out

hi I saw your post about hadestown and bingge and I'm frothing at the MOUTH. I think like how shen yuan started hyperfixating on pidw bingge just fuking becomes a number 1 fan for the performance troupe. What other performances do you think Shen Yuan will xianxia-ify?

SAME. Aaaaaa im so glad you liked that post, im in a similar state over it <33 Bingge went in expecting a vaguely entertaining but ultimately mediocre show and instead got fucking SCALPED. Like instantly obsessed, unable to go back to the way he was before, completely unhinged <3

And aaaurrgh I have this design idea for the Hades actor where throughout the whole show, Hades is wearing a mianguan with so many beads hanging over the front of his face that you couldn't see anything above his mouth. His upper face completely obscured by his crown and the jewels/beads hanging from it. The picture of an untouchable, terrifying, powerful emperor.

But during Epic III, when Orpheus sings the first "la la la", Hades bellows "Where'd you get that melody!?" as he stands from his throne in rage. As he does, his mianguan falls from his head to the ground, revealing the full of his face for the first time. Revealing the face of an angry, scared man.

He doesn't put the mianguan back on for the rest of the show, and he's so expressive that it's no wonder he wore the mianguan all the time.

and as for your ACTUAL ask -- nothing too modern gets xianxia-fied! Hadestown was easy because it already had mythical elements due to being another myth. He just had to rewrite it in a way that would make sense in PIDW. And he doesn't xianxia too many musicals i think, some of them require too much outside context that would be too hard to translate.

Epic I think would be one that gets xianxia-fied, although that's one of the trickier musicals because Jorge has very specific musical motifs behind each character that makes it hard to translate into PIDW -- Hermes' is associated with the harp and the lyre but every time he's in a song he also comes with a very techno-disco-y (???) beat. Plus a lot of other technical aspects as well -- Scylla is the first to come to mind -- that SY's troupe doesn't have the manpower or funds for.

I think it could happen, though! It's just rather tough and it helps fuel SY's decision to keep the musical adaptations to a minimum AND to use musicals that aren't super modern. Hunchback of Notre Dame I think SY could get away with xianxia-fying. Anastasia too. I don't know many plays so I can't say what plays he could xianxia-fy, but he DOES write stage adaptations for some of the stories he tells his troupe, and finds that he really likes it!

It's surprisingly fun coming up with roles, lines, story beats, etc, trying to figure out how he could make this into that. Writing is fun, and the mental challenge that comes with even more so. He loves it!

He makes a stage play telling the story of Hades and Persephone -- albeit altered to fit into Hadestown, rather than the original tale.

And eventually he starts making up his own stories as well -- retellings of myths from PIDW and his world, and things he made up himself to tell certain messages. Rarely does he play a major role in any of these stage plays themselves -- much to Bingge's dismay. It's too much attention for his poor thin face to take! He most often just plays Orpheus. He prefers to stay behind the scenes during plays.

But you can always find him outside the theater when his troupe is in town! If they're not preparing for a stage performance, SY loves going out to tell stories to a crowd! It brings him a lot of joy to watch them sit on the edge of their seats, hanging on to his every word. He especially loves telling stories to children, they get so excited and their interruptions can get annoying sometimes, but its endearing.

And oh, he does love to sing. He's just so very shy about it. It's a miracle that his troupe managed to convince him to be Orpheus -- but that's probably why they waited until opening night to do it. People get so weird when he sings -- it makes him self-conscious. So he only sings when he's alone or around his troupe while on the road.

Oh yeah no, Bingge is OBSESSED with this group. Specifically one mister Shen Yuan who looks so very much like his old teacher, but ISNT him. He's not sure if Shen Yuan is a descendant of Shen Qingqiu's family line, or straight up the man's reincarnation, but at this point he doesn't actually care that much he just needs the man's attention.

It's actual so funny I think. I don't think fan merch exists in PIDW which is a problem, because Bingge WILL resort to stalking. He's going to orchestrate a fan meeting with SY mark his fucking words. He has to see what this man is like when he's not on stage -- is he as pure as the character he portrays? Or is he as rotten as the face he wears.

(It turns out to be the former, and Bingge doesn't know what to do about it. Kidnapping is high on that list. It is SO high on that list.)

I've been watching Lydia the bards Villian Ariel song on repeat. I loved the fact she could congure an illusion of her self do now Jiang Cheng can do it too. And objectively Jiang cheng is the prettiest and looks like everyone's mother so they'd definitely follow him into the sea.

Anyway au explanation,

Wei Wuxian goes crazy due to demonic cultervation and somehow ends up joining the wens. Eveyone one that had an incident when they could have died, they are now dead. They turned into monsters, ghosts and other things beyond what cultervators had to normally fight, now the Wens are on a mission to bring each of these creatures in for Wei Wuxian to experiment on.

TGCF Animation WIP I'm working on (for my cowboy AU). If you're new to my cowboy au or forgot about it because I havent posted in... months... I have a cowboy TGCF au because why not! At the moment I have two au short stories based off of events in the book (bridal sedan scene and Honger falling during the parade), a mini comic (the underwater kiss scene) and two au versions of the first two book covers. This was the same boy who stopped going out because his family reinforced the barriers, even if he knew how to break them. This is the same boy who idolized his family. This is the boy who begged to get what he wanted. The man in front of them told him his answer with no room for argument.

What were they to do? Shen Yuan made his decision. He is staying. And now his family can’t even stop that. They could’ve if Shen Yuan wanted to leave. But now…

“Why? “ Shen Hua choked out. Shen Yuan looked away before turning back to stare blankly at his family, those who had been with him since day one.

“ I’ve made my decision. Lou binghe needs me, I’m the empress of the realm, you know. “ he smiled deprecatingly.

“ THE WHA- “

“Gongyi, may you escort my family to a spare room so they may rest before leaving? “ he said politely, ignoring the faces of his family.

They started yelling protests as Gongyi herded them out. But no matter what they did, they couldn't move out of the cuffs.

When they left through a corridor leading back to the main palace, Shen Yuan sank onto his bed and put his face in his hands. Lou binghe had followed along and sank to his knees in front of the bed.

“Two months. “

“What? “

Shen Yuan looked up from his hands, the edges of his eyes red-rimmed.

“ I’m giving you two months to court me. If you fail, I will go home and I will never see you again. “

Lou Binghe was as shocked as the rest of them, having seen this side of Shen Yuan.

“Yes, my empress. “ Shen Yuan scoffed, but a sad smile played on his face.

“You just made me turn away from my family when they tried to rescue me, “ he poked Lou binghe in the chest.

“But you can’t scare me like that again A-yuan, You got it? “ Lou binghe nuzzled into his thighs, which left tear stains. Shen Jiu huffed when he heard a sniffle that had him scratching his head soothly.

“What is with everyone being so emotional today? “

“ because we worry for you A-yuan. I worry for you. And today I realized how easily I could lose you. I can’t bear the thought. “ tears threatened to fall, and Shen yuan jolted, not knowing what to do. Thinking of a good idea, Shen yuan indulged him in a lot of head pats to calm him down, which worked in the main room.

After Luo Binghe stopped crying and looked up at him all smiles Shen yuan

decided to pop the question. Having assured Luo Binghe was up for it.

ok so my idea is a Shen Jiu x reader and a child wei wuxian. Its very random i know but imagine the angst potention. I only have a rough idea regarding the plot but here are the main points i have in mind

-Shen jiu and reader have a good relationship but the reader is sickly so they are almost never seen outside and have to depend on Shen Jiu with couses him to get a little overprotective

-dispait readers illnes they manage to have a healthy son Wei Ying thet thet they bouth adore(Shen Jiu made an outh to raise him to be extremly respectfull tovards women）

-they have a good family life untill Lou binghe returned from the abyss and they are seperated from Shen Jiu and go in hiding becouse Lou binghe will use anyone and anything to torment his teacher

-reader and wei ying end up in Yiling where reader dies due to theyr illnes but ends up as a ghost thanks to the resentfull energy from Burier Mounds and reader continued to try and take care of Wei Ying

-meanwhail Shen Jiu is tortured to death by Lou binghe but he becomes a ghost as well but he no longer has a filter so he is very volcal about his emotions (mainly anger）

-when Wei Ying is around ten years old Shen jiu and reader meet again whail reader is exploring the forest neer Burian Mounds trying to figure out how to give Wei Ying a comforteble life insted of a curent one and after a reunion between the lovers Wei Ying finaly meets his father

-Shen Jiu now know as Qi rong disaids to teach Wei Ying how to cultivate alowing them to get closer

-when wei ying is fifteen he does to gusu and meets the main gang of mdzs becoming best friends with Nie huaisang and having a frendly rivery between him and Jiang cheng

-wei ying gets in trouble and his parents have to come to guse acidently cousing a scene mainly Shen Jiu who is angry at wei ying for geting kicked out after them trying to get him in so hard and making his 'mom' woried

-whail Wei Ying now Wei Wuxian was in gusu Shen Jiu becomes more known as Qi Rong as he is doing anything he can to get revenge on Lou Binghe becomes a wrath/sevege level ghost almost a suprime and gets added to ghost kings and the four ghost kings becomes a thing (the main diference between She Jiu Qi rong and og Qi rong is thet Shen Jiu is a lot more cunning/he is a streategist and refuses to harm women ghost or human）

-now mdzs plot continues not long after Wei Wuxian the Wen sect attacks yada yada. Now Wei Wuxian gets thrown into burial mounds Shen Jiu found out and goes after him. Now Wei Wuxian actualy died from the fall and ends up absorbing a lot of the resentfull energy and a instantly becomes a wrath level ghost and for the next three months he gets traind by Shen Jiu.

-they leave the burial mounds and Wei Wuxian goes to get his ravenge like in cannon he takes in the inosent Wens/ women and children

-now you may be asking what is the reader doing? managing theritory of course. So whail Shen jiu is gone thraining their son Reader is handeling the politics and making deals with the other ghost kings mainly He Xuan becouse they share a bourder as in my au the burial mounds a next to his theritory so they are forsed to interact from time to time

-now for th second question you may be heaving what about Lou Binghe he is traveling and geting his harem up and ranning and whail he pases by Qi Rongs theritory he hears the stories about the local ghost hing and his Queen at first he doesnt really care becouse why should he but then he hears more and more about them and realises thet the green ghost sounds suspishously like his beloved teacher. A Palace hiden by a bamboo forest thet apired seemingly out of nowhere. then he hears about how all of the slawers have been found skined and hanging upside down creating Qi Rongs iconic forest of heanging corpses and all the slaves have disapired

-Lou Binghe isn´t stupid he knows about his shizuns history so he starts investigating and looking for him so he can torment his old teacher once more. he is surching untill he gets to YIling and by now every one knows about the Yiling Patriach and thet he is sean the most around the city of Yiling and whail Lou binghe rests in one of the ins he lais his ayes on the Yiling Patriarch and indtantly relaise how similar he looks to Shen Jiu his hair, face and even ayes in short an almos a carbon copy of his old teacher the only diference his ayes are gray almost blue

-Wei Wuxian doen´t notise Lou Binghe is folowing him as he goes home Lou binghe only stops to hide when he notises Wei Wuxian calmly walk inside a dark Bamboo forest. Now whail Wei Wuxian doesnt notise Lou Binghe Qi rong does and begans planing almost instanly on how to get back on Lou BInghe/get him out of his theritory

Welp thets all but i still need to figure out how to end it and who to pair Wei Wuxian up with and if to ad beefleaf and more inportantly how to work it out but i will figure it out hopefully soon. anway this is the end of my word vomit. have a good day/night
