Anyway, I personally think Gale would be open to having children when they settled down in Waterdeep, and would even be open to being the one carrying them if his partner couldn't do so for whatever reasons.

Another thought on trans halsin and fatherhood: I also love the idea of him having not considered it worth it, for all these years, to go through the dysphoria and stress of a pregnancy. Having to explain to a partner that he’s trans at all is usually more than he bothers with, and letting them fuck around with his vagina? No way

But I can see that maybe after the events of the game, after falling in love with [whoever] and really getting to be vulnerable with them, he might be willing to truly let them see him, and gods, he wants a child of his own so badly….

And he loves being able to feel their cub growing in his belly. He loves having his lover rest their hand protectively on the swell of his stomach and knowing that their little one is inside him.

And when the babe is born, well, he’s never known such joy as looking down into the eyes of his own child, knowing that he put in the work to make that, knowing that they’re his and no one will ever be able to take that from him

I think it’s so sweet you can get engaged to Gale in the game and I love the idea of him and Tav starting a family after returning to Watersdeep. You can bet your ass that Tara is protective of her new charge to boot, hehe.
