spotify | john marston's revenge quest, set to music from 1960s spaghetti westerns.
Fun detail: the opening cutscene for Red Dead Revolver (2004) features an instrumental version of "His Name Is King". The lyrical version is oddly fitting for John, given that it's a song about seeking vengeance for a dead brother.
#red dead#rdr2#john marston#arthur morgan#pardner playlists#pardner posts#tagging arthur in this bc even tho its a john-centric playlist.. its about the way john grieves arthur#y'all know me !!! im always a sucker for a revenge story!!!#so i cant help but dwell on johns attitude of ~i will throw away my chance at a future because i'm stuck in the past grieving you~#like thats a banger. thats a good revenge story. the ultimate act of devotion is also an ultimate act of betrayal.#this is admittedly a kind of pulpy playlist and im embracing that. im a fan of 'horse opera' westerns and im attaching that to epilogue joh#anyways. all the songs on this playlist were released btwn 1966 - 1971 so its definitely a vintage vibe.#i tried to match that vintage energy with the graphic design. the cover art is screenshots of rdr2 that i've /heavily/ edited in photoshop#i wanted the images to look like those oil and/or acrylic paintings done for old movie posters#it took a lot of filter adjustments and paint-overs to get to this stage. i spent a lot of time on it. (please clap)#i initially wanted john to be wearing arthur's hat for this but . hdkhjdf ran into some difficulties sourcing usable screenshots.#i refuse to accept unmodded epilogue john as canon. i dont know what you think that thing is but that is not my son etc etc.#its jmrp or bust for me#most of the jmrp screengrabs i could turn into a workable composition featured the john hat so i just went with that. unfortunate but mehh#sidenote. plz click for quality bc a lot of the paint texturing in these covers gets lost in the compression#alight yall. have fun with the playlist !! lmk if u end up giving it a listen.#rdr2 spoilers#🤠#art

(incoming yap fest + tw for mentions of emotional abuse + neon genesis evangelion/power rangers dino charge spoilers!!)
honestly as controversial as misato is in the eva fandom the amount of material in "the case of misato katsuragi" that is applicable to kendall morgan is actually insane
"Because I have no Daddy; because I have to be good and not bother my Mommy. But I don't want to become like my mom; when my father's not here, she always cries. I can't cry, I can't depend on anyone else. So I have to be good! That way, maybe my father won't hate me so much. I hope. Maybe my father won't hate me if I be good."
this is me treading into hc territory but the likely reason why kendall is so stoic and controlled throughout prdc (and why her parents were never mentioned even in the presence of her grandmother) could be because she was abused as a child. she was always taught to trivialize and control her own feelings for the sake of others or her goals, which was only further worsened by her intelligence, weaponized against her by parents who wished to exploit it in order to exalt themselves as the proud parents of such a gifted child. and like any young child who has no one but their primary guardians to rely upon, who has no one to love but their parents, kendall took these "lessons" (emotional abuse) to heart and became the well-behaved, composed child any parent would want (and developed into the equanimous, deadpan, repressed figure in her adulthood that we see in the show) all at the (likely) expense of her mental health.
"But I hated my father... and I hated being a good child. I hated it... I'm tired of it, I'm tired of wiping myself clean. I'm tired of pretending to be pure and noble. I'm so tired of it all! I want to disgrace myself, to get so dirty that no one can stand it! I want to see my life and my reputation ruined!"
like any repressed, emotionally abused child raised in such a stifling environment against their will, kendall grew to absolutely hate how she was raised and yearned to rebel against the people who abused her. this could also cross into the show, having to shoulder being tech support for the rangers, having to bear the weight of expectations from people like them and keeper, and having to keep the museum afloat as its curator. a common pattern presented throughout the show is kendall being presented as someone to be looked up to. the stolid team mom who must always have the answers and always be flawless in her technology and museum affairs, or everyone else will suffer. it's as if the fear mongering that had been pushed onto her as a kid finally became a terrifying reality, that she really can't express herself as much as she wants because there are too many people who rely on her, and she's tired of it. she wants the freedom, impulsivity and spontaneity that comes with rebellion, to no longer be the noble, intelligent, phlegmatic figure whom everyone can lean on while she practically has no one. this reputation she has does not feel entirely like herself (never really did) and was pushed on her against her will. why would she emotionally want to hang onto it?
"The 'me' who is recognized is the 'me' who is performing a role in order to be appreciated, but she's not the real 'me'."
however, kendall's fatal mental flaw is that deep down, she still craves the praise she gets from those who rely on her, much like she did when she was a kid. no matter how straining this persona is on her mental health, no matter how spurious it is, she still needs affirmation. this crosses over into her being neglected throughout season 1, her never getting the opportunity to be a ranger until super late into s1 despite being one of the very first people selected by keeper to find and safeguard the energems, and essentially being the raft that keeps the rangers technically and emotionally afloat (coming between conflicts and stabilizing matters, having to constantly develop and adapt technology against sledge's monsters). kendall is putting in all this work and it's barely, if ever, affirmed until she becomes a ranger, and is barely even affirmed afterwards. kendall is ambitious but her position forces her to be stagnant. she is relied upon but barely appreciated (especially from a viewer's perspective given the neglect of her character by the writers).
i do wish to clarify that i don't believe the rest of her team intentionally overshadows kendall and aren't malicious with it in the slightest; it's her reputation as the levelheaded one that instinctively causes the others to lean on her, further exacerbated by her reluctance to reach out for help, a product of her (likely) trauma. kendall has so convincingly played this part that the rangers hardly think to ask if she's okay, assuming she's always okay. if she isn't, she finds her own way out of it because she's that capable. that's just kendall. ofc i wish there were more scenes of them checking on her since she is their close friend and ally but it's been 8 years since dino charge wrapped up & that's probably not gonna happen.
this is partially my fixation crossover brain going crazy (as i adore purple-themed team mom figures) and my anger at the amount of introspective character study and development potential kendall (as well as ivan and koda) possessed, only to be overlooked by the more conventional plotlines of other, more cliché characters.

https://archiveofourown.org/works/58081114 by webss312 “You…” Tony’s eyes narrowed. “Where are you staying, then?” he asked, carefully, like he was afraid of the answer. “May is staying in one of the post-snap womens’ shelters down the street from our old apartment,” Peter responded, watching as Tony’s shoulders relaxed incrementally at the mention of May— before tensing up again when Peter didn’t continue. “And you?” his mentor prodded, though knowing that the non-answer in and of itself was answer enough. “Rooftop on 53rd, when I’m lucky.” OR: The Endgame fixit wherein I a) make everyone live, b) simultaneously traumatize Peter further by making him homeless due to his scroungy resourceful stubborn traumatized self-sacrificial self, and c) actually deal with the countless ramifications of bringing back half of the entire world’s population in a single instant— as seen through Peter’s eyes as he helps the city as Spider-Man. not at all what I normally post, but I just have to talk about this book. As an amateur Arthurian nerd who is slightly out of practice, this book was amazing. Now granted, the King Arthur Brainrot has been on the downlow for a bit for me, but safe to say I'm back into it. I picked it up on a whim and finished it in record time (I don't have the time/energy to read like I used to) so I know it's good. It's so refreshing to read something Arthurian by someone who gets it??? Like.... so much good stuff here. we have:
Kay centric narrative (!!!)
Historical accuracy for the 6th century! (mentions of no plate armor, accurate weapons, place names, romans, saxons, etc)
Galehaut (who I didn't even know existed but am now obsessed with. what do you mean he acted like a romantic rival to Gwenhwyfar??? (as her name is spelled in the book))
on that subject, queer Lancelot
Warrior King Arthur (who swears like a sailor and is depicted in a unique, almost negative light)
Glastonbury Tor as a central location (yes I know he was "buried" at the abbey but the tor is so iconic)
calling the sword from the lake Caliburn rather than Excalibur
Neutral Morgan le Fey/Morgana figure (sorta net positive I guess)
Christopher Marlowe is here
probably more stuff I'm forgetting tbh
anyways please someone go read this book. It's very good I promise. Especially if you're an Arthurian nerd. You can tell the author had all of this knowledge and decided to write about it, rather than an author who decided to write about an Arthurian topic then researched it if that makes sense.

I’ve been relatively quiet about Tales of the Empire, but it’s been secretly eating my brain, so let me give you my two cents…
We learned virtually nothing new about Morgan Elsbeth. She engineered the advanced tie fighter. That’s about it. Everything else we knew. I didn’t hate the episodes. I just found them to be underwhelming.
But then, we got Barriss, and I had a lot of feelings about that one.
Firstly, I kind of assumed that they would take the Inquisitor route with her. I knew that they wouldn’t retcon her into the seventh sister, but I also knew that was her ticket out of prison. I didn’t hate it, hate it. I didn’t get it. The Inquisitorius was everything that Barriss stood against in the Temple bombing arc, but the will to live is a powerful drug, I guess. It wasn’t badly done. You could tell that she wasn’t fond of anything that she was doing. She wasn’t getting off on using the dark side. She was just trying to survive, and I respected that.
Second, I was happy to see them give her the redemption arc that she deserved. It’s an interesting take that she continued to play along with the fourth sister after she slaughtered that whole ass village, but then a switch finally tripped when the fourth sister attacked that non-binary Jedi after they surrendered. I think it was one part opportunity, but another part the fact that Barriss was also tired of running and being alone. Also, I love the fact that they slipped in a non-binary Jedi character into this.
Third, Barriss becoming an old butch healer in the last episode was exactly what I would imagine her doing after her moment of redemption. I believe her insane accelerated aging was in part due to her giving her life force to heal those that needed her, but also to atone for her past mistakes.
I’m not 100% sold that the woman that she sent the family with the force sensitive kid to was Ahsoka. It seems to be likely implied? I don’t know. I just think Ahsoka is still too bitter about what happened to her in her series to have made peace with Barriss (I could be wrong), but also, I struggle to imagine Ahsoka even having “coordinates” at that point in the timeline for anyone to track her to. Maybe this was in the post Vader duel times, and Ahsoka was on Lothal with Sabine training? Maybe Barriss had the space equivalent to Life 360 on Ahsoka like Bo-Katan obviously does? Eh. There are possibilities, I guess. That is a reunion that should absolutely be something fandom sees. We’ll likely never get it is because it would be gay (flamboyantly so after everything *gestures vaguely*).
And lastly, that ending…. Why?
I mean, my fear going in was that she would die unceremoniously at the hands of the fourth sister and what likely happened? Her last act on the living plane was to save an Inquisitor from Kenobi that few really cared about? Come on. I guess it was ambiguous enough that they could bring her back into future stories, but they slept on her for over a decade. My hope for her, at this point, is that she shows up in whatever animated show is next (my thought is that it will be a Ventress centric show that may or may not have anything to do with the path… I struggle to see Ventress getting tied up in saving force sensitive kids, but who knows), her popularity grows and she ends up showing up in the Mandoverse to haunt Ahsoka.
A girl can dream.

for your curiosity, (OR BEFORE YOU VOTE. EVEN.) a lil summary of each WIP is below if you wanted more details before voting <3 (and perhaps consider reblogging so others can vote too? 🥺👉👈)
"Dead Girl Walking" - Prequel to 'Maneater'. Would again be very dead dove do not eat. Dark themes. Pre-marriage. Stalking. Gathered inspo from THE DINER by Billie Eilish. Mostly from Erwin's POV. Mostly vibes rn tbh.
"Devil's Inferno" - Sequel to 'The Devil's Favorite'. Reader moves away from secretary into muse. Fashion show will make an appearance, as would the paparazzi. In my head this is also mostly vibes.
"Prologue; Dusk" - Part 1 to what I hope will be a 7-8 part series. Based off the video game 'Until Dawn'. Would take place about ten years after the events of the game. Would be very plot-centric, includes the attack on titan veterans (Levi, Hange, Erwin, Mobilt, Miche, Nanaba) as the main cast.
"105 AC" - The first part of a house of the dragon series. Selfship inspired, Harwin lives AU. Reader could come off a bit op but that's half the fun. Will be written with each part being a year in the life of Reader. Will have very hotd-type of dark themes included.
"Candle in the Dark" - So far only one part, if it were to be more it would come across like a drabble set. Reader is married to Gwayne, and adores her neices and nephews. Basically would be what hotd would be like if it was nice to Helaena. (I'm just projecting. I want to be married to Gwayne, and I want Helaena to live without pain.)
Notable mentions are; the next part of "the kings gambit"; the next part of "the girl who knew the end"; arthur morgan fic called "wandering star"; pacific rim au bakugo fic. (if you've voted, but would still like to see one of the mentioned fics being published, please lmk. I'll have no reason to post them if I don't know anyone want's to read them T-T)

5, 20, 34, and 36 for the ask game!!!
BLUE! 💙💙💙💙💙 It is always a pleasure receiving asks from you ☺️ thank you!!!!
Original writer ask questions are linked below, please reblog fellow writers and play along with us! ☺️
5.) Quote one of your fics out of context.
“Barriss makes a noise like a mix between a whine and a groan.”
20.) What was the last thing you researched for a story?
The names of various Star Wars planets to use in the near future.
34.) What title do you want to use, but can’t figure out a story to fit?
“The Way Out”, the moment I heard this in TOTE I knew I wanted to use that phrase for a future Barriss centric story, I just haven’t decided what that story is going to be yet.
36.) Have you ever written a fic because you were inspired by a song?
The whole Padawans story was inspired by the song “Birds” by Audrey Morgan as I feel the lyrics perfectly describe how I think Barriss processes her guilt and how she views herself post Wrong Jedi as well as “The Wrong Side of Heaven” by Five Finger Death Punch.

Fic Writer Asks!
🥺🛒⛔💖🏆📈
🥺: Is there a certain type of moment or common interaction between your characters that never fails to put you in your feels?
Barry & Morgan 🥺 I literally love them sm, I get emotional writing any scene of them. My sweet surrogate siblings 💞
🛒: What are some common things you incorporate in your fics? Themes, feels, scenes, imagery, etc
“power of love” and “found family” mostly! I love focusing on gen/platonic relationships especially, and platonic intimacy is so fun for me to write (and read!) 💞
⛔: Do you have a fic you started, but scrapped?
Quite a few 😅 the ones that come to mind are a Hawk-centric s4 fic (Cobra Kai) and a post-NWH “FOS trio ends up in A New Hope” fic (MCU Spidey/Star Wars)
💖: What made you start writing?
Got inspired/encouraged by my 6th grade English teacher after we had to write a story using vocab words 🥰 it's stuck with me to this day
🏆: What's your most popular fic?
Ooh there are a few different metrics for this, so I have 3 answers!
Sorting by kudos: “it feels impossible (it’s not)”
Sorting by comments: “you will find me (time after time)”
Sorting by bookmarks: “won’t wait for time (we’re living for tonight)”
📈: How many fics do you have?
155 so far!

Morgan Jerkins at Mother Jones:
Last year, despite minding other people’s business online, I didn’t know what a “trad wife” was. Now it seems like every time I log in to Instagram or TikTok, there is another video of a beautiful woman cleaning her home or making an extraordinarily long and needlessly difficult meal. These trad wives, short for traditional wives, are women who post online content showing themselves adhering to patriarchal gender roles while keeping house and raising children—and making it look easy.
[...] I wanted nothing to do with her or any self-identifying trad wife in my own small piece of digital real estate, but their immense popularity (and algorithmic dexterity) had allowed them to trespass, and I find myself unable to turn away. Chances are, neither can you. But while it might be easy to write off the trad wives as a silly meme or a guilty pleasure, they should not be taken lightly. Given the misogynistic messaging and white-centric ideals some of these influencers peddle, they are indicative of larger forces at play—henchwomen in an ongoing effort to functionally erase modern women from the public sphere.
To fully understand the rise of the trad wife phenomenon, it helps to look at its origins. In some ways, trad wives resemble the mommy bloggers of the mid-aughts to early 2010s. Back then, momfluencers like Dooce’s Heather Armstrong and Catherine Connors of Her Bad Mother commanded massive audiences through confessional posts about breast pumps and postpartum depression. As writer Kathryn Jezer-Morton pointed out in a 2020 New York Times piece, mommy branding was different back then: These bloggers were messy; they did not hold back in revealing all of the stickiness and ugliness in their matrescence. But then the vibe shifted. In 2016 and 2017, when Seyward Darby was doing research for her 2020 book, Sisters in Hate: American Women on the Front Lines of White Nationalism, she noticed an ominous subculture gaining prominence, one in which women were performing this highly curated image of wife- and motherhood. “It was aggressively anti-feminist, anti-diversity; some of it was proudly pro-white,” Darby says. Trump’s rise helped give these women a larger megaphone.
Of course, many influencers bragging about being stay-at-home moms are not white supremacists, but, as Darby points out, “it is a slippery slope—and sometimes there’s no slope at all—between ‘I’m just a nice woman who wants to be a wife and mom’ and having a very white nationalist agenda. Whether they realize it or not, those are the waters they are swimming in.” Watching trad wife content can pull viewers into territory they didn’t expect. “What’s scary is that there is a subtext in all these videos,” Washington Post tech columnist Taylor Lorenz tells me. For example, a trad wife might advocate for “natural living” or homeschooling, and then veer into anti–birth control rhetoric or religious indoctrination. “When you engage with these videos, because they are so adjacent to fascist, far-right content, you are quickly led down a rabbit hole of extremism.”
Not all trad wives have direct links to the far right. But what unites them is a romanticized vision of domesticity, or, as Darby calls it, “June Cleaver 1950s cosplaying.” As self-proclaimed trad wife Estee Williams, who rejects any associations with white supremacy, declared in a 2022 TikTok video, “We believe our purpose is to be homemakers.” It’s not simply about looking pretty. Their aestheticizing of housework is a throwback to the mid-20th century, when women weren’t even allowed to get a credit card or a loan. Publications such as Ladies’ Home Journal were responsible for promoting a certain kind of wife as a way to reestablish social order after World War II, when many women had entered the labor force. As Ann Oakley puts it in her 1974 book, Housewife, “a good wife, a good mother, and an efficient homemaker…Women’s expected role in society is to strive after perfection in all three roles.” Most trad wife content is marked with this desire for perfection.
[...]
So why are many millennial and Gen Z women an eager part of the trad wife audience? Here’s my theory: We’ve given up. The popularity of the trad wife content is demonstrative of a psychological resignation. In the past several years, we’ve experienced a pandemic, the fall of Roe v. Wade, and the end of the Girlboss Era. The rise of the trad wives marks what Samhita Mukhopadhyay, author of the 2024 book The Myth of Making It: A Workplace Reckoning, believes is “a response to the failures of a neoliberal workplace feminism” stretching from the 1960s to the present day—one that focuses on individuality. “What women fought for was an entry into the workplace,” Mukhopadhyay explains, but “being a mother in the workplace was almost untenable.” Even after decades of supposed progress, she points out, “we’re still not paid equally, and most women still don’t have resources commensurate with how hard they work and how they contribute to their families.” According to a 2023 report from the liberal research and advocacy organization the Center for American Progress, women were 5 to 8 times more likely than men to work part time or not at all because of caregiving responsibilities. Maya Kosoff, a content strategist and writer who admits to me that she has become obsessed with trad wives herself, says their popularity is “a reaction to perceived systemic failures” that seem like they “can be easily solved by turning to the simpler life of homesteading.”
And look, escapism isn’t anything new. When life gets harder, it’s only natural that one would daydream about a different time. But fantasies are dangerous when the stakes are so high for American women right now. We have only started to feel the effects of the Dobbs decision. “We have not seen how bad it’s going to get as women are pushed out of public life over the coming years,” journalist and MeToo activist Moira Donegan tells me. “Our main educational institutions, our workplaces, our elected officials are going to start to look more male.” Sociologist Tressie McMillan Cottom similarly argues that attacks on reproductive rights represent an erosion of women’s place in a democracy. “Women only get to be full citizens if they have control over when and how they have babies,” she says. “When that changes, your citizenship becomes vulnerable, so you attach yourself to a citizen: men. I think this reclaiming of being the traditional wife is here so long as there’s a threat.”
Mother Jones does a solid report on the explosion of tradwife culture in the wake of the Dobbs decision, in which abortion bans serve as a tool to drive women out of the workforce.
Tradwife influencers romanticize the 1950s aesthetic, and most of them tend to have far-right political views (especially on gender roles).

❄May Your Days Be Merry and Bright Series🎄
by happyaspie
All of my G rated winter and holiday themed fics in one place!
Peter Parker's December Shenanigans  [1999]
A collection of related short stories that center around Winter/Christmas. Everything from Advent to New Year's Eve. [This fic is a continuation of Peter Parker's October but could also be read alone.]
The Definition of Anything  [2020]
The heater in Peter's apartment goes out on the coldest day of the year and the landlord seemed to be overrun with maintenance requests. Calling Tony to help him out seemed like the next logical solution. After all, he had told him many, many times that he should call him if he ever needed anything.  The man had never really specified what 'anything' meant but he figured that by definition, 'I'm cold and you know how to fix things.', fell into that category. Right?
Secret Sugarplum Spiderling [2020]
Peter has been taking ballet for nearly as long as he can remember and all of his hard work has finally paid off. He's been cast as the Cavelier to the Sugarplum Fairy in his Performing Arts School's production of The Nutcracker. It's a big deal and it's going to take up a good bit of time but... he's just not sure he's ready for his mentor to know about that particular hobby just yet. He's sure it'll be fine ... All he has to do is show up at the studio on time, keep his grades up, make sure to see Tony on a regular enough basis that he doesn't worry and try to squeeze in some patrolling in between. It's that simple. Right?
Holiday Traditions [2021]
When a brief misunderstanding leaves Morgan thinking that Peter doesn’t like Christmas, Peter decides that it would be fun to teach her more about Hanukkah. In order to do so, he and May invite the Starks' to share in some of their holiday traditions.[This story is part of a post-Endgame AU. However, it can easily be read on it's own!]
Well, Merry Sickmas, I Guess [2021]
Peter is sick, Christmas is right around the corner and May had no idea how to help him. Naturally they end up in Tony’s medbay. It doesn’t take long for Peter to be diagnosed with nothing more than some mild dehydration and a nasty stomach bug. However, knowing she can’t take Peter to just any hospital should things go downhill, leaves May feeling a little nervous. …And that’s how Peter and May end up spending the holiday with Tony Stark in his Penthouse apartment. [12/14] Now featuring a short and completely unplanned Bruce Banner centric chapter 2!
Merry Stitchamas  [2022]
All Peter wanted to was to cook May a really nice dinner for when she got home from her Christmas Eve shift. He'd thought it out and was excited to put it all together-- until the knife slipped and he accidentally cut his thumb. The good news is, he knows exactly who to call.
“Hey, Mr. Stark!” Peter greeted with as much enthusiasm as he could pull together given the circumstances. “I, uh, I know it’s Christmas Eve and all, but can I ask you a really quick question?”
Calm Still Night  [2022]
Just a quick fic about Tony enjoying the Penthouse's warm Christmasy atmosphere with Peter by his side.
Seeing is Believing  [2022]
Young Peter Parker, who has started doubting the existence of Christmas Magic, is given the opportunity to board a train heading for the North Pole. The entire night is one big adventure as he meets new friends, makes some spontaneous decisions, and has the best, most magical time of his life. [This fic is based on the film version of The Polar Express. However, you don't have to have seen the movie to enjoy the story!]
Snow-cation [2023]
After Tony's elaborate family winter getaway plans are grounded due to the early arrival of some snow, Peter does his best to make sure everyone still has a good time. Especially Tony, who seems more than a little put out by the disruption.
Toasty Warm  [2023]
Peter comes to the tower after a night of patrolling in the cold- with a broken heater. Tony helps him warm up, with hot cocoa and warm blankets, and a hoodie straight from the dryer.
🆕 Best Night Ever  [2023]
Peter’s been promised a night of ice skating. At first, things didn't go quite as he planned. But in a joyful turn of events, he ends up having a night filled with unexpected surprises, a walk in the snow, the promised ice skating adventure and several heartwarming moments. It all wraps up with a few holiday treats and a lot of family bonding.
✨Coming Soon! ✨
Santa Impersonator Happy [Dec. 14th 2023]
Happy walks into the F.E.A.S.T. building prepared to drop off a check and leave. Then Peter uses his big brown eyes to convince him to stay and help out. He just wished he'd asked a few more questions before agreeing.
"Santa. You want me to dress up as- Santa?
How Spidey Saved Christmas [Dedc. 20th 2023]
After rescuing a few stolen shopping bags, Spider-Man stumbles upon Santa Claus and his damaged sleigh in Central Park. With Tony's help, Peter is able to get Santa back in the air, thus saving Christmas. As an added bonus, he’s able to get Tony back the nice list as well. Santa thanks Peter by inviting him to assist in delivering some gifts Including the ones he’d saved! Together, they fly through the night, spreading holiday cheer. "Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!"

As if nothing happened (life goes on)
https://archiveofourown.org/works/57773563 by Why_am_i_still_here By the time he makes his way to Mr. Stark, he’s half gone, like a shitty Hammer Holo-Projection from 2011. Peter tries to hold onto his leg only to be met with some kind of weird ashes. His hands move before he can even process it, running away from the Iron Man Suit like it burns him. “Pete...”, Mr. Stark is talking to him, eyes half closed and breathing loudly like he can’t catch his breath. Peter can barely hear him over the sound of his blood rushing through his veins. “Mr. Stark, wha-” “Tell them… Tell Pep and Morgan I love them, Pete. So much... I love you guys so much…” ******************************************************************************************************************************************************** Infinity war au: Tony gets dusted instead of Peter.
