The Moon and the Blue Glass Raindrop. In the sky hung the Moon. That was nothing new. It hung there every night. But now, it has a friend. A Blue glass raindrop that keeps it company. Some wondered how it got there. Some wondered if it would stay. And some just wondered. How it was created; The Moon is cut with a hand saw from a 24 gauge piece of copper. Two thin strips of copper are attached to the copper using a copper rivet. The top copper is then riveted to a bottom 24 gauge copper piece. The moon is painted on the bottom copper using glass enamel and fused in a 1500-degree kiln.
