I don’t waste time on things that don’t serve me, because I know exactly where my energy needs to go. My day is a symphony of productivity, every task executed like I’m winning a gold medal in efficiency.

The key? I know my worth and I know my time is the most valuable thing I have. If something doesn’t align with my goals or elevate my life, it gets cut—immediately. I prioritize what moves me closer to my dream life, and I don’t apologize for it. Other people may be “busy,” but I’m always “productive” because I’ve learned the art of doing what matters. So, while they’re still figuring it out, I’m over here creating a life that’s nothing short of extraordinary. Keep up, darling.

1. Know Your Worth and Don’t Waste Time on the Unimportant: If it doesn’t bring you closer to your goals or level up your life in some way, don’t entertain it. Time is money, darling, so treat it like gold.

i understand why ppl don’t believe quackity rlly didnt know abt the working conditions with the admins, it’s his server, he should be overseeing everything, etc etc. but i think many ppl aren’t taking into consideration how massive of a project the qsmp is and how big the team is. on top of the roleplaying admins (eggs, capys, bunnies) there’s likely lots of offscreen admins, builders, mod devs, writers, artists working on the project as well. it makes total sense to me for q to have hired and trusted ppl to handle parts of quackity studios that he a. didn’t have time for b. didn’t have the experience to make the best decisions for or c. that he just didn’t want to do. at the end of the day q is a content creator and yes that means he also is a businessman and yes he owns quackity studios but he’s also shown himself to be INCREDIBLY busy and things like managing finances, vetting, hiring, and paying out employees takes a lot of time and can go super wrong if he didn’t have the knowledge or experience regarding how to do such things. he’s also shown himself to be pretty hands off with a lot of the server administration stuff, afaik he still isn’t op’d on his own server which makes sense bc he does have a team running things behind the scenes. i worked administration in a small office a while back and we had plenty of miscommunication issues bc my boss didn’t handle every part of his business. he didn’t even know how much i was being paid bc he had hired someone else to do the onboarding, offboarding, and payment for employees. even tho our team consisted of like 13 ppl at any given time, there were still miscommunications. and we were all seeing each other in person! we weren’t even dealing with differing time zones or different languages.

at the end of the day, q is young and inexperienced. he trusted the wrong ppl to handle parts of his business. all we can hope for is that things change for the better, the whole quackity studios team gets paid fair wages, have stress loads taken off of them, and feel safe and comfortable continuing with the project. i rlly hope pommes admin comes back bc the qsmp wouldn’t be the same without her even if another admin took the place of pommes character. idk if lea would want to come back but i feel like the door should be open for her too and she still deserves compensation for the work she did in her time working on the team. i have high hopes that things will get taken care of and some restructuring happens within the company

I worked in healthcare for the last 2 years and decided I wanted flexibility and more opportunity. I’m in luxury real estate and yacht sales, but I have a few strategic investments that keep my money working while I focus on building my career. My career is all about creating a life that most people can only dream of—and I’m just getting started (I’m about 8 months into it). I don’t settle for mediocrity, and you shouldn’t either. If you’re not aiming for the top, what’s the point?

Here’s my advice: become obsessed with being the best at what you do. In luxury real estate and yacht sales, you’re not just selling properties or boats; you’re selling an entire lifestyle—the lifestyle. If you can’t match the level of excellence your clients are seeking, then you’re already losing. People buy from the person who embodies what they want, so become that person. Your energy has to reflect the caliber of the product you’re offering. Let’s say you’re a doctor or a nurse: sorry but I’m not going to take my health seriously if my doctor or my nurse looks like they don’t take care of themselves. No matter the job or career you have, you have to match the ultimate goal of the client or customer you have. The problem is: you can’t fake it. You have to be authentic because people can sniff out fakeness and imposter syndrome quicker than ever these days.

When it comes to your career, don’t wait for opportunities to find you—create them. Every day is a chance to outwork everyone else. Work smarter and harder than anyone in the room. Stay focused, stay sharp, and always push yourself to be better than you were yesterday. Don’t be afraid to stand out. If you’re not standing out, you’re blending in—and I’m sure you didn’t get into this to be average.

And, finally, confidence is everything. Own what you do, and be unapologetic about it. You deserve success, so start acting like it. Never let anyone make you feel like you don’t belong in the room with the most powerful people in the world. You’re already at the top—you just have to keep reminding the world of it.

shot in the dark has so many great little character things that are jokes but not, but one of my favorites is shawn's habit of renting places that are not apartments because they're defunct businesses because the rent is cheaper. lines up nicely with his history of odd jobs that he does because they look interesting and then he gets bored of. and it also tracks that he wouldn't live somewhere longer than a year despite having the means to do so, because what's he gonna do with an apartment??? cook dinner in it???? his dad hatessss this but short of actually dragging shawn to see prospective places there's nothing he can do, and this is an activity neither of them would enjoy. so like he currently lives at a dry cleaner's that still has a moveable clothes rack. and is breathing in probably so many toxic chemicals every day
