Guys I... I think my Molly actually had a part in the new Warriors book despite not winning the poll. I'm actually going to cry! :')

I submitted her with the other finalists back when the fans were asked to submit their cats to become a new apprentice. She made it to the poll and, while Wafflepaw won, (congrats, btw! That's amazing!) I noticed one of his friends had a very familiar name and description. If this is the case, Erin Hunters, I love you more than I thought I could! You've made my the happiest woman to see my late cat in your story! And if it's just a coincidence, that's okay too. I still had a huge moment of joy having a character I can project my late childhood cat onto. ❤️

Designs for new cats in A Starless Clan: Thunder! They're all Cats of the Park. First is Rook and Scruff, Riverstar's No. 1 fan and an old guy that's kinda cool actually. Next is Wafflepaw!!! And... Wasp? The two that Frostpaw and Nightheart took back home. After is Bee, Frostpaw's therapist, and Molly, a cat with "a clever sense of humor". Then Chalk and Firefly, both ex-kittypets, implied to be mates but could also be taken platonically which is cool. Firefly's tag is meant to be that Minecraft firefly that was never added that was just two pixels. Firefly was pregnant and said she'd name her kits Frost and Night, so I just threw them in there too, why not. Then is Lark and Marlow, and Lark's kits Weevil and Peg.

Finally here are four she-cats that had minor design changes relating to the plot, two aren't from the book but I thought I'd just put them in anyway. These design changes were much too minor for me to justify making whole new fullbodies, so headshots it is 👍 We got Squirrelstar (flight), Sparrowstar (Fur), and Nightstar (RC) for new/confirmed leaders, and Curlfeather with the rare honor of being a Dark Forest cat AND a woman. I think it's just the absolute coolest that Sparrowstar and Owlstar are siblings and became leaders of different clans, not only leaders but both are the 2nd leaders of their clans. You can just feel the potential!!!!

She does indeed! Left is beginning of Arc 1, right is just before the bloodclan battle. She has a big heart motif and the same color pallete as her brother.

So most Hypokits would be actual ones but I couldn’t get the idea out of my head of if Spark and Alder were SquirrelJessy kits. Sp here’s my take on them! Rosyheart and Firebite!

Rosyheart is cis using she/her and ace. She’s a healer and endlessly anxious always tripping over her two paws and falling straight on her face. She’s pink cuz I wanted her to be. She would have the same arc as Alderheart in canon, her relationship with Needletail purely platonic (tho some could counter it as a romance), and losing her a great blow to her heart. I not so subtly made her tail a rose. I think she’d be closer with Twig and Violet and fight a bit more for them as she’s more family oriented having such great parents. After AVOS she’d visit Violet a lot esp when she’s expecting, hearing that one of her kits was named Needlekit actually made her cry.

Firebite is genderfluid using she/he and is bi. Named directly after Squilf’s father Firestar she had heavy weight on his head though she used it to counter the worry about his front legs. She was born without them simple as that. While some tried to tell him she couldn’t be a ‘regular’ warrior he knew that already, she was to be far better then any ole normal cat! He made a few new maneuvers to beat her enemies, the snake strike, where he’d weave and confuse her enemy as much as possible. Would eventually get with Larksong and still have their kits but her arc would be what it should’ve been. She helps get Bramble to step down, fully supports her mom in becoming leader, and has a much better support system when she loses Lark.

(ID- Rosyheart is standing to the left, her fur pink with lots of heart shapes. She is very round with a short rose shaped tail, flopped over fluffy ears, and a fluffy nose bridge. Her eyes are brown and she has a unsure expression as she looks off to the right. Her back leg is up slightly. Her fur is pink with red down her back, hair fluff, ear, tail, and chin. Darker red stripes are on her ears, tail base, down her back in stripes with a heart shape and three petal markings, chest in a heart shape, front legs, and back of her hind legs in three stripes. Light pink is on her chest, belly, nose bridge, inside of her ears, back of her front legs, hind paws, and in the corner of her eyes in a tear like marking. The faint signature “Nightly Ruse” is on her rump. End ID)

(ID- Firebite is a proud orange cat with missing front legs and longer fangs. He has olives with floppy ears, sleek fur with spots tufted fur and scars down his back and nose. Her back legs have his claws out to keep her up and he has a proud expression. She is light orange with darker orange on the middle of his tail, back legs, and over her back end in a pants pattern. Dark red is on his ears, hair tuft, nose, stripes on the side of his face, eyebrow, down her back in striped, tail base, back of her paws in flame like stripes, and on her chest in a flame pattern. Cream is on his tail tip, chin, ear tips, chest, and back paws. The faint signature “Nightly Ruse” on her body. End ID)
