This is the adorable and ever sweet Chips, a big softie of a pupper. He is resting in his favorite dog bed and his favorite color is in the background. Acrylic painting on 24" x 24" canvas. As much as I adore doing bright rainbow portraits, I have to say I really love realistic natural colors too! Especially for the rich golden browns in his fur.
National Puppy Day was this past Saturday, and I think now is a good time to share something I've been meaning to tell you: my family and I got a puppy last month!
Meet Maisy! She is a mixed breed and a rescue puppy from Texas. We've been figuring out what kind of specific breeds she has, but her paperwork and a DNA kit Mom ordered both determined her as at least being part beagle and part basset hound. She is such a goober—so much so that she will move whenever we try to take a picture of her doing something photo-worthy—and an absolute cutie. Although it had been over a couple of years since we last had a dog, it certainly has also been a little over a decade since we adopted a puppy, so my family and I have been quite busy with taking care of her and getting back into the swing of things. Still, I'm looking forward to making all kinds of memories with her. 💖
Hey all! This is for my little guy, Tony. He’s had tummy problems all his life, and just recently came to a diagnosis of chronic pancreatitis. With this came x rays, blood testing, and three days of hospitalization that have all added up into quite the hefty vet bill. My wife and I have set up a gofundme to help cover the costs, as it’s quite a surprise to rack up $2000~ in vet bills in the time of a few days!
I’d appreciate if any of you shared this post around. No pressure to donate, of course, but at least sharing it would be very much appreciated. 💕
Vanished for a bit to take care of a WHOLE ASS LITTER of puppies that got dropped off unweaned 🙃 Funny count though, originally 9... 8 boys, 1 girl 🤣🤣🤣 The other two are ok, they just went to the lady who had already bought them before I got the rest.
Here's six of the seven getting some car time in! We didn't go anywhere, just getting everyone used to being in a car before they go home. Or I start taking them into town for training 💙
Doodled my friend’s dog, Petey. I’ve known him since she adopted him and love that lil noodle to bits. Don’t let that adorable face fool you- he is a scoundrel.
