i don't know who at bandai's marketing department was responsible but they could maybe watch their own anime before they make embarrassing statements about it because there's nothing "up for interpretation" in there. they deserve all the backlash they're getting for this.
you'd literally have to be homophobic or completely media illiterate to think that sulemio's relationship is ambiguous or somehow up for interpretation. 🤡

libs who are intentionally misunderstanding chappell roan's most recent tiktoks are actually so insufferable. she has clarified that she hates trump, clarified that she's voting for harris (none of your business anyway), and stated that both parties are fucked up. she's not "equivocating" she's saying that just because she's voting for harris does not mean she's not going to be critical or turn a blind eye to the failures of the democratic party. she literally sounds like a classic leftist who has lost faith in the two-party system and all these liberal vultures are ready to tear her into shreds for what?? not wanting to endorse a party that's funding a genocide?? not endorsing does not mean "not voting." like get a grip and go outside if you're that offended by what she's saying. at the end of the day, she's just another celebrity.

To give International peeps an idea of what the fuck is happening to the Conservatives in the UK right now, leading up to the July 4th election
In a grand total of only 14 days, the conservatives have done the following on the campaign trail.
Announced the election outside of number 10 in the pouring rain with no plans to use an umbrella or take it inside.
Went to a brewery in Wales and asked if they were looking forward to the summer football, only for staff to respond that Wales didn't make the qualification for the cup.
Person who questioned the PM on Television was actually a plant
Went for an interview at the Titanic Quarter in Belfast and the reporter said "are you captaining a sinking ship into this election?"
Tumblr media
This picture.
Promised a return of National Service which OBLITERATED the young vote.
A top Tory minister instead of campaigning went to fucking Greece.
A Tory minister gave up her own seat and told everyone to vote for the Reform candidate instead.
Three Tories defected to a different party.
Did a PR thing involving the PM dribbling a football and someone commented on camera "he's as good at football as he is as being Prime Minister" (he was terrible).
Former Tory minister suggested on Twitter that once he loses the election he would bugger off to California to be a speaker at GOP conferences like other former Tory ministers have done, and he had to furiously deny the allegations.
He said he'll get rid of poor value for money University Courses and when asked which ones, couldn't name a single one.
Announced the election but were nearly 200 candidates short to compete and are scrambling to find some.
Tumblr media
Hung the flag upside down in their campaign video, which means we're in distress.
youtube
Gave a speech with factory workers, and one woman was so aghast at his bullshit on camera that they sent someone out to stand in-front of her to block her reactions; it has already been satirised.
Tumblr media
A high profile conservative MP called a pollster who was live on air, the pollster answered, telling him that he was going to lose his seat by a massive majority. The MP didn't say anything and just hung up. Again, this was LIVE ON AIR.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
They went campaigning in Hanley, and in the river behind them, the Liberal Democrat party very slowly sailed by on a little boat. The camera man panned the camera away from the prime minister to focus on the Liberals in the boat slowly sailing down the river.
Tumblr media
A new poll shows that for the first time in decades, if not over a century, the Conservatives could be in third place, with Labour (Social Democrat) and the Liberal Democrats becoming the top two parties.
I hope you've been keeping count here, because it's been fourteen days and that is 18 pieces of terrible publicity.

You and Simon had taken a break from 141, to really form a life with him. One night, you decided to be a brat, then ran outside, Simon chasing you. Hunting you. This was consensual of coarse. something about the thrill of being hunted sent an exhilarating chill through you as you ran through the woods of your 5 acres.
"C'mere, ye brat" His voice is thick with his British accent
Simon soon catches you, slinging you over his shoulder and carrying you inside. The second the door is shut and locked, he's fucking you like he wants to be a father.
"SIMON!" you gasp.
He slams you down onto the kitchen floor, your back hitting it with a hard thud, Simon leaning down and kissing you hard.
"You don't get to run from me. Brat."
He flips you over into your stomach, bringing your hips up, and uses his knees to bring yours further apart.
You gasp, the change in position giving you a moments break to breath, but that was short lived until Simon rammed himself into you mercilessly, his dick hard and hitting your g spot everytime.
"Holy fuck simon!"
"Love, you will listen to me. You are mine. I will not stop until you understand that you are mine. I will not stop being possessive over you, and I will not stop making you submit to me"
You soon become a trembling mess, gripping at anything, hell, the kitchen tiles.
"Shh...my pretty little slut...."
He brings his hand around you, rubbing tight circles on your clit, his other hand on your neck, keeping your head up, forcing you to watch yourself in a full length mirror not far from where you lay on the cool tiles.
"that's my girl....fuck..."
He continued to fuck your brains out, only pulling out to see his white slick dripping out of you. The sight makes him feral, his tongue finding its way to your dripping hole.
You can't do anything but whimper and moan, an overstimulated mess.
He buries his face in your sex, not coming up for air.
"you're MINE....i own you...." He grunted.
After he cleaned you up he pick you up off the floor and carries you to your room, where he lay with you, marking your body.
Not too much softer, just less on edge after that.
XOXO tysm for reading!! not proof read!

On Boxing Day pro-Palestine demonstrators met customers at the Zara sale in the Westfield shopping centre, in Stratford, east London. They were not there to wish them the compliments of the season.
‘Bombs are dropping while you’re shopping,’ they chanted, as police stood by to make sure the protests did not turn violent. ‘Zara is enabling genocide,’ their placards read.
Quite what they wanted bargain hunters to do about the Israeli forces bombing the Gaza Strip, they never said. Lobby their MPs? Politicians are on their Christmas holidays. Join the Palestinian armed struggle?  It was unclear whether the shopping centre had a Hamas recruitment office.
But on one point the demonstrators were certain: no one should be buying from Zara. Even though the fashion chain has not encouraged Israel’s war against Hamas, earned income from it, or supported Israel in any material way, it was nevertheless “exploiting a genocide and commodifying Palestine's pain for profit”.
Zara, in short, has become the object of a paranoid fantasy: a QAnon conspiracy theory for the postcolonial left.
The Zara conspiracy is an entirely modern phenomenon. It has no original author. Antisemitic Russians sat down and wrote the Protocols of the Elders of Zion in the early 20th century. There was an actual “Q” behind the QAnon conspiracy: a far-right activist who first appeared on 4chan message boards in 2017 to claim that a cabal of child abusers was conspiring against Donald Trump.
The Zara conspiracy was mass produced by social media users: an example of the madness of crowds rather than their supposed wisdom. The cause of the descent into hysteria was bizarre.
In early December Zara launched an advertising campaign featuring the model Kristen McMenamy wearing its latest collection in a sculptor’s studio. It clearly was a studio, by the way, and not a war zone in southern Israel or Gaza. McMenamy carried a mannequin wrapped in white fabric. The cry went up that the Spanish company was exploiting the suffering of Palestinians and that the mannequin was meant to represent a victim of Israeli aggression wrapped in a shroud.
The accusation was insane. No one in the photo shoot resembled a soldier or a casualty of war. Anyone who thought for 30 seconds before resorting to social media would have known that global brands plan their advertising campaigns months in advance.
Zara said the campaign presented “a series of images of unfinished sculptures in a sculptor’s studio and was created with the sole purpose of showcasing craft-made garments in an artistic context”. The idea for the studio setting was conceived in July. The photo shoot was in September, weeks before the Hamas assault on Israel on 7 October.
No one cared. Melanie Elturk, the CEO of fashion brand Haute Hijab, said of the campaign, ‘this is sick. What kind of sick, twisted, and sadistic images am I looking at?’ #BoycottZara trended on Twitter, as users said that Zara was ‘utterly shameful and disgraceful”’.
To justify their condemnations, activists developed ever-weirder theories. A piece of cardboard in the photoshoot was meant to be a map of Israel/Palestine turned upside down. Because a Zara executive had once invited an extreme right-wing Israeli politician to a meeting, the whole company was damned.
Astonishingly, or maybe not so astonishingly to anyone who follows online manias, the fake accusations worked. Zara stores in Glasgow, Toronto. Hanover, Melbourne and Amsterdam were targeted.
What on earth could Zara do? PR specialists normally say that the worst type of apology is the non-apology apology, when a public figure or institution shows no remorse, but instead says that they are sorry that people are offended. Yet Zara had not sought to trivialize or profit from the war so what else could it do but offer a non-apology apology? The company duly said it was sorry that people were upset.
“Unfortunately, some customers felt offended by these images, which have now been removed, and saw in them something far from what was intended when they were created,” it said on 13 December, and pulled the advertising campaign
That was two-weeks ago and yet still the protests in Zara stores continue. On 23 December activists targeted Zara on Oxford Street chanting , 'Zara, Zara, you can't hide, stop supporting genocide', even though Zara was not, in fact,  supporting genocide. On Boxing Day, they were at the Stratford shopping centre.
Zara has apologised for an offence it did not commit. There is no way that any serious person can believe the charges against it. And yet believe them the protestors do. Or at the very least they pretend to believe for the sake of keeping in with their allies.
Maybe nothing will come of the protests. One could have argued in 2017, after all, that QAnon was essentially simple-minded people living out their fantasies online. Certainly, every sane American knew that there was no clique of paedophiles running the Democrat party, but where was the harm in the conspiracy theory?
Then QAnon supporters stormed the US capitol in January 2021. Will the same story play out from the Gaza protests? As far as I can tell, no one on the left is challenging the paranoia. I have yet to see the fact-checkers of the BBC and Channel 4 warning about the fake news on the left with anything like the gusto with which they treat its counterparts on the right.
To be fair, the scale of disinformation around the Gaza war is off the charts, and it is impossible to chase down every lie. But when fake news goes from online fantasies to real world protests, from 4chan to the Capitol, from Twitter to the Westfield shopping centre, it’s worth taking notice.
Sensible supporters of a Palestinian state ought to be the most concerned. No one apart from fascists, Islamists and far leftists believes that Israel should not defend itself. And yet the scale of its military action in Gaza is outraging world opinion. Mainstream politicians, who might one day put pressure on Israel, remain very wary about reflecting the anger on the streets.
They look at the insane conspiracy theories on the western left and see them as no different from the insane conspiracy theories that motivate Hamas, and they back away.
The Palestinians need many things: an end to the Netanyahu government, and an end to Hamas. But they could also use allies in the West who do not discredit their cause with dark, gibbering fantasies.

The Holocaust survivor introduced herself as someone forced to flee Belgium – the country where she was born – in 1943 and travel “across war-torn Europe and dangerous seas” before coming to the UK in 1947.
“Now, when I hear you using words against refugees like ‘swarms’ and an ‘invasion’, I am reminded of the language used to dehumanise and justify the murder of my family, and millions of others.
Why do you find the need to use that kind of language?”
Ms Braverman responded by saying she “won’t apologise for the language that I’ve used” to “demonstrate the scale of the problem” around immigration.

Say "NO" to Genocide - Call, email, mail your reps (Canada)
Me and my friend spent some time today writing letters to the House of Commons, plus we have been calling MPs daily. I haven't seen too many resources for this floating around on tumblr, so here's a lengthy guide on how to do this plus some sample scripts! Long post ahead since I think it will be most helpful to dump everything in one spot to reference. On desktop, use CTR F/CMD F to search for the topic -> Phone / Email / Letter Mail / Contacts / Demands / Scripts / Fax
Update 1 - Nov 23: Updated emails with "mailto" hyperlinks, edited demands, added fax section, added scotiabank pres fax number.
On the PHONE / General Tips
Introduce yourself and identify yourself as a constituent by providing your postal code or address.
Ask to speak to the MP directly, but do not be surprised if you must speak to the MP’s staff instead. Staff can help move your issue forward.
Give the reason for your call and explain your concern.
Focus on one or two main concerns per phone call. Do not unload on the MP or their staff with all of your political concerns at one time.
Ask clear and pointed questions that require some explanation.
Ask for a commitment to action.
KEEP IN MIND Tips for Calling MPs:
Tell the MP that this issue will matter to you in the next election.
Avoid revealing party affiliation or sympathies. If you show that your vote is already cast for a certain party, the MP may not have the incentive to respond to your requests.
Be as brief as possible while outlining concerns.  Show that you respect their time.
Remain calm and respectful in dialogue. Be willing to work with them.
Follow up: Find out what actions were taken as a result of your call, and respond appropriately.
(Source: CPJ.ca)
CJPME Call Tool - Fill in the form, there will be suggested talking point. The tool will call your phone and then patch you through to your MP. If voicemail, state your concerns in 30 seconds. No address input will default you to call Foreign Affairs Minister Melanie Joly.
EMAIL
Be sure you sign your email with your name and mailing address so they know you are a part of their riding.
You will most likely receive a PR-type response or no response at all, but please still send these. It disrupts operations, and it still contributes to pressuring your MP to act on behalf of your riding.
LETTER MAIL
Mail may be sent postage-free to any member of Parliament at the House of Commons address. You just need to use an MP's full title if they are Cabinet members. Cabinet mebers have "The Honourable" attached to their names.
Postcards are efficient in that they are small pieces of card stock and can be a short message plus demands, no need to get use envelopes.
The Right Honourable Justin Trudeau House of Commons Ottawa, Ontario, Canada K1A 0A6

Summarized from resistance groups such as H/mas, H/zbollah, PFLP (Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine), DFLP (Marxist Democratic Front got the Liberation of Palestine), CJPME (Canadians for justice and peace in the middle east), and other anti-war, anti-imperialist, IRL Palestinians.
Canada needs to...
Call an immediate PERMANENT ceasefire to end bloodshed
Send humanitarian aid to Gaza.
Institute embargo on all military exports to Israel
Close the embassies, and sanction Israel diplomatically and economically.
SCRIPTS
Use these as scripts for calling, emailing, and mailing. I suggest adding some of your own sentences and changing the subject lines (for email) so they don't end up in spam.
Example from Canada: Stop Arming Israel - World BEYOND War
As we mourn the thousands of people in Israel and Palestine who have been killed in the past few weeks we refuse to stand by and allow the only true winners in war — the weapons manufacturers — to continue to arm and profit off of it.
Canada exported over $21 million in military goods to Israel in 2022, including over $3 million in bombs, torpedoes, missiles, and other explosives. - 2022 Exports of Military Goods
Weapons companies across Canada are making a fortune off of the carnage in Gaza and the occupation of Palestine.
This is a call to action. It's time to stop letting these weapons companies profit off of the massacre of thousands of Palestinians. Find a location near you, get friends and allies together, and interrupt their business as usual to demand they stop selling arms and military technology to Israel.
Send an urgent message to demand Canada stop arming Israel and push for an immediate ceasefire to your Member of Parliament, the Prime Minister, and the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, International Trade, and Defense.
Dear [recipient's full name goes here], We are witnessing genocidal violence playing out in Gaza right now. Thousands of Palestinians have been killed, nearly half of them children. With a blockade on water, electricity, fuel and food, a quarter of all buildings razed to the ground, and over a million people displaced, UN experts have denounced Israel's actions as crimes against humanity. Meanwhile, weapons companies across Canada are arming -- and making a fortune off of -- the carnage in Gaza and the massacre of thousands of Palestinians by selling weapons and military technology to Israel. I am calling on you to do two things: to take immediate action to institute an arms embargo on Israel and to ensure Canada pushes for de-escalation and a ceasefire in Gaza. Sincerely,
Script Sample 2 from Palestinian Youth Movement
^This will open up a pre-written email in your chosen email app or site. Fill in the recipient line with the emails of MPs you wish to contact.
Script Sample 3 from CJPME's Email Campaign
^Complete the form to send an email to Prime Minister Trudeau, your local MP, and the leaders of the NDP, Convervatives and Greens. Canada must OPPOSE A SECOND NAKBA and dispossession of the Palestinians in Gaza by pushing for a ceasefire.
Script Sample 3 for mail:
(a mix of mine and a friend's)
I am writing to ask you to take immediate action to stop the genocide Israel is committing against Palestinians in Gaza as well as the onslaught of those in West Bank.
There is blockade on food, water, electricity, fuel, and the use of internationally banned white phosphorus to exterminate Palestinians. Aid is not able to enter Gaza because of this blockade. UN experts have named Israel’s actions as genocide citing numerous war crimes they continually commit.
While over 10k civilians have been martyr’d (4.2k of which are children), Canada has not even been able to NAME such crimes as genocide or call for an official ceasefire. This is not enough.
Canada needs to:
Call an immediate ceasefire to end bloodshed
Send humanitarian aid to Gaza.
Institute embargo on all military exports to Israel
Close the embassies, and sanction Israel diplomatically and economically.
FAX (NEW!)
Using faxzero.com is simple, just follow up the steps on the website. No fax machine required! Tell officials your demands and customize your letter by noting their complicity based on their role as a politician or gov official. Or keep it brief and simple, in large legible letters.
Demands could include:
That you are a “Canadian” constituent That you are demanding an IMMEDIATE AND PERMANENT CEASEFIRE IN GAZA; That you demand a total withdrawal of financial (taxpayer) and commercial support and arms for continued occupation in Israel’s 70+ year occupation in Palestine; That it is shameful that [X] is choosing not to speak up for the deaths of more than 11,000 Palestinians, half of whom are children and thousands of others displaced; That Palestinians like all people, deserve life, dignity and justice; That Israel is breaking multiple international laws daily and Canada MUST meet its international commitment to promote and defend human rights under the Geneva Convention; That not putting these actions in place will harm constituents and undo acts of reconciliation with Indigenous peoples and other marginalized communities in Canada by not protecting the Indigenous peoples of Palestine; That unless there is concrete and everlasting action taken place, that there will be no peace until Palestine is free, and subsequently that you will not be voting for them (if applicable) in the next election.
Sign off with your name, address and postal code (if applicable, furthering that you are a resident on the stolen Indigenous lands otherwise known as “Canada”) Extended fax list: Scott thomson (president of scotiabank) - 416-866-5929 joe biden / whitehouse - 202-456-2461

Thoughts on Angela Rayner as deputy PM?
Honestly don’t care for her at all. Never struck me as remotely interested in the devolved nations.
I imagine Labour’s first insufferable bit of PR will be sending either her or a bunch of Labour MPs to the Edinburgh fringe for a photo shoot. The Irn Bru and shortbread will already be set out for them.

My takeaway from this election
Positive take aways from this general election:
- Labour shift to the right has given minimal gains and cost them elsewhere
- Greens have made strong gains that will serve them well in the long term
- Indie victories have proven Palestine matters to voters
- Wes Streeting almost lost his seat, which is funny
- Labour fucking over left wing candidates did nothing but lose them seats
- FPTP looks dumber than ever.
- A lot of shitty MPs just lost their seat (including a lot of terfs)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Negative takeaways:
- Reforms media attention and capitalisation on Labour/Tory apathy makes them a real threat.
- The right would make major gains under PR.
- Labour doesn't have the vote share or the policy to win this in 5 years time.
- Voter turnout is at an all time low.
- Labour is probably going to shift to the right under these conditions.
- We could see Farage as Prime Minister in 5 (or less) years.
Tumblr media
This Election could lead to good things.
The Greens can make real gains if they capitalise on this. Hell if they offer real change and get media attention they could even cut into reform.
Realistically something far worse is approaching.
Yet, this election has proven what the left can do. When we fight for a seat we can take it. Lets do more.
If you've got a strong left wing indie or a strong green in your constituency, theres no time like the present to see what you can do to support them.
Labour and the Conservatives offer the same old austerity. Reform offers a fascist illusion of change.
Lets make real change.

I can't imagine all the comedians trying to get PR and writing statements - even if they haven't done anything. If I were a completely innocent comedian right now, I'd be amending my will and fixing up six different statements

[...] Canada would support "humanitarian pauses" in the Israel-Hamas war to allow foreign nationals to leave Gaza and permit aid for civilians to enter the territory, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said Tuesday.
"Our priority throughout this needs to be the continued protection of innocent civilians. That's why we're engaged closely with our allies, trying to build humanitarian corridors," Trudeau told reporters. [...]
Trudeau has faced pressure from some members of his own caucus to call for a full ceasefire.
More than 30 MPs — most of them Liberals — wrote a letter to Trudeau last week calling on him to advocate for a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas. [...]
Earlier Tuesday, Defence Minister Bill Blair was asked why the government won't advocate for a ceasefire. He said Hamas, which the government lists as a terrorist organization, likely would ignore calls for a ceasefire. [...]
Note from poster @el-shab-hussein : Justin Trudeau thinks genocide should continue as long as you give its victims a water break. Apparently. One settler colony will always support another. Anyways, historically it has always been Israel that uses the PR cover of a ceasefire to continue bombing Ghazzah and to continue massacring Palestinians wherever they are within Palestine.

Was trying to remember why I didn't like SYSCA very much and yeah ofc holivia!! the evil of the decade lol that whole circus made me dislike so many people around H, who vocally defended that awful woman as if anything related to the pr mess she got into was H's fans fault like dawn oporter and lou teasdale. His whole team turning into her fans like molly, lambert, jeff, all liking and commenting on her posts, all sharing and praising DWD while almost ignoring MP completely. I even lost a bit of admiration for Anne bc why in the world she was still liking OW posts months past the "break up" and after everything Harry went through because of this stunt? (Even if was real, why be friendly with that kind of son's ex?). And yeah ofc I know and understand mechanics of stunting and pretending is just that several stuff seemed unnecessary and like everything about that bs - over the top
I have such a viscerally negative reaction to everything about her, that movie, and that stunt. I was just speaking with @blackandwhlteaesthetlc earlier today about how excited and supportive Florence Pugh is about every movie she's in and every cast/crew/director she works with. The fact that she completely ignored DWD and Olivia speaks volumes about what a mess that movie was.
I really will never forgive Olivia for being such a narcissistic demon that she threw away her family, ignored her film, tried to damage Flo's reputation, hurt Harry's image (although he's to blame there, too), overshadowed the respect My Policeman deserved (again, Harry was a part of that, too), and basically made herself look like a laughing stock, just so she could be Harry Styles' PR girlfriend for two years. What tf was she thinking? I stg I really believe she thought Harry would fall for her and this was her ticket to the A-list.
And I agree with you about how disappointing everyone around H was when it came to their support of DWD but not around MP.
