y'all think making a poem about my professor being a mediocre white man in literature after he called me "faux poetic" will make him fail me🫣
#naur cause im still so mad ab that#the poem i spent the fucking longest time working through each word and line and then he shits on it#in front of the whole class#MIND YOU he also shat on it cause nobody got the references but like 1 person who looked it up#said i shouldve explained more in the poem....and when i said classic poets dont explain all their references#he laughed and said nobody understood it so#like ion know u cant say a poem is bad just bc u dont understand it fully#i would argue most good poetry isnt easily understood but hey he barely even let me get a word in#same prof who always brags ab the black woman poets he's worked with#i rlly just been mad bc even though his opinion DOES NOT MATTER it is still affecting my confidence in my writing and i want him to ***#cause like fuck u
