💐 : What is their courting style? How would they woo someone?

Virelan likes to woo her friends! She doesn't make a concerted effort to pursue someone sexually or romantically unless she knows them well. Her style is a lot of physical affection, if acceptable to her friend — touching their knee or shoulder while talking, hugging them, sitting near them, etc. She always is an engaging listener, but she'll encourage them to talk more. She'd also make them useful gifts based on things she knows they like or would make use of.

👃 : Does your OC smell good? Do they have a signature scent?

It depends 😅 she's the type that smells good while dirty? Like Solas is really into her whole sweaty iron-tang scent she's got going on while fighting or forging (iron while fighting is from blood tho lol), and Iron Bull gets really turned on by her 'dragony' scent after she becomes a reaver, but when she's home she's meticulous about cleaning up. When clean, she smells like her soaps and oils from her bath, which she makes herself from lemon and cardamom.

Absence can be filled in a night.

Diluc is a busy man, that much is obvious. He’s constantly analyzing documents regarding his tavern and confirming what is best for his consumers.

So it's quite hard spending quality time when he's working himself to death. Many broken promises and multiple times being stood up by your beloved. Oh how celestia must have shunned your existence, because as of late, you are in your own company. And what feels like the nth time, you have been left seated at the dinning table by yourself.

How awful this feeling is, the house workers returning to their respective homes and the space sits vacant. You truly were alone.

Diluc has told you over and over again, that no matter how busy he is, he will one day make it up to you.

But how?

How can when he's never present? When will that day be? Perhaps you’re drifting apart, maybe he is hoping you forget it and he can ends things there-

"Y/n."

Cutting off your thoughts you jump, "Oh! good evening How have you been dear?" You shift your body to meet the voice beside you, "How are things regarding tying relations with -"

"I would much prefer if we did not discuss work relations, my love" meeting your gaze he expression remains neutral,

"I don't mean to be passive, but I just can't - sigh doesn’t matter, I am home now, so it is appreciated that we don’t talk of the subject."

Ahh..there it is.

You look down and let out a silent, "Of course." Trying to be polite, you grip your hands in your lap.

It’s always like this. He’s never home and expects you to be okay with this play of routine. There wouldn’t be a problem if he at least spoke with you, but this is the most interaction you’ve had in days. It feels as if he is purposely distancing his moments with you, each time getting shorter.

"Well.. It is quite late, I'll be in the bedroom." He states, walking to place his coat down and leaving the room. Only the sounds of his shoes echoing the large estate, are heard until the door can be heard shutting. He’s only tired from his day y/n it’s okay, he still cares for you, right? You saw him a total of three minutes and he seemed bothered talking with you, like you took all his energy. Maybe you should leave him be, he probably would like to be alone, your thought. So you stay out of his way, allowing him to rest.

But that night, Diluc waited.

He awaited your arrival into the bedroom and hoped to see you next to him, but knew that wouldn’t happen.

Initially, he thought it was foolish that you could be upset, but with every passing minute, it sinks in. He saw his mistake of how he treated you, and felt terrible about the events that played back in his mind.

In all honesty, he wanted to collapse on your body and wrap his arms around your waist. But the topic of work drowned out your previous question and set off his frustration. He left you to sit at the table alone, and it isn’t the first time. He now realizes how much he dismisses you because he’s exhausted, a just reason, but He knows better.

Covering his face with is arm, he exhales deeply. He needs to fix this, this might be the last time he can.

Searching each room, he finds them empty of you. His office included, so when descending the stairs, and spotting your figure laying in the living room, he feels relief that you didn’t decide to leave in the night. Spare blankets lay flat, as your body uses them as a cushion, and a thin sheet sprawled just over your hips. The sight brings a slight frown to his features, so, quietly, he retrieves a duvet for your convenience. Walking over to your closed eyed stated he begins to cover you up, only to spot something, something you’re holding.

It’s quite small, and quite red. Curiously, grabbing the mystery item from your delicate hands, it doesn’t take very long to see it’s a plush.

Of him.

Hand sewn and so endearing, your beloved Diluc’s cheeks are a light pink, how did he find someone as cute as you? Archons he wishes he was around more. Maybe it’s time he accepts that his job doesn’t require him being there 24/7. You are so important to him, if not the most important in his life, he is an awful partner if he can’t even spend a single night without leaving in the night and forgetting you during the day.

Putting the mini diluc to the side, he pulls the duvet over and shuffles to lay with you. Reaching to draw you to award his chest, one arm around your torso, and the other under your head holding your hand. Kissing your jaw before resting his head in your neck, arms tightening as he yearned to hug you close, he missed you. His missed this feeling that was once frequent,

“Are you awake, my love?” He says from behind you, fiddling with your fingers he picks his words carefully, “regarding earlier.. I feel terrible and understand that my behaviour recently has put a mental strain on not only myself, but you as well.” Now holding you a little tighter, he continues, “ You my dear, are single handedly my everything, so I apologize for making you feel all but that. I shall finally be in your company once again, with tomorrow morning being a start.”

Kissing the back of your head, he nuzzles further into your hair, “y/n, do you know exactly how much I love you? If not, I guess I’ll have to court you all over again.”

“You better work your damn hardest.”
