Hey y'all! So this is something I'd really like to start doing regularly. It's called the simblr shoutout! I'll be shouting out a simblr who posts content I really love and enjoy, and I highly suggest that you go folllow them if you're interested in the kind of content they post. Now, I by no means have the largest following in the community, but I still think it's important to show my gratitude and it makes me happy to promote blogs that I truly feel are deserving of more appreciation! Just doing my part in trying to spread the positive and happy parts of simblr.

Today I'll be shouting out @gaymerborealis, a maxis match simblr who posts some of the cutest cottagecore builds and a lovely legacy that takes place in henford-on-bagley, the Mårtensdotter legacy! The cottagecore vibes are OFF THE CHARTS, and her builds are beautiful!

She also makes cc and mods, like the Neurodivergent mod, which is a work in progress. If you check out her progress updates you can really tell that there is so much work, dedication and love going into the project! I think it's a wonderful idea for a mod, and can't wait to see what she continues doing with it.

So, to make a long story short, I highly suggest you head over to her blog and give her a look! That's all for today, but I plan on making this a weekly thing, as I truly believe there are some extremely talented individuals out there who deserve a big ol' shoutout 😊

With the wedding dress selected, it’s time for cake! They walk over to the little wedding cake boutique next doors where they’re met with a dizzying array of beautiful cakes and cake toppers.

They look around and discuss, but agrees on a two-tier off-white cake with pink roses that’s got just the right rustic yet romantic vibe. For the cake, they get a topper with pink roses and a script.

It's moving day!

With an expanding family and farm business, it was high time to upgrade from Cecilia's tiny cottage to a proper farm. They had to take out a loan to afford it, but they're hoping this investment will pay off (and that maybe they can scrape together enough to afford their big dream farm at the top of the hill someday)

Moomin and the chickens are also not the only animals on the farm anymore! They bought a llama and a jersey cow named Bluebell!

Back at Cecilia's cottage. Both Xena and Cookie has become old, and because neither Ava and Cecilia nor the watcher is ready for that, they quickly fetch some age-down treats at the vet.

Ava enjoys being alive and celebrates with a tasty dish of real non-spectral sustenance.

Meanwhile, Cecilia wakes up one morning nauseous, and has her suspicions confirmed after a quick pregnancy test; it looks like a little nooboo is finally on their way!

By the time they were done with the shopping, the sun was going down and so they decided to end the evening with a romantic dinner at the nearby restaurant that served only the finest tartosian food and wine.

The family is expanding!

But the peace doesn't last too long. Xena runs away, some annoying sim offers a big sum of money if they marry soon, and Noelle has turned out to be a rather demanding baby.

Cecilia's friend Luna calls and offers some consolating advice.

Well, Xena continues to keep the chicken coop safe. Agatha could never 🙄

At the very least, Cecilia was able to cook a tasty meal for her poor exhausted fiancée who at this point is basically solely responsible for the farm.

After dinner Cecilia is hit by even more bad moodlets and in another attempt to find relief she tries to brew some herbal remedies in her cauldron but this fails miserably.

A curse cleansing potion later Cecilia has given up and spends the rest of the evening cross-stitching (and pricks her finger), while a stinky Ava does her best to keep the garden alive.

Ava's also been hammering away at her woodworking skills whenever she can get the chance, both as a potential source of income but also so they can make curing racks and start curing tea someday.

But thankfully, these dorks are too infatuated to stay awkward for long 😂

One morning towards the end of the second trimester Ava and Cecilia heads to the doctor for an ultrasound and find out they're the expecting parents of a healthy little girl!

They put the ultrasound picture up in the now finished nursery.

In the meantime, Ava continues working away at the farm, with only some brief moments to spare to cuddle a bunny or two.

Their neighbour Rahmi over at the Watson farm is also very appreciative of Ava's career advice. You're welcome Rahmi.

Cecilia's cranky mood has not gotten better with the increasing strain of the growing nooboo. In all honestly she's worse and to top it off she can barely go an hour without needing to pee or rest. Pregnancy is rough. Ava does her best to support her fiancée and takes the time one morning to make her breakfast.

Though when serving the breakfast poor Ava ends up at the receiving end of Cecilia's morning mood swing. But they do apologize and talk it out in the end.

And after breakfast, Cecilia lets Ava feel her belly and Ava definately thinks she can feel a little feet kick in there!

🐮 It's starting to look a lot like Winterfest here in Finchwick and Cecilia spends this Decoration Day making the little cottage sparkle. Or at least be a little less dirty. She don't really have space or money for a holiday tree and in fact she has some other plans for winterfest entirely, but she still finds it nice to tidy up the place and get into the holiday mood atleast for a little while

While Cecilia is vacuuming, our hardworking farmdog Xena is patrolling the yard and keeping an eye out for mischievous foxes. The snowfall is now also getting heavier and it's now actually a proper winter!

It also just so happens to be Cecilia's birthday today, and once she's done cleaning she uses some fresh honey from her bees to make herself a birthday cake. It's a private and lowkey occasion, just Cecilia and her pets, but that's fine by her as she's already getting quite tired from a long day, but most of all her birthday has made her realize how fast time has flown since she lost Ava and birthday and winterfest parties is really the last thing on her mind.

Today she's become determined to bring her girlfriend back before the year ends.

Cecilia enjoyed the wine and athmosphere, for Ava on the other hand various small stresses had taken enough of a toll that she went nonverbal--something she only does when she’s very stressed.

But thankfully Cecilia was there to calm her (and listen to her ramble about cows for an hour).

They hire the stylist and spend a good few hours trying one outfit after another, from formal styles to some more casual ones (proposed by the stylist, the watcher and the couple were not too convinced of these). They pay a visit to the hair salon upstairs as well.

In the end, Cecilia finds her dream dress and Ava the perfect suit!
