#Lips muppet

I think Lips just worries about the people he loves getting sick or being injured; mayhaps something happened in his past with maybe someone or more of his family got sick and had to go somewhere to be better but never came back at all. Like say maybe his grandmother got ill and had to be taken to a doctor and she never got to return home because she must’ve died?

Then maybe Lips just didn’t know she died until maybe a week after the death before a funeral and just got told that it was said family members’ funeral and that’s when it hit him and left him traumatized at a young age? Maybe that’s why with the band whether or not they get like a cold or flu or even when they have a small minor injury that requires maybe surgery or something, Lips thinks he or she, depends on how close, might be dead.

Rewatching the Muppets Mayhem and I have some thoughts.

Lips always saying people are dead is so funny to me. Janice being in the hospital and Lips telling everyone she died, Animal missing and Lips assuming he's dead, AND then Nora leaving and everyone needing to be told she's not dead because Lips assumed she was and then told everyone she was dead.

I also saw Lips bartending one of the parties so I am going to assume Lips, on top of being a former preschool teacher, being in a band, being a college lecturer IS ALSO a professional bartender.

The fact Janice stole Floyd away from some girl named Betty is just very funny to me.

All of Lips' plans to save the world were very good and I support them.

Zoot randomly making things float was interesting.

I also forgot that Floyd was apparently dishonorably discharged.

And of course how could I leave my fav character without a human ver 🦧

Silly Muppet men on my mind …

Plus Muppet oc because I can’t control myself… I like to think he would join the Muppets during the Great Muppet Caper !! His name is Dotty and he was among the singers in the Happiness Hotel (Among the country/hippie puppets) He is very skittish and nervous and gets himself into accidents often, he’s somewhat of a klutz, he thinks he is straight up bad luck. He is pretty superstitious (Avoids cracks in sidewalks and is very careful around mirrors, though he ends up breaking them anyway.) He is pretty good on the banjo, like Kermit, but prefers to play it quickly, he can also yodel 😁🫶
