In Mechanicsville, MD: DUKE, A SWEET GENTLE GIANT MASTIFF needs a new home ASAP!!

Duke is a sweetheart and greets everyone with pure love in his heart.

Wonderful with strangers, cats, kids and other dogs. This gentle boy is very laid back.

He is house trained and vaccinated but is not neutered.

Duke is a 3-year-old, 195lb Neapolitan Mastiff. He is not trained on leash and will only walk a few feet and then put on the brakes. He is food motivated so positive training should help. Duke is hesitant about steps. He will walk up and down 4 steps only and again applies the brakes.

Sadly, Duke only has one week before he will go to a the local shelter where they are full and stated that they will have to euthanize him.

He is located in Mechanicsville Maryland.

So I got myself a StBernard puppy. The house smelled terrible and the puppies were sleeping on and peeing on the same towels, mixing not the bathroom and the bedroom but the inside of the toilet bowl and the bed.

They had apparently just had a bath... and still had pee and poop on them. I showed up around noon and they were all very sleepy.

I picked this guy and named him Gilgamesh. In my family there is a tradition on how to name pets. You pick a long noble and regal name... like Augustus then you call them something less formal like Gus. So everyone meet Gil!

He slept the whole 4 hour car ride home.
