I finally finished my buni doll! he's taller than my arm and pretty hefty. it was my first time embroidering, wire armateuring, using this specific pattern making process, etc.... so I think he turned out better than I ever expected lol!

he's mostly posable tho the wire I had access to isn't strong enough to combat the minky. live and learn 🤷‍♂️

How do you store your pamphlet bound fics? I'm never sure about binding fics that way because you can't really put a label on the spine, so if I ended up with a lot of them it could be hard to find a specific fic. Any thoughts?

i put mine in an old pasta box, cut at an angle so i can see the colors of the cardstock;

i vaguely remember which fics had which colored covers, so i can look for those colors and find the fics i want! putting them in order alphabetically by either title or author helps too, that way i know i'm looking for one near the right or the left of the box. i'm not sure if this method would work well for a very large quantity of pamphlet binds with similar colored covers, but it seems to be working well so far.

can you believe there is a whole ass stevie nicks (+ lindsey buckingham) album that does not exist in any format but it's originally released 12-inch lp? it was never re-released in cd and much less on streaming. you can't find it (legally) in any format but vinyl records and it is incredible. just makes me mourn for everything lost to time that will never be loved because no one knows it exists

One of my favourite hcs that's going into this fic is that as a human now, Greed has extreme memory problems. A human brain isn't really made to hold ~200 years worth of information (plus anything 'pre-programmed' into him by Father) and now that he doesn't have a philosopher's stone that would otherwise be storing everything, his brain gets overloaded and he loses track of things a lot. It's not in a linear fashion either, sometimes he gets mixed up on which memories are what's going on in the present, which leads to consistent problems in remembering that he's not a homunculus anymore even years into living as a human. He draws and writes things down with dates/names when he can remember them, to declutter his thoughts and have something to reference when he gets confused. No one really realizes that it's going on for a while since most things can either be assumed to be him being weird on purpose, or he would brush off as still getting used to things, which would be enough of an excuse for most people
