Totally random real-life moment, but I can put X on my passport, labeling myself as nonbinary on every piece of identification that exists. My drivers license, my birth certificate, and now my passport.

Honestly, it makes me so happy I could cry.

I didn't think I needed my gender to be recognized. I thought it would be fine living with my assigned sex at birth as long as the people close to me knew. But now I can't imagine hiding any longer.

We're here. We're queer. I'm about to show the world just how gay I can be while reminding people that there are those like me who are outside of the binary.
